Chapter 21- Girl Power
First, I would like to thank Decode9 for sending an OC for me to use, who I will be debuting, well, I already did. And all of the cards his OC uses are his (some of the cards are real cards, but you all know what I mean, I hope), so if you have any questions about those cards or the OC, pm him about it. Also, this will be another double-release. Anyways, please enjoy this chapter!
Last Time…
After invading the Materia Base, Keenan was confronted by the Materia Organization. After Nocturnal killed Toby, through Vince's orders, Harper appeared, angered.
Deep in you(The scene opens up to Keenan Serpentine, who's waking up and heading outside)
How to find the strength inside? (Kalka appears before the walking Keenan and Keenan activates his Duel Disk)
It challenges you
Taking all that you can find(It pans to Keenan, whose losing, but a Xavier, with a silhouetted warrior, appears in front of Keenan and puts its hand on Keenan's shoulder, giving him strength)
It's alright, trust in yourself
So come on, it's because you've come this far (Then, Kalka disappears and Keenan and Xavier run forward)
It's waiting for you (A whirlwind strikes the ground in front of them, stopping them. Keenan looks behind him and sees Harper and Harpie Lady, behind her)
You must raise yourself above and touch the sky (Five shadowy figures then appear, stopping Keenan and his friends)
The dreams we see so far (Keenan imagines dueling a silhouetted woman and smiles)
Together makes us who we are (Harper and Xavier stand behind Keenan in support)
So don't let go, you know we're almost there(It begins to rain and Keenan, dueling the five figures, with an silhouetted beast-warrior in front of him, reaches for his Life Point counter, trying to give up. But another Blake appears and smiles, and points to the sky where a gigantic silhouetted machine appears and shot at the figures with its gun-like weapon)
I see you, endless gazing up to the sky, wondering why (Something causes Keenan to look up to the sky and an image of a woman smiling appears. A hand touches his shoulder and he looks back to see just a glimpse of a spirit of a woman before she disappears)
And you feel you can't go on, but you know this isn't the end (Keenan smiles and with his friends' support, he causes the five figures to disappear and the three continue to run)
So come on, it's a lie when shaking in fear(As they're running, Trixie Strike with a silhouetted monster flying with her and a silhouetted boy with a silhouetted armored monster joins them, but the ground in front of them then rumbles and from it emerges Blue Eyes White Dragon, with Vestal, standing on top of it)
You're fooling yourself(Keenan gets knocked back, but his friends encourage him to get back up. Yamato, with Red Eyes Black Dragon, appears and begins fighting the silhouetted opponent. Keenan yells, and with Red Eyes' Black Dragon's support, the silhouetted figure disappears)
It is true you'll never run away from here(The seven friends continue to run and the sun comes out and they stop. Keenan draws the top card of his deck and raises it to the sky as a shadowed beast-warrior appears and he and his friends' monsters stand behind their respective owners)
"I'm not going to tell you again! Let Harper go!" Keenan ordered Vince. But Vince just smiled. "You're a feisty one."
"Sir, let me take him on." Kalka said.
"I don't think so. You lost against him…twice. I might just let Nocturnal waste a few turns."
"Are you saying I'm weaker than Nocturnal?"
"Oh yes. Nocturnal, why don't you show him?"
"Gladly."
"Hold on freak face! I'm dueling him!" Harper yelled.
"You little-"
"Nocturnal! Enough! So, Harper, you want to duel Keenan?"
"Keenan! Are you alright!?" Trixie yelled, running in with Xavier. Vince raised a brow. "And who is this little girl?"
"Hey! I'm not little, got it!?"
"Looks like you two are feisty."
"Look little girl, this doesn't concern you. Go play with your Barbie dolls." Kalka said with a laugh.
"Hey! Don't call me little!"
"Enough!" Vince roared, quieting everyone. "Harper is staying with us. Leave before I force you all to."
"Not until I get Keenan back for killing my little brother!" Harper yelled. A Duel Disk then appeared on Harper. "Let's duel!"
"…If there's no other way." Keenan said sadly.
"Hold on Keenan. I can't let you get hurt. I won't! I'll duel her!" Trixie said.
