Hello everyone. This is a very sad time that has come, and that is that this story is coming to an end. It has been a pleasure to write this story for everyone and I hope that everyone enjoyed this story. I will definitely miss writing this story but unfortunately every story has to come to an end and because I have already planned the ending of this, I didn't want to make any changes to the chapters.

So here it is everyone, the very last chapter of Big Time Injection. Hope you all enjoy.

James's P.O.V

Everyone in the room looked at me. I had to make my decision. I couldn't have any of my friends or family hurt. So I had to agree.

"Fine. I'll join your pack. But as long as you promise you will NOT hurt anyone." I said.

"James you know you don't have to do this." Said Carlos. I turned to face him.

"I do. I can't have anyone hurt because of me. If I do join Hawk's pack, then he might teach me how to control myself so then I don't have to worry about hurting anyone. I have no choice." I said.

"Well what about Big Time Rush? I thought it was your dream to become a popstar." Said Kendall.

"You're either gonna have to continue it without me, or just end the group. And I still love the fame, but safety of you guys is more important."

"We're not continuing Big Time Rush without you. Not after all these years. Please don't leave us." Said Logan. Before I could say anything, Hawk interrupted.

"Jamez made up his mind. He is going to join my pack and leave you three idiots forever. You're not gonna change this," we all remained silent, "we will leave in the morning. You all will meet me on the hill." Hawk exited the room with Mark.

"So, you're going then." Said Katie. I could tell she was very sad I was leaving.

"Yeah." I said. She came to me for a hug.

"I'm gonna miss you." She said.

"I'm gonna miss you too." I said.

"I still can't believe you're going." Said Kendall. After that we were silent for about 5 minutes. It was already 7:30 pm. We had so little time left before we were going to separate. So we had to make it the best time possible.

The five of us decided to go for a walk. We walked to the palm woods park. We talked about all of our amazing memories the whole time we walked to the park. When we got there, we found a great spot to hang out. Just the five of us. The five of us whom created a family since the first time we met. Even if Katie was a little kid, she was like a sister to me. A sister I never had. Logan was my smart, awesome, funny and fun-loving brother which I would never forget. Carlos and I have so much in common. We're both goofy, we're the Hollywood super party kings of Hollywood, we both liked playing with food and loads more. He was my little brother I will always love. And then there's Kendall. He was and still is a brother since the beginning. He was there when no one else was. If I never had him by my side, I have no idea what I would be doing. He saved my life. And now I will never have any of them any more because of that stupid night I decided to go out. I wish that night never happened. Well at least I will still be here by heart. I will never forget anyone.

(9:30 pm)

Kendall's P.O.V

We've been talking for two hours now. These were the fastest two hours ever. I'm gonna miss James so much. I'm gonna miss his goofiness, his personality, him. Life is going to be so much different without him. He's been a brother to me. And I've known him longer than any of the guys. It all started with hockey.

(Flashbacks)

14 years ago

Still Kendall's P.O.V

I was skating on the icing rink with all my team mates. We had a match tomorrow and we had to win to impress our coach. Not only did we have a match tomorrow but also we had a new team mate. I didn't know his name or anything. All I know is that he was really good at hockey. He scored most of our goals this practice.

I wasn't looking where I was skating so I bashed into a wall. I fell of my skates and onto my bum. I saw someone skate over to me to help me out. It was the new kid. He held out his hand and I took it for support.

"Thanks." I said with a smile. He smiled back.

"My pleasure," he said, "my name is James by the way." He added.

"I'm Kendall. It's nice to meet you. You're really good, just saying."

"Thanks. It's nice to meet you too. Hey, how about we become friend?" He said. These words changed my life.

"Best friends." I said and smiled. He smiled back. Suddenly the whistle blew.

"Less chatting more playing. We have a big match tomorrow and you all don't want to let me down." Yelled the coach. Though he did teach five year olds, he still was pretty mean. But without him we wouldn't be that good.

(end of flashback)

The words 'hey, how about we become friends' never made me so happy. James was my first real friend. Since then we did everything together. Then we met Carlos and Logan and our lives were even merrier. I cannot believe that our friendship was coming to a close. Well to one thing for sure is that this has been the most beautiful 14 years of my life. I will never forget him.

(the next day, dawn)

No one's P.O.V

The day has come. The day where Jams had to leave everything behind to not hurt anyone. Everyone who knew about James's secret were devastated. They could not believe that's today was going to change their life's for ever.

The boys woke up from their shared rooms. They changed into their clothes in silence. They walked to the kitchen where Mama Knight made breakfast. It just seemed like another normal morning for all of them but it wasn't. After about 15 minutes of silence, Logan broke it.

"Life isn't gonna be the same without you, you know." Everyone still remained silent.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for leaving all of you. I'm going to miss you, big time." Said James.

"We understand you want to keep us safe." Said Mama Knight. The family finished their breakfast and cleaned up. They were ready to go to the hill to say their last goodbyes.

After about 5 minutes of getting ready, they al exited the apartment 2J in misery. They made their way to the lobby and to the exit. No one was in the lobby this early so they had time for themselves.

They exited the Palm Woods and headed to the hill.

Gustavo and Kelly were already there when the 2J family arrived. Hawk and Mark were standing by the edge looking straight at them.

"You're finally here. I was getting worried you might have ditched me," said Hawk. All 6 of them walked to Gustavo and Kelly, " so, we can go now."

"Can we at least say goodbye, please." Asked James. Hawk sighed.

"Fine, but make this quick. We don't have much time. The pack is already waiting."

"So I guess this is the end then." Said Kendall.

"Yeah. I'm going to miss you so, so much. Nothing is going to be the same without you guys." Said James.

"How about we sing our last song together? To make this moment special." Suggested Carlos.

"Of course. But what song?" Said James.

"Maybe the song that started all this?" Said Kendall The boys smiled in reply. They all started singing the last chorus of the song which started this special journey.

"Go and shake it up!
Whatcha gotta lose?
Go and make your luck with the life you choose,
If you want it all,
Lay it on the line.
It's the only life ya got,
So ya gotta live it big time!" They all sang. They started getting teared up but they had to stay strong, even if it meant that they saw their best friend for the last time.

"Goodbye." Whispered James.

"Goodbye." Whispered the others in unison. James turned around and walked to Hawk. He turned to look back for the last time at his friends and then ran off. The 2J family were still standing in the sunrise. They then heard a howl. And they knew exactly who it came from.

They decided to howl back.

"Goodbye." All they said before going back to their apartment.

And this is the whole journey of four ordinary hockey players from Minnesota became worldwide famous pop stars coming to a melancholy end.

It started with a big time, and ended with a howl.

I will literally cry. This was so sad to write. And I hope everyone enjoyed this story. I am sadly not planning to make a sequel so please don't ask for one. So this is also the very last authors note on this story. I'm really going to miss this story so for now, take care and goodbye. :-) 3
