Ally's POV

The last thing I remembered was the anesthesiologist telling me to count down from ten and not even making it to seven. I was back in my room and I was alone. My foot was wrapped up and numb from the medication they gave me. I decided to go through some of the messages that had piled up on my phone while I was gone. I think the thing I was most happy about out of everything, was that my phone was okay, because that was a really big worry to me. For only being out of the loop for a few days, I had quite a lot of messages. Some of them were from Trish, some of them were from my friends back home, but none of them were sparking my interest. I figured I would get back to them later and I decided to take a nap, since there was nothing else to do. It felt like I had just closed my eyes when I felt a presence in the room. I smiled and opened my eyes expecting to see Austin, but got a big surprise. There was a tall dude with his hood up standing in the doorway. I tried not to freak out. I opened my mouth to ask him a question, but my voice wouldn't work. All of a sudden, I was feeling really small and weak. The guy pulled his hood off and took a step forward. The meds I was on must have been pretty strong because I couldn't make out his face, it was just a blur. Maybe it had something to do with my eyes starting to tear up.

"You sure are a lot of trouble for such a little girl." He hissed. I still couldn't make my voice work and I was repeatedly pressing the nurse button, but no one was coming to my rescue. He closed the space between himself and the bed and I shrunk down further under the blankets. Tears were flooding down my cheeks. "Maybe I should just end all of the trouble right now. For being my daughter and all, you don't seem very happy to see me," he said while tracing the tip of a pocket knife up and down the side of my face. I let out an ear shattering scream and felt hands on my arms shaking me.

"Ally! Ally wake up!" yelled a male voice. I unclenched my eyes and the scary man was gone and Jonny was in his place, sitting on the side of my bed, still holding my arms. I looked around frantically, still unsure of what was happening. "You must've been having a bad dream," he said searching my eyes to see if I was okay. I let out a sigh of relief and my whole body relaxed. My face was soaked with tears though.

"Thanks for waking me up," I croaked.

"No problem. Are you alright?" he asked me.

"Yeah, like you said, just a bad dream." He got up to get a tissue box and started wiping the tears from my cheeks. "What are you doing in here?" I asked coldly, not making eye contact while he finished drying my face.

"I really needed to talk to you," he said looking down at the floor.

"Well you're here, so talk."

"I know this probably isn't the best time but I really needed to apologize to you for what I did. This whole situation has been a reality check for me, and I know how horrible I've been to Austin too. I don't know how much he told you about our relationship, but when you guys were taken, I realized that I couldn't live without my brother in my life. In a crazy way, if it weren't for you, Austin and I would probably never be talking to each other again. And as for things between us, I know there is probably no way you can forgive what I've done, but I'm sorry and thank you." He got up to leave and I grabbed his arm and pulled him back down and wrapped my arms around his neck. He tucked his head into the crook of my neck and relaxed into the hug. I felt nothing towards him but sisterly love, and that was really comforting at the moment.
