In order for Point Man to fully develop with the crew of the Normandy, he will need to speak with them and converse matters with them. To whoever thinks this is a bad idea, please speak now.

Point Man (Ghost):
Got up in the usual time. Today I am supposed to see some Mordin Solus guy who wants to ask questions about me. Thinking back to what Shepard told me I wondered why I even agreed to it. Being a lab rat was something I was done with as soon as I learned of all the things Harlan Wade had done to me and my brother when we were kids.
Before I decide to go to doctor Solus's lab, I decide to warm myself up for the days events. Stretching out my body, I begin to breathe in deeply and summon my inner soldier. When I was Snake Eater, they thought us how not to only be strong as a team, but to be strong when standing alone. We had to learn everything, from hand to hand combat seminars, to weapons changes, to making home-made explosives. We even took bladed weapon combat training and learned how to survive out in jungle and wilderness environments. We were made to be not just soldiers, but warriors fighting in the jungle, desert, snow, canyons, and pretty much anywhere you can think of. I guess it was my training that kept me alive so far. I read about Shepard. I know who she is now. But what I can't get out of my mind is her personal history. Loosing family, friends, a team. So much pain underneath that rock hard shell of hers. She reminds me of myself.
But Shepard isn't the only one I read about. Garrus Vakarian former turian C-Sec officer of the Citadel. From cop who didn't play by the rules to total ass kicking bonanza. No way anyone back at Fort Bragg let alone F.E.A.R. would believe me if I told them what I knew about these interesting people. Which brings me to a sad thought. Two of some of what the world, or galaxy has to offer are dead because of me.
Samara.
Zaeed.
Both of these good fighters are dead because of my miss doings. And now I feel like shit. Sure Paxton was the asshole who killed Samara, but I might have been able to prevent that had I been more sneaky. I'm supposed to be great at what I do, and now two people who don't deserve to die are dead and are caught in limbo because of my mistakes.
What a fool I've been.
Getting my head out of my regrets I continued on with my exercises. I did 100 push ups, ran a half mile under a period of 2 1/2 minutes and lastly did 214 sit ups.
As I got up from my exercises, I wiped the sweat from my forehead. I push myself because I have to stay as the best there is. Not because it is what Armacham believed in, but because I have to be in order for these people to survive. Shepard and her shipmates are in jeopardy because of me being here. That man with the shades and white hair. He had to be the ace behind all of this. Was he a member of Armacham? I hoped not, it would only mean Jin didn't make it and neither did my sister.
Speaking of my sister, I still wonder why it was that she showed me the image of the Reapers in that hallucination. What did she mean by showing me what was soon to come? Does she actually believe that I can do it? That I can stand by these people and wait for the coming doom that will be brought on by all life?
"You shouldn't doubt yourself you know."
I look behind me in surprise and am slightly startled yet also glad to see someone friendly.
"Samara." I say to her as I feel a bit of sorrow swell inside of me seeing her face melted away. It was hard to look at her without staring at what was left of her face. One could not help but look into those eyeless sockets and mutilated face. Damn you Fettle. Because of him Samara is stuck in limbo.
"Ghost...what happened could not have been avoided, you did what was necessary." Samara said trying to hide the fact that she is now among the helpless spirits that walk forever unless finally being resolved of what keeps them here.
"Samara please...don't do this." I say not wanting her to comfort me for getting her killed.
"It was unavoidable...compared to the others I am glad it was I and not anyone else. I am willing to accept death. The same could not be said about Zaeed." Samara says reminding me that I have a pissed off bloodthirsty revenge craving undead mercenary after me now.
"He will not be able to come after you so long as I am able to ward him." Great now I have in-fighting amongst the Normandy's crew.
"Ghost...you have to be strong not for yourself but for Shepard and everyone else. I have seen the change in you. You are more than just a soldier in the field. You are a brother who only wishes to free his sister's spirit and relinquish his mistake." Samara says as she walks closer. I slide down to my bottom and I begin to think of a way of even finding my sister. She is out there somewhere, she needs to be freed from whatever cage Armacham has her in.
"Not all is lost Ghost... I know you can right what is wrong. I must go now for my time is short. Farewell until then." Before Samara leaves I have one thing left to ask.
"Samara."
"Yes?" She asks as she stops her leave.
"If...there was a way to bring you back...would you want me to save you?" I asks, knowing how foolish it was to ask of such a thing knowing that it would be impossible. "Ghost...that is for you to decide. Not me." And like that, the Justicar was gone. I would have loved to have known her well, but like Zaeed she is gone because of me.
It was easy finding Mordin Solus's lab. I was wearing the same spacer clothes that Liara had fetched me and i was now sitting down on a table having this fast talking thin shaped, wide eyed alien scientist running test on me.
"Hmmm you seem very well fit, have lots of high levels of adrenaline and appear to be far more superior than most humans. Interesting." Mordin said in a fast hyper speeded tone of speech.
"Yes you are quite quicker too than most humans as well you seem to be almost manufactured to be the perfect soldier. How curious." Mordin continued. I can't help myself but I have the urgent tendency to just get off this damn table and leave. I hated these test. They all reminded me too much of Armacham. Hopefully it won't be long until the doctor has had his fun and decides to let me go.
"Alright seem to be finished you can go. But before yo leave I would like from you a blood sample if you don't mind. It will help me better understand your biological system if you would allow me to keep a sample." Mordin asked mentioning my blood. Why the hell not. Nothing wrong with giving him some blood so he can toy with. It beats happening to come up here and letting him run some experiments on my brain waves as well as my heart speed.
