Another Day, Another Headache

After reaching the Uzumaki house with Tazuna, and discussing what the group had as far as ideas for the reconstruction plans for a few hours, as well as walking around the destroyed village, pointing out where they thought something should be built, or should be moved and to where, as the workers, and the Uzushio survivors were working hard at clearing all of the debris. Dusk slowly started approaching upon the world, and the workers and everyone else went back to the ship to get some rest for the night after a long eventful day of working.

After leaving for a short while to settle tomorrows work schedule and a few other minor details, Tazuna was back at the Uzumaki home discussing his last order of business with Naruto and Kensei, drawing up the plans for the new Uzumaki Clan Compound. When the plans for the compounds basics drawn up, the reconstruction of Uzu can get well underway.

"So before I even suggest anything, why don't you tell me exactly what you two are thinking the compound should look like. I'm sure you know all too well about how the compound and the house of the head of the clan has to reflect the clan's image and all that crap.." Tazuna trailed off trying to get the ball rolling on his last order of business before heading back to the ship for some rest.

"Too well unfortunately.." Kensei groaned before starting off. "I think we should start by marking out a large area around the house for the perimeter of the compound, then put up stone walls where we decided to mark off. We can figure out where we want the training grounds to be and all of the smaller things at a later time." Kensei suggested thoughtfully.

"Alright. We will have to do that in the morning when we have more light outside. And when I head back to wave for more supplies, and workers I will be sure to bring along more stone masons. After we surveyed the destruction of the village I think its safe to say the foundations of the old buildings are just not stable enough to support any weight of new buildings." Tazuna added in.

"Fair enough. Now as far as the houses themselves for us here in the compound.. I know for sure that we are wanting two to be built as of right now. One for Naruto and Hinata, and one for Tsunade and Shizune. Naruto and I were going to talk to Karin about what she is planning on doing now that she has apparently "Found us," and see if she is planning on staying here with us or not." Kensei informed the old drunken builder.

"I talked with Sasuke today about what he is planning on doing. He said that he has no intention on going back to Konoha, and plans to stay here with us in Uzu." Naruto smiled after thinking back to his conversation with his best friend. "He said that the future of the Uchiha Clan is "Not" going to be apart of Konoha." Naruto finished speaking.

"Very well then. How do you want the houses to be built? I'm sure you know we don't have anything extravagant to offer such as marble, and gold." Tazuna half joked as he laughed to himself a bit.

"I think that is a question better to be asked when the significant other is around." Naruto answered very seriously.

"Ohhh?" Kensei asked while giving Naruto an odd look with an eyebrow raised upwards surprised at Naruto's response, thinking that his brother would just spew out exactly what he wanted the house to look like at a mile a minute without a moments hesitation.

"Yeah. If I am going to be the Uzukage, and leader of the village one day. I want to have a very respectable home that shows who lives there, and all that." Naruto answered calmly.

"I bet your really just saying that because Hinata crushed your hopes, and dreams of an orange house. Am I right?" Kensei questioned smugly.

"WHATS WRONG WITH WANTING AN ORANGE HOUSE!" Naruto yelled wildly, before calming down. "Besides..." Naruto mumbled something else that the other two didn't manage to catch.

"What was that? I didn't quite catch that. I may be old and sitting 5 feet away from you but i am positive i should of heard something coming out of your noise trap." Tazuna asked with an eyebrow raised.

"I said.. besides.. Hinata told me that she was in charge of what the house should look like, since she knows what "Noble and Respectable" house should look like, and that all of my ideas were either ridiculous or just plain not happening..." Naruto whined as he lowered his head, causing his black bangs to cover his face.

"That little shy girlfriend of yours said that?" Tazuna asked in amusement with a grin on his face.

"Haha! Huzzzing! You are... whipped!" Kensei yelled as he stood up, and pretended to crack a whip at his younger brother.

"Oh fuck you, and you aren't!?" Naruto fired back in retaliation.

"..."

"Exactly. Now sit down and shut up." Naruto said with a nod and finality in his voice.

"Alright, so we will go over what the houses will look like tomorrow then, after we draw up the perimeter of the compound." Tazuna stated as he flipped through his note pad that contained his "to do list."

"Before I head back to the ship there was one more thing that i wanted to run by you two." Tazuna started as Kensei, and Naruto looked back to the old man.

"Seeing that we have only so many men able to work on things here at the moment. In a week or so I am going to head back to wave, and come back with more workers and supplies like I mentioned earlier. I will most likely only go back to wave everyone once in a while, during the reconstruction, but I need to handle organizing my workers myself and handling the little matters that will make this operation go a lot smoother than if i just had some random guy calling the shots." Tazuna informed the boys.

"Very well then. We thank you deeply for what you are doing for us Tazuna." Kensei said in a very sincere tone.

"Yes thank you. Me helping you guys getting rid of Gato is nothing compared to what you and everyone in wave are doing for us." Naruto followed up with.

"Think nothing of it you two. Now I'm going to head out for the night. I'll see you two bright and early in the morning." Tazuna said as he got up from the couch and made his way to the door.

"Oh Tazuna." Kensei spoke before the man made his way out the door.

"Yes?"

"You aren't going to wake us all up everyday with the ships horn again are you?" Kensei asked fearfully.

"Hell no... hearing that thing so early in the morning with a hangover is sure to kill anyone.." Tazuna laughed as he opened the front door, and left Kensei and Naruto alone in the living room.

"Oh thank god.." Kensei whined in victory.

"Well.. I'm going to get some sleep. Night Kensei." Naruto spoke as he too got off of the couch.

"Yeah I'm right behind you. We got another big day tomorrow for us." Kensei laughed.

"Everyday for the past week has been "Another big day for us."" Naruto said as he rolled his eyes at his brothers comment.

"Hmmm.. you make a persuasive argument for a leprechaun." Kensei laughed once again seeing his brother getting annoyed at his come back.

"Screw you." Naruto responded tiredly, as he opened his bedroom door and closed it behind him.

Having no one else to torment before bed, Kensei followed suit, and made his way to his room to get some sleep all the while looking forward to the next day.

Earlier In Konoha

After the disappearance of the Uzumaki boys, their girlfriends, as well as Sasuke, Kakashi was having a very rough week. Not really able to trust his own gut on how he should really feel about the situation as a whole, Kakashi sought out Kurenai to see how she was holding up and feeling about what had happened seeing how she was Hinata's sensei and guardian for a while.

Walking around the village at a leisurely pace with his orange book of smut in front of his face for the world to see, Kakashi slowly made his way to the training grounds where she took her team most of the time, in hopes of talking with her for a few minutes. Upon reaching training ground 8, Kakashi spotted Kurenai sitting on a stump talking with Kiba, and Shino about something.

"Looks like they are done with whatever training they were doing for the day." Kakashi thought as he observed the two boy's condition from afar, as they listened to their sensei. Pushing his musings aside he continued his walk towards the small group, before putting his beloved book away in his pocket, and disappearing in a swirl of leaves.