"What!? You can't Trixie!"
"Aw nice! A cat fight!" Kalka said with a smile.
"I'm not dueling you, flat-chest." Harper said.
"What!? "Flat-chest"?!"
"Ooh, burn!" Kalka laughed.
"I won't let you hurt Keenan!" Trixie said, blushing.
"Keenan, I want to duel you!"
"No, duel this little girl," Vince ordered. "This will be your chance to prove yourself."
"Yes sir." Harper activated her Duel Disk and everyone took their spots, Harper and Trixie across from each other and everyone else on the sidelines. Harper and everyone donned their Duel Gazers while a dark blue flame tattoo covered Trixie's eye, which turned gold. The Augmented Reality activated. "Augmented Reality Vision Link Established."
"DUEL!" The girls yelled.
Harper: 4000
Trixie: 4000
"Everyone who's friends with Keenan deserves to die." Harper raised her arm and the large symbol from previous duels appeared on the ground. Vince smirked. "Yes…the Shadow Province. This little girl has no idea what she got herself into."
"I'll start." Harper drew a card from her deck. "With this new deck the master gave me, I'll send you to the Shadow Realm. First, I activate Dark Summon. By sending a DARK monster from my hand to the grave, I can Special Summon one from my deck. I send Dark Nepthys to the graveyard to summon Dark Simorgh (LV 7)." Harper sent a card and a column of darkness appeared. Seconds later, it disappeared and a large black bird with a halo ring on its back appeared. (ATK: 2700/DEF: 1000)
"Now with this on the field, you aren't allowed to set any cards face-down."
"What!? No sets?! That means I can't use Traps!"
"You don't listen, do you flat-chest? You can use Traps; you just can't set them. But I can. I set 2 cards and end my turn." 2 cards appeared. Trixie drew a card from her deck and studied her hand. "To start things off, I summon E-HERO Lady Heat (LV 4) in Defense Position." A woman with orange hair, wearing a red helmet, red armor and red and white clothing appeared and kneeled. (ATK: 1300/DEF: 1000)
"I end my turn. And check this out! You lose 200 Life Points at every end of my turns." Lady Heat conjured a fireball and shot it at Harper."Arg!"
Harper: 3800
But Harper just smiled. "That was nothing flat-chest. I draw!" Harper drew a card and smiled. "I activate my face-down, Stop Defense. Now your weak monster is switched to Attack Position. Dark Simorgh, attack Lady Heat!" Lady Heat stood up and Dark Simorgh flapped its winged, created a dark tornado that blew away and destroyed Lady Heat, knocking Trixie back into the wall. "Arghhh!"
Trixie: 2600
"Trixie! Trixie! Are you alright!?" Keenan cried.
"Argh….so the...the damage is real? I never…I never dueled this way before." Trixie struggled to say. Also struggling, she stood up. "I better start dueling." Trixie looked at Keenan who looked very worried. That caused Trixie to blush. "I can't let Keenan get hurt. It seems Harper made him sad. Are you…done?"
"Go flat-chest."
"Stop calling me that! I draw!" Trixie drew a card and smiled when she looked at what she drew. "I'm going all out! First, I summon E-HERO Stratos (LV 4) in Attack Position." A hero wearing a blue hero suit with wind propellers on his back appeared. (ATK: 1800/DEF: 300)
"When Stratos is summoned, I can activate one of two effects. Since I can't destroy your face-down, I'll add an "E-HERO" to my hand." Trixie fanned her deck and grabbed a card but immediately summoned it. A masked woman with angel wings, wearing white tights and carrying a bow and arrow appeared and kneeled. (ATK: 1300/DEF: 1000-Tuner)
"If Highwind is added to my hand, she's instantly summoned. I end my turn." Trixie looked at her hand. "She stopped me from setting. But that won't stop me. I'll give it my all!" Harper drew a card (4) and ordered an attack. Dark Simorgh conjured a dark tornado, blowing away and destroying Stratos. "Ahhh!"
Trixie: 1700
"Just give up flat-chest. You're not strong enough to beat me. Keenan's the one I want to duel." Harper said.
"N-no. No!"
"Excuse me?"
