April 1 - Asano Keigo
"They're useless," Keigo griped. "Can't do anything with that bunch, am I right? How can a guy find anything to do with an antisocial crowd like them as friends?"
The teddy bear propped up against the wall before him remained still, its beady eyes boring into the depths of his soul.
"I mean, they could at least come to the mall with me once in a while, right? I mean, yeah, Mizuiro's probably off somewhere with that pseudo-harem he's got going on, but the rest have to do something besides studying… Maybe they're off partying without me…"
The teddy bear stared.
"Nah, those dolts just don't understand the concept of leisure time," Keigo decided. "And because of them, I have nothing to do…"
Keigo sighed deeply and collapsed into the welcoming pile of stuffed animals on his bed. He had collected bears and tigers and lions from the dark recesses of a basement storage room, and then, finding that pile lacking, he even snatched his sister's random crew of piggies and bunnies and who knows what for good measure.
Thus is the mindset of a socially awkward, secretly lonely adolescent.
Keigo inhaled slowly, preparing himself for an in-depth heart-to-heart session with his soft, comforting companions. They would cover his unspoken insecurities, his trenchant frustrations, and even his most esoteric daydreams. He would never feel alone again, for he would never be without fluffy companionship.
"You see, I just feel so neglected," he began. "They're never there for me when I need them, you know? What's a guy to do when his friends are useless like this? How can I—"
His door burst open with a bang.
"Keigo, what the hell do you think you're doing with Uzuru-chan and my other friends?" roared Asano Mizuho.
"I-I can explain!" Keigo ducked instinctively, barely dodging a fist to the face.
"Trying to steal my friends, huh?" His sister ground her knuckles into his temples. "Just because you can't get a hold of any of your own, huh?"
"It's not my fault that they're all backwards weirdoes who only want books and pencils for company!" Keigo whined. "I need attention too…"
"Well, it's your fault Uzuru-chan and Kirara-chan are contaminated with your boring laziness," Mizuho accused. "They never answer anymore when I call them!"
"They're a pair of stuffed ducks!" Keigo cried unhappily. "They're not going to answer you, so just let me have them!"
Mizuho growled. "Just get out of your room and do something, you social recluse! Leave my friends out of it. Go bum around someone else's house if you're so desperate for company!"
"But Sis—"
Letting out a feral snarl, Mizuho snatched up one of Keigo's lions and lobbed it at his head.
Keigo never knew a stuffed animal could cause such pain until this moment.

Notes: I'm not sure where this one came from, to be honest. It was fun though. XD
Maybe it's because I'm being an idle teenager right now, too, just like Keigo in this scene... I'm hanging around the Internets, not my stuffed animals, though.
Thank you for reading! Next up is Yammy Llargo.