Quickly reappearing behind the two boys, and effectively scaring the crap out of Kiba, and Shino. Even though Shino didn't outwardly show it. Kurenai raised an eyebrow upon seeing the ex-anbu captain known as Kakashi.

"Good morning to you Kakashi. How are you doing today now that you have effectively scared my genin?" Kurenai asked with mild annoyance in her voice.

"Good morning to you as well Kurenai. And sorry about the quick entrance you two, I merely got tired of walking." Kakashi apologized with a smirk hidden beneath his mask.

"Is there something i can help you with Kakashi?" Kurenai asked curiously after seeing that Kakashi hasn't said anything else yet.

"Oh. Yeah there is now that I think about it. Do you have a minute?" Kakashi asked while signaling with his lone exposed eye towards the two boys, that he wanted to discuss something alone.

"Of course, I was just finishing up with these two." Kurenai answered, before looking back down to what is left of her team. "That is all for today you two. Rest up and be sure to be here at 7am for light training before we pick up a few D-rank missions for the day." Kurenai finished. Getting a smile from Kiba, a bark from Akamaru, and a nod from Shino, before the two boys left the training grounds leaving Kakashi and Kurenai alone.

"Now what is it that you were needing to speak to me about Kakashi? Has something else happened?" Kurenai asked a little quickly.

"Um.. Unfortunately I have no other news as far as Hinata, Naruto, Kensei, Hana, and Sasuke." Kakashi answered a little sadly. "I was wanting to see how you were holding up after Hinata left the village?" Kakashi finished.

"It's not like you to worry about others like this Kakashi. You feeling ok?" Kurenai teased before seeing that Kakashi still had that somewhat down cast look on his masked face, and that his lone exposed eye was dull and almost lifeless at the moment.

"I'm doing alright I suppose." Kurenai answered quietly.

"I see. I know that you were close to Hinata's guardian for sometime now, and now that she is gone from the village I know it must be affecting you pretty hard." Kakashi stated to the red eyed woman in front of him.

After a few moments of silence between the two Jounin's, Kurenai spoke up braking the quietness that was surrounding the two.

"How are you doing Kakashi? Honestly."

"Not.. so good." Kakashi admitted after a moment or two of hesitation. "I've lost too many people that I have held dear in my life.. so now after losing Naruto, and now Sasuke after everyone I had already lost, it is really starting to take it's toll on me." Kakashi finish as he slowly sat on the ground that he was standing on.

"Is he seriously opening up to me?" Kurenai thought to herself, while taking in what Kakashi was explaining to her.

"I'm sorry to hear that.. if it makes you feel any better I haven't slept more than 4 hours each night since they left the village. I've been worrying about them ever since." Kurenai spoke softly while looking at the ground.

"I wish I could get 4 hours of sleep a night, I haven't sleep in almost 3 days now. I just toss and turn and end up getting out of bed to wander the village just so I can think." Kakashi chuckled a little bit after realizing that he in fact has not actually slept in quite some time.

"Kakashi, you really need to get some rest. It's not healthy for.." Kurenai started but was cut off by Kakashi.

"I know, I know.. I'm going to try, and get some sleep here in a little bit." Kakashi eye smiled.

"So.. Just what is it that you've been thinking about when you are wandering around the village Kakashi?" Kurenai asked curiously.

"Honestly. I keep asking myself if I could of done more for Naruto earlier on in his life. And I keep beating myself up time and time again after realizing that I passed up far too many opportunities to take care of him in the past but chose not to." Kakashi admitted sadly after remaining silent for a few moments, thinking whether or not he should tell her or not. "I should of done.. so much for him.. especially since he was.." Kakashi stopped after remembering that he couldn't speak of Naruto's parents to anyone that was not aware of his heritage. "Sorry.. I didn't mean to get too depressed over the whole thing on you like this." Kakashi eye smiled while trying to put on a face of bravery for the woman in front of him.

"Kakashi... you can't beat yourself down mentally like that.." Kurenai spoke softly.

"So why are you not able to sleep much these past few days?" Kakashi asked just to get the conversation off of him for a few minutes hopefully.

"Well, a lot of things actually." Kurenai started slowly. "Asuma, and I are pretty much finished. After Hinata and the other left the village I've been feeling really depressed and upset, and apparently Asuma "Can't handle" my feelings and emotions towards what has happened. He's being a selfish dick." Kurenai muttered the last part.

"I'm.. sorry to hear that." Kakashi spoke with a little awkwardness in his voice.

"*Sigh* It's alright really. Things have been going really down hill for Asuma, and I ever since we got our genin teams. He's so hell bent on making his team great so early on that he doesn't even want or even care to try and spend time with me. So I kind of saw it coming." Kurenai responded feeling a little better after talking to someone about what has been bothering her lately. "Sorry, I didn't mean to trouble you with my personal issues Kakashi." Kurenai apologized after seeing Kakashi sitting a little awkwardly on the ground.

"Nah, It's fine. If you feel better after talking about it then I don't mind. I came here to talk to you about the kids in hopes i may feel better talking to someone who may be having a hard time dealing with it like myself." Kakashi answered truthfully.

"Well are you feeling any better now?" Kurenai asked simply.

"Nope. Not at all." Kakashi responded quickly with a chuckle at the end.

"Well why don't you tell me what else is bothering you. Maybe you will feel better then. I have time." Kurenai offered seeing that Kakashi is having such an internal struggle.

"If you'd like to. It'd be nice to actually talk with someone for once, with no missions, or threats nearby." Kakashi eye smiled before standing back up. "You eat breakfast yet? Cuz this may take a while." Kakashi teased with his eye smile still in place.

"Actually I haven't. You buying?"

"Um. Sure." Kakashi answered after a moment of thought.

"Just one condition Kakashi." Kurenai spoke up as she got up off of the stump she was sitting on, and fixed a hardened glare with her red eyes.

"Whats that?" Kakashi asked while looking back at her over his shoulder.

"You can't read your book." Kurenai stated simply with a stern look on her face. "I won't be seen with you in public outside of a mission or meeting, while your face is shoved into a perverted book." Kurenai finished explaining while crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes at Kakashi.

"Ok ok ok. I won't read my book while you are around. You have my word." Kakashi said as he held his hands up in surrender, while sweating a little at the look Kurenai was giving him. "Shesh, she can be a scary woman when she wants to be." Kakashi thought to himself as he started walking towards the village with Kurenai walking next to him.

"So where we eating at?" Kurenai asked hoping that Kakashi wouldn't clam up, and remain quiet like he normally is and actually talk a bit more.

"I really haven't decided. Anywhere you suggest?" Kakashi responded casually.

"I know the perfect place, follow me." Kurenai spoke up after hearing Kakashi not really knowing, or caring where they are eating at.

Somewhere In The Middle of The Land of Fire

After traveling around the land of fire, and stopping by places of interest that the group thought the Uzumaki's would stop by at. Torune, and his fellow root anbu were coming up short at every turn, and were quickly running out of ideas as to where the Uzumaki boys could of gone to.