I nod for him to go ahead. He had my permission and with it drew a small tube of blood from my arm. With it he could do whatever, so long as I don't have to do more test. After he got his blood sample, I got off the table and bid my goodbye to the salarian doctor. From what I read on his dossier I had an appreciation for him, from what I read he was the one who stayed to help a bunch of people in a gang infested space station called Omega and was willing to help a bunch of sick people and risk his life to make them better. Something like that never goes unnoticed. Maybe that's why Shepard wanted him.
What I can't put my finger on however is who these Collectors are. They sounded cheesy. Almost something out of a science fiction film or something. Maybe I'll ask around when I get the time. But for now I want to get something to eat. I can go for something satisfying. I walk out of the lab and I walk to the door that leads to the CIC. In my process of getting to the elevator, I take a quick few glances and see that no one is staring at me. Which in all truth is beyond a good thing. Last thing I want is to be the center of everyone's mind when so much needs to be done. So long as they know I'm not going to brutally massacre them along with my brother, than that's good enough for me.
As I step into the elevator, I hit a button that reads Crew Quarters and I take my leave to get something to eat. From what I was told, there was only one cook on this space ship and that the dinning table is located in the Crew Quarters.
The door opens and I take my steps outside. I make my way to the table where I spot two people sitting down. I don't recall their names, nor do I care to really know them. I sit down and I take the moment to relax for a bit before I do anything else. The two others who are seated at the table don't even acknowledge me. They ignore me even being there which is alright and fine by me. Getting up to go and see if there is anything to eat I walk to where I see a man busy making something for breakfast.
I watch for a few seconds before he turns to acknowledge me. He looks like an old man with a slight hint of a brownish tan. He sounds old even somewhere in the lines of someone being in their fifties or late forties.
"Ah...new guy right?"
I give a nod of approval to his assumption and I don't know if he will treat me differently knowing that I am the one who had gotten them in invested into my problems or if he will treat me like everyone else here. "I am almost finished with one of my recipes for everyone to chow down on. breakfast won't be served till another three minutes I'm afraid." He says notifying me when it will be time to eat.
I gave a nod and then turn around to go ahead and explore around the ship while I got a few moments. Looking around I become interested in the walkway that leads to a large door to my left. With nothing better to do I decide to check the place out and maybe have a better understanding of the ship that I will be calling home. Going on my way I begin to take my small trip across the clicking sounds of the floor as I finally make my way to the large round door. Pressing the green holographic button I watch as the door slowly opens up revealing one face I was familiar of.
"Ah its you." Garrus Vakarian. The rogue space cop who decided to go bad ass and follow a lady with a space ship out across the stars of space. Honestly how much more wilder and bizarre can these people be than the ones I have met already. From what I read about this guy he seems to be a good enough person. Read he was a hell of a sniper too. Can't wait to see what he can do.
"Do you need something or are just here to look at the Thanix cannon?" He asks me as I invite myself into the gun chamber taking interest in the huge cannon. We had giant guns in the military. Giant Destroyer's would be packing cannons capable of blowing up the entire island lands of Hawaii. I can't ever help myself but appreciate and respect a weapon for what it is. Anything that can kill should be respected for what is it is and should be handled with care. I recall cleaning the huge guns on warships back when I was being transported to Afghanistan when I was younger in my late teens.
"Interested in the Thanix cannon I see. You should know that this nice piece of weaponry is one of the reasons why most of us are all here and how Shepard, me and pretty much everyone a part of the fire team were capable of destroying the Collectors." Again he mentions the Collectors, who were they? I couldn't really find the time to look them up in the Codex of the omi-tool Liara gave me.
"Do tell me who exactly are the Collectors?"
Garrus just looked at me for a moment but then began explaining. "To be short they were at one time working for a bunch of genocidal machines that are hell-bent in destroying all sentient life in the galaxy. But ever since I and well... Shepard mainly as well as everyone else here stopped them, they are one more problem scratched off of our 'to do list' before the Reapers officially arrive."
The Reapers I knew about. From some classified footage that was given specially for me to view from a certain blue woman I was able to view the destruction of a giant squid like Cthulhu monster. A giant Cthulhu monster that was capable of destroying nearly an entire fleet and was able to devastate half of the Citadel. The supposed to be fortress the Council sits at. Something that bugs me is how blind this Council is. They have all this proof of a giant sized robotic monster that was going to kill them all, and yet they refuse to believe in Shepard. It makes me sick just thinking about their blind idiocy. But is it idiocy or is it fear? Were they afraid to believe that the end was nigh? Or were they just the person giving a deaf ear to the one who was calling out the end to all life?
"I'm sure you kicked their assess." I say returning to the conversation I was having. Garrus gave off a little chuckle as he moves over to some box and sits down. "Well your right about that part. But still it doesn't stop the Reapers from coming. If we don't warn our people and tell them to get off their ignorant assess and come deal with an army of machines, than who else is going to fight off a coming invasion of perhaps thousands of Reapers." Garrus had a point. One Reaper was able to destroy a fully armored armada of war ships. Plus the Councils defenses were creamed before an hour even passed. One can't help but feel the gloom in all this.
"Would you laugh if I say you kinda remind me of a friend of mine." I say wanting to put the melancholy of the coming doom aside.
"He, he," He chuckles. "just who do I remind you of exactly?" Garrus asked me.
"I said you kind of reminded me of a friend. There's a difference between kinda and of actually being reminded of someone." I correct the turian sniper.
"Well then who do I seem to be like?" Garrus asks.
"A friend named Kenny. He and I were in the military together. He was a friend for a short while until he was sent off to fight in another location in the border line of enemy territory." I leave out the part about Afghanistan and the part of me serving in the war on terrorism. "He was a ranger and he had to investigate a local area harboring enemy weapons. He went and he never came back. From what I was able to pick up from the various conversations from other members of the base, he and his unit ran into an ambush that was waiting for them. They were fed false information about where the enemy was located. When they got there, they came under fire from enemy units hiding out in hills and in local houses. None of them stood a chance." I pause to reflect that day and then I continue.
