NO I'M NOT DEAD... Physically. In every other sense of the term, that's up for debate.

This noncanon "Extra" more than explains where I've been, what I've been doing (also what I haven't), and my plans for the future.

Chapter title comes from the comment I get from my boyfriend all the time whenever Team Syspeiro are around and I make comments about them blinking or whatever. Since real life snakes apparently don't have eyelids.

But this is Pokémon so I can make an exception here.

"Valissssa! Valissssa!"

Kakorio slithered quickly into the tunnel leading to Valissa's bedroom. He stopped abruptly at the blanket used as a makeshift door to her bedroom, which he promptly toppled into and tumbled through, getting himself caught in it.

Valissa sat up in her bed, eyes wide. "KAKORIO! What the hell are you doing!?"

"AAH! I'm ssstuck I'm ssstuck!" He flailed around in the blanket, only trapping himself further in it.

Getting up off her bed, she went to him and glared down, crossing her vines. "You better have a good reason for barging into my room like this."

"Sseeking Luminesssencsse is coming back!" he shouted, looking up at her with a grin and look of childlike wonder in his eyes.

"…What?"

"Sseeking Lumin-" he began to repeat, though she quickly cut him off.

"What the hell is that? What are you even talking about?"

"The ssstory about usss!" Kakorio replied. "Well, actually it'sss only the firssst part of the ssstory. There'sss actually two partsss-"

Valissa blinked. "What 'story'? There's no story about us. Even if there was, we'd all know who the main character would be," she smirked a bit. "Anyway, how did you find this out? Is Oura playing a stupid trick on you?"

"Well the main character is actually Cssendre…" he mumbled.

"Who?"

"B-but, the ssstory'sss back! The writer got the worssst writer'sss block imaginable, plusss ssschool took up all her spare time. Chapter 19 wasss really hard for her to finisssh. But now ssshe'sss back to writing, and the ssstory'sss gonna update oncsse a week again!"

"What?" Valissa narrowed her eyes, though after a moment sighed and lightened her expression to just a regular frown. "Whatever. So what exactly does that mean for me?"

"It meansss you're gonna be featured in chaptersss again! Along with me, and all the other charactersss!"

She sighed. "Wonderful. Why can't I just be in it?"

"If it makesss you feel any better, the writer was thinking about giving usss a backssstory ssspinoff…"

"NO! No, no, no!" she screamed. "If any story is going to feature me, it will be a present-and-or-future day story of me, when I'm rich and famous!"

"U-um…"

"This is stupid, Kakorio. If this is what you wanted to tell me so badly, it was a waste of your time." She slithered around him to the door. "Have fun getting yourself out of that blanket."

"W-wait! V-Valissssa!" he called out to her as she slithered away from him. "Pleassse don't leave me here! Help me!"

She poked her head back in the room. "What's in it for me?"

"Becausssse you care about me and also I didn't tell you have a lot of fansss who love you, including the writer herssself."

"Oh…?" she smiled. "Is that so? I have fans?"

He quickly nodded.

She went to him and started getting him freed from the blanket. "Why didn't you just start off with that? That's news I like to hear."

He smiled, blushing a bit. "Th-thanksss…"

"Tell me more about these fans, if you don't mind."

"I-I'd love to."
