Author's Note: New chapter! Whaddup! :)

That was an amazing night. I don't ever recall laughing so much.

Her brother and friend were the most hilarious and sweet individuals I have ever met. My inhibitions disintegrated as each second passed with them. I remember how anxious I was when the night started, but as the night was coming to an end, I wished it would start over again.

The bowling place we went to was glow in the dark. Hence, our teeth and random articles were glowing. There were some glow sticks at our centre, which the guys broke and smeared the paint on their face. They looked like football players with fluorescent lines on their cheeks. Lia tried to put some on me as well. At first I refused, but when she pouted I gave in.

"Alright it's your turn Ally" Lia said.

"Cool," I said. I got up and picked up a bowling ball. Some were too heavy for me, so I stuck to a smaller size.

"Man, I haven't been bowling in a while. I think I may be a bit rusty." I exclaimed as I positioned myself and let the ball rip from my fingers onto the lane. It practically kissed the floor while going in a straight line.

Striiike.

"Rusty, eh?" Kol teased.

Tate just grinned, along with Lia.

I sat down at our centre, as Kol got ready. Tate and I were sitting. We were silent, letting the surroundings take control of the atmosphere. It was not at all awkward, quite comforting actually.

"So, Ally what are you studying?" He asked. That broke the silence. I was quite startled.

"Oh, I'm majoring in biochem and music."

"Nice mix." He gave a toothy grin.

Uff, he's so cute.

"What about you?" I asked, lowering my eyes. I was desperately trying to look somewhere else.

"Well, currently I'm working. I got my BBA last year."

Ouu, a businessman. He must look fine in a suit. That jaw line with a white formal shirt and a bow tie. Reminds me of the time Austin wore a suit. Damn, imagine both of them in a suit. They'd be the number one cause for global warming!

"Considering MBA?" I asked, keeping the conversation going.

"Perhaps, near future."

For some odd reason, we were both just grinning. You know the kind of smile you put on when you've just met someone. That kind.

After a few more rounds, we all decided to sit down together.

Lia sat beside me, Tate in front and Kol diagonally.

"I'm tired," Lia said.

"We should order something" Kol suggested.

As if on cue, a waitress came to our table to see if we needed anything. She seemed older, as old as the guys in front of us. She definitely caught their attention.

She wore her black uniform and subtle red lipstick. Her blonde hair was tousled and we could probably smell her scent from a mile away.

She greeted us, "hey guys, can I get you something?"

"Sure," Kol said eagerly.

She handed us small menu pamphlets. We looked through them for a minute. There wasn't a large variety of options, I mean, it was basically pizza, nachos or fries.

"So what would you guys like?" She asked.

"Ladies first," Tate said.

The waitress smiled at the comment.

"Alright, girls anything I can get?"

"I'll have a cheese pizza with a blue slushie," I said.

"Damn I know this song," I exclaimed.

I just couldn't recognize the name of the song at the moment. Everyone at my table stopped whatever they were doing and strained their ears trying to figure out the name of the song.

"I can barely hear it" Tate said.

I closed my eyes and the lyrics came flowing out of my mouth. But the chorus was still unknown.

"Maybe we should ask the waitress," Kol asked. He was swooning for the waitress and practically looking for an excuse to talk to her.

"Maybe you should try asking for her name, stud" Lia played along.

"Yeah buddy, see we're all right here. Get her number," Tate encouraged Kol.

"You guys sure?"

We all nodded.

"Tate, be my wingman."

"Alright, but you have to do all the heavy lifting yourself."

The waitress came back to our table with our order.

"Hey, my friend was wondering if you knew the name of this song. It's been bothering him for ages." He gave her a dazzling smile, which I'm sure left her flustered.

The waitress strained her ears trying to hear. But I doubt she heard anything.

"I'm sorry, I can't hear the song that well." She smiled.

"Oh that's alright. What's your name?" Kol asked.

"Catherine."

"Well, thank you for our order Catherine," Kol said flirtatiously.

The waitress giggled and left our table.

The entire time, Lia and I were stifling our laughter and the moment she left, we let it rip.

The next day I woke up in the afternoon. It was so hard to sleep, mainly because I was still so damn excited from my mini-adventure. That and the fact that I finally came back to my dorm at three in the morning.

Those guys were absolutely crazy. After having our food, we grabbed dessert from a nearby fast food restaurant and went to a park.

We, the 18 (almost 19) year old and 23 year old adults sitting on swings and going down the slide. Everything seemed surreal and dreamlike. The moonlight, the dimly light park from the street lamps, the cheesy songs we sang. The adorable protectiveness of Kol and Tate, especially around eyeing youth.

The night kept on getting better and better, if that was even possible. When the guys noticed Lia and I starting to yawn constantly, they finally decided to drop us back to campus.

On the ride back home, I think Lia and I fell asleep. We suddenly woke up when the car came to a stop.

"Shoot, I can't go in any further," Tate said.

I yawned and woke up.

I looked out the window and saw that the post was up. It wouldn't allow cars to enter the campus, but it was big enough to let many individuals walk right through.

"It's alright. I'll go to my res. It's right there." I pointed to the building with a huge oak tree in front. It was a little far, but I would be fine.

"No, it's my responsibility to get you home safely."

"No, really it's alright." I protested.

Tate wasn't listening. He got out of the car, at the same time as me.

"Kol, I'll be back in 5 minutes. Look after Lia."

He nodded.

Tate gestured with his hands, "after you."

I just shook my head.

We walked in silence. My eyes kept dozing off and Tate poked me to stay awake.