"I can't allow you to hurt Keenan. I…like…I won't let you hurt him! I won't give up ever! I won't give up until my body gives in!"
"Oh, don't give me that sappy crap. That always did make me gag!"
"That's it! I won't stand for this anymore! Trixie, let me take your place!" Keenan said.
"About time. Flat-chest here should have never dueled me. It's not like she's any good."
"Don't talk about her like that!"
"No. It's alright Keenan. I'm going to prove I'm not weak! And just because I don't have a huge pair like you doesn't mean anything."
"Well how about this? When the monster summoned by Dark Summon destroys a monster by battle, I can destroy another monster. Like that other one you have."
"No, Highwind!" Dark Simorgh conjured a dark tornado again and destroyed Highwind.
"I draw!" Trixie drew a card, looked at it and smiled. (Trixie's Hand: 6) "First, I Normal Summon E-HERO Ocean (LV 4) in Attack Position." A warrior with fish-like skin wearing silver armor with a dolphin fin on his head, carrying a crescent-shaped trident appeared. (ATK: 1500/DEF: 1200)
"Next up is Polymerization. I fuse Ocean and another Lady Heat from my hand to Fusion E-HERO Absolute Zero (LV 8) in Attack Position." The two HEROes fused together and a warrior wearing white and blue tights with white gloves, with ice armor and a cape appeared. (ATK: 2500/DEF: 2000)
"Next, I use Monster Reborn to bring back Stratos. Absolute Zero, attack Dark Simorgh!" Stratos reappeared and Absolute Zero held out his hand and a stream of ice emerged and shot at Dark Simorgh, but the latter conjured a black tornado, nullifying the stream of ice and striking and destroying Absolute Zero. But when Absolute Zero shattered, ice scattered everywhere, freezing and, seconds later, destroying everything Harper controlled. "Very impressive from that little girl," Vince said with a smile. "She used Absolute Zero's effect to her advantage. With that, she cleared Harper's field, allowing for a direct attack and the ability to set cards again."
"I guess that little girl isn't as weak as we thought." Nocturnal said with a frown. But Vince shook his head. "No, you fool. Harper will surely be victorious. That little girl has no skills. But I do want to see how this girl will fair."
"Stratos, it's your turn, attack directly!" Stratos attacked with his wind propellers, knocking Harper back.
Harper: 2000
Trixie: 1500
"Now that I can set, I set 1 card and end my turn." (1). A card appeared behind Stratos just as Harper composed herself. "You little flat-chest virgin! How dare you!? You think you can just attack me like that and get away with it!?"
"I'm here to protect Keenan! Go!" Harper ignored Trixie and drew a card. "I activate my other face-down, Call of the Haunted. With this, I can call back my Dark Simorgh. But don't worry flat-chest; I'll tribute him to Tribute Summon Troposphere (LV 6) in Attack Position." The fearsome dark winged-beast appeared but quickly disappeared and a blue-skinned, silver armored bird wearing black metal arm bands with large multi-colored wings appeared. (ATK: 2400/DEF: 2000)
"Troposphere, attack Stratos!" Troposphere flapped its wings, creating a gust of wind that blew Stratos into the air. Stratos fell to the ground and shattered.
Trixie: 900
"Trixie! Are you alright!?" Keenan yelped out. Seeing that Keenan was worried for Trixie and not her when she was damaged made Harper angry. "So, you don't care for me anymore? You got a new friend?"
"Harper, you don't understand anymore. I can't be friends with someone who's helping the bad guys."
"You know what? It's not even about them having Toby captured anymore."
"Oh really? Then what is it about?"
"It's about revenge."
"Revenge?"
"You, Xavier…and that flat-chested virgin friend of yours. I'll get revenge on all of you!"
"What did we do?!" Xavier asked.
"Flat-chest, let's start with you. You got in my way of dueling Keenan. So I'll make sure to send you to the Shadow Realm first. Next is you Xavier. You actually attacked me when you dueled Kalka. You injured me, so I'll get my revenge on you too! And you Keenan. Oh Keenan. Not only did you kill my little brother but you told Xavier to attack me! How dare you!?"
"What were we supposed to do!? Let Kalka go!?"
"Whatever. You knew what would happen."