"From camera feed on one of the Ranger's helmets we were able to confirm the fighting lasted no longer than 5 minutes and sixteen seconds before all fourteen of them were wiped out." I say with a hint of sorrow and hope that he could understand where I was coming from.
"I can relate." Garrus says, and then he begins to tell me his own story. "I ran with a small group of people. We were a bunch of guys just looking to right wrongs. Almost what Shepard had been doing back when she and some of the original crew members of the original Normandy had done back when we were hunting down a rogue agent of the Spectre's." I memory note to remember the word Spectre so I could look up about these agents.
"To make a long story short all you really have to know is that we were doing well with what we were doing. We had killed a lot of bad people and done a lot of good for people who needed help. Until...that bastard Sidonis betrayed us." Garrus says as he tightens his fist. The very name of the person who betrayed him must have been enough to build anger into his very nature.
"You want to talk about it or should I just stop talking."
"All you need to know is that Sidonis is one problem off my back and am glad to be rid off. From here on out I am the same good old turian former C-Sec officer now running with one of the best ships in the galaxy." Garrus says to me and gives a smile. At least that is what I think he is giving off since its hard with the face. Regardless I do my best to pose a smile. "Nice talking to you, its good to know that you aren't some mute psychopath who likes to make our lives a living hell." Garrus says jokingly.
"If you want hell I could go back to being a pain and keep my mouth shut throughout the process." I say keeping my smile. "Nah I like you the way your behaving right now. See around." With that hint as a sign of taking my leave I do so and walk out of the gun battery letting the turian go back to doing his business.
Leaving the gun battery chamber I continue walking through the ships Crew Quarters. The kitchen and the dining hall, if you could call it a hall, was small and perhaps worthy of maybe a max of ten maybe twelve and nor more. I take a look towards the sick bay and I recall that day or was it night? That time when I was assisting a doctor woman with some casualties from the extraction mission that me and Liara had sent ourselves on. Fettle perhaps would have allowed them to die had I not dragged him along. And perhaps maybe without his help, maybe me and Liara might have not made it very far. But none of that is truly important. Getting out of my thoughts I return to my tour of the Normandy.
I carry out my tour and I make a stop towards another door that is near the right in a curved pattern. Wanting to look around and get to know my surroundings I go ahead and decide to investigate the room that is beyond the door before me. I take a few steps forward and I hear chatter just right outside the door before I actually enter.
"I know."
I recalled that voice, was that Miranda?
"I still have work to do. I know."
Who was she talking to?
"Look I just want you to know that no mater what happens, nothing will make me more happy than seeing you live a normal life. Alright. Okay I love you too. Bye."
After waiting for a few seconds I decide to enter. I felt bad enough that I was eavesdropping on something personal. As the doors open up I walk in to find the black haired woman sitting down in the usual cat suit doing what appeared to be simple office working. How bland and horrible boring. Glad I never had to do any of that. Down side, I was always either in a ditch or in a foxhole. But still boring paper work is what it is.
"Ghost? What can I do for you?" Miranda asks in a cool collective tone of voice and I take in mind just from her basic aura that she is perhaps still not so happy about me rendering her unconscious during our first meet up back when I thought as the enemy. However, I couldn't help but sense a feel of similar equality in genetic nature as well as an equal amount of respect.
"Well?" She asks and I take notice that I have been standing here looking like a mute zombie when I was originally just walking around curious with the ship and its rooms.
"I was just looking around."
"In my office?" She asks and there is a hint of annoyance to her voice. I take it that she could perhaps be bitchy at times just by the tone of her voice and her whole appearance.
"I just wanted to know about the ship I will be living on for a few days."
"And here I was thinking that you were a muted soldier deprived of his words." She says as she folds her hands.
I shrug.
"Hey I could go a long time without saying little to nothing if you want. I'm only doing this so we have a better understanding of each other. You seem to know me, but I don't know you."
"And what makes you think that I would know anything about you?" Miranda asks speaking to me like I don't remember.
"Back on that giant space ship you were mentioning about F.E.A.R. and Kruger. Kruger I take it as being the guy who is the source of both our problems. Also I know that you clearly have understanding of my personal history. Least you can do for me is tell me that you know and why it is that you haven't killed me yet."
"Well if you must truly know I haven't killed you because A) your useful, and B) I don't think your undead mother would like that very much now would she?" Point taken.
"But why haven't you ran your mouth off?"
"I believe you may already know that part already." She's toying with me now.
"You should know by now that it is not really you that I am truly worried about, it's your family. Your mother a raging spirit that's able to destroy cities and possesses enough psychic power to actually be called a god." Well at least she knows the powers of my mother. But still I press on.
"I want to know how you came across this information Miranda."
I watch the woman get up from her chair and walk over to her bed. She sits down and crosses a leg and motions her head to a leather chair that is right next to the end of her bed on the right. I take the invitation and I begin to sit where I was offered and then I begin to play along with Miranda. At least she offered me a seat across from her so we may discuss things more comfortably.
"If you must know, Ghost, I acquired this information from a data pad stored in a storage room I took a look at some of the files and became interested. I did some reading and I eventually discovered your origins. I know what you are." She says and then makes direct eye contact with me, and I feel a bit of discomfort with her. "You are bio engineered super soldier who is meant for combat. Hell even birthed for it. But under all that hardened war tuned nature you have cracks in your shell. Your still a person who bleeds." Miranda says getting cryptic on me.
"What are you saying, that I can be killed easily by you if in a head to head straight forward fight?" I say intimidating her.
