Chapter 21: Lucas's Move and Takashi's Choice.
As the cloaked figure now known as Lucas stood on the roof and he stared at the group below him. As he looked, he could not help but smile as he watched Raven try to get up and once he did, he staggered a little forward away from the wall.
"What do you want?" Raven asked as he looked as if he was ready to fight, but Lucas just smiled as he looked at the young pirate who could barely stand right.
"Oh, please. You have no chance against me when you were health." Lucas said in a mocking tone as he turned himself to the side as they all saw Ami tried to the branch behind him.
'Gasp' "Ami!" Aki yelled in shock as she saw her sister in trouble and all of them got an angry look on their faces. Lucas smiled as he jumped down with the up most ease. He landed in the center of the court yard and watched as Raven charged towards him.
"I'll get you." Raven said as he got closer to Lucas, but as he did, Lucas pushed his arm forward and it phased though him. As the hand went into him, Raven felt over whelming pain and he doubled over to the ground unconscious. As he pulled his hand out of Raven, he turned towards the shocked group as he spoke.
"Now, are you guys going to follow your fool of a captain?" Lucas mocked as both Draco and Edgar became angry at his insults.
"Hey, don't you insult my captain." Draco said as he charged forward as he drew his right sword and planned it to slash as he yelled, "Dragon Claw." He got closer to Lucas, who just smiled as he said.
"Soru." just as he said, he vanished from sight. Draco was shocked as he stopped in his tracks and nervously looked around for any sign of him. As he continued to look, he didn't notice Lucas suddenly appeared behind him.
"Draco, behind you." Edgar yelled as he tried to warn his crew mate, but it was to late because while Draco turned around, Lucas phase his hand inside Draco chest..
"AHHHHHH." Draco yelled as he felt over whelming pain that he knew Raven must have felt too flow over him. Draco then lost consciousness as he fell back and landed next to Raven. After he pulled his hand from the down man, Lucas turned towards the other with a smile as he spoke.
"Any more, or can I take my prey?" Lucas asked as he saw the fear in their eyes and he loved the look. After a few more minutes, the other four all nod. This made Lucas smile as he vanished again and then appeared over the bleeding Port, who he picked up by the shirt and vanished with both men. After he left, Edgar and Aki ran to check on the down pirates as Takashi got Ami down. As she was placed down, she instantly warped her arms around his leg as she began to cry. Takashi smiled as he kneeled down and hugged the young girl. After calming her down, he picked her up and then looked over the roof to the other as he spoke.
"How are they?" he asked as he got closer to the edge.
"Fine, just knocked out." Edgar said as he and Aki tended to the fallen hero's. Takashi smiled as he hopped off the roof and landed on his feet. He place Ami down and she instantly ran to her father who held her tight. He then went to the other to help them.
Meanwhile back on the marine ship, Bubbles had a meeting with Sia and Bert as he looked out the window into the open night.
"Well, what should our plan be." he asked as he did not bother to turn around. As the two lower level marine looked at each other, Bert decided to speak.
"Well, there's this small island that is near by." Bert said as he felt he should not have as Bubbles spoke again.
"No, they might not be there and besides. A noble family lives there." Bubbles said as he still did not bother to turn around.
"Well, all accounts said the ship is in a very bad shape. SO, to get past Reverse Falls. So, he would be going to Loguetown." Sia said and this made Bubbles turn around with a smile.
"Yes, so we are heading right there. And tell a marines to be on the look for them. Now." Bubbles said as reached under the his desk a pulled out a medium sized box and place it in front of him. He then opened it, revealing two devil fruit sin it as he said, "Last time, those two beat you bad. SO, I'm offering you guys an upgrade if you want it." he said as both Sia and Bert looked at the fruits then each other, and then back to the fruit as they thought it over on the offer.
Back on the other side of the island, Port and Scar were tied to two large tables in the middle of a large room. Soon, the door opened and Lucas calmly walked inside.
"Well, are we cozy?" Lucas asked with a smile as he walked forward with a smile. As he came closer, Port and Scar started to struggle.
"Let us go you freak." Port said as he tried to break his restraints, and this remark up set Lucas as he stepped closer and then reached for a small table and lifted up a scalpel from it. He then loomed over Port.
"Freak, now I'll show you one." Lucas said as he reached for his mask and then removed it. Port stared in shock at what he saw as he also watched the scalpel move closer to him.
The sun shone through the window to the room Raven was healing in. Raven was sitting in the middle of the floor with a doctor was wrapping a bandage around his arm.