"Well, check this out! I activate Hero Counterattack! Now that you destroyed my monster, you have to pick a card from my hand." Trixie said.
"…And then what flat-chest?"
"Why do you keep calling me that?! If I had what you had, at least mine wouldn't be fake!" Kalka "oohed" and Nocturnal and Vestal laughed while everyone else remained quiet. "S-shut up! I choose the far left!" Trixie looked at the far left which would be her far right and smiled. "Aw, too bad! Maybe the blood for your brain is going to your boobs, because you picked E-HERO The Heat. And I'll summon him." A warrior with red, white and gold skin and armor appeared. (ATK: 1600/DEF: 1200)
"Not only is The Heat summoned but your Troposhere is destroyed!" The Heat ran up to the winged-beast and punched it, intending to destroy it. But it shielded itself with its wings, sending The Heat back to Trixie. "Huh? Why isn't your monster destroyed? I used Hero Counterattack's other effect to destroy it!"
"Exactly flat-chest. That's why my monster wasn't destroyed. Troposhere is unaffected by Traps. I end my turn." Before Trixie drew a card, she studied the field. "Harper's strong. No wonder. But that doesn't mean I'll give up! I won't give up until I win! She has Troposhere, which means my Traps won't work. And she still has that face-down of hers. There's no way she won't spring it when I attack."
"Trixie! You can do it!" Keenan cheered.
"Yeah! There's no way you'll lose! You can defeat Harper! Go shawty!" Xavier added. At first, Trixie was shocked, and hesitant. But quickly, she smiled. "Thanks you two!"
"Ugh! What filth! You three are just such great friends now huh?!" Harper said coldly.
"Hey! You're focused on me!" Trixie yelled. She drew a card and studied her hand. (Trixie's Hand: 1). "First, I summon E-HERO Plasma (LV 2) in Attack Position." A small girl wearing silver armor appeared. She was constantly generating plasma. (ATK: 900DEF: 500-Tuner)

Once a turn, you may select a HERO monster on the field. All monsters on your field become the same level as the selected monster. You can't conduct you Battle phase the turn you activate this effect.
The Materia Organization, save for Vince, started laughing, including Harper. "Oh look at her! She's as small as you are flat-chested! Haha!"
"Hey! STOP calling me that! I am just 14 after all! And don't count her out! Because she'll help me win! I can choose one of my heroes and every other monster I have has their levels increased to that. Basically, both of my monsters are level 4. And because that is, I can Synchro Summon! I Tune The Heat and Plasma to Xyz Summon E-HERO Virtue of Friendship: Lock in Attack Position." Plasma turned into 4 green rings. The rings passed through The Heat, who in turn, transformed into 4 stars. A beam of light enveloped The Heat, passing through the rings, and a bulky, dark-skinned, mechanical humanoid man clad in electric blue and black streaked armor appeared. He wore a black helmet that had several points and wielded a large sword.

"When Lock is summoned, I can attach two monsters from my graveyard and equip them to him." Two cards shot from the graveyard and Trixie equipped them to Lock. (OLU: 2)
"Wait! Like Overlay Units?! But how!? Lock is a Synchro monster!"
"Lock's a special type of monster. Lock, attack Troposphere!" Lock ran up to the winged beast and destroyed it with a slice.
Harper: 1400
Trixie: 900
"I end my turn." Harper drew a card (5) and activated her Trap. "You'll lose soon enough flat-chest. I activated Minor Goblin Official. During each of your Standby Phases, you lose 500 Life Points."
"500 Life Points? That means I won't last two turns!"
"Hey, did you actually figure that out by yourself? I set 1 card and activate Dark Core. I-"
"Stop right there Harper! I'll stop that spell with Synchro Reverse Ray. Your card is targeting my Synchro monster, so I can negate it and also destroy a card. Like your face-down!" A portal that was growing bigger due to Dark Core suddenly got smaller until it disappeared. Then a ray appeared and destroyed Harper's face-down. "Grrr…I set a monster and a card, then activate Wave Motion Cannon. I end my turn." An unknown monster and a card appeared and a large cannon appeared. Trixie drew a card and then she was hit. "Arghh!"
