~Moana
When she woke, it was to the all-too familiar feeling of having sand stuck in all of her crevices. Moana sat up spluttering, licking her teeth and spitting out gritty sand. She rebuked the ocean for not helping her. "Fish pee in you all day!"
With that, she turned to survey her surroundings, and was surprised to find herself on an abandoned beach. Well, except for the strange blue box looming in the shadow of a large boulder. It didn't look like a house or a boat, but through the opening she could see something...It must belong to the gods—maybe even Maui!
Moana sprinted over to the strange hut and peered inside. As she tiptoed over the threshold, she murmured, "I am Moana of Motunui. You will board my ship..."
The door closed behind her.