"No what I am saying has nothing to do with picking a fight with you." She says as she closes her eyes for a short interval and then reopens them and with a hint of sorrow she begins to speak. "I am saying, that we're both unique." She then gets up and begins to walk to her window that is by her bed.
"You don't know what its like. The looks, the intelligence, the strength. all of it was...engineered. I was supposed to be perfect. I have my flaws. But still I'm just the reflection of how I was made to be." Miranda says and I get a urgent tendency to pressure on and ask what has her so down.
"You mind telling me about what your problem is? Maybe I can relate with a few things?" I ask her, not because I am really interested in what she feels, but because I have to know. I have to understand what she means by 'made to be' and what makes us both unique.
"It's nothing you should concern yourself to. Honestly by all means I'd wish for you to just understand that we both have more than one thing in common."
I think to myself as to what exactly.
"May I ask to what makes us identical?"
"We're both perfect."
Perfect? What was that supposed to mean? I don't know what to really say, but I go ahead with what was on my mind. "Care to elaborate?" I say trying to sound smart.
"I mean you and are were both constructed for the ideal of being supreme compared to others. Me the perfect woman, you the perfect man." She says and then looks down to her feet. Some shame is hidden in there I can see it.
"No." I say correcting her. Of course she looks up to me and than questions with 'what' and I begin to explain.
"What? Do you care to enlighten me?"
"Your the perfect woman. I'm the perfect soldier. There's a difference from being a person and being what I am Miranda. Your more. I'm one." I say. Now it was my turn to be cryptic.
"Now you have me in a small knot."
"Well to be more specific your the one who is more of a person. I on the other hand am capable of only being a killing machine. I've even been called The Terminator as well as Rambo. It's because of me being such a silent and deadly quote 'badass' that I am only able to express myself when I am on a mission. When outside of the field I'm just a guy who says things when he needs to." I speak out as I get up from my seat and walk to the dark haired woman.
"Who you are on the outside is not who you are on the inside. What you do and what you choose to do is what truly defies a person. You just need to know what your calling is and go for it. You have your calling. I'm still waiting for mine."
"You really have a way with words you know that. I guess that the strong silent type really are the most powerful with words than most."
"Some are, some aren't."
"But still, nothing changes who I am. I've ran with a group of very corrupt people Ghost. How can someone like me find any true redemption?" Miranda asks. I give it my all and tell her. "Maybe you can start by righting what you've done wrong and perhaps keep doing good with Shepard. And believe me you are far more better than me as a person. You got reasons to live. I don't." And I meant every word.
"I enjoyed this talk Ghost. I would like to do this another time." Miranda gives a faint smile and I return a small smirk. But before I leave I had one last question.
"Miranda."
"Yes Ghost?"
"Who were you talking to earlier. I couldn't help but overhear you."
"I was speaking to my sister. She wants me to visit her." Miranda says as she rubs her head.
"When this is all over, go see her. It'll do you good." I suggest.
"I wish. There is so much that needs to be done and if I don't stick around, who else will be around to piss Jack off and complain to Shepard about paper work and fill out documents and cover up our tracks from my former boss?"
"Point taken...but still you should see her. Your lucky to have a sister who wants to spend time with you." I say to her. She gives one last smile to me before I leave. And never have I felt more fuzzy in my heart than after speaking to a woman who wants to be with her sister but is unable to.
I carried out my tour of the Normandy. I took a small detours around the ships locations but I stayed out of people's business. Whenever realized I was moving into someone else's territory I immediately walked out. I didn't want to cause a disturbance. The last thing I wanted was to make people feel like I was invading in on their privacy. When I had went down to the lower parts of the ship to where the bald woman was, she cast an angry glare towards me and I took that as a sign for me to leave while I still could. I didn't really bother to look anywhere else after than, I just kinda went back to my own location which was the cargo bay. I stayed there for some forty minutes trying to have a better understand of what was going on in the times. It wasn't until some moments after my small tour around the place was over that I decided to go back to my cot in the cargo bay. It was when I took a small nap that I got a message from Liara via omi-tool that Shepard wanted to talk to me and pretty much everybody in the conference room. What she had to say must had been important if she wanted everyone to be present.
I didn't really bother much on pondering to what Shepard wanted from everyone, she seemed to have had a valid reason if she wanted everyone present. I left my cot in the cargo bay and took the elevator up from the cargo bay. I waited for a small interval until the elevator finally came up to CIC. As the door opened up revealing the calm atmosphere of the Combat Information Center, I exited the elevator and walked pass a few crew members who were working on some terminals. I pass through a door and enter the armory. Jacob isn't present, clearly he's in the conference chamber. I walk past a huge closet of guns and I take notice on one table to the left the strange bow like weapon that, that one guy named Scorpion used on me. Right next to the bow is also the same Katana blade. From what I could come to a conclusion of the bow, was that it is based off of some sort of plasma based technology or some science fiction stuff like that.
Passing through the armory I finally make my way to the communication room. As I enter inside I see that everyone is present save for the guys in the usual black and white crew uniform. I see that everyone was just standing around as if waiting. It's when I get the attention in the room from everyone that I realize that I was supposed to be apart of this conversation. Which makes me feel uncomfortable knowing that all eyes are now landed upon me.
I stay quiet as I find a place to stand at. It's when I join the hubble that I feel better, but at the same time uncomfortable standing next to the huge guy with the turtle face and blue eyes. I do my best to pass as just someone here because he was called for. But even than still I don't feel comfortable being in a room full of that I had pissed of during such a small course of time.
When all the awkwardness died out shortly after 6 seconds Shepard began speaking. "Alright as you may know or some of you may know that when we had left that carrier that belonged to the Nightcrawler mercenary group, that someone by the name of Danny had told me that he wished to assist us." Shepard said looking at everyone expecting them to know already.