"Torune. It's been 4 days now, and we haven't found the slightest clue as to where the two we are looking for have gone. Is there anywhere else that we haven't looked that they could of possibly gone?" One of the root anbu asked his captain.

"I'm aware that we haven't found a trace of where they have gone. And there are a few places left that we are needing to look through before our week deadline is up." Torune answered in a monotone voice.

"Well where should we head to now? We are as far up north in the land of fire that we can go without crossing any boarders. You don't think they made it out of the land of fire by now have you Torune-senpai?" Another root anbu asked.

"It's highly unlikely that they have made it out of the land of fire at this time. They are just a Chuunin and a Genin, with not very high chakra reserves, so i doubt the likeliness of them making it out of the land of fire. They must be hiding out in one of the smaller towns either near the capital or in a smaller village farther away from the larger villages and roads." Torune explained.

"Let us go south and check the smaller villages near by. Remember.. We do not want to disappoint Danzo-sama.. I'm sure that I don't need to remind you three of what happens to us who have failed him.." Torune warned as he took off to the trees, with his slightly worried team behind him at the consequences of failing Danzo.

Back In Konoha

After leaving the Hokage's tower, and wandering around the village that he currently wished nothing more than to be gone from for a while to cool off for a bit. Jiraiya was thinking over any possibilities of where the boys could of gone. Not coming up with anything worth while, he decided it would be best to speak with Kakashi, and see if he had anything else that could help him figure out a starting point that would lead him to where the boys could of possibly gone.

Ignoring all of the people passing by that were either trying to get his attention, or simply stopping to stare at him, as he walked on in thought trying to figure out where Kakashi could possibly be, until he heard a pair of people talking not too far away.

"Geez Kakashi I didn't know it would strain your brain so much to not be carrying your book in front of your face as you walked anywhere.."

Looking over to where he heard Kakashi's name, Jiraiya noticed Kakashi walking with his hand in front of his face as if he was reading his book.. but nothing was in his hand. Making the elite Jounin to look a little strange as he walked along next to Konoha's genjutsu mistress.

"I can't help it... it just feels wrong to not have my book in my hand while I am walking..." Kakashi admitted awkwardly as his hand finally fell down to his side, as he and Kurenai walked into a small resteraunt.

Seeing who he was looking for disappear into the resteraunt with a very attractive woman, It didn't take long for Jiraiya to change course and follow after the two.

After sneaking into the resteraunt and observing the two as they ordered their food. Jiraiya decided to make his move.

"Kakashi! How goes!?" Jiraiya announced a little too loudly from within the resteraunt causing everyone from within it to look over to the toad sage as he slapped his hand on Kakashi's shoulder hard, effectively spooking the masked Jounin.

"Master Jiraiya? What are you doing here?" Kakashi asked curiously after recovering from his shock.

"I agree, it's not every day that you are here Master Jiraiya." Kurenai added in.

"Well... I was just so happening to be wandering the village and just so happened to spot one of my favorite supporters of my famous novels! And just couldn't pass up the opportunity to check up on him as he dived into a resteraunt with a lovely lady, now could I?" Jiraiya responded with a smug grin on his face, making Kakashi worried, and pissing off Kurenai.

"Um.. It's not what you're thinking Master Jiraiya.." Kakashi said trying to steer the lecherous old man away from thinking the wrong way about him being around Kurenai.

"Oh nonsense! I know whats going on!" Jiraiya quickly shot back as he grabbed a near by chair and plopped it next them.

Not really wanting to say anything else at the moment due to whatever they said being taken the wrong way by the pervy old man, Kakashi and Kurenai just sat there waiting for Jiraiya to say something intelligent.

"So.. I heard what happened." Jiraiya spoke up after his grin fell and got serious. Finally seeing the old man serious the two finally spoke up again.

"Yeah.. things around here have gotten much worse since they left, and the village doesn't even seem to notice." Kakashi responded.

"I can tell. I've only been here half a day, and I can tell that this village is going to be hurting here in the near future." Jiraya spoke in a somber tone. "Anyways Kakashi, I actually was trying to find you to see if you could give me any other information that I could use." Jiraiya finished.

"Use for what?" Kurenai asked curiously.

"Use for when I go looking for them. What else?" Jiraiya answered as if it was the most simple thing in the world.

"I see.. Well I told Hokage-sama everything that i know as far as what happened before and after the incident, so if you talked to him first then you should know everything that I do by now." Kakashi answered the white haired man.

"Yeah I talked to the old man a little while ago.. but it just stumps me that he didn't have a single clue as to where I should start my search for them. So I figured since you were Naruto's sensei, that you may have that one little thing that may of slipped your mind that could prove useful to me." Jiraiya explained.

"Ok very well. What would you like to ask me?"

"The last mission that you and your team went on was in wave country correct?" Jiraiya asked plainly.

"Yes, and it went well too considering we stumbled upon Kensei, and all of that. Why do you ask?" Kakashi answered.

"And other than that one mission to wave, had Naruto ever gone outside of the village?"

"No I do not believe so." Kakashi answered once more, and got a smile from the famous smut writer.

"Thanks Kakashi, I'll leave you two love birds alone now." Jiraiya spoke as he pushed himself away from his chair with his smile still in tack.

"That's all your going to ask?" Kurenai asked Jiraiya, trying to ignore the love bird comment he just made.

"Yes, I think I got all I need to start my search." Jiraiya responded.

Thinking about the conversation for a moment, Kakashi started to see what Jiraiya was smiling about.

"Glad I could help Master Jiraiya. If you do find them, please let me know that you found them." Kakashi told Jiraiya.

"Yes please let us know... we both are really worried about them.." Kurenai added in with a saddened look on her face, while looking down at the table.

"Don't worry you two, I'll send word if I find them. Ja ne" Jiraiya said as he waved the two off as he left the resteraunt at a slow pace. "Wave country it is... I better leave as soon as possible to cover as much ground as possible if I want any hope of catching up to them." Jiraiya thought as he walked through the exit of the establishment.

Seeing the white haired man leave the resteraunt, Kurenai turned her attention back to the silver haired man in front of her at the table.

"So he thinks he knows where they may have gone?" Kurenai asked with hope in her voice.

Leaning forward across the table so he could speak quietly, Kakashi whispered.

"He believes they may have gone to wave country, because that is the only place that Naruto has gone outside of the village where people know him, and don't have any ill will against him." Kakashi answered, before sitting back in his chair.

"That's good news.. I just hope he gets there in time, and finds them safe." Kurenai said with a small smile on her face.

"Here is your food you two. Enjoy." A waiter said as he approached the table, setting the food down on the table and left soon after.

"Well how about we eat, and then finished that talk we were going have?" Kurenai asked while looked from her food to Kakashi.

"Sure, that'd be nice." Kakashi answered with an eye smile.

Later That Afternoon

After finishing breakfast, and talking for a while near one of the stone monuments of the fallen, that Kakashi would be found staring at during most of his free time, Kakashi and Kurenai were graced with the presence of an anbu.

