~June 24th~

"If a clock could count down to the moment you met your soulmate, would you want to know?"

One minute and 37 seconds.

Cindy raced down the street on her bikes, the adrenaline pumping through her veins, as she turned into the park. She couldn't believe it was almost time. Holy shit. She couldn't do this alone.

One minute and 29 seconds.

She skids too hard and falls over into the muddy ground. Of course her meeting with her soulmate would happen while she was covered in mud. She looked around the faces of the people of the park.

One minute and 6 seconds.

Somewhere in this park, someone has the same exact countdown on their wrist. They were going through the same pressure as her.

54 seconds.

She jumps on her bike and starts going again. She couldn't stay still. She had to keep moving. The nerves were getting to her. Where could he be?

32 seconds.

She stops at a water fountain to try to remove some of the mud off of her. She couldn't be too muddy now. That just wouldn't make for a good first meeting. She jumped on her bike and started riding around again.

14 seconds.

A little boy runs in front of Cindy's bike in chase of a ball. She brakes hard and flies off her bike again, doing a somersault and landing on her face. She groans out in pain.

Zero seconds.

She feels someone's arms wrap around her body and pick her up. She shook her head as she opened her eyes, then blushed furiously as she looked into the eyes of Hiro. They both looked at each other's watches as it read 0:00:00.

"You got dirt on your face, C," he said has he pulled out a handkerchief and wiped her cheek. She giggled softly and looked in his eyes.

"I always had a feeling it was you," she mumbled softly.

"Me too," he whispered as he took her hand and waked her to the small wash station to try and get the mud off her clothes.
