Chapter 21

A/N: Hey my little yaoi kittens I'm back with the final chapter of this story, if you read the last chapter, it's pretty obvious what's going to happen in this one, well that's all I had to say and I guess I'll see you all in the next authors note.

Ciel groaned and trembled slightly as he allowed his eyes to slowly open," huh? Where...am I?" The last thing the young demon remembered was seeing Sebastian, then everything went dark.
He winced slightly when he looked around the room he was in, he felt his chest and found bandages wrapped around him, suddenly the door to the room opened with a small creak.

Sebastian had walked in the room holding a cup of water; he gasped when he saw the boy was finally awake, he set the cup on the counter next to the bed and hugged the boy," Ciel, you had me so worried," Sebastian whispered," what happened Sebastian? Why am I all bandaged up? And how long have I been asleep?" Ciel asked," you used that attack, remember, after you used it, it made so many wounds that you almost died, so I brought you to the castle do you could rest."
" And how long have I been resting," Ciel was a little worried to here the answer," it has been a week," Sebastian said," really, I've been asleep for that long, wait, where's my brother?" Ciel stated as he tried to get up, but wincing again when he swung his legs over the bed," be careful, your not fully healed yet," Sebastian said, trying to keep his mate from moving any more," I need to know what happened to my brother," Ciel said, trying to ignore the pain as he shakily stood.

Ciel fell to his knees and Sebastian helped the young cat demon up and then pick him up bridal style and carried him out of the room.

" Put me down Sebastian, i don't need your help to walk," Ciel blushed when he was suddenly picked up," I told you, you weren't fully healed so stop struggling," Sebastian said as he walked into the foyer where Alois and Claude were standing talking with each other.

Alois turned and saw his brother awake and smiled," you're finally awake! You had me so worried Ciel," Alois said as he hugged him, being careful not to re-open any healing wounds.
" You really did have us worried," Claude said as he put a hand on the boy's head and smiled down at him," by the way, the king wishes to speak with you, alone," Claude stated; Ciel gave a nod and began walking toward the throne room of the castle.

Ciel silently opened one of the double doors, then closed behind him and saw Satan sitting at his throne with his head resting in one hand," come over here Leviathan," he motioned for Ciel to come closer; Ciel did as asked and walked slightly closer and got down on one knee before him.
Satan chuckled at the action and stood from his throne and walked over to the boy," I thought I told you, you don't need to be so formal with me," he said with a small smile; Ciel gave a nod and stood, looking him in the eye," you did very well, I didn't think a fledgling like yourself would be able to accomplish something like that," Ciel smiled at the praise he was getting," thank you," he said," I'm raising your status to Archedemon, you do know what one is don't you?" he stated; Ciel nodded," isn't one of the higher ranks given to demons, it's just like an archangel," Ciel stated," exactly, it's very rare for a demon to get this status, so you should be very proud," Satan explained; Ciel gave a nod once again and turned to leave the throne room, when he stop just before reaching for the door and ran back over to Satan and hugged him, which shocked the king," thank you sir," his shocked expression melted into a small smile as he put a hand on the young demons head.

Ciel let go and waved to the king before leaving the room; Satan simply chuckled to himself and sat back down on his throne," such an interesting little one," he said to himself as he rested his head in the palm of his hand once again.

" Ciel, what happened?" Alois asked," Satan praised me for ending the war," Ciel explained," did anything else happen," the incubus asked, Ciel nodded," he said he raised my status to Archedemon," Ciel stated; Sebastian and Claude were both shocked by this, while Alois seemed calm, as if it happened everyday," you managed to get the highest title that easily, it took us years to get it," Sebastian said; Ciel just shrugged," well I'm still happy for you Ciel," Alois said putting his arm around his brothers shoulder and smiling at him.
The young cat demon smiled at his brother and said," yeah, this never really wouldn't have happened if we hadn't met Sebastian and Claude again."
