A/N: Okay, this is it! The final fight! Get ready for some ass kicking! By the way, Alice uses the M4 like a floating Sentry Gun, using her Telekinesis to aim and reload :P Issacs is also going to be a douchebag in this fight, so...
*Charges into the arena, screaming like an idiot.*
Ryan and Katie kept firm grips on their guns, following Alice into the dimly lit laboratory, which looked like it had been overthrown by a rampaging bull. Desks and shelves were overturned, papers strewn all over the floor, and blood puddles were everywhere. Inside of a glass paneled room, several bodies were hung from the ceiling by what seemed to be their intestines, and one of them had no legs.
Ryan scanned the room with his headlamp until he realized that he could see better without it. He pulled it off his head and shoved it into his belt, just as Alice and Katie spotted an aluminum attache case on a far desk. Inside was several bright green syringes.
The Anti-Virus.
Alice knew better than to rush towards it, since she could smell the lingering T-Virus from Issacs in the room. But due to the amount of it, she couldn't pinpoint his exact location. Katie was going through the same issue.
The moment that he also spotted the attache case, Ryan's face lit up and he took a step forward, only to have Alice stop him with her arm.
She shook her head, noticing that he was no longer using his headlamp. She glanced around the room to search for any movement, any sign that Issacs was there, but she couldn't find any. She lowered her arm and silently mouthed, "I will give us a shield."
Ryan nodded and waited until Alice gave a thumbs up to confirm that the shield was going. Together they began to approach the attache case until they were within arm's reach of it. Alice redirected her floating M4 to the room at large, then began to slide one of the syringes out of the case. She unknowingly lowered the Telekinetic shield around them as she stared at the glowing green liquid in her hand.
"I hate needles, by the way." Ryan said as he accepted her silent offer to give him the shot. He rolled up the sleeve of his T-shirt on his infected arm, and Alice slowly began to insert the tip of the needle into his arm when he was suddenly hoisted into the air as a long tentacle wrapped around his neck from above them. The syringe had barely been in his arm, and tumbled to the floor, shattering loudly. Katie grabbed a second one just before the attache case was grabbed by a second tentacle and thrown far across the room, scattering the other syringes, most of which shattered when the case hit the far wall.
Ryan grabbed the tentacle around his throat and managed to get his fingers under his jaw, giving himself a small amount of breathing space. He turned his yellow gaze upwards and was greeted by the mutilated face of Issacs hanging from the ceiling.
"This boy... wasn't your target... June." Issacs spoke in a raspy, guttural voice, giving Ryan a look of disdain. "Why is... he... here?"
"Let Nii-chan go!" Katie yelled, aiming her MP7 towards Issacs. "Let him go!"
Issacs smiled darkly as he launched Ryan halfway across the room. "Poor choice... words." He growled before dropping down from the ceiling onto the desk below.
Katie gave him one scanning look before she glanced back to see Ryan springing to his feet and raising his M3. Issacs was a good seven feet tall now, his skin was a dull gray, and his right hand was now a massive claw. The tentacles swayed from behind his head, and his chest had a large pulsating yellow tumor that she first thought to be his heart protruding out of his chest. Alice aimed her floating M4 at Issacs and started firing.
The bullets sank into his flesh, blood splattering out in a red mist, but they didn't seem to be doing anything more than to annoy him. He swung his clawed hand, causing Alice and Katie to dive out of the way, just as Ryan fired his M3 at Issacs' head. The buckshot made him stumble back slightly, but did nothing else in terms of injury.
Alice raised her M37 and fired at Issacs' legs, causing him to go down onto one knee as Ryan fired again, this time hitting Issacs in the chest, causing a large splash of his blood to erupt from the yellow tumor. Ryan quickly pumped his shotgun and started walking forward, firing into the yellow beacon like mass on Issacs' chest again, then again. But before he could fire anymore, Issacs shot another tentacle towards him in a wide sweep, knocking him aside and over a shelf before slamming through the glass where the hanging bodies were. He landed with a groan and quickly returned to the fight, shards of glass falling off his shoulders and back as he got to his feet.
