EPOV:
"Hi," she says before looking at me. "Emily this is..." she starts but struggles to finish her sentence, and I decide to finish Paige's sentence for her…
"Alison." I say as I stand protectively near Paige.
"Yeah, Alison. Um, Alison this is Emily, my girlfriend," Paige says grabbing my hand, looking at me with a small smile, and I feel like I'm flying. I return the gesture, and give her hand a small squeeze.
"Hm, Paige I see you haven't lost your touch," Alison say with a little grin, raising an eyebrow. "I haven't seen you in months and this is all I get?"
Paige smiles, and dips her head then releases my hand making my heart break a little as she goes to hug Alison.
"Sorry, I was just shocked. I never expected to see you here, wait how did you get here? How did you even find me?" She asks when she breaks the hug, returning to my side.
"Oh, that's easy, I seen a video of you and Emily here. Actually that reminds me-" She's cut off by a loud cheer from behind her.
"PAIGE!"
We all look to see where the noise comes from and Paige's eyes nearly bulges out of head. Before we have time to process what's happening 3 guys comes rushing towards us and one of them picks Paige up and spins her around. I would be a little jealous if they weren't so cute and if I didn't know Paige was gay. I smile as I hear Paige's squeals.
"What are you guys doing here?" She shouts, but you can hear the excitement in her voice as she is placed down.
"Well, we're right here are because we wanted to celebrate your birthday! And we're here in Rosewood because we are going to be going to school at Rosewood High." The guy that was just holding Paige answers. He has like a mix of light brown and blonde hair, and has nice blue eyes too. Not better than Toby's blue eyes but still pretty good. His hair is short and nicely styled. He's pretty tall and I'll admit he looks good. I look at the other guys one has tanned skin and his hair looks freshly cut. He has brown eyes, and perfectly white teeth. He's pretty cute too. He's a little taller than me but not by much. I look over to the other one. He has short black hair that's also style. His eyes are like a pale bluish-green color. He's about the same height as the blondish-brown hair guy but looks to be a little taller. He has a perfect chiseled jaw, and something about him just screams excitement, with a hint of danger.
I look at Alison who has a small smile on her face that looks pretty ginuwine, as she watches Paige.
A moment later Paige is by my side again with a goofy grin on her face after hugging the guys.
"Em, this is Jason," she points to the guy with the blondish-brown hair, "who's Alison brother, and Ben," she points to the tanned skin boy, "a friend of ours," she says and points to the last guy with the dark hair, "and that's Noel. Guys this is my girlfriend Emily." She says smiling a me, with that sparkle in her eyes again.
"Hi," I say shyly with a small smile, and wave.
"You sure know how to pick'em Paige," the guy known as Ben says checking me out a little, and I shift uncomfortably under his gaze. I feel Paige place her hand around my waist pulling me closer to her, and I snuggle into her a little, relaxing under her touch. Reveling in the fact that she's a little jealous.
"Watch it Benjamin," she says with a little growl, at Ben who puts his hands in the air surrendering.
"Woah, hey I didn't mean to offend anybody, sorry." He says smiling politely.
"Yeah, don't mind him, he's harmless." Jason says reassures me a kind smile. "It's nice to meet the girl who's been making Paige here smile in all those videos we've been seeing. Go Paily!" He cheers, and me and Paige laugh and I could've sworn I seen Alison roll her eyes, but I ignore it.
"Yeah, it's nice to know Paige isn't sleeping around with anyone and everyone in the town before we got here. I don't really care for having her one nightstand be my one nightstands, so thank you for taming the beast." Noel says playfully, but I can't help but wonder how many people Paige has actually slept with. I mean back then she was with Alison right so couldn't have been that many, right?...Right?
"Hey wait, how come you guys are moving to Rosewood?" Paige ask changing the subject with ease a she quickly glances at me from the side of her eye before looking away.
"Well, I got expelled from our old school, and my parents decided that we needed a change of scenery, and I seen those videos of you and your girl here and decided why not go somewhere new, but to spent it with someone old? I offered up Rosewood, and my parents were shocked but decided that we could do a small town. Ben, was getting sick of our school so he decided he'd move with me, and as for Alison and Jason…well they can explain that one to you guys," Noel explains. "Now enough catching up and let's party!"
"Wait, I want you guys to meet some friends from Rosewood too, just hold on, it'd probably take like 2 minutes. Oh, and Patricks here too so I'll get him as well," Paige pleas. They agree to meet our friends, and we walk around to search for them.
Minutes later we finally get everyone in one spot for the introduction. We found a quiet room with no one in it, and once everyone's settled, Paige begins.