"Kakashi-senpai, Kurenai Yuhi. Hokage-sama is requesting your presence." The anbu spoke before disappearing in a swirl of leaves.

"Well... I guess we are being summoned." Kakashi spoke quietly.

"Seems so.." Kurenai responded just as quietly, secretly enjoying the peaceful day she was having just talking with Kakashi about her worries over the Hinata, Naruto, and the others.

"Better not keep him waiting. Let's go." Kakashi advised, getting a nod from Kurenai, before they both disappeared in a swirl of leaves to the Hokage tower.

Reappearing in the Hokage's room, Hiruzen greeted the two quickly.

"Thank you for coming you two, and for once Kakashi arrived at the same as another that I have summoned, very strange I must say." Hiruzen smiled.

"Um.. yes. What is it you needed Hokage-sama?" Kakashi spoke to the elderly leader of the village.

"Oh yes. I called you two here to discuss something of importance. As you both obviously know, you two are missing members of your genin teams." Hiruzen started as he put his elbows on his desk and folded his hands together. "And with the Chunin Exams coming up and being held here in Konoha, we need all of our genin possible to participate who are ready for the task. And on such a note I would like to discuss the possibility of merging both of your left over genin together and forming a new team. That way young Sakura, Kiba, and Shino will have a functioning squad once more. Would either of you have any problems with such a merger?" Hiruzen finished, asking the two Jounin.

"I don't see any problems with it Hokage-sama, I could very easily teach Sakura genjutsu. Kakashi was just telling me that he was teaching her chakra control and is a natural at it, and also was going to asked me to teach her some basic genjutsu sooner or later. So I see no problem with it." Kurenai explained.

"I have no reasons to not let them have a full team again. But my only question would be what would I do if Sakura goes to Kurenai's team?" Kakashi asked curiously.

"No need to worry about that Kakashi. Both you, and Kurenai will be the leaders of the new squad, with the two of you teaching, and leading them, I am most certain that they will do great things together." Hiruzen stated to the two before him.

"I see.. but wont the team having two sensei's cause issues among other teams?" Kakashi asked curiously.

"That will not be an issue as I have already taken care of it. Kurenai will remain "Official Leader" of Team 8, but you and Kurenai will lead the team together. I hope that you two can get along well enough to handle this responsibility?"

"Yes Hokage-sama." Kakashi and Kurenai said at the same time.

"Wonderful. You two are dismissed." Hiruzen said with a smile.

After leaving the Hokage's tower, Kakashi and Kurenai were silent for a while thinking about what they were just told.

"Well... I didn't see that coming.." Kakashi admitted as he walked along side Kurenai with his hands in his pockets.

"Neither did I, but at least it is what is best for the genin."

"I agree. I guess this means we will be seeing a lot of each other then." Kakashi chuckled.

"Looks like it." Kurenai said simply with a smile in her head. "We better get the team together tomorrow morning, and explain what is going on from now on." Kurenai finished.

"Sounds good." Kakashi answered while looking up at the almost darkened sky.

"Hey Kakashi?" Kurenai spoke after a couple moments of silence.

"Yeah?"

"You wanna get some sake? You look like you could use some, and I know I do too." Kurenai asked.

"Are you asking me out on a date?" Kakashi teased curiously.

"Of course not. That's a man's job, I'm just asking if you want some or not, seeing how you bought me breakfast, i thought I'd return the favor." Kurenai explained while looking away from Kakashi in mock annoyance.

"Oh well in that case, I do suppose I could use some sake right about now." Kakashi eye smiled.

"Good, I know the perfect place." Kurenai said as she looked back at him, and told him to follow her.

The Next Day In Uzu

After a good nights sleep, and a morning filled with everyone from within the Uzumaki house walking with Tazuna as they marked the perimeter of the new Uzumaki Compound, and talking amongst one another about ideas that they had for their new homes that would go within. It was now afternoon and Tazuna had ordered a good amount of workers to start laying the ground work for the walls that will soon enclose the new compound.

With the workers all busy with their tasks, Tazuna was able to sit down with Tsunade, Shizune, as well as Hana, and Hinata. Seeing how Naruto and Kensei were out helping within the village with their shadow clones, helping the workers out to make things go along quicker.

After spending a few hours going over with them the construction plans for Tsunade and Shizune's new home, Tazuna asked Hinata go track down Naruto, and have him come back to the house to figure out the details of their new home as well.

After setting out from the house, it only took Hinata a few minutes of searching to find one of Naruto's shadow clones running around and tell it to have the original to come back to the house for a bit to go over their new home Tazuna and the workers were going to build. After the message was passed along, and a quick jab to the stomach of the shadow clone effectively dispelling it, Hinata went back to the house excited to about going over what her and Naruto's home will soon look like.

"Alright I'm here. What's the game plan old man." Naruto announced to the room as he walked through the door of the house.

"Naruto-kun.. it's not nice to call people such names like that." Hinata scolded her boyfriend.

"Nah don't worry about it little lady, old man is the least of the names that I could be called that I would consider to be offensive." Tazuna said while waving the name Naruto called him off. "But now that you are here we can draw up the plans for your house." Tazuna said while skimming through a large notebook of papers before stopping on a specific page, and turning it around to show the young couple.

"These are a few of the designs that myself and the architect came up with while on the ship. There are a few others on the other pages. You are welcome to look them over and see which one you like, or maybe what you like on each one and add them together, either way I don't give a crap long as you decide on what you want." Tazuna explained with a smirk.

Looking over the pages, and examining what they liked and disliked about each one, and discussing it with each other. Hinata looked up from the notebook back at Tazuna with the verdict.

"I think we have figured out which one suits us best. The one on the third page has the foundation that we find acceptable, but we would like to have a second story like the one on the second page, and the front and back yard design of the one on the fourth page." Hinata explained almost giddy thinking about what the house would look like after looking over the possible plans for the house.

"Alright, we can make that work without any issues I think. Just let me get these back to the architect to draw up what you are wanting, and I'll be back here in a couple hours so you can decide where we are going to be building this." Tazuna announced as he took a hold of the notebook that Hinata was handing back to him, and stood up from the couch.

"Actually, we already know where we would like to have the house built." Naruto spoke up after pretty much being silenced the whole time that Hinata was looking over the plans with starry eyes.

"Really? Well do tell, that should make things quicker for us." Tazuna said quickly.

"We were wanting to have the house built on the opposite side of the compound. That way Kensei and Hana's home is on the eastern most corner of the compound, and Hinata and I's home is on the western most corner of the compound. This way our two homes will be able to defend potential intruders into the compound and all of that." Naruto finished explaining very intelligently, shocking the old builder.

"I think I liked you better when you were a very simple kid with very simple things to say." Tazuna chuckled as he made his way to the front door, but looked back at the young couple on the couch he was previously talking with. "But I think that is a great idea, and I will make all the necessary preparations to make it happen for you two." Tazuna finished as he exited the house

"So how long do you think it will take for our home to be built Hinata-chan?" Naruto asked.