Trixie: 400
Harper laughed. "Don't tell me you forgot my Trap card, Minor Goblin Official already. You lose 500 Life Points every Standby Phase of yours."
Trixie looked at her hand. "That Wave-Motion Cannon will defeat me next turn if I don't stop it. And her Trap will finish me too." She said to herself. Trixie looked at Keenan who was smiling and smiled back. She blushed. "There is no way I'm losing this duel. I can't let Keenan get hurt. And I'll go all out on Harper to win. Harper! I'm going to win!"
"Don't make me laugh! You might have a strong monster, but I dare you to attack. Here, I'll give you a preview of your defeat. I activate Dark Gift. I can reveal one of my face-downs to you in exchange of me drawing 2 cards and you drawing 1 card." Harper drew 2 cards, grabbed her set monster and showed it to Trixie, shocking her. "You have Marshmallon!?"
"That's right! So once you attack, this duel's over!"
"Oh, that ain't ill! That means if Trixie attacks, she'll lose. But if she does nothing, she'll lose still!" Xavier explained. "What do you think Keenan?" After no response, he turned to Keenan, who seemed focused on the duel. Then he smiled. "Come on man. Trixie has this in the bag. Hey Trixie! Don't give up! You can win this!"
"Keenan….he's rooting for me…" Trixie said blushing. She smiled and nodded in confirmation. "Right! The only way I can win this duel is for this last draw to be the one." Trixie looked at her deck and drew a card. She smiled. "Alright Harper! Let's end this! This is for Keenan! I activate Rank Up! I can give Lock a Rank equal to his Level. Since his level is 8, his Rank is 8. Next, the card I drew; Synchro Buster. I can select a Synchro monster with Overlay Units. Now you lose 200 Life Points times the Rank of Lock."
"What!? No! So that means…"
"You lose 1600 Life Points, more than your Life Points!" Lock ran up to Harper and slashed her with her sword, forcing her to her knees. "Arghh!"
Harper: 0
Trixie: Winner
The Augmented Reality disappeared, the Shadow Province disappeared and Trixie's Duel Tattoo disappeared as Keenan and Xavier ran up to her. "Yo! That was some tight skills shorty!" Xavier said with a smile.
"Yeah. Nice going!" Keenan said as he hugged Trixie, causing her to blush a dark red. "Thanks Xavier. Hey, I'm sorry I didn't shake your hand when we met before."
"Naw, naw. Don't sweat it shawty. We're tight." Xavier held out his fist, hoping Trixie would take it. She looked at it and fist-bumped with Xavier. "You little tramp!" Harper yelled, getting the three's attentions. "It disgusts me knowing I lost to someone like you!" Vince looked on and seconds later motioned to Nocturnal. Knowing what Vince wanted, he picked up Toby and threw him to Xavier, shocking him and Keenan. "Wh-what?! I-it's Toby!"
"What are you trying to do!? You just gave back Toby!" Keenan said, still shocked. Vince didn't respond and walked out. Nocturnal and Vestal then both followed Vince, leaving Kalka. Keenan smiled. "Harper! Harper! Look, we got Toby back! You can come back to me-us! You can come back now! There's no need to be with these creeps anymore!"
"You expect me to come back to you all after what you all did to me?"
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"Flat-chest, you think this is over between us, well you're wrong! Xavier, you actually attacked me to win against Kalka. You actually attacked your friend! And you Keenan. Not only did you tell Xavier to attack me, but you also killed my little brother! I'll make it you pay for that! I'll make you ALL pay!" Harper then ran off. The three tried to run after her, but Kalka stopped them. Then he handed Keenan a pill. "Get this into Toby's system. This will revive Toby, but he'll be in a coma after he's resurrected. But after enough time has passed, the pill won't work. So you better get him to the hospital. Ha ha ha!" Kalka pulled out an item Vince also secretly gave him and threw at the four, creating dark smoke. The smoke caused them to faint. Then, a portal appeared and transported the four.

Keenan and the gang get Toby to the hospital. Then, after enough bickering and getting at each other's necks, Rex and Harper duel each other, intending to send the other to the Shadow Realm. Next Time: The Last Straw
