"Wyatt!" Callie screamed, "You haven't told me why your back!"
Callie proceeded to walk back to the house. "Oh great," She thought, "I'm being sent to a group home and now Wyatts back without reason." She climbed through a window that was attached to Brandon's room. It was how all of them got out at night. There was a metal ladder that was camouflaged in ivory. She crawled up and squeezed through the window and landed in the empty bedroom. Callie then tiptoed through the hallway, into the room, and snuggled under the covers masking herself as asleep. Even though she was pretending to be asleep, her mind was wide awake and racing with thoughts.
Why did Wyatt come back?
Why did he leave suddenly?
Should she tell Brandon?
Her mind couldn't stop so she took some of the pills the doctor prescribed for her anxiety. Callie then started to drift off and before she knew it, was fast asleep in her beautiful dreams.
The sound of piano drifted through the small house as a mother prepared dinner. The tune was supposed to be played to yankee doodle dandy but the little boy sitting at the instrument kept on missing notes. He wanted to live up to his father's legacy with playing piano and at only four years old he already could read sheet music. His father then sat next to him as he watched the little guy struggling.
"Here." He smiled. The dad placed his hands on his sons and pressed down the right keys. The small child soon lost interest, as he would rather hear his beloved dad play. "Play a song for me daddy." He demanded. Upon request the father played a magical tune that filled the whole house with joy.
Callie awoke to the feeling of her body being shaken. She groaned, wanting a couple of more minutes.
"Callie? Can we talk?" Callie recognized that voice as Stef's. She wanted to shake her head no because that the last thing she wanted to do was talk to Stef, but sensing the desperateness in Stef's voice she nodded sleepily.
Callie threw on a sweater and walked down to the porch where Stef was sitting. Callie sat there crossing her arms and staring at the freshly mowed lawn.
"I wanted to say I'm sorry." Stef paused, " I was just thinking the best thing for you and the baby was to raise it in a group home."
Callie was angered by that comment, "You think I would want to raise my baby under someone elses rules? Do you actually believe that I wouldn't want to raise this baby with Brandon? I never had the love of two parents!" Callie yelled at her.
"But Callie you do have the love of two parents!" Stef said.
"I hardly call sending me to a group home is love." Callie spat. "I was supposed to trust you! You were supposed to protect me and love me!" Tears then started spilling out, quiet whimpers turned to heavy sobs. Stef wrapped her arms tightly around her.
"Your right. I'm sorry. We're not going to send you to a group home. You and Brandon are going to decide what to do." She whispered even though she didn't want to. The thought of being a grandmother at age forty scared her to death. She still couldn't believe her first baby was going to have a child of his own. Callie continued to cry into Stef's shoulder, getting out what anger she had been holding on to for the past eight years. Stef continued to whisper "It'll be ok." In her hair as she rocked Callie back and forth. Callie craved this love. The love from a mother.

Callie was so fed up Wyatt, so she pulled out her phone and gave him a message.
C: Can we meet up later?
W: I'm not sure that is smart.
C: What? Why?
W: Fine I'll meet you at the beach in fifteen.
With that Callie soon raced down to the beach.
As soon as she spotted his curly red hair she walked up to him and started questioning, "Why are you back?"
"When did you get knocked up?" He replied.
"I asked first." Callie stated ignoring the rude comment.
"Fine you want to know the real reason I'm back?" Callie nodded, "You." He said bluntly.
"Me?"
"Yea, I thought maybe if I came back I'd have a chance. I realize how stupid it sounds, I mean now you are pregnant with I am assuming Brandons baby. I was confused Callie."
"I'm sorry I can't help you with that. I have enough issues on my own, I don't need nor want another love interest. Brandon and I are dealing with enough right now."
"I'm sorry. I'm going to leave. If you ever want someone to talk to, I think I'm going to stay for a while." Callie nodded and left Wyatt on the beach. She needed to get to Brandon to talk to him about what his mothers said and maybe about Wyatt's reappearance. She needed to start telling the truth. She had learned the only way their relationship will last is if she is completely honest with him. Even though it sucked sometimes telling the truth, it helped a lot. She opened the door to Brandon's dad's apartment, knowing his dad always forgot to lock it. She hadn't been in here before so she didn't know which bedroom was Brandon's but soon realized it was the one with the blaring music sneaking out through the crack in the door. Callie proceeded to enter and Brandon's eyes lit up with complete joy as he saw sight of Callie's face.
"Callie!" He smiled, then grasped her face and crashed his lips into hers. She forgot how sweet it was to have him on her lips. They stood there glued to each other missing each others company. After a couple of minutes Callie pulled away.
"I want to talk to you." She whispered.
"Um ok," Brandon says motioning to the bed.
"The mom's wanted to send me to a group home." Brandon's face then turns to extreme rage, "But," Callie says before he freaks out, "They've decided not to after a lot of fighting between us." Brandon lets out a sigh of relief.
"I swear if they did-"
"Brandon, they're your parents they make mistakes. I would've been fine even if they did send me there." Callie says trying to keep him calm.
"You keep me sane, do you know that?" He smiles and Callie kisses him. They stay there for a couple minutes.
"I want to tell you something else. Wyatt's back."
"Why?" Brandon asks.
Callie takes in a deep breath, "Because of me."
"He know's he can't have you right? I mean you're not going to back to him. Callie we're expecting!"
Callie let's out a laugh, "Brandon, I love you. Not him. Anyways I told him he can't have me."
"Ok good thing I didn't lose you to the surfer dude." Callie smiles and they continue to kiss, eventually dozing off in each others arms.
