Chapter 21

Morgan's POV

5pm, Morgan and Ash's House.

I walked through the house trying to find Ash, when I finally find her she is lying on her front face down reading a magazine and I went to take it off of her she gripped a hold of it and glared at me. I raised my eyebrows at her behaviour, come on she still can't be mad about earlier?

"Come on baby, your still mad at me from earlier?" I asked her and she mhmed as she carried on reading the magazine, I kissed the back of her neck making her shiver. I smirked at the effect I had on her. "Ashy, you can't stay mad at me and we both know that," I said and she shivered before turning around and pressing her lips against mine making me startled at the confidence she had.

But yet again, she always had this much confidence. I kissed her back before pulling away when I heard someone walking around in the house. I grabbed my gun from the left-hand side of the bed, Sydney was in bed so it couldn't have been her as she would've come straight to our room to tell us that she is getting something. Ash also grabbed her gun and I helped her up.

She stuck it outside the door before walking out and I was right on her trail, when we walked down we were met with Gideon and the rest of the team standing there. I sighed in relief but damn that was close, "What are you guys doing here?" Asked Ash putting her gun down on the worktop. Hotch just smirked and I knew instantly there was something he was going to say.

"You two live together now?" He asked and Ash closed her eyes and crossed her arms at the same time.

"Yes but only till I get my house back, my sister decided to sell it." She stated venomously,

"Oh, sure," Said JJ and Ash looked over at her with a raised eyebrow. "Anyway, we're heading out we are wondering if you guys wanted to come?" She asked. Me and Ash looked at each other.

"Sydney's still here but I can get Alisha to come over and look after her," Ash said and I nodded, she left the room to go call her.

"You've got a great woman there Derek, keep a hold of her," Said Hotch and I nodded as I looked back to see Ash coming back in.

"She said she would be happy to do it," Ash said wrapping her arms around my back and kissing my cheek. I smiled before nodding at her and looking back at the team. "We'll meet you guys there, we have to wait for Alisha to get here." Said, Ash, as she unwrapped her arms from me and the team nodded before leaving the house the same way they came in.

I turned round to face her and she wrapped her arms around my neck, I leaned down and brushed my lips against hers "Go get ready mama, I'll wait for Alisha," I said and she nodded before pressing her lips into a thin line and pressing them against mine in a swift kiss before walking away.

Ash's POV

I walked up to our room and got changed into a black cut out dress, with some black heels and my silver necklace, I kept on the bracelet that I got from Sydney and pushed the promise ring I got from Derek onto my fourth finger, my ring finger. I pulled my hair back and started to curl it, that took almost 10 minutes when I heard Derek talking to someone which I presumed to be Alisha.

I walked downstairs to see Alisha standing there with a big smile on her face and talking to Derek, Her arms were crossed over her stomach and that's when she noticed me and gave me a smile. I walked up beside Derek and linked my arm through his, "Thanks for agreeing to look after Sydney, it means a lot," I said smiling at her.

"Anytime A, You know that," She said and I smiled before hugging her tight and then walking out the door with Derek, I watched as she shut the door and we headed down to his car. Derek linked our fingers together as we walked, and also pressed a kiss to my temple. We got into the car and drove to the bar that JJ texted me, while I was upstairs getting changed.

There was music playing in the background as we drove silently to the new bar downtown, nothing could prepare us for what happened next. A car came rushing down the road with police cars right behind him and ploughed straight into the left-hand side of the car, where I was sitting. We spun until we hit a building and that's when I blacked out.

Hotch's POV

We were at the club waiting for Derek and Ash to get here when I get a phone call from DC Metropolitan Police. "Hotchner?" I said standing outside now.

"Hi Hotch, It's Marcus we've got a problem. We need you downtown from the new club. ASAP" He said and I sighed before saying we'll be there.

"Guys!" I shouted and they all turned to look at me.

"We have to go, Downtown here. DC Metropolitan police have a problem," I said as we all walked to the SUV. They all grumbled and grunted as they got in including Reid and Gideon.

"We better call Morgan and Rosie," Said Reid, going for his phone and calling one of them and putting it on speaker.

Hi, this is Agent Ash Rosie I can't take this call at the moment so if it's important please call me back.

"She's not answering," Said Reid and we all nodded, Ash always answered her phone for us so this was quite confusing.

We pulled up at the accident where there was already an ambulance, someone getting arrested and a car had ploughed into a building at the other side the road. I walked over to Marcus. "What happened?" I asked.

"We were chasing after a known drug dealer, and it was a red light for the street we were chasing on and a car pulled out from where the green light was and his car crashed into the left-hand side of the victim's vehicle." Said Marcus.

"You know who the victims are?" I asked.

"That's the problem Aaron, it's Ash and Derek," He said and I looked over at them.

"Who's worse?" I asked.

"Derek's fine, Ash's is in and out of consciousness, She's in a bad state Aaron. She was on the side that he hit into," He said pointing at the guy that had crashed into Morgan's car.

"What's going on?" Asked the rest of the team coming up beside me.

"Ash and Morgan were in an accident," I said walking past all of them to get to the ambulance Ash was in. I could feel that my team were in shock and in horror at the same time. They were also glaring at someone but I didn't know who cause all I cared about was getting Ash to the hospital and Derek checked out as he was to damn stubborn. I walked over to Morgan's ambulance first.

"I want to see Ash, Hotch and they aren't letting me." He said trying to get the stuff out of his arm.

"Let them, Morgan, I've got Ash, you've just been in an accident and you're in a delayed sense of shock," I said walking away and I got into Ash's ambulance, she was conscious. "Hey," I said as I got into the ambulance.

"How's Morgan?" She asked, her voice all croaky.

"He's fine Ash, He's just being to damn stubborn and won't get checked out," I said and she nodded before starting to go back to sleep.

"She's losing consciousness again!" Shouted the doctor before she totally blacked out.
