Kim's POV
I groan loudly.
"Milton, not again!" Milton shrugs his shoulder with amusement and smugness written all over his features.
"You're a good singer! I don't understand what the problem is!"
"The problem, you buttfaceheadnugget, is that I have motherf*cking exams to study for," I respond, trying my best to contain my anger. Yes, I realize that is completely out of character, but Jack insists that I'm way too short-tempered; so he threatened to find a way to put my in anger management classes if I wasn't nicer… Asshole.
"Oh please, Midterms are a piece of cake," Milton says while waving his hand in a dismissive way.
"Not all of us stay locked up in our room studying Milton. Besides, my brain doesn't retain information as fast as your does." I see him frown slightly.
"You have to do it whether you like it or not, I already signed you up."
"Milton, I can't."
"You have to," Milton counters, making my blood boil.
"I can't."
"You don't have a choice." This little titty n*gga b*tch did not just got there.
"Milton, if I have to say the words 'I can't' one more time; you're manhood will no longer be in it's rightful place, but buried somewhere in the ground."
"But you have to!" This time, I turn around. With my poofy, wavy hair, gritted teeth, and reddened face, I was surely the sight.
"THAT'S IT!" I shout and that's when all hell breaks loose. Milton lets out a high squeal and takes off running, me hot on his trails. Screw Jack, I'm about kick some ass.
-LineBreak-
I sigh as Milton plops me down in front of the mirror. Apparently, he's not as out-of-shape as I thought he was. About twenty minutes later, I found myself still chasing him. My solution was to turn down a different street and cut him off where the two streets intersected. By the time I got to him, I only had the energy to kick him in the groin. He'd somehow, however, managed to convince me to do the Talent Show anyways.
"What song are you going to do?"
"It's a surprise," I respond, and that's the last I hear of song choices that night. Even though he's behind me, I can tell he's rolling his eyes.
"Alright diva, get your tiny ass into the shower so we can start preparing you." I gasp at his answer. I stand up and touch my butt.
"I do not have a tiny ass! I'll have you know I think my booty lookin' right," I exclaim. Milton snorts.
"You can't believe everything Jack tells you." My face goes red at his insinuation and he laughs at my embarrassment. I shove him so hard he topples over and falls, now it's my turn to laugh. Thirty minutes later, I've hopped into the shower, washed my hair, and scrubbed all the dirt off my skin. I smell like strawberries now! That's amazing! I throw on some pajamas, wrap my hair in a towel, and walk out.
"Let's get to work," Milton says, putting on his concentration face. He starts by adding lotion to my face. Then he follows with dabbing some concealer on my stress pimples, and the bags under my eyes. He uses foundation and first tests it to see if it matches my complexion. After he sees it matches, he rubs it all over my face and blends it in with a brush. Milton reaches for the eye shadow palette with a determined look on his face and my eyes widen. Sh*t, I'm going to be here for hours. After applying, or should I say, forcing eye primer on me, he dabs the brush with a cool, toned brown and uses it for my crease. Then he uses a flesh toned color on my lids. He then takes the gel pencil and creates a thin black line on my upper lash line. He reaches for the black eyeshadow again and applies it to the end of the line and smudges it out to make a wing. Milton then adds a sparkly iridescent glitter to the inner corner of my eyes. He picks up the eyeshadow palette once agains and applies black eyeshadow to my lower lash line. Next, he takes the brown he used before and mixes it in with the black, but I feel him drag the brush just a few centimeters lower then the black. I'm actually very excited to see myself until he takes out the eyelash curler.
-Two Hours Later-
"GET AWAY FROM ME, YOU N*GGA TIITY B*TCH!"
"IF YOU DON'T COME HERE, I'M GOING TO THROW THIS AT YOUR HEAD."
"THROW IT AT ME AND I'LL SHOVE IT UP YOUR BOOTYHOLE!" Milton suddenly tackles me to the ground and shoves the eye lash curler in my face. I'm about to knee him in the groin when he glares into my soul.
"Don't."
-Two Minutes Later-
Lastly, he applies loads and loads of mascara on and then a tight line. He then finishes off the look with a rather bold choice, red lipstick. I wished the look wasn't so bold, but I loved it nonetheless because it gave me this sudden boost of confidence. I was about to stand up when I realized he still had to do my hair. UGHHHHH! F*ck her right in the p*ssy, I just want to be done with this! As he's letting my hair down and ever-so slowly combing it, I start groaning.
