Hi again everyone!
I've finally published the e-book! To find it, look up Amazon books, then put in "Feona Smith, Collapse" (Collapse is the name of the book) and it should come up. It has been years in the making, but I feel, well worth it. I've learned a lot along the way. Main lesson: Writing is the easy part. Editing is tough. Getting the language and tone right is far harder than it looks.
It's somewhat dystopian, about a future that hasn't happened, but could. Not an extremely light read, though there's some lightness to it. The main character is much different from Stephanie, world-wise and confident. Here's a brief synopsis:
World trade and globalism is dead. A small college group tries to rebuild a new society from the ground up. Enne Miller is forced to navigate the collision of the two worlds, old and new, learning unexpected life lessons amid a society's rapidly changing values, in a story of survival.
If you're interested in the future and where society's heading, this is the book for you. I loaded in as much information as I can from a business point of view, to help people who are interested in preparing for the new world order and the new economy. For those who prefer to ride along without the heavy stuff, it's still entertaining.