"Hey so guys these are Emily and my friends. The tipsy perky blonde is Hanna, she loves shopping and can be pretty blunt, the guy next to her is her boyfriend Caleb, he's really great at killing zombies but you know not better than me of course. The really adorable shortie with the big eyes, is Aria she's really talented she does art, photography, and just a lot of stuff. She's like the Switzerland in the group when everyones arguing, but I feel like she likes me more. Next to her is Hastings, who is almost as athletic and smart as me. Her first name Spencer though. She tries to protect those whom she loves dearly, and she's can actually be a bit brutally honest, and will be suspicious of you guys for like a week or 2. Next to her is her boyfriend Toby, who Alison and Jason you guys might remember. He was a great childhood friend and although he still sucks at killing zombies, he makes up for it in basketball so Noel you might have some competition ! And there's Pru but she's not here, she had to go visit some family, but I'll introduce you guys later. Sadly, Patrick left early, because he has a class in the morning." Paige finishes off releasing a huge breath before reaching for my hand and smiling at me a little.
"Toby, I can't believe you go to Rosewood! It's so great to see you, man" Jason says holding a hand out to Toby who shakes it and they smile at each other in return.
"Yeah, it's been a long time," He nods.
"Okay so guys, these were some of my closest friends back in Maine. First up is Noel, who's the tallest out of us all. He's a bit trouble but if you get to know him he's actually a decent guy. He's a really great basket player, and lacrosse player. Next is Ben he got an annulment and live by himself. He actually if more of the swimmer, and track type. He can be a pretty funny guy but there are times where his mouth doesn't seem to have a filter, so consider yourselves warned, and feel free to hit him because to be honest he needs it sometimes. Next up is pretty boy Jason. He's like a 2nd brother to me. He actually listens, and will tell you if you're wrong. He taught me how to play the drums when I was little, and I taught him how to swim a bit. He's a decent swimmer, but he's more of a track, and football kind of guy. Last but not least is-"
"Alison," Alison says interrupting Paige which I notice makes Hanna frown a little bit. I also notice how Spencer keeps looking at her like she's trying to figure something out, and I practically feel the wheels turn in her head. It takes a second but I can tell she's finally figured it out who exactly Alison is.
"You're the ex-girlfriend." Spencer states glaring a little, and straightening her stance and just like that Hanna and Aria tense up, and Toby and Caleb stand up straighter as they all eye Alison whose face appears to be masked. But before she can respond Paige speaks up trying to ease the tension a little.
"Well, yeah, and the best friend," she says kindly giving Alison a small smile, before looking to me. Our eyes connect and I can tell she's worried that I might start to think she wants Alison back. I squeeze her hand softly and give her a soft smile.
"Yeah, the best friend who cheated on her while they were together," Spencer hisses, and Paige and I give her a pointed look. I may not like the girl, like at all but I don't think that Spencer should have just thrown something like that into both Paige and Alison's face. I know it still stings a little for Paige, and it's not something she'd probably cared to think about on her birthday, at her own party.
"Oh, so you've been telling them about me yeah?" Alison asks Paige with a little smirk, thats starting to really irritate me. "Couldn't keep me off you're mind, cookies?"
Which made Paige smile and roll her eyes, "how could I ever, cream?" she said dramatically. Spencer had look of disbelief on her face and just when she was about to say something, Alison beat her to it.
"Down dog," she said to Spence making the rest of the girls frown at her, and Spencer and Toby glare at her, but Alison just rolls her eyes as if she couldn't care less. "Yes, I'm the ex-girlfriend, yes I'm the one who cheated, yes I'm the one who hurted her, repeatedly. And yes, I feel bad horrible even, but Paige and I have managed to move past it. And Emily, if you're wondering yes I'm absolutely in love with Paige, I mean it's hard not to be with the way she treated me, and the way she's in bed because let me tell you, she's got a magical tongue. She even does this thing where-"
"Is there some kind of point you're trying to make Ally?" Jason snaps taking us all a bit by surprise.
"Geesh, keep your panties on will you, I just got sidetracked a little," she says to Jason with an innocent face, before turning to look directly at me, and I feel Paige tightening her arms around me, only making me realize throughout Alison's whole speech how angry I was that I had slipped my arm around Paige's waisted and was holding her so tightly that half of her was practically molded into me. I loosen my grip a little, still keeping my arm around her though, as I glared at Alison. "My point is, that I'll always love her. Just like I know she'll always love me, I mean we were each other's first everything. But I see she's with you now, and I see you make her happy, and I wouldn't want to ruin her happiness."
I see Paige smiles proudly at Alison, who smiles kindly in return.
"Okay, I think that's enough love stuff and tension for today, how about we just enjoy our girl Paige's big day and have fun?" Noel suggests and we all nod our heads in agreement.
"I'm with Noel, besides, I'm suppose to be beating the birthday girl in pool right now." Caleb says with a grin at Paige who smirk cockily in return, with a raised eyebrow.
"Wouldn't be too sure about that if I were you," she smiles.
And like that everyone starts to breakaway. I'm following Paige when I feel a tug on my arm, and I turn around to find Alison, with a different kind of facial expression on her.
"But make no mistakes, as soon as I see her unhappy, or that you've hurt her in anyway, I will take her from you without hesitation, and no remorse." She hisses, before releasing me and going over to get a drink.
"That bitch," I growl, sending a glare Alison's way before going to find Paige.
