Sorry that I wasn't able to update yesterday! I really wanted to but Sunday was a very busy day for me and I was exhausted. But I do want to thank everyone who is still favoriting and following my story!

Jules was glad she had chosen a dress that was comfortable and didn't confine her still expanding belly, because she was already in an uncomfortable situation with the seating arrangements.
"Auntie, Baby!" Izzy screamed then placed her little hand on Jules belly.
"Yeah! there's a baby in there." Jules replied.
The gala was a formal event and Jules was already becoming physically uncomfortable because she had already been sitting for over an hour as the team sat around the table and talked.
"Jules your quiet, you okay?" Ed asked and Sam turned his body a bit to see Jules with her hand on her belly and Izzy tapping on her belly.
"Yeah I'm good." Jules lied.
"Izzy, what did I say about bugging your auntie?" Sophie asked her daughter.
"Not to, because auntie Jules might not like it." Izzy replied to her mother with a pouty face.
...*.*...
The evening was going good and dinner was currently was being served.
"So Spike any woman in your life?" Sam asked.
Spike scowled Sam "No!" Spike screamed which caused the team to burst out laughing.
Dinner had been finally served fl team ones table and everyone had dug in immediately, Jules didn't eat a lot and Sam could see she was squirming in her seat.
Sam whispered something into Marissas ear, obviously she didn't like what she heard because she scowled at him just like spike had done.
Sam stood up and walked over to Jules "Here, come with me." Sam whispered into Jules ear and helped her stand up.
Sam placed his hand on Jules lower back and walked her outside of the venue.
"Sam what are we doing out here?" Jules asked confused.
"I could tell you were getting uncomfortable, and I didn't want you getting contractions." Sam replied.
"Thank you." Jules said then walked around a bit with her hands on her belly.

"So...Marissa how's married life to Samtastic?" Spike asked noticing that Marissa had become quite and he kind of wanted to poke at her since he still disliked her.
"Good, He's perfect. I couldn't ask for anything else." Marissa replied.
After several minutes Jules walked back to the teams table with Sam behind her.
No one mentioned anything as the speakers squealed and someone was up at the podium.
"Welcome to our annual police gala, where today we will be honoring one of SRUs officer." The head chief of the police department stated and everyone stood and applauded.
Jules was getting nervous about going up and receiving her plaque and medal, but mostly she was nervous about her speech.
"Today we will be honoring a woman who has defined how we as police officers looks at woman who do our jobs, She has been with the sru for many years and has worked harder than anyone to prove herself time and time again, but most importantly she's going to be venturing into new territory. Please stand up and join me in honoring our police officer of the year Miss Julianna Callaghan."
Everyone stood up and cheered and Jules stood and hugged her team member and Greg hooked his arm around Jules and then helped her and walked her to the stage.
Jules walked up and shook the chiefs hand and she was given a plaque and a medal with an inscription.
Jules walked up to the microphone stand "First off I want to Thank you Sarge" Jules turned to her boss "you have been my rock for the past years and you gave me an opportunity that otherwise I would have never been given, because of you I'm here and you have been my mentor through all this and you have literally taught me everything I know." Jules said on the verge of tears. "thank you to everyone who has had an impact in my life and career, and thank you for everything." Jules said and then walked off to get off the stage.
"Lets enjoy this party." the chief said
Jules walked off with Sarge and they both walked back to their table where Jules was congratulated by police officers.

Sam had taken Marissa off to the dance floor, Sophie and Ed followed right behind. spike and Jules sat the table alone being the only ones still single.
"are you gonna keep staring at her." Marissa scowled at Sam
"Marissa, can you just not do this here. This isn't the place or time." Sam asked.
"Sam I'm your wife and your attention is on another woman, I'm pregnant and youve been checking out your ex girlfriend the whole night and I'm tired of it okay, I don't want you talking to her let alone seeing her you understand?" Marissa was telling Sam into his ear since sam pressed her to his body to keep her a bit under control.
Marissa saw Jules walk off outside again and released herself from Sam. Marissa walked behind Jules and followed her to the water fountain.
Sam hadn't seen Jules walk away so when Marissa walked off he assumed she was gonna go let some steam off until Spike told him Jules was outside.
Sam was immediately ran outside.
"Julianna!" Marissa screamed and Jules turned around and stopped.
"I need you to stop talking to Sam and I never want to hear about you and him hanging around or you to talking. I'm tired of him staring you down in front of me." Marissa screamed with her hands on her hips.
"Look, I'm pregnant and I can't do this by myself." Jules said
"I don't care anymore, I'm married to Sam not you! he's my husband and he has a responsibility to me and our daughter you understand."
Jules stayed quite and was about to cry but she held it in.
Sam could see and hear Marissa scream at Jules and he rushed to them.
"Marissa what are you doing?" Sam asked and was shocked to see Jules pale and ready to pass out.
"Jules you okay?" Sam asked going to her side and helping her sit on the rim of the fountain.
"This is what I'm talking about, I don't want any of this going on between you two" Marissa screamed.
"Marissa calm down and please go back inside I'll be in in a bit." Sam asked Marissa only to receive a death glare.
"You can go in whenever you want, but I'm leaving." Marissa responded.
Sam watched as Marissa walked off and he turned his attention bafk to Jules who was breathing heavily and had her hand on her belly.
Sam debated whether or not to follow Marissa or to stay with Jules who was obviously a bit shaken up.