"You should know that you are asking the wrong person that Naruto-kun..." Hinata sweat dropped at her boyfriends question.

"Well.. yeah.. i was just asking what your guess would be.." Naruto said with a fake pout.

"Hopefully not very long. I've always dreamed of having my own home, ever since i was little. So I hope we don't have to wait very long." Hinata explained with a smile on her face.

"I'm just looking forward to not having any traumatizing wake up calls while I am sleeping.." Naruto admitted, thinking about all of the times Kensei had woken him up in some odd way or another. "Well I better get back to what I was doing before I came here." Naruto announced to his girlfriend as he got up from the couch.

"And what was that Naruto-kun?"

"Oh I was talking with Sasuke and Karin for a while about what they were going to do about their living situations here. Karin already told Tazuna what she wanted for a house, and she is going to be living here in the compound with us as well. And Sasuke.. well he didn't care too much as far as having a house yet because he said that he didn't know what he wanted." Naruto explained.

"I think he secretly is wanting Karin to ask him to live with her." Hinata spoke up after a few seconds of thinking.

"You think so?" Naruto asked curiously.

"Call it... a woman's intuition Naruto-kun." Hinata said with a smile.

"Why wouldn't Sasuke ask to live with us instead?" Naruto asked not sure how he should feel about what Hinata brought up.

"Think about it Naruto-kun. Kensei and Hana will be alone together with the baby on the way. And I don't know about you but I would like nothing more than to have our own home together. Besides, Sasuke likes Karin no matter how much he may think he doesn't, plus he's never talked so much any girl before willingly." Hinata explained.

"I guess.. I see your point. Well whatever, that's for them to decide. You wanna come with me while I head back over to where they are at?" Naruto spoke up.

"Of course Naruto-kun." Hinata answered with a smile, and got up off of the couch and grabbed Naruto's hand as they made their way to the front door.

Later That Afternoon In The Harbor

After coming back from his meeting with the architect Tazuna was showing the group the finished planed of their soon to be homes, and getting very happy responses about them all, and was now discussing with them all what he was going to do next.

"So now that you all approve of the plans for the houses, I have already ordered workers to start working on the foundations of the houses in the areas that you wanted your homes tomorrow morning after the last of the debris is cleared away. I already have a few lists of supplies that I need to bring back here to get the houses as well as other buildings started. So I need to head back to wave tomorrow morning, and should be back tomorrow night with everything." Tazuna explained to the group before him.

After everyone was filled in on what was going on as far as their houses went, and Tazuna parted ways to get back to whipping his slaves into building stuff. Kensei, and Naruto split off from the group with Sasuke in tow for some training. Arriving in a choice location deemed suitable for some light training Kensei spoke out to the two boys.

"Alright you two. I know Naruto knows all about this but i feel the need to fill you in on this Sasuke. I know we haven't been around each other much but I hope you can learn very quickly to shut up and listen when I am talking..." Kensei warned as his red eyes glowed slightly as he narrowed his eyes at the Uchiha teen.

"Y-yeah sure." Sasuke stuttered slightly at seeing Kensei's eyes. For some reason that he could not pin point... Kensei's eyes just held a sense of power that caused every fiber of his being to scream out in fear of being killed.

"Good." Kensei nodded as his serious demeanor quickly turned into that of a goofy dork. "Now! There are some things you don't know about Naruto and I, and for safety reasons I won't blab about them, but Naruto can tell you about him when he feels like it. But just know this Sasuke... things here wont be simple. Life wont be very easy like it may of been back in Konoha. Here in Uzu we will bust our asses off to make this place even greater than it was back when it was still standing. So I need to know right now from you." Kensei said as his mood turned serious once more.

"Will you stand, fight, and bleed in Uzu's name, and honor? And will the Uzumaki's, and Uzu have the Uchiha's support as we restore our once great nation?" Kensei asked the boy seriously.

"I will gladly fight for Uzu, and will gladly support my best friends clan, as we all reestablish this countries foundation once more." Sasuke answered in a serious tone.

"That's a good answer. We may be very few in numbers right now. But hopefully in the not so far away future... we may be a power house of a country that will be once again respected, as well as feared to the rest of the elemental nations." Kensei announced proudly.

"I look forward to the day when the Uchiha stand tall next to the Uzumaki's as this country comes into the greatness it deserves back." Sasuke said in the same serious tone as before.

"Then we are glad to have you here with us Sasuke." Kensei responded as he stuck his hand out for the Uchiha teen.

"I'd rather be no where else than here." Sasuke said as he reached forward, and shook Kensei hand firmly.

"Great now that you got your answer Kensei, can we start what we were also going to do?" Naruto spoke up after waiting patiently, causing the other two black haired teens to look at him strangely.

"Do what?" Both Kensei and Sasuke asked at the same time, causing Naruto to sweat drop.

"Shesh.. Sasuke not knowing is understandable, but you Kensei..." Naruto said as he shook his head in disappointment. After seeing Kensei looking back at him blankly, clearly showing that he didn't know what Naruto was talking about. Naruto got a tick mark out of irritation.

"We were going to tell him about the role we were wanting him to take on after we get this place put together you dip shit!" Naruto yelled at Kensei.

"What? oh! OH!? I remember now." Kensei responded as the gears were finally starting to turn in his brain.

"Role? What role?" Sasuke asked curiously.

"Well Kensei and I were talking a little bit ago about how we need to see if any of Uzu's old allies would be willing to ally with us, or at least establish a few trade routes to start the economy and stuff like that. So we decided that in order to do so, we need to get the feels out from before we formally approach the subject." Naruto explained.

"I see. So what is it that you are wanting me to do exactly? I'm sure you both are well aware of the fact that the three of us are highly sought after for numerous reasons... wouldn't any one of us sniffing around a different country give us as well as Uzu some unwanted attention so early on?" Sasuke asked.

"Normally that would be the case Sasuke. But... I believe I have found a way for us to travel around in disguise to where people will not know it is actually us. That way we can walk around the elemental nations unnoticed." Kensei finished explaining.

"You mean a transformation? Pff you should know those will fall if we are hit or lose our concentration..." Sasuke scoffed.

"No no not a transformation jutsu... a special Uzumaki seal will help us." Kensei smirked, causing Sasuke to raise an eyebrow curiously.

"Go on.."

"Ok well seeing how you will be using one later on, ill explain. The seal when placed upon a person changes their appearance, vocals, and slightly changes their chakra signature. It was used by the Uzumaki's for recon behind enemy lines during war times, but it will work perfectly for what we are needing to do." Kensei explained.

"Alright. So when do you propose we do this?" Sasuke asked.

"When we are ready."

"What do you mean?"

"Simply put. We are not ready to face the any larger on coming threats to either, us.. or Uzu. So we need to train our asses off in the mean time before we can set out from Uzu. Also as you may have not noticed... Hana and I have a baby on the way.. and I'd like to keep my nuts thank you very much." Kensei announced defensively while holding onto his manhood.