Katie opened fire with her MP7, emptying the magazine into the tumor as Alice continued to fire both the M4 and her M37 until her shotgun was out of ammo. She tossed it aside and resorted to her pistols, firing rapidly as she reloaded the M4 with another magazine over her head. Issacs continued to use his tentacles in wide attacks, forcing them to duck as he stepped off the desk and began to walk towards Alice with a smile on his face.
Without warning Katie aimed her hand at Issacs and an orange fireball shot out of her palm and hit him right in the face, causing him to stumble backwards and hit a desk. Alice smiled and gave Issacs a massive Telekinesis blast, making him land on his back on the desk, his head still on fire.
Ryan fired the last of his M3's ammo into Issacs' chest, then he quickly switched to his G36K, firing his entire magazine alongside Alice's floating M4. Katie reloaded her MP7 and fired at Issacs while he stood up, his tentacles curling around his torso protectively.
From inside the writhing mass of tentacles, Issacs began to chuckle. He began to walk forward and said. "You can't kill me."
"Bullshit, asshole!" Ryan snarled, reloading his G36K and taking aim again. "Pump you full of enough lead, burn your ass, maybe even throw in some stabs here and there, you'll die like any other motherfucker!"
"Sadly that... won't happen... Nii-chan..." Issacs sneered before he uncurled the tentacles around himself and let out a deafening roar, creating a shockwave that sent the three of them flying across the room and through a wall, landing on the other side in a shower of rubble.
Alice quickly sprang to her feet, watching as Issacs strode across the lab towards the three holes that they'd made in the wall. Suddenly she noticed where exactly she was standing.
As Alice stared, momentarily stunned at the former parlour of the mansion where she used to live, Issacs squeezed himself through the hole that Ryan had made, shooting one of his tentacles through and grabbing Alice by the throat, taking her by surprise.
"Yes... that is right... this is... your old home... before... Raccoon City..." Issacs taunted as he squeezed the breath from Alice's throat, making her gasp desperately, her hands clawing at the tentacle around her neck. "Perfectly... recreated... for your clones..."
At the mention of clones, Alice's eyes widened in shock, but quickly turned to determination as she quickly grabbed Issacs' tentacle and flicked her wrist, impaling her wrist blade into the flesh, giving her a split second of surprise to escape from his grasp.
"You bastard!" She gasped, aiming the pistol she hadn't dropped before impacting the wall. "It was never my home!"
She fired shot after shot into his chest and forehead, but he didn't even flinch. Katie joined at her side, thrusting her MP7 into Alice's hands as she aimed her M870 at Issacs' chest. She fired repeatedly, just as she let out a blast of fire which engulfed him entirely.
As Issacs writhed in pain, Alice noticed that the smoke coming off his body was curling up towards a sprinkler in the ceiling, which instantly began to shower him with water. The flames quickly sizzled out, and he smiled at them before beginning to stride forward, preparing to swing his clawed arm as they fired their guns into his chest in hopes of stopping him, even for a second.
But he continued to approach, and when they fired their last shot, he was far to close to switch to their blades, so they both tensed to dodge...
Suddenly the room was filled with the scent of ozone and the sound of crackling electricity. They dove aside and saw that Issacs was somehow being electrocuted. The saw the lightning trail over his shoulder and followed it, only to see Ryan seemingly controlling the bolts!
"Ryan!" Alice called, and she quickly unsheathed both her kukris just as Katie did the same with her katana and K-BAR. Alice threw both blades and impaled them into Issacs' chest, then Katie threw her K-BAR into his forehead. The metal blades caused the current in his body begin to pass through his heart, and into his spine. He jerked and shuddered until Ryan suddenly fell down to his knees with exhaustion.
Quickly blasting Issacs with a barrage of fireballs, Katie ran over to Ryan, who was grinning from ear to ear. She helped him stand up as Alice restarted her M4's near constant firing, using her Telekinesis to protect them while Ryan resumed fighting with his seemingly new T-Virus power over electricity.
"That felt awesome for me! How'd it feel for you, dipshit!?" Ryan called over to Issacs, who was having some trouble with attacking them from the other side of Alice's Telekinetic shield.
"Quite the mouth... you have there... boy!" Issacs growled, taking several running steps towards them, only to receive a sudden facefull of fire and another barrage of lightning bolts.
"Damn right I do! And I have plenty to say for you kidnapping my sister!" Ryan yelled as he charged towards Issacs and leapt forward onto his chest. "like this!"