"Now young man, I would like to take it easy for a few days so your internal injuries can heal." the elder doctor explained to Raven, but he was not really lessoning as he answered.
"Yeah, yeah. I think about it." Raven said impassionedly as he was waiting until he can get going on his travel. The doctor looked at him with a glare as he was being ignored and to prove his point on the resting, he simply placed his pointer finger in the center of Raven's arm and just pressed. "AHHHHHH." Raven screamed as he fell to the ground holding his arm as he continued to whale in pain. As the doctor began to pack up, there was a laugh in the room witch came from the door. As the doctor looked at the door, he saw Draco was the one laughing.
"Geez Raven. You should really be nicer to the people you fik you up after you get beat down." Draco said laughing at his joke, Raven looked at him with a glare. SO, he kicked a chair, sending it flying, breaking over Draco's head. Which made the swordsman fall back and hold his head in pain. The doctor shock his head at the young men action as he got up wih his bag and proceeded to walk out. As walked out the door, Edgar walked in with two bowls of food and once he turned to see both of his crew mates were in pain, he groaned.
"Oh, come on guys. If you keep this up, we're never leave this island." Edgar said as he placed the two bowls on the table and watched Raven began to munch away at it while Draco crawled towards the table to get his food. As he watched the two eat away ate it, Edgar just smiled as he left the room to get them a second helping, for he knew thay would want some more. As we walked down the hall, he notice one of the doors to the outside court yard was open and he saw Aki, Ami, and Takashi sitting out there. He could not hear much, but could tell Ami was crying from her body language. So, he cropped closer to them and then he could he them.
"B-b-b-b-but Takashi." Ami said as she hiccupped from her crying as she held the young man tightly.
"I'm sorry Ami, but I've made my decision." Takashi said as he held her tighter.
"Are you sure this is what you want?" Aki asked as she looked said at her long time friend.
"Yes, I'm am." Takashi said with a smile as he held both sisters, and leaving the eavesdropping Edgar confused as he decided to leave the three alone and then continued to the kitchen.
(2 days later.)
After a few more days of rest and Edgar keeping them apart, Raven and Draco were ready to leave. SO, Aki and Ami's father had them summoned to the living room along with Edgar. The three men stood near the door and then bowed on one near to the noble.
"Less then a week ago you three came and not only stopped those traffickers, but saved my life and my daughters, " their father said with a smile as he stood up and then bowed to the three, which shocked me. After he got up, he snapped his fingers and the door opened revealing three large treasure chests. "These are for you three to help you on your journey." he said as three helpers carried them out.
"Thanks, it was nothing." Raven said as he and his crew got up, and turned to leave the house until Takashi spoke up.
"Wait." he said as he stepped forward, stood in front of every one, and then got down on one knee as he spoke, "Raven, I would like to join you on your journey and help navigate you, and the others to our dreams." after saying that, Takashi looked up at Raven and had a smile on his face as he hoped he go.
"Welcome aboard." Raven said as he held out his hand and helped Takashi up. The two then shock hands as Draco, Edgar, and the noble family smiled. As the four started to leave, they were stopped this time by Ami and Aki.
"Wait, we have something for you too." Aki said as both girls brought them two boxes. The first was from Aki and it was full of red muscle shirts for Raven. He smiled as he took the box. Then the next one was from Ami, and once Raven opened it, he had a great smile on his face.
"This is great." Raven said as he lifted a large black flag with a blood red skull and cross bones. As the other three looked at it, they all smiled at it.
"Now we are a true pirate crew." Draco said as he and the others looked at the flag that Ami made for them.
"This is our ship?" Takashi said with a groan as he laid eyes on their ratty old ship.
"Yep, this is our ship." Raven said proudly. Takashi looked it over and then spoke.
"I don't think this will make it any were." he said as he looked at his new crew.
"Well, what should we do then. Because I'm not just getting rid of it." Raven said as he looked stern look on his face. After a few minutes, Draco spoke up.
"Well, we could find a Shipwright to check it out." Draco said and all three agreed. The three then boarded up and then took off from the island with Aki and Ami waved them goodbye. As they were leaving, an old man runs up to the dock and started to yell.
"Hey, that young punk took my Master Map." he yell and shock his hand as the ship left and the sister laughed. The three crew looked at the old man, then each other, and then turned back to look at there new navigator, who was looking at a map. He turned to them and smiled as he spoke.
"Hey, I'm still the Captain of Thieves." he said with a smile and this got a smile from them as they continued on their way.