"Riiiight.. anyways Sasuke, Kensei is simply saying that we need to get some serious training in before hand. As us being just genin.. I'm sure you have figured we would be no match for others." Naruto added in.

"Yeah I know." Sasuke admitted through gritted teeth.

"Alright now that we have gotten that out of the way we can start some training. Did you bring any special clan scrolls that you thought worth bringing with you before leaving Sasuke?" Kensei asked curiously.

"Yeah a few, and something more important to my clan than just a scroll to train off of." Sasuke responded.

"Oh really?"

"Yeah.. I sealed the Uchiha stone tablet that has been passed down the Uchiha since its creation." Sasuke answered.

"Stone tablet?" Naruto, and Kensei asked at the same time.

"It's a secret tablet that the Uchiha are only meant to know about. From what I was told it reveals secrets of the ancient past of the Uchiha. I haven't been able to decipher much of it seeing how I only have unlocked two tomes of my Sharringan." Sasuke revealed to the two Uzumaki's.

"Question." Naruto spoke up while raising his hand.

"What..?" Sasuke asked while looking over at his friend.

"Even though you may have only two tomes, and can only read so much of it so far.. what does it say?" Naruto asked.

"All that I can get from it so far is that there is two ways to unlock the second stage of the Sharringan. One by killing your closest friend like Itachi told me... and the other is to keep my Sharringan activated for 5 days straight." Sasuke answered.

"Ok, so.. hypothetically speaking... would any doujutsu work on the tablet?" Naruto asked once more curious if his Rinnegan would work on the stone tablet.

After thinking for a moment Sasuke spoke up.

"Possibly, but I am not sure. Nobody has ever seen it outside of the Uchiha Clan, so it's possible, but probably unlikely." Sasuke decided on.

"Well we can figure that out later, why don't we have ourselves a good old 3 way brawl." Kensei smirked as crouched, and started molding his chakra, ready to pounce on the two younger teens.

"Oh you suck." Naruto half pouted as he, and Sasuke started preparing for the beginning of their training.

After beating each other senseless for a couple hours, and talking in between spars. The boys finally stopped their little training session after their stomachs started demanding food. Deciding on going and getting some food before starting their training once more the boys took off back to the house to get some food.

While back inside the house, with Kensei upstairs taking a shower before eating. Naruto and Sasuke were sitting at the kitchen table eating a sandwich in silence until Naruto broke the peace that had settled at the table.

"So.. Sasuke.. there is something I feel like you need to know." Naruto began slowly.

"Ok? What is it?" Sasuke asked curiously.

"Well.. first thing would be the truth behind my hair color and eye color. Like everyone was told I unlocked my clan's bloodline, but just changing my hair and eye color was not the only thing that really changed.. I.." Naruto slowly stopped trying to think of the right words to finish the rest.

"Well? Spit it out.." Sasuke spoke irritatedly.

"What I really unlocked was my clan's doujutsu.." Naruto finished quickly seeing his best friends irritation.

"Your clan's what?" Sasuke asked not knowing if he heard Naruto correctly.

"Doujutsu.. eyes.. you know like your clan's Sharingan." Naruto repeated with an annoyed look on his face.

"Well lets see them. What are they called? I never heard about any other doujutsu's except the Sharingan, and the Byakugan." Sasuke explained with genuine interest upon hearing this.

"They are called the Rinnegan.. and they look like.." Naruto started as he activated his eyes. "This."

"W-what... the.." Was all Sasuke could manage to sputter out after seeing the appearance of Naruto's eyes, as the 9 tomes spun around the 6 rings of his eyes, with the red of his eyes slightly glowing.

"Pretty neat huh?" Naruto asked with a smirk.

"Y-yeah.. neat.." Sasuke spoke in a spaced off tone, before coming back to reality. "They look like the Sharingan... but different.. very different.."

"Eyyy...yeah.. there's a reason for that. Don't freak out on me when I say this but, from what Kensei and I found in our clan's ancient scrolls.. the clan's known as the Uzumaki, Uchiha, and Senju. All originated from one man, and he was known as The Sage of Six Path's. He had 3 son's and his son's inherited different aspects of their father. The son who later started the Uchiha Clan getting his eyes, and son who later started the Senju Clan getting his spiritual body, like everyone seems to know except for this last part. And that was that the youngest son kept his father's last name, and inherited both aspects that his brother's received. His father's eyes, and spiritual body, but the key difference was that his eyes would remained locked away for only a "Chosen One" to unlock . And on that bombshell... is why I have the Rinnegan, the doujutsu of the Sage of Six Path's." Naruto smirked after his explanation.

"You must of cast a genjutsu on me just so I could be told that right? Cuz that is pretty hard to take in." Sasuke spoke, not knowing really to believe what he was just told or not.

"I promise you that this is true, and these eyes are very real."

"Then from what i was taught of the Sage of Six Path's was that with his eyes, he could breath life into anything he wished. So that means you can too if you have the same eyes as him." Sasuke said as he started to really think back on what he was taught of the legendary man.

"That is true that he could, and unfortunately for me I can't do that yet. I have to train a lot! before I can even think about using jutsu's like that. Besides its not like I instantly know everything about these eyes just because I unlocked them." Naruto explained, while Sasuke nodded his head in understanding, seeing how the Sharingan has different stages to it even after it's activation.

"So why don't you use your eyes?" Sasuke asked curiously after a minute or two of silence.

"Because I have no real use for them right now... I mean yeah I have a lot of chakra, and they don't seem to sap a ton of it away when I do have them activated, but like I said I have no need to use them. Maybe once we leave Uzu, but before that I don't think I'll need them yet." Naruto explained before taking another bite of his sandwich.

"I guess that makes sense, I'd die if I kept my Sharingan activated all of the time." Sasuke added in.

"Well if I were you.. I'd start practicing to keep them on as long as possible after your third tome activates, seeing how you can only unlock the next stage with them activated for 5 days straight." Naruto said after he finished chewing his food.

"Yeah that's for sure.. thankfully we seem to have some time to really get into our training before we are needing to do anything major." Sasuke spoke up in agreement.

"Agreed, lets just hope nobody finds us here for the time being." Naruto stated with hope emanating behind his voice.

"Minions! How goes!?" Kensei shouted as he entered the kitchen the two boys were talking in.

"Good I guess, I was just talking to Sasuke about my Rinnegan, and what we should..." Naruto continued on explaining quickly to his brother everything.

"Uh huh... uh huh..." Kensei says in a bored tone as he looks out the kitchen window, and sees a squirrel eating Hana's triplets dog food out in the back yard. "ARE YOU SHITTING ME!?" Kensei screams into Naruto's face, after grabbing his face for no reason while spitting on his little brother, before throwing him a side to chase after the squirrel, leaving Sasuke speechless with his sandwich almost to his mouth.

Tearing through the kitchen, and getting to the back door and flinging it open wildly, Kensei starts flailing his arms around like a crazed lunatic that would normally be strapped into a straight jacket, and hidden away from the general public.

"YOU CANT DO SHIT!... WITHOUT YOUR BALLS!" Kensei screamed at the fluffy creature as he tore the back door open quickly resuming his chase.

