"Annie I have tell..." (BOOM!) There was an explosion on the other side of the headquarters.
They all crouched under the table... "What the hell was that?" Whispered Annie...
Being smart and following Gibbs' rule (never go anywhere without a knife... or in this case a gun) Ziva and Tony both drew a weapon.
"Oh good your armed.. what the hell is going on..." said Jackson.
"Abba has there been any turmoil lately?"
"no my dear only talks of peace... I wouldn't allow you to come here if I knew there was danger."
Annie sprang into action. "We need to get to the safe room Ziva."
"We'll cover you stay close..."
Annie crawls over to a space behind the bar in the conference room. Hoping what she was looking for was still there..
"Annie we don't have time for that!" said Jackson.
"Jackie boy you'll look back on this moment 20 years from now when your telling this to our grandkids...I mean your grandkids... and you'll thank me...so you're welcome." She replied smirking. Finding what she was looking for she entered a password to get into a hidden safe taking from it a small tablet and four communication devices. She put the ear piece in her ear and tossed the equipment to the others.
"This will help us keep and eye on what is going on out side. They may have already cut the security but they don't know about this little trick."
The tablet was patched into several hidden security cameras all around the headquarters. On the screen she saw that it was a group of about thirty militants heavily armed.
They all gathered together and ran for the safe-room. Annie occasionally looked over her shoulder to make sure the crew was closely behind her still in one piece.
Annie felt around on the walls of the small safe room. Tony felt like he was in a spy movie of sorts, even more so when Annie found the button to make all of the weapons come out of the wall.
Jackson and Annie armed themselves with a Jericho941, Glock19 and 2 M4Carbines and enough amo to keep them going for a while . They were smart and chose to put on bullet proof vests as well.
"You should be all set in here for the time being guys." said Annie "Come on Jackie boy, let's do this thing..."
"What.. no no, Ziva and I should go out there... I promised your Aunt and your father that we would take care of you two and no... I just can't let you go out there alone into a hail of bombs and bullets.." Tony tried to sway Annie and Jackson, but neither of them would have it.
"No Tony. You and Ziva should stay here with Eli. We've got this..."
"be careful... Gibbs, Jenny and Lea and Derrick would never forgive me..."
(NCIS HEADQUARTERS)
It was just another day at the office for Gibbs and McGee. Even though Ziva and Tony were on vacation duty still called. Gibbs still couldn't believe what Abby had figured out yesturday, he wondered how Tony would take the news of having a daughter. 'He'll step up to the plate I just know he will...' He thought to himself . All of sudden a ZNN news flash came on the screne.
'THIS JUST IN BREAKING NEWS FROM ISRAEL ATTACK ON MOSSAD HEADQUARTERS. NO WORD ON DEATH TOLL, PARTIES INVOLVED OR SURVIVORS..."
Gibbs shot up out of his desk chair and McGee did the same. He ran over to the Monitor and turned up the volume.
'Yes that is right, an apparent Terrorist attack has just occurred on Mossad...We still don't know how bad this is, we will be updating as soon as we get more information.'
"OH MY GOD BOSS, DO YOU THINK?"
"I DON'T KNOW MCGEE...THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING AGAIN." His mind raced. His son and two of his agents were in grave danger and there was absolutly nothing he could do about it. He didn't want to have to tell his wife and Annie's aunt and uncle that their kids might not make it home.
"father who could be behind this?"
"I'm sure Eli here has racked up many enemies in his career...no offense future father in law.." Tony remarked.
"None taken..." smirked Eli
Kelly and Jason were shocked to see the news as well. She immediately called her father.
"Daddy...can't we send someone over there to help? They're NCIS's best agents and Jackson is your son?"
"I know baby, Jenny calm down, they're both smart and tough... Annie has been trained well..." Jenny was sobbing in the background.
"We can't do anything until we know everything..."
as her father hung up she received a text from Kris. 'Sis... saw the news. He's there...he's involved.'
"Oh my God he's already been shot because of me... not this too"
"This isn't your fault... how could this be your fault..."
"Markus is behind... Kris just texted me..."
McGee was waiting at headquarters when Kelly frantically called him.
"wait... Markus is in Israel..."