He extended both of his wrist blades and thrust one into his chest, the other up from under his jaw, straight through his mouth and into his brain. But, surprisingly, Issacs wasn't dead from the attack and grabbed Ryan by the throat again, but from behind this time. He hoisted Ryan into the air and sneered. "Do you... all have those... blades up your arms? Or is it just that metal armour... of yours, boy?"
Ryan managed to give Issacs a cocky smirk and raised the middle finger of his right hand before Issacs suddenly slammed him down on the floor twice, then threw him across the room, where he landed, unmoving this time, at the foot of a large staircase flanked by two stone angel statues.
Issacs began to stride towards Ryan, who wasn't moving at all after the impacts of the floor and his throw to the stairs. Katie screamed his name as she sent a barrage of fireballs at Issacs, aided by Alice's M4 and Telekinetic blasts. However, neither of them were fast enough as Issacs picked Ryan up with his still normal looking left hand and snapped his neck, his body going limp as he was thrown up to the top of the stairs.
As Katie watched in slow motion, she watched as Ryan's eyes stopped glowing and rolled into the back of his head before he was violently thrown up the stairs. Suddenly she spotted something fall out of his belt, and she quickly realized that it was a military grade detonator, already armed. It may have been her imagination, but as Ryan's body was flying up the stairs, she could have sworn that his hand was directly pointing towards the detonator, like a final action for her to do in his honour.
Charging forward, Katie screamed with rage as she tackled Issacs from behind and repeatedly stabbed him in the back of the head with her wrist blade. She wrenched her K-BAR from his head, repeatedly stabbing him in the tumor on his chest until he threw her off his back, where she landed beside Ryan's lifeless body.
"Looks like Nii-chan is... now gone!" Issacs sneered, failing to notice that she was holding the detonator in her hand, ready to set off the charges that Ryan seemed to have placed. She quickly noticed that the half dozen small charges were actually stuck to Issacs' chest and legs, all of them with a red light on them that matched the one on the detonator in her hand.
Despite the safe distance that she was from Issacs, Katie dove for cover as she pressed down the button, which gave a single beep before Issacs suddenly exploded into messy bloody chunks, causing her to slam against the wall from the shockwave. Alice dove behind a nearby couch just in time.
Once the blast and debris settled down, both Katie and Alice checked to see if Issacs was truly dead, but all that was left of him was a black circle of blood and a few burning chunks of his tentacles. Alice quickly ran over to Katie, taking the stairs two at a time until she fell to her knees beside Ryan's body.
Despite her usually serious, determined face, Alice burst into tears at the sight of his lifeless body sprawled out at the top of the stairs. Despite their grand plan, the Anti-Virus, and even the surprising assistance from the White Queen... He was dead.
Katie cried and cried, having now lost her last remaining piece of her humanity, her last remaining family member, her last shred of hope in the world forsaken by Umbrella. It was all their fault! it was their fault she was a B.O.W! It was their fault the planet was full of zombies! It was their fault that Ryan was dead!
Alice wiped the tears away from her face, then put her arms around Katie's shoulders, only to suddenly jump back as Katie's body was surrounded by enraged flames. Katie suddenly screamed at the top of her lungs, throwing her head back in anguish. To Alice, who herself had lost many due to the T-Virus, Katie was beyond heartbroken.
"Katie, c'mon, we can't stay here. We have to go back to Claire and the others to tell them he's dead." Alice said gently, keeping her distance due to the flames around Katie. "We can't do anything for him anymore."
Katie suddenly extinguished her flames and pulled the last remaining dose of the Anti-Virus from her belt. "Yes there is!" She stated. "We can make sure he died a human, and that he stays that way!" She thrust the syringe into his arm and pressed down the plunger, emptying the glowing green contents with a final, single tear landing beside the spot where the needle punctured his pale skin.
Alice watched as Katie released her iron grip from the syringe and slowly stood up before turning on her heel and sprinting down the stairs and through the holes in the wall, her footsteps fading away as she returned to the surface.
Alice gave Ryan's face one final stare, then knelt down and closed his eyes respectfully before she suddenly swooped down and kissed his lips. A tear ran down her cheek as she whispered. "I loved you... Ryan." She quickly wiped the tear away and followed after Katie to the surface.