With Kensei screaming at the squirrel who innocently looked up, only to be scared shitless at the glowing red eyed crazed Uzumaki teen barreling towards him. "Mother fucker I'll kick you in the ass!"

Being woken up by the commotion within the house from upstairs, Hana walks into the kitchen to see Naruto, and Sasuke leaning over the counter peering through the window above the kitchen sink, and asks what they are looking at before getting to the window herself.

"What is going on Naruto?" Hana asks innocently just as she gets to the window, only to see her Kensei freaking out in the back yard, chasing a squirrel around frantically as it's mouth was full of something. Hana just sweat drops at the scene playing out in the back yard, as the father of her baby, and mate now screams up a tree after the squirrel who made a desperate attempt to ditch the enraged human after it's life.

"Do i even want to know..?" Hana asks almost scared to find out what is going on.

Looking over at his older sister in law, Naruto just gives her a dead look.

"Your right.. It is probably best to keep my sanity, and just not know." Hana said as she turned her head away from the window, and went back into the living room to lay down on the couch.

A few minutes later after the two boys sat back down at the kitchen table, Kensei emerged back into the kitchen with a few scratched adorning his face and arms.

"I... *takes a deep breath* have emerged... victorious!" Kensei announces while holding his balled up fists upwards, and drops a little bit of dog food onto the kitchen floor.

"All that for some dog food?" Sasuke spoke up with a smirk on his face.

"All that? All THAT!? That shit ain't cheap dammit!" Kensei howled.

"Kensei I love you but.. SHUT THE HELL UP! I'M TRYING TO SLEEP!" Hana yelled from the other room, effectively shutting the older Uzumaki teen up.

"EEYESHH.. didn't know Hana woke up... you guys could of warned me..." Kensei muttered out.

"Like you gave us a chance when you burst through the back door yelling like a howler monkey." Naruto laughed, with Sasuke snorting before joining in on the laughter.

"Whatever, both you guy's asses are grass when we get back to training." Kensei spoke flatly as he left for the living room.

"You ever wonder if your brother suffers for insanity?" Sasuke ask his best friend seriously, but before Naruto could even respond Kensei shouted from the living room.

"I don't suffer from insanity! I enjoy every minute of it!"

"..."

"As you were saying?" Naruto answered with a smirk.

A few hours later of talking some more, and Kensei finally waking up from his nap with Hana, they boys made their way to the back yard for a pow wow with the girls of their residence.

"Alright what's the meaning of this Kensei, Shizune and I were admiring the work being done on our new home." Tsunade huffed in annoyance.

"Yeah what gives?" Naruto put in with his arms crossed in mock annoyance like Tsunade.

"I just wanted to get everyone here because I had a good question for everyone..." Kensei explained with his head hung down.

"Fine fine fine. What is this question that required all of us to be here at once?" Tsunade asked curiously.

"Well simply put, I was wondering what you all were wanting to do once the village was kind of put together in working order. I mean.. we can't all just sit around and drink all day..." Kensei explained.

"Watch me." Tsunade spoke quickly with a smirk.

"Tsunade-sama!" Shizune scolded her mentor.

"Ok ok ok, no drinking all day... just most of it." Tsunade chuckled at her own joke, which nobody else saw funny but her.

"Seriously though, we are going to be rebuilding a powerful village, we are going to need everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. Other clan's to keep the village secure and powerful, other shinobi to fill the ranks, a hospital and medical shinobi to work from within it and a leader to tie everything together! So... like I said... did any of you think of what you would want to do here?" Kensei finally finished up.

"Dibs of being the Kage!" Naruto shouted without a moments hesitation.

"Shut it you nerd. We all know what you want to do, but the likelihood of that happening any time soon is slim to non." Kensei explained while rolling his eyes.

"What!? Why not!?" Naruto pouted after being shot down so quickly.

"Because your 13 to everyone! Who's going to follow, and listen to a 13 year old leader of a village?" Kensei scoffed.

"Tch.."

Finally breaking up the silence Hinata spoke up.

"Um, If at all possible I'd like to perhaps learn to be a medical shinobi." Hinata trailed off thinking her idea was a stupid one. But giving the opposite affect on the old slug lady.

"You want to be a medical shinobi?" Tsunade asked the dark blue haired girl curiously.

"Yes.. I know my clan forbid anyone from within it from being a medical shinobi, but I feel like my strength would be best used not on the front lines like the rest of my clan thinks.." Hinata answered, feeling a bit shamed at the fact that she was going against her clan's teachings.

"Do you know how long I've been bugging your clan to let me teach one of you to be a medical shinobi?!" Tsunade responded with a sudden perked up attitude. "Just think about it! With your eyes and precision you could be one of the best!" Tsunade explained as she stared off into space in thought.

"I-I could?" Hinata stuttered.

"With a lot of hard work, and training you sure as hell could be." Tsunade smiled, before turning to Kensei. "Looks like I will be taking Hinata as an apprentice, so Shizune and I are going to need a hospital to work in."

"Right, I'll make sure to remember that." Kensei responded, unsure of how to take in Tsunade's sudden joy.

"SHIZUNE! You have a fellow minion to work with!" Tsunade announced to the black haired girl next to her a little too loudly.

"Yes.. I heard Tsunade-sama..." Shizune responded while plugging her ears in annoyance.

"So what about you Karin? What do you think you'd like to do?" Kensei asked the redhead.

"I.. don't really know.. I'm not really a fighter.. just let me think about it a little bit more okay?" The girl spoke with a quiet voice, while thinking about something else entirely.

"Fine by me. What about you Hana?"

"I think I'll tag along with Hinata for a while. That way I can help out if we need it. Seeing how I'm pregnant and all.. I wont be doing much physical training for a while now." Hana explained while holding her stomach gently.

"Well that about wraps that up, how about we.." Kensei started but was cut off by Karin.

"Um Kensei?"

Whipping his head around to look at his cousin/niece/whatever she is to him, Kensei looked straight at her.

"Yeah? What is it?"

"I need to tell you something. Something that my parents had told me to say when I found the last Uzumaki, before they died." Karin started, really not wanting to remember her parents final moments again.

"Alright." Kensei answered in a calm voice, thinking what it could possibly be.

"My.. my parents told me over the years that I was with them about how this place would one day rise up again.. and about how they escaped while Uzu was under attack. My dad said that he and my mom were ordered by his brother to help evacuate the civilians through the escape tunnels that lead through the mountains." Karin stopped for a moment to see Kensei's expression suddenly change to a somber look, with his eyes losing their playfulness and changing to a saddened one. While every one else in the group all gave the girl their full attention now.

"He told me that there were a couple other clansmen with them helping the evacuation, in case the invading forces found them while escaping, but one of them lead the whole group while calming everyone down to make their escape as easy as possible. My father said that the one who lead them all out was a lady known as Ayumi Uzumaki, and that she was the one responsible for making sure everyone left safely out of the tunnels." Karin stopped once again seeing that Kensei went from saddened to straight shocked but remained quiet.