"Danny had said to me that he was stationed somewhere on Mars near the cluster back at earth. I received a message from him earlier today telling me the exact coordinates of where the Nightcrawler base is, but asked for us to come pick him up after we're done infiltrating the place." As Shepard finished, a holographic image of a huge fortress was displayed in the center of everyone. The base looked like to be the size of the empire state building but was wide enough to be three times the size as fortress. It was armed to the teeth with what appeared to be massive cannons and long barreled laser weapons.
"The base is heavily fortified and well armored, but its nothing different from what we've faced already. This will be no different from before only this time were sending in a small team who can infiltrate the base." Shepard said as she brought up another image of the Kodiak shuttle using her omi-tool. I watched as the hologram displayed the small shuttle moving towards a hidden pass through the base.
"This hidden passage was received to us from an insider of the base. She described this area as being free of hostiles and capable of safely extracting the infiltration team."
"Who gave us this information Shepard?" Tali asked piping interested in who forwarded this intel.
"Sonar Squad. Turns out our marine helpers ended up regrouping with each other in the Nightcrawler base and have accessed information that we need. All that we were able to receive from them was the hologram model of the layouts to the base. How we know its them is because after all communications were blocked out, they mentioned of their situation and how they need help." Shepard said to us. I looked at the model of the base and I wonder what sort of resistance we'll meet inside.
"Wait were actually going to go ahead and sneak inside an enemy fortress all because a couple of numskull trigger happy morons said there's a safe way inside?" Jack said as she couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"Look I know this may come to a surprise to some of you, but these guys although for being slightly idiotic are capable of holding there own. And if they say there's a way inside this base without being detected then that's fine by me." Shepard says as she closes off the hologram. I take a quick look around and I wonder who is going to be the ones to go on such a mission that will involve much stealth.
"Shepard exactly who is going to be the ones to go ahead with something as risky as this, we'll have to deal with the outer defenses after all?" Miranda says making a valid point. Just thinking about what the outer battle will be like happening to cause a distraction just for that small shuttle to infiltrate the passage would be difficult. It's suicide infiltrating this place without some sort of distraction for the infiltration team.
"To answer your question Miranda the Normandy will have to hold out as causing a distraction for the infiltration team. I will need people who can sneak in without being detected. People who can move without being seen." Shepard says looking at Kasumi, to which the asian woman says. "I'm your girl Shep, they won't even see me sneak past them." I look at the woman and I recall that she has that camouflage system of hers that turns her invisible.
"I think it will also be helpful to have an expert hacker who can bypass through security systems too. Tali." Shepard says looking to the masked woman. "It will be just like the Collector base only without the Collectors."
"I will move with the tam and we'll infiltrate the place and search for whatever we can about our guys and extract Sonar." Shepard says, but what she doesn't know is that I am an expert at infiltration. That, and there is also my brother.
"Shepard." I say and everyone turns to see me. I feel a bid odd but that passes as soon as I carry out with what I was saying. "How about I go in alone with infiltrating the base. I am an expert in solo ops and can infiltrate any base no matter how heavily armed." I explain and I leave in a break pause for Shepard to ask any questions.
"What are you on to?" Shepard asks me and I continue to explain myself.
"I was a Green Beret in the Army special forces and served in many solo special missions. Some of which I was completely on my own without any aid. If anyone can sneak inside without even alerting anyone its me Shepard." I explain, but then Jack buts in.
"Your not serious about trusting this guy right Shepard, he fucking killed Zaeed and Samara and then gets us captured. Who's to say he's not working for these Nightcrawler assholes?" I can understand Jack's questioning trust in me, but if anyone should be the one to infiltrate this base its me.
"Jack not now!" Shepard commanded. I am grateful for Shepard telling Jack to calm down, but I am also now just a step closer of Jack's bad side.
"Alright, Ghost since you claim to be an expert. You'll be a part of the infiltration team. But going in alone is suicide. You'll be tasked with safe guarding Tali and assisting Kasumi." Shepard orders and then turns to Miranda. "As for the rest of everyone, you will wait here aboard the Normandy and help out however you can."
"Wait Shepard you actually want us to have him join us in infiltrating the base?" Tali questioned as she pointed towards me. I could understand the worry in her. But I can't be the one to judge Shepard since this is her mission she was leading. In truth I can't help but feel like I will be of a concern throughout the entire operation. I don't want there to be any mistrust while the operation plays out, everyone will need to be in their game before the mission actually begins.
"Alright everyone dismissed. We got a few days until we get to our destination. So in the meantime lets just get our focus and prepare." Everyone leaves except for Miranda who stays behind and I slowly slip out of the room eying both women. I think for a moment about maybe eavesdropping when I exit the conference room, but I decide to just leave it.
Walking out of the conference room I make my way back to my cot in the cargo bay. Questions kept coming and going in and out of my mind as I laid down thinking myself to complete boredom. I kept thinking about the mission. That's all I ever thought about. How long was it going to be until we reached out destination? How much ammo should I bring, how can I make Tali and Kasumi both feel comfortable around me as I assist them and Shepard during our infiltration operation? I kept thinking the same thing over and over and I couldn't think of anything. I had considered maybe talking to Tali and getting to know her, but she is scared of me. I can tell by the way she shifts every time I walk right by her. Honestly how is a guy like me supposed to talk to someone who knew that I was more than capable of killing them with my own two hands if I so chose. It got me thinking strangely enough about Liara. I haven't been seeing her lately today. I see her in engineering but I never bother to go talk to her.
I wish I could introduce myself better to people. Three maybe four days until we get to where we have to. Three or four days without anything to really do. One thing I can't stand is boredom, back in the Army when we got bored we did some of the most stupidest of things. Right now I could go for something stupid. Something that can kill the time for me.