"Listen, Gay version of Milton, can you please hurry up? I'm tired." He slaps me in the back of the head.
"Let me work." I sigh, and let him finish what he's started. After combing my hair, he blows dries it as quickly as possible. After about twenty minutes of randomly waving the blower around my hair, he turns the blower off and turns the flat iron on. He sprays heat protectant on my hair, and begins straightening it. What seems like centuries later, I see him turn it off and praise the Lord while standing up. But the glory only lasts a few second because Milton pushes me back down onto my chair and turns the wand on. My Lord, this baboon-like nincompoop has got to be kidding me. He slowly starts curling the ends of my hair so they fall in loose waves over my shoulders. After he finishes my hairstyle by spraying it with hairspray, he shoves my outfit in my face and tells me to try it on. When I come out of the bathroom, I'm wearing a white, spaghetti strap crop top that ends at around the top of my rib cage; and a crop white sweater with holes (sort of like a sown blanket). It's matched with a red skirt that goes over my belly button, leaving just a little bit of skin exposed. When I walk out of the bathroom, I see that Milton is already long gone. Sighing, I take one last look in the mirror. Twenty selfies and a kick kat bar later, I'm stepping into my car, headed to the auditorium.
-LineBreak-
When I arrived, I saw that the entire gang, except Milton was already there. Where the f*ck is that red-head little weasboon. Yes, I did just call just call him a weasboon. It's a combination of weasel and baboon.
"Hello my fellow mentally unstable friends!" Everyone turns to look at me, but no one returns my greeting. Instead, they all just gawk.
"Kim... You look gorgeous!" That's the sound of Julie and Grace gushing over my appearance. I laugh at their excitement.
"You really do look fab girlie," Eddie fills in, snapping his finger and talking in a high-pitched voice. The only two that haven't said anything are Jack and Jerry.
"She's my best friend's girl, she's my best friend's girl, she's my best friend's girl," Jerry repeats, over and over to himself. When everyone turns to see Jack's reaction, we find he's still not done staring. Everyone snickers at him and that's when he snaps out of dream-like state. He coughs nervously and runs his hand through his hair repeatedly.
"I know, you've just gone from having a massive crush on me to falling in love with me," I say in a cocky way while flipping my hair confidently.
"I don't have a crush on you," he responds, both flustered and annoyed. I walk up to him and pat him on the shoulder.
"Tell that to your reaction a few minutes ago."

"Let's give her another round of applause ladies and gentlemen," the announcer says as Caitlyn Miller runs off the stage.
"Next up we have Eddie Santiago singing I'm Not the Only One." At the mention of the song, the crowd is about as wild as gorillas at the zoo.
You and me, we made a vow
For better or for worse
I can't believe you let me down
But the proof's in a way it hurts
For months on end I've had my doubts
Denying every tear
I wish this would be over now
But I know that I still need you here
You say I'm crazy
'Cause you don't think I know what you've done
But when you call me baby
I know I'm not the only one
You've been so unavailable
Now sadly I know why
Your heart is unobtainable
Even though Lord knows you have mine
You say I'm crazy
'Cause you don't think I know what you've done
But when you call me baby
I know I'm not the only one
I have loved you for many years
Maybe I am just not enough
You've made me realize my deepest fear
By lying and tearing us up
You say I'm crazy
'Cause you don't think I know what you've done
But when you call me baby
I know I'm not the only one
You say I'm crazy
'Cause you don't think I know what you've done
But when you call me baby
I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not the only one
And I know, and I know, and I know, and I know, and I know, and I know, know
I know I'm not the only one
"I think he deserves another round of applause guys, I mean c'mon." At that, the crowd erupts with whistles and claps.
"The fact that he could pull off a Sam Smith song is pure talent right there," the announcer continues to kiss Eddie's ass.
"Anyways, if you liked that then you'll really love this next act. We welcome to the stage Kimberly Crawford singing Little Me by Little Mix!"
She lives in the shadow of a lonely girl
Voice so quiet you don't hear a word,
Always talking but she can't be heard,
You can see there if you catch her eye,
I know she's brave but it's trapped inside,
Scared to talk but she don't know why,
Wish I knew back then
What I know now.
Wish I could somehow
Go back in time and maybe listen to my own advice.