"Yes Kris texted me he went on a search a few weeks ago and... I'm on my way there."
McGee hung up the phone and called Gibbs. He later came back into headquarters with Lea and Derrick.
Annie and Jackson took action quickly against the assailants. Picking them off one by one.
Hand to hand combat ensued when another masked man came up behind Annie. Jackson had her six. The pair quickly knocked him off his feet and zip tied him. Sure that all of the gunman had been taken out at this point they hoisted the man up and brought him back to the safe room.
"Got us a live one." Annie said in a sadistically fake southern accent.
"Ohh boy we gon make hime tallk we is" Jackson responded similarly.
"Get a chair for this one. Need to make him comfortable" said Tony who was somewhat proud of the two teenagers. He removed the mask and Ziva gasped.
"ILAN!? * %$##*&%$" she swore in Hebrew. "wake up you ungrateful...TWERP"
Tony was shocked... for the first time ever that he knew Ziva David he finally heard her say a phrase he understood. He smirked at her. "YES!" He threw his hands in the air like his team just got a touch down.
"What?"
"Y..You did it! You said an idiom correctly!"
"We'll celebrate later... HOW COULD YOU AFTER ALL MY FATHER HAS DONE!"
He began to stir... "I ...Ziva... I did it for the money... He said he'd help me... get what i deserved if... I brought him the boy and his.. friend..."
"And now your just singing like a canary after a few bumps and scrapes..."
Tony smiled and held up two fingers. "twice in 3 minutes! I'm so proud..."
"Hey hey hey, we got him pretty good."
"We set it all up to look like it was the Iranians... Eli's Peace talks would fail... and I would take my place on his 'throne'..."
"I loved you like a son..."
"I'm sorry...only that I didn't succeed..."
"Well you can be sorry behind bars assuming you man doesn't arrange for you to die mysteriously..." Tony replied bluntly
Everyone waited at headquarters for word on their loved ones when a video call came in from MTAC.
"Gibbs!"
"Leon?"
"Someone in MTAC for you..."
Before Vance could say anymore the group ran into the room without windows and were all ecstatic to see Ziva, Tony, Annie and Jackson alive and Well! Even if they were just on a big screen... Heck Gibbs was even happy to see Eli.
"Hey looks like everybody is there waiting for us..."
"Hey boss guess what?!" Before Tony could tell everyone that Ziva had said an American Idiom Abby assumed Jackson spilled the beans...
"I KNOW TONY?! HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A FATHER, CONGRATULATIONS!"
"WAHOOOOO WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH WHAT?" He looked at Ziva who shook her head back and forth. Eyes widening...
Lea and Derrick looked at each-other and and Lea choked on some tears...Knowing in her heart what Abby was saying.
"ABBBY NOOOOO!?" exclaimed Jackson
"Oh... you didn't tell them yet... I'm... well what are you waiting for Christmas?"
Tony didn't need to hear anything else... It all made sense now, his internal need to protect Annie, why her emerald colored orbs were familiar to him... they were his own...and he fought his own tears..."Bu...t..."
"Are you for real...am I dreaming this is for real" she laughed nervously...I'ma Ddi di di ...she began to hyperventilate amazed that someone on the other side of the world at that moment had just dropped a 'nuclear bomb' into her life... but she was happy... She put her hand over her mouth and was overcome with emotion. Just a week ago she learned the awful truth that her mother was raped and that she was probably the product of that injustice and now everything feeling she had ever longed for had come true... She got on her knees and began to praise God for this miracle.
Tony was immediately by her side wrapping his arms around her. He could no longer contain his emotions either. He was a father, he was her... father the only feelings of anger he had now were that he didn't go after her mom when she left and that he missed so much of her life...16 years... He is a father now...
Jackson placed his hand on Her back to let her know he was there too. If she needed him to be.
"It's you... you're my dad..." she sobbed into Tony's shoulder and he would hold her until she wanted him to let go. 16 years without knowing he was her father... he never wanted to let go.
It was a gut wrenching yet heartfelt scene to witness. soon everyone had a few tears. Kelly thought grab her phone out of her jacket pocked and snapped a quick picture of Annie in Tony's arms. It was a bit blurry but this was going to make an incredible decoration for this new father's desk.