Pulling out my omi-tool I begin to type down something that will interest me for at least a little while. As I stream through the...extranet as it is called in the future, I find something interesting about a war known as the Rachni Wars. I clicked on a video and it was a dramatization about the war telling the different view points of a race of turtle like dinosaurs people who fought against giant insects that reminded me of Starship Troopers. It was a decent movie. It kept me awake and away from boredom for a good two hours. Throughout the film I was amazed by the amount of courage the Krogan race showed when fighting the giant bug like creatures. However to my shock and complete disappointment I was heavily saddened to know about the event when the krogans were sterilized. The Genophage was something horrible. To think that a whole race of warriors like the krogan fight a war for those who could not, only to be rewarded with becoming sterile. It was genocide.
But it led me to also researching another event known as the krogan Rebellion. To think that the krogan only wanted new worlds to colonize as reward for their fight against the Rachni only to be betrayed and deprived of their future by the other races. To me it was utter betrayal. All they wanted was new worlds to live but yet the Council races betrays them and leaves them to rot on their own home world.
Now every time I look at Grunt I can't help but feel like the whole galaxy owes his people a huge debt of gratitude. They didn't have to save the galaxy, the could have just let it rot. But they decided to take up the fight and storm into the nest of the Rachni creatures. All that blood and fighting only to be betrayed.
I went to sleep that night thinking of what kind of people would betray a whole race and then sterilize them.
The next day was a little different. I wanted to get a chance to know everybody I would be working with on the mission before we arrive. Tali seemed like a reasonable woman enough, so I tried her first.
As I took the elevator up to engineering I began to look around for the masked female. I navigate my way through a door not to far from me and I take look down to my left where Jack is. I wonder if there will be anyway I can get pass Jack's hostility or if I will remain as an un-welcomed guest around her. regardless I carry out with what I am up here for.
As the rotating door opens I see the space suited woman working on a computer terminal. I walk to her and take a quick glance to the right where I see two engineers working. I slip behind her but not to close, and I decide to make myself noticed.
"Tali?" I ask. The woman jumped and looked behind her to see me standing before her in my usual orange spacer wear. "Oh...uh...yeah." She utters obvious surprised to see me here. I quickly think about what to say before I make myself look bad. "Tali I just wanted to see how you were doing." I try my best to sound friendly.
"It's nice to see you...I guess." I'm making her uncomfortable, I have to do something before I blow this. "Tali I was just curious since neither of us know each other very well I was hoping that perhaps we can take the time to understand each other." I hope I didn't come off strong.
"You...want to know about me?" Tali asks, and I nod. To tell you the truth I always did wonder why it was that she wore the mask as well as the suit. "Well I guess it wouldn't hurt to share." She says and then looks at her hands and then back at me. "I guess I could probably start off why I'm here." She says and I nod.
"Well I'm here because of Shepard. When I was on my pilgrimage from the Flotila I had wanted to uncover some information about the Shadow Broker. I had made a contact with this human named Fist who said he would arrange a meeting, turned out he was lying. It also turned out that I was going to be killed by this assassin who was there at the meeting with me, had Shepard not got there is time I would have died."
I listened and was interested with the story and I continued to pay attention to the quarine as she told her story. She mentioned how Shepard was looking for proof that a Spectre; the councils right hand at justice, was actually under Reaper control and was going to set the galaxy on a course for destruction. To be truthfully honest the quarine was a natural story teller, as a person who enjoys listening to amazing stories I must have stood there for almost a whole hour.
"Then when we actually thought that we had Saren, he ended up getting away. All of that was for nothing. Kaiden, Shepard's close friend died that day to save Ashley and to stop an army of cloned Krogan warriors from being made. We were so close, and to think also that Shepard might've killed Wrex had she not talked him down. I was amazed by her ability to calm down the big guy." Tali said as I smiled slightly in admiration to such exploits. I never would have suspected that a small group of people would have been able to change the course of the galaxy under such a short period of time. To think also that they went on such adventures. It was like something out of Star Trek or even Star Wars.
"Now to get to the best part. Shepard and all of us were going to the Council to warn them of the Reaper threat, but still they were acting ignorant. They refused to belive Shepard even after she risked her own life as well as fought tooth and nail to apprehend Saren. We all were there, we all knew the danger that was coming and still no one would believe us. Not even Shepard's own people. Except for Anderson. Because of him we were able to stop Saren."
"Exactly who is Anderson Tali?" I ask wanting to have a better understanding of who he was.
"He was a friend of Shepard's and was the former captain of the original Normandy. This Normandy is a copy of the one we lost to the Collectors. In fact now that I mention all of this I am amazed you haven't heard of any of this before. Exactly where were you when all of this was happening?" Oh shit, I forgot Tali doesn't know about my true origins.
"Uh...I was in a coma for the past couple of years Tali, I never had anytime to catch up with the times when I woke up." I lie to her face and I hope that she believes me. "Oh...I guess that explains a lot." Tali says to me. I mentally sigh in relief. I still don't know how I can explain the part about me killing Zaeed, I hope it never comes to her asking such a thing. I also hope she never knows who I really am. It's bad enough Miranda found out. The last thing I want is Shepard to. If any of these people knew who I really was, will they even see me as a person? Or will they see me as a monster.
"After we escaped from the Citadel we were able to go after Saren, but I wasn't there with the ground team. But I was there in the Normandy during the battle against Sovereign. Although many lives were lost to save the Council, the battle was a success." Tali said as I smiled with the ending part.
"You seemed to have been in a whole lot Tali. You've really got to experience what someone like me could only imagine. You should be prideful of yourself." I say to the quarine and under that mask of hers I can tell she is smiling. "You really think that I should be glad about all that I've done?" She asks questioning her own capabilities.