"Father told me later on that after they all had escaped the tunnels, that they all fled to various small villages who were willing to take the risk of keeping them safe for a short while. He told me that the few remaining Uzumaki's split up to different small villages so that they weren't all together and noticeable, but mother and father stayed with Ayumi as long as possible. They traveled with the civilians that stayed within the group until they reached the bordered of grass country before they were attacked by shinobi from Kumo who were returning back to their country."

"S-she's.. not dead is she?" Kensei finally spoke up after hearing Karin for a while. But seeing Karin's eyes wander to the ground didn't give Kensei the answer he was really wanting to hear.

"During the attack my mother, and father were ordered by Ayumi to run as soon as they got the chance and take as many of the civilians possible with them, and unfortunately they were forced to follow through with her order as they were separated from her while the fighting went on. Father told me that when he looked back at Ayumi, that she was placing a seal on herself after seeing all the people that could run away doing so, seeing that the attackers were more focused on her, than the civilians themselves. He said he didn't know what the seal was because he was too far away from her, but saw that she was encased in a golden light for a few seconds before her body froze, and a crystal like force surrounded her body." Karin finished explaining.

Hearing that his mother had gotten out of Uzushio alive made Kensei happy in some sorts, but depressed at the same time not knowing whether she had actually killed herself, or even what she had done to herself. Looking back up to Karin, Kensei asked something else.

"Was.. that all?" Kensei asked quietly.

"No.. What I told you was just the first part." Karin answered just as quietly. "My parents final words were instructions for me to tell you that Ayumi was taken to Kumo in her frozen like state, and that she was being held in a prison somewhere within their village." Karin finished.

"Kumo.." Kensei growled out darkly.

"Kensei.." Hana spoke quietly while putting a hand on his shoulder.

"I.. need a few minutes alone.." Kensei muttered before he started walking away from the group outside, but stopped a few feet away and turned back at them all. "Thank you for passing along the message Karin. And Ayumi.. was.. my mother.. sorry guys." Kensei spoke before turning back, and resuming his trek away from the house.

As all of them watched Kensei slowly fading out of sight, they all remained silent for a moment, unsure of what to do for Kensei.

"I need to talk to Kensei... I'll see you guys later tonight." Naruto spoke up suddenly as he gave Hinata a quick kiss on the lips, before he took off running towards where his brother went off to.

"I just hope he's alright..." Hana muttered quietly.

Seeing her future sister in law so down, Hinata smiled at her and reassured her that everything was going to be alright.

"Just give him some time Hana. Everything will be fine."

"I know.. It's just.. I couldn't imagine what he's going through right now.. and it hurts to know there isn't anything I can do for him right now besides be there for him when he comes back.." Hana explained with tears building up in her eyes.

"Come on now Hana.. Lets get you back inside." Tsunade advised as she wrapped her arm around the pregnant woman, and led Hana and the other girls as well as a grumbling Sasuke back into the house.

With Naruto and Kensei

After tracking down Kensei's chakra signature for a short while with his Rinnegan, Naruto finally found his brother sitting down next to a large circular pool of water that he recognized as the center of the Uzumaki's sacrificial spiral that scared the earth to this day.

"I figured you would be the one to come find me..." Kensei spoke quietly while staring into the water, without even turning his head to acknowledge Naruto's presences.

"I.. don't know what to do.." Kensei spoke again after a few more moments of silence.

"Neither do I.. but I do know what we are going to do." Naruto spoke in a monotone voice that caught Kensei off guard, and caused him to look over at Naruto for the first time since he found him. After looking over at Naruto, he noticed Naruto's Rinnegan blaring, and a scowl across his face.

"And what is that?" Kensei asked not knowing what his little brother was thinking.

"If.. if those assholes from Kumo took grandma... then we are getting her back." Naruto stated simply while gritting his teeth. Taken off guard at what his little brother just said Kensei stood up, and walked over to where Naruto was standing with a serious look on his face.

"Just like that? We are going to just waltz into Kumo.. raid a prison.. and walk out of said prison with my mother? Don't speak like it is such a simple thing Naruto. You don't know what could be lying ahead of us if we even try to go there in the first place." Kensei warned with his eyes narrowed.

"It doesn't matter. If Karin's father spent his last moments on his earth telling Karin to let us know that Kumo has grandma, and where she is at. It's all I need to know." Naruto explained while turning his back to his older brother.

"You can't! We can't! We are just two Uzumaki's.. the LAST of the Uzumaki's... we can't afford to do something so reckless Naruto. Think about it." Kensei warned weakly looking back over to the pool of water.

After a minute or two of silence Naruto spoke up once more.

"You know what?"

"What.." Kensei muttered quietly.

"It only took 25 Uzumaki's to take out almost 3 countries worth of an invading force.. All of which were hell bent on destroying ever last one of us. "WE" will be just fine wiping one village off of the map with just the two of us." Naruto said as Kensei looked back at Naruto once more. "This mark right here is proof of what someone from our clan is capable of doing." Naruto explained while pointing to the pool of water Kensei was previously looking at.

After hearing what Naruto just said Kensei's mood suddenly changed after thinking about what Naruto was telling him.

"You know what... you aren't as dumb as you look... but for once, you are right.." Kensei spoke as his red eyes started to glow while he stared into Naruto's hypnotizing eyes.

"Yeah? Well this may come as a surprise to you, but I am actually smarter than I look all the time.." Naruto shot back with his Rinnegan glowing as well, staring right back into his brother's eyes.

After a few tense moments of not knowing why they were staring each other down, Kensei broke the silence.

"Fine. But we are going to be smart about this."

"It doesn't matter. We just need grandma out of there safely, and bring her back here where she belongs." Naruto responded simply.

"I agree. Lets get back to the house. We leave tomorrow." Kensei spoke as he started walking past Naruto before stopping. "And thanks for coming and checking up on me.. It actually helped make my mind up on what to do. Still don't know how.. but you did." Kensei said as he resumed his walk back to the house.

"Any time." Naruto responded as he walked alongside Kensei.

"You do know that there is a very very.. high chance either if not both of us could be killed right?" Kensei spoke after a few minutes of silence.

"It's a risk I am willing to take. If I turn my back on a family member in need.. let alone my grandmother, and your mother? I'd never be able to look at myself in the mirror ever again, and call myself an Uzumaki. We will get her out of there.. and if I have to destroy that fucking village myself while doing so.. I wont hesitate to do so.." Naruto stated with determination, and a dark look on his face.

"We might need a little help before we go." Kensei spoke up again after thinking a little bit more.

"What do you mean. Don't you think taking anyone else with us would cause too many issues?." Naruto asked.

"Yeah I know.. The girls can't come with us, not that they couldn't help.. but that we can't risk them possibly being captured or killed." Kensei explained.

Growling after hearing that Naruto thought back to when Kumo once tried kidnapping Hinata when she was younger. "I won't allow that to happen again.."

"Neither will I. Neither.. will.. I." Kensei muttered deep voice.