I'd tell her to speak up, tell her to shout out,
Talk a bit louder, be a bit prouder,
Tell her she's beautiful, wonderful,
Everything she doesn't see,
You gotta speak up, you gotta shout out,
And know that right here, right now,
You can be beautiful, wonderful,
Anything you wanna be,
Little me
Yeah, you got a lot of time to act your age,
You can't write a book from a single page,
Hands on the clock only turn one way,
(Yeah)
Run too fast and you'll risk it all,
Can't be afraid to take a fall,
Felt so big but she looks so small,
Wish I knew back then
What I know now.
Wish I could somehow
Go back in time and maybe listen to my own advice.
I'd tell her to speak up, tell her to shout out,
Talk a bit louder, be a bit prouder,
Tell her she's beautiful, wonderful,
Everything she doesn't see.
(Know that right here, right now)
You gotta speak up, you gotta shout out,
And know that right here, right now,
You can be beautiful, wonderful,
Anything you wanna be, oh,
Little me
Little me, yeah
Tell you one thing I would say to her
I'd tell her to speak up, tell her to shout out,
Talk a bit louder, be a bit prouder,
Tell her she's beautiful, wonderful,
Everything she doesn't see.
(You got to) you gotta speak up, (You got to) you gotta shout out,
And know that right here, right now,
You can be beautiful, wonderful,
Anything you wanna be,
Little me
At this point, everyone stands up and starts to clap along to the soothing beat of the song
I'd tell her to speak up, tell her to shout out,
Talk a bit louder, be a bit prouder,
Tell her she's beautiful, wonderful,
Everything she doesn't see.
You gotta speak up, you gotta shout out,
And know that right here, right now,
You can be beautiful, wonderful,
Anything you wanna be,
I'd tell her to speak up, tell her to shout out,
Talk a bit louder, be a bit prouder,
Tell her she's beautiful, wonderful,
Everything she doesn't see.
You gotta speak up, you gotta shout out,
And know that right here, right now,
You can be beautiful, wonderful,
Anything you wanna be,
Little me
The crowd begins to cheer and shout. I breathe out. Thank God it's over. As I walk off stage the girls are the first to attack in bear hugs.
"You did f*cking amazing. Slay!" Grace says and I laugh. Next are the guys, all of which hugged me and told me I was Queen… They've been spending a little too much time with Grace. She's going through this phase where she says slay, Queen, literally me, and legit a lot. It seems Jerry has picked up on it more than anyone else seeing as how they now spend every single breathing moment together. I was expecting something from Jack, but all he does is stand there and smile at me.
"Why are you smiling at me like you've hidden cameras in changing rooms and I'm one of the people you got on camera?" At that Jack's expression falls and he begins laughing.
"I was wondering where the rude comments went."
"Well I feeling particularly nice today, but there's only so much time I can go without insulting you and you huge ego," I respond.
"You did really good," he says and the sincerity of the compliment has me weak at the knees.
"Alright guys, settle down. It's time to announce who moves on to Round 2." He takes out an index card from a fancy looking envelope and begins reading off the names.
"Cindy Martinez
Lauren Rodriguez
Kimberly Crawford
Lilian Walters
and of course, Eddie Santiago!" Everyone begins to cheer as the last words of the night are said.
"Good night everyone!" He shouts and when he runs off, the lights come back on.
I know what you're thinking. What the hell is she doing back? Seriously, another Talent Show one? What's with the writing? Well, I know it's very obvious that I've been gone for centuries, which means that no one really remembers me. I don't even watch Kickin' It anymore, to be completely honest, but I felt like I really needed to update. I didn't want to leave these One-Shots on an abrupt ending. I also know that my writing now is ten times different than it was when I first started these. I've matured both age and material wise, so everything is going to sound different. I'm now more aware of the younger ages on here, etc. Sorry if that takes away from the funny puns, retarded scenes and jokes. I just want to finish these at a very good number of chapters. Sorry for saying I was back a few months ago and then never updating, high school had me going crazy. I decided that since I have some free time, I should at least update a One-Shot, but I had no inspiration so when I went through the old ones (which were really sh*tty by the way) and I picked a favorite to re-do. As you can see, those were the Talent Show ones. Anyways, anyone have any suggestions for the next chapter? I was going to do sort of a movie thing with the whole gang, but if anyone has a better suggestion then I'll do that. I'm done for today. Good by my lovelies!