"OF course, someone like you should be praised as a hero. After everything you said you've done and witnessed, why the hell shouldn't you?" I ask her as keep my smile and my calm toned voice.
"Well it wasn't really me who did most of that anyways, Shepard mostly gave orders and was the one who was leading us. If anyone is a hero, it's her." Now she was just trying to have me make her feel better.
"Tali...believe me when I say this. You are a hero no matter how you look at it, you were there with Shepard. It was you and Garrus as well as Liara, Wrex, Ashley and Kaiden who had risked your lives to save the galaxy. You deserve more than just a pat of the back Tali."
"Well I was welcomed back to my people when they received the news, and everything was good for a little while." Tali said a bit hollow at the end. "What happened Tali? You seem a bit sad about something." I ask curious to hear what happened.
"I'll just leave out a bunch of stuff that will take too long to explain Ghost, but two years after our huge win against Saren. You know the part about how I mentioned we were fighting Geth right?" I nod to her question.
"Well my father was doing research about them and trying to figure out a way to reclaim our home world that was lost to us. Some Geth that I sent to him for research after I disabled them, they were turned back on through his work and...and." She stops and she looks down while turning around to not face me.
I can hear her sniffle a little bit and it sounds like she is about to cry.
Sniff.
Sniff.
Feeling the need to let her know that it's okay I decide to go forth and lay my hand on her shoulder. Identifying that I meant not to draw any bad memories back. "Hey Tali its okay." I say, she turns around and she gives a nod of thanks. I smirk and then put my other hand on her should to let her know I'm here for her.
"You know...I never thought of you as someone who would care for others Ghost. To also tell you the truth, most of the time we stay as far from you as possible." She says acknowledging that she and some others feel uneasy around me.
I understand her point. I don't even mind since it's understandable. I'm the guy who was able to beat them all when we first met and I managed to evade them for a long time on the Citadel.
"Well...I'm not the monster under the bed like how you guys think Tali. I'm only human acting on human instincts. If it means anything, I would like to say sorry for all the hardship I put on you and your crew members." I say to her letting her know I feel bad for getting them captured by the Nightcrawler forces.
"Hey Ghost..."
"Yes?"
"I need to know...you saw her didn't you?" Tali what are asking?
"What are you talking about?"
"The little girl, you saw her didn't you? I know because when she turned around to face you she vanished."
Oh no, she saw Alma. Dammit how can I miss that?
"Tali..." I try to think of something to say to her but she interrupts.
"Ghost...if you want to understand me, I need to understand you. Who was that little girl? She was going to kill me until you showed up. To me that makes little sense now I need you to answer the question. Who was that little girl?"
How am I supposed to explain myself to her? What's keeping her from telling everyone else that I am the son of a ghost that wishes the destruction on all who wronged her and to re-shape the world into her hellish nightmare.
"Tali, believe me when I say this. The less you know...the better." I say to her and then I begin to turn to walk away, but not before turning to see her one last time before I exit the engineering core chamber. "Id like to talk more, sometime tomorrow maybe?" I ask her.
"Sure." Tali says and I know she is irritated that I brushed her off about what I knew. The worst part of this is that she now knows I'm hiding something. I wished I had covered up the truth differently but I couldn't think of any bullshit excuse. Knowing this, keeping the truth from Tali now is going to be even harder now that she knows. I just hope that she understands that I am trying to let her know that I mean no harm.
During the afternoon of that same exact day I was in the armory with Jacob who had something to show me. I figured I'd come here to look at the guns and to have a better understanding of some of the weapons I will be most likely using throughout the course of my stay here on the Normandy. The weapons that I thought were the most interesting were the heavy weapons. I was especially fascinated with the Cain. A gun that is capable of shooting out a small nuclear grenade that is able of disrupting a nuclear blast that has a massive radius and can kill all hostile targets in one area. It was a weapon that I would l over to use in combat whenever I get my chance.
"This here is a predator heavy pistol except." Jacob pauses and then shows me a round object in his left hand while he holds onto the predator heavy pistol in the other. He attached the round circular object to the pistol and then I am surprised how I could not have known earlier.
"A sound suppressor." Jacob said with a wide smile. He holds out the silenced weapon and I take it with both hands respecting it and looking at it with praise. I could imagine all the damage I could do with this. I should really thank Jacob.
"No need to thank me Ghost, it's a little something I cooked up in my spare time. I was going to give it to Shepard, but she turned it down. Her loss right?" Your damn right it was her loss.
"I know your badass and all Ghost, but even you need to know the advantages of stealth. Take the gun and the silencer too. If you need any mods for weapons just let me know. I'm your guy if you need any help with understanding the guns. Here's my com channel so you can stay in touch with me via com bui." Jacob pulls out his omi-tool and then gives me the channel coordinates for his link in case I ever need to call him. I give him my thanks and I begin to walk out of the armory while keeping the silenced heavy pistol in my hands.
I take it down to the cargo bay where I begin to inspect the weapon and have a better understanding of what I will be using. I think I'm starting to get along better with the Normandy crew now. Jacob seems like a reasonable friendly guy, Liara is clearly an ally. Tali...Tali I wish to understand a bit more before I can call her as a comrade. As for Garrus and Miranda I think we bonded well enough for our short discussions. Garrus seem as an interesting person. For a bird lizard person. Turian's from what I can understand are like Spartans, they have a strong military force and seem to have most of their people go into the armed forces. Almost like a warrior race like the krogan. I've been doing my best to have a better understanding of the aliens I will be getting used to seeing almost everyday. I still got my omi-tool and the extranet to view files about each race. I think it's about time I did a little bit of study on my bird/lizard cohort.