"Sorry, maybe we pushed it a bit. We shouldn't keep you guys out for so long." He chuckled.

I smiled. "Hey, no harm was done."

We reached my dorm room in no time.

"Well, this is me." I said to him.

He nodded.

"I had a great time tonight" I said. "Thanks for inviting me."

"Ouch, stop with the formality. You're killing me here." He said, feigning hurt.

Me stop? You stop! Your cuteness is killing me.

He laughed. Why is he laughing? Shit, did I say that out loud?

I heard my door rumble.

"Shhh," I said.

Unknowingly, I put my finger over his mouth to make him keep quiet. If the security people see him, they'd kick him out. They would know he doesn't belong in a freshmen residence. He sure as hell does not look like an 19 year old boy, nor did he look like a girl for that matter.

Sasha opened the door, and rubbed her eyes.

"Ally?" she questioned.

"Yeah Sash, I'm back. Give me one second."

I closed the door on her.

I took my finger back.

"Well, I'm safely home now." I said.

He shook his head and gave me a great smile.

"Goodnight, Ally."

And with that he left.

Line Break

Once I woke up, I sat on my bed. I was still thinking about last night. I couldn't stop feeling all giddy and joyful.

I felt something plop down on my bed.

"Finally you're up!"

Austin was lying on the bed while I was sitting up cross legged. He stretched his hands above him, placing them behind his head, which caused his shirt to rise slightly.

Whoa, another morning present.

"Good morning" I practically swooned.

"Someone's happy this morning."

I just sighed, contently.

"Why are you so happy?" He had an amused look on his face.

Just then my phone rang.

"Hold up," I told him.

I grabbed my phone and picked up. It was Lia.

"Hello,"

"Hey Ally!"

At that moment, I could feel someone practically breathing on my neck. His arms were encasing me, pulling me towards him. I was struggling to get out of his grip. Mainly because, he was going to start tickling me. That boy does anything for attention.

"So what's up?"

"Aha, nothing much. Called to see if you were up yet. Last night was crazy, right?"

"It was! Oh I had a lot of fun,"

I could feel his fingers play with the edge of my pajamas, well the shirt.

"Oh that reminds me, I need to still pay you back for the food."

"Ally, I told you Tate doesn't mind paying. He was so shocked that you paid me back. He found that really cool."

I blushed at that.

"He thought that, really?" My voice was starting to get an octave higher.

Austin seemed to notice that. He just shook his head and continued.

"Yeah. Those guys thought it was also so cool how you didn't object to staying out so late. Some people don't like doing that sort of stuff."

Okay, that's it. I was officially dying on the inside!

"Oh yeah, it was fun hanging out. Especially the food man. I can't believe they made us order so much. And they ended up being full before us."

"Ahah, they kept challenging us. Especially you!"

"Picking on the newbie I suppose," I said, while gripping the edge of my lip. Austin pulled at my lip.

"Stop, that's my job," he whispered, giving a sly wink.

"Yeah! I guess. Dude I have to go, but I'll see you in class later on. By the way did you just wake up?"

"Yeah, like 5 minutes before you called. Dropping me off at three in the morning, I was so tired."

"Oh my god, same!"

"Goodness, I'll keep on talking forever. I'll see you soon! Bye Alls."

"Bye!"

I hung up the phone and Austin kissed my cheek.

"So that's why you were sleeping till the afternoon, you came home late." He whispered in my ear.

"Mr. Moon, it's not polite to listen to others' conversations." I teased.

He grinned mischievously.

Just then, Sasha walked into my side of the dorm.

"Oh whoops, did I interrupt something" she asked, a small smile gracing the ends of her lips.

"Not at all," I said, prying myself out of his embrace. "You know how touchy feel-y your friend is."

"True, Austin's a pig." She joked.

"Okay, whoa why are you all ganging up on me? What did I do?" He created his puppy dog face.

Cue the eye roll.

"Thank god, you're finally awake. I was waiting for so long!" Sasha said with frustration.

"Sorry, it was a long night!"

"With that hot man," she teased. She was wiggling her eyebrows, trying to get something out of me. But there was nothing to tell!

I felt my face get red.

"Man?" Austin questioned.

"He's not a man." I stated quiet awkwardly, my voice in a high pitched tone.

I was dying to get out of this conversation. Not with these people. Please, anything else! Let's talk about the amazing weather we were experiencing.

"Please, he was definitely not our age."

"Yeah, he's just 23, no big deal." I shook it off nonchalantly. Okay, I lied. It was a pretty big deal. I loved hanging out with them. Ugh, but I just didn't want to show it. It felt silly.

Austin's POV

Wait 23.

Wait hot?

Wait, out till three in the morning?

Who is this guy? She's never mentioned him.

Wait another second, is that why her voice was so high pitched when talking to whoever was on the phone. I've heard that female voices tend to go up an octave when associating with males. Is that why?

UGH. This girl is going to be the death of me.

Why does she have to be so darn mysterious all the time? Why can't she be normal, why can't she have actual feelings?

But most of all, why does she admire every single male on this planet, get giggly and adorable at the sound or thought of their names, besides me?

Author's Note: Aw, Austin's getting hit with feels. Never would have thought this would have such a big impact on the guy! But there's a change in Ally as well. She seems to be thinking and comparing everyone to Austin!

Oh well, I just want to say thank you to everyone who reads/reviews/likes/follows this story! You guys absolutely rock :)

And this was completely unintentional but, doesn't Austin wish he was 23? :D
