"The album 'Hearts' seems to be a big hit! The album has sold over 88,000 copies during the first two days after being released. Many of the singles are also rising the charts as we speak! It's a fact! Korra and Mako make amazing music together!"
Mako POV
"Hello listeners of RC radio! It's your boy Marc with the others of the RC radio family and today we would like to introduce Mako Anderson!" Marc said.
"Hey guys" I said into the microphone in front of me.
"Listen Mako it's great to have you in the studio today. How are you feelin'?" he asked.
"Um…I'm feeling pretty good today" I replied.
"And I can see why. Two days ago your album had sold 88,000 copies and now it's the end of the week and the album has now sold 220,000 copies! And the album is number 9 in the Billboard Top 100! Now who does that make you feel?" Marc asked.
"Well it's amazing! And I shouldn't take all the credit. Korra did help write and sing half of the album and she's great" I answered.
"Now are you guys planning on making any music videos for any of the songs?" Marc asked.
"Actually we haven't talked about it yet but I'm sure that we will" I said.
"You better! We've been getting requests all day to play songs from the album!" Marc said.
I laughed. "Yeah it's pretty cool how much people love the songs! But I think this one was better than some of my other albums because there was inspiration everywhere! And the harmonies and melodies I think were definitely on point" I said.
Marc laughed. "Now…people are already calling in with questions, so we'll take a few before continuing alright?" Marc asked.
"Alright"
Marc pressed a button before speaking again. I was just hoping there would not be any about my love life-which is ironic considering that's what the purpose of this radio interview was.
"Okay, hello you're here with Rc radio! What's your name?" he asked.
"Um…hi I'm Diana"
"Hey Diana!" I said.
The girl laughed.
"Hi Mako I love you so much! My question is, what is your favorite song from the album-oh and what song would you want to do a music video for?"
"What is your favorite song from the album and what song would you want to do a music video for?" Marc repeated.
"That's a good question…my favorite song would be…Stay because I just really like the vocals and the lyrics it's self just has so much more meaning behind them and I feel like it's such a great song. But the song I would want to do a video for I don't know. It would be any song" I said.
"I would love to see a video for the remix of your song Boyfriend. I honestly love that song and it's been stuck in my head since I heard it" Marc commented.
I chuckled slightly. "Yeah it wasn't even our idea. It was Taylor's-the guy we were recording with-idea and it was a great one and it ended up sounding amazing" I said.
"Alright let's go to the next question" Marc said.
"Hey guys! I'm Emma!"
"Hi Emma!" I said.
"I want to know when your next tour is"
"Next tour…after shooting a couple music videos so in the near future" I answered.
"Okay and last question"
"Mako I love you! Will you marry me?"
The people in the studio including myself laughed.
"Sure I'd love to but I have to know your name first" I joked.
The girl squealed.
"It's Jackie!"
"You heard it here first! Mako and Jackie are getting married!" Marc said adding laughter at the end.
"Now Mako we know that it's been a few weeks since your very public split with Korra and you've never talked about what happened specifically-if you don't want to talk about it I understand" Marc said.
I might as well clear it up since he asked about it.
"Well it was actually-air quote-kind of drove us apart and I admit I was probably over reacted on my part but I'm over it-were both over it and were friends now" I answered.
I had to make it short and simple or rumors about cheating or worse would start.
"Yeah, I saw pictures of you two having a great time at the release party" Marc stated.
"Now we know not everything you see on TV or read in a magazine it true so I wanted to ask you…" Marc started.
That's it. He was going to ask about the whole Karmin drama.
"So you have been seen numerous times with a girl named Karmin Jackson and she claims you two have some sort of 'thing' going on?" Marc questioned.
I sighed deeply. "We are NOT dating. She was a fan I met on the street. I did agree to have lunch with her but just as potential friends. She probably just took it as something it wasn't" I answered.
"Alright but would you ever dater her or a fan?" Marc asked.
"Right now I wouldn't date anyone but I would date a fan" I replied.
"You makonators can keep that dream of yours alive!" Marc said jokingly.
I laughed. "Maybe not the Mako Maniacs but if they were you know chill and nice then definitely" I quickly added.
"Well then that rules out everyone!" Marc exclaims.
"That's not true! I have normal fans!" I said a smile playing at my lips.
"Well that was all from Mako Anderson. Maybe we'll see him in the studio again!" Marc said.
"Later guys!"
Korra POV
"So about that girl…tell us everything about her!" Asami exclaimed.
Drake, Asami and I were in Asami's living room just hanging out since we had nothing to do, but tonight I did have a show to do. More promotion for the album basically.
"Her name is Kelly Ferguson and she's a dancer. She is 19 and she lives here in LA-"
"We're not asking for her bio. What is she like?" I interrupted.
"She's really nice and smells good-and she's into fashion" he said.
"Great call her! We're going to a fashion show today" Asami said.
"How are we going to get tickets to one now?" Drake asked.
Asami handed him a phone. "Don't question me. Just dial" she said.
Drake shrugged as he took the phone and dialed Kelly.
…
We sat down in the front row of the Burberry fashion show.
"I can't believe I'm at a fashion show and in the front row with celebrities!" Kelly exclaimed.
"I can't believe you got us seats so quickly Asami!" I exclaimed.
"Korra, you've known me for so long. How are you not used to this?" Asami questioned lightly.
I smiled as the lights dimmed and the music started. Soon the model one by one started to strut down the runway.
I looked over at Kelly and Drake and they were lightly chatting while enjoying the show.
"I think it's going well" I whispered to Asami with a smile.
I rolled my eyes once I noticed that Asami was too into the show to even listen to me.
…
"So how long have you been a dancer?" Asami asked Kelly.
We had left the fashion how and we were having lunch at Redemption.
"Ever since I was in elementary school and opportunities just opened up when my family moved to La when I was in middle school" she replied.
"Did you like the fashion show?" I asked.
Her eyes lit up.
"I loved it! And I got to sit in the first row!" she said excitedly.
I smiled at her cheerfulness.
"Yeah I've never been to one and it was nice" Drake commented.
"May I have you orders?" the waiter asked.
We all gave our orders; I ordered fresh grilled salmon with a side of brown rice and Coke.
We spent about an hour there and I had a great time and I'm pretty sure Kelly did too.
"We're going to watch a movie then head back to my place. We'll see you guys another time!" Drake said.
Asami and I waved to them and got into her car.
We drove to my concert venue. I was getting ready when she spoke.
"So you and Mako?" Asami asked once again. It seemed like the hundredth time she's asked that since I had met the boy.
I turned to her as I tried to slip into my jeans.
"We're friends again" I replied simply.
She smiled at me. "That's awesome! So are you…over him?" she asked.
I thought for a minute.
"I haven't really thought about him that way so I guess so" I said as I closed the button and grabbed my heels.
"What about you and Bolin?" I asked as I sat down.
"We are amazing! He's sweet and so adorable! And he's amazing in bed! I remember-"
"SPARE the details. I'm about to perform, I don't need to throw up on the first row" I said quickly.
Asami laughed as we walked over to get my makeup done.
