Sweet air filled Sam's lungs as he gasped clutching at his throat coughing with painful tears in his eyes, when he fell to the ground he landed right on his knees and that hurt like a bitch but the minute he could breathe still wheezing he turned and scuttled towards Dean who looked at the ceiling vacantly.

"Dean! Dean! Please say something Dean!" he wheezed in a harsh voice.

Lucifer could feel his rage like a burning fire through him and without mercy he let Zachariah feel his anger as he focused it into his hand wrapped around the other angel's neck.

Zachariah couldn't scream when Lucifer's hand glowed hot and began to burn his flesh since it cut off his vocals.

Without turning around or taking his eyes off the other angel Lucifer spoke slow his voice flat and emotionless to the demon that stood attentively at his back on his knee awaiting his master's orders.

"You go find my brother Castiel tell him his lover needs him"

The demon bowed low and turned into a dark mist that swirled through the air and disappeared through an air duct right above them.

Sam couldn't keep his tears from spilling over as he hugged his older brother towards him.

"God this is all my fault I should have forced him to leave" he thought and glanced up at Lucifer who still held the angel who was still burning.

"You couldn't leave well enough alone brother. You attack my bride. You cause him tears. You put your filthy hands on his body! I'm going to enjoy reducing your mind into pieces and then rebuild just to do it all over again"

His words sent chills tingling throughout Sam's body, the youngest Winchester was disturbed when he looked at the angel.

His eyes were a glow with such a look it frightened Sam to new extents.

What he saw there was what true free will really was the utter ability to choose to do something horrible to choose to carry out with one's own two hands, to choose to revel in the pain of other and what made Sam shake was even though he figured out all of that what scared him more than anything was the ability to choose to ENJOY it.

The angel before him chose to enjoy the pain he was afflicting and it worried Sam to the point of physically shaking that he actually didn't feel that was such a bad thing.

Without, turning away he watched as Lucifer gripped Zachariah's head with his free hand and without warning twisted it violently all the way around causing blood to splatter out ever orifice of the angel's face.

Lucifer sneered and dropped the limp body "That should keep you docile and in agony for a short while so I can attend my beloved"

Sam noticed without horror and fascination when Lucifer looked down at his right hand and found blood staining it.

He whipped a pocket handkerchief from the front of his coat pocket and wiped his hand clean with a disgusted look on his face.

When he was done he left the piece of cloth fall lazily from his fingers and catching fire in mid-fall.

Lucifer couldn't bear to see such beautiful tears on his beloved face that were not caused by him personally.

Everything to Sam's happiness to his sorrow would be caused by Lucifer himself and with that thought tucked in the back of the archangel's mind he fell gracefully to one knee and gently extended his finger to catch a tear as it slid down Sam's cheek.

"Shh my darling your tears are too precious to waste for such a diseased mind as Zachariah's "he placed the one tear to his lips.

Sam couldn't help as more tears poured from his eyes but at as they continued to flow a beautiful smile came to his face.

"Your wrong I'm not crying because I feel sorry for him, these are tears of happiness because I know he will suffer"

His words combined with his beautiful tears and smile stole Lucifer's breathe away he had never seen such a beautiful creature in all he life that had resided on earth.

Lucifer smiled and kissed his face and Sam who was mortified at his own words and his sudden elation at being saved didn't pull away from his so called fiancés touch.

"Suffer he will my queen" Lucifer whispered pulling away to his feet as his felt Castiel materialize behind him.