Codex Files:
Turians:
Known for their militaristic and disciplined culture, the turians were the third race to join the Citadel Council. They gained their Council seat after defeating the hostile krogan for the Council during the Krogan Rebellions. The turians deployed a salarian-created biological weapon called the genophage, which virtually sterilised the krogan and sent them into a decline. The turians then filled the peacekeeping niche left by the once-cooperative krogan, and eventually gained a Council seat in recognition of their efforts.
Originally from the planet Palaven, turians are best known for their military role, particularly their contributions of soldiers and starships to the Citadel Fleet. They are respected for their public service ethic—it was the turians who first proposed creating C-Sec—but are sometimes seen as imperialist or rigid by other races. There is some animosity between turians and humans, largely due to the turian role in the First Contact War. This bitterness is slowly beginning to heal but many turians still resent humans, and vice versa.
Biology:
Turians typically stand over six feet tall, have two long, proportionately thick fingers and an opposable thumb on each hand, each tipped with talons, and a set of mandibles around their mouths. The most distinguishing feature of turians is their metallic carapace, which contains trace amounts of thulium. The turians evolved this trait as a defense against the greater levels of solar radiation that penetrate their homeworld's weak magnetic field. Turian features are avian, making them resemble humanoid birds or raptors, however unlike most Earth avian creatures, turians are viviparous and give birth to live young. Turians are also recognisable by their voices, which have a distinctive flanging effect. Males and females do not differ greatly in physical appearance, but female turians lack the crest of horns found in the males of the race. The lifespan of a turian is comparable to that of a human.
History:
The turians had already discovered several mass relays and spawned colonies throughout the galaxy when the asari reached the Citadel. At about the time the asari were forming the Council with the salarians, the turians were embroiled in a bitter civil war next door. The Unification War, as it was later named, began with hostilities between the colonies furthest from the turian homeworld, Palaven.
These colonies were run by local chieftains, many of whom had distanced themselves from the Hierarchy. Without the galvanizing influence of the government, the colonies became increasingly isolated and xenophobic. Colonists began wearing emblems or facial markings to differentiate themselves from members of other colonies and open hostilities became common.
When war finally broke out, the Hierarchy maintained strict diplomacy and refused to get involved. After several years of fighting, less than a dozen factions remained and the Hierarchy finally intervened. By that time, the chieftains were too weak to resist; they were forced to put an end to fighting and renew their allegiance to the Hierarchy. Though peace was restored, it took several decades for animosity between colonists to fade completely. To this day, most turians still wear the facial markings of their home colonies.
The turian government, known as the 'Turian Hierarchy', is a hierarchical meritocracy. While it has great potential for misuse, this is tempered by the civic duty and personal responsibility turians learn during their childhood.
Turians have 27 citizenship tiers, beginning with civilians (client races and children). The initial period of military service is the second tier. Formal citizenship is conferred at the third tier, after boot camp. For client races, citizenship is granted after the individual musters out. Higher-ranked citizens are expected to lead and protect subordinates. Lower-ranking citizens are expected to obey and support superiors. Promotion to another tier of citizenship is based on the personal assessment of one's superiors and co-rankers. At the top are the Primarchs, who each rule a colonization cluster. The Primarchs vote on matters of national importance. They otherwise maintain a "hands-off" policy, trusting the citizens on each level below them to do their jobs competently.
Throughout their lives, turians ascend to the higher tiers and are occasionally "demoted" to lower ones. The stigma associated with demotion lies not on the individual, but on those who promoted him when he wasn't ready for additional responsibility. This curbs the tendency to promote individuals into positions beyond their capabilities. Settling into a role and rank is not considered stagnation. Turians value knowing one's own limitations more than being ambitious.
Turians enjoy broad freedoms. So long as one completes his duties, and does not prevent others from completing theirs, nothing is forbidden. For example, there are no laws against recreational drug use, but if someone is unable to complete his duties due to drug use, his superiors step in. Judicial proceedings are 'interventions.' Peers express their concern, and try to convince the offender to change. If rehabilitation fails, turians have no qualms about sentencing dangerous individuals to life at hard labor for the state.
The turian imperial anthem is called "Die for the Cause."
From what I was able to gather it would appear the turians resemble a culture similar to that of the spartans back on earth from the B.C. era. I can see the similarities with the whole military based society as well as the need for more weapons and warships to defend their territory. As for the part with the whole tensions between humans and turians I am glad to know that Garrus is cool with me. I wonder how Grunt manages to get along with Garrus. It must be difficult having so much diversity under one roof who both share a background full of hatred for one another. And now here I am in the picture except for almost everyone here is either afraid of me, or wants to kick my ass.
I close the codex after I'm done with my little understanding of the turian race. I was most of all interested in the event known on the planet Shanxi. From what I can understand first contact with turians and humanity didn't go too smoothly. Regardless of how our species met, we're now drawn together and cooperating. I guess that's how all races eventually meet up. Back on earth the black slave trade, the native Americans and the white colonist. Throughout the history of man, we have been at war with one another and even when we have reached out to the stars we are fighting between other species besides our own between natural resources, economy, religion, and cultural standards. It makes me wonder if we'll ever stop fighting. If there is ever a way for us to finally see each other as equals. Put political standpoints and religious beliefs aside and move on.
Let the chips fall where they may and lets evolve.
Speacking of eveloution, I had always been wondering about the psycics of this generation. Liara seems to be able to summon this kind of blue aura around her entire body whenever she and I were in combat back when we were trying to rescue the Normandy and its crew. She let off this blue power that was able to lift objects into the air and was capable of freezing people where they were with just a push of her hand. What did she call it? Bionics? Biotenics? No wait Biotics!
I use my omi-tool and going to the codex files I look up the word Biotics.
Codex Files:
Biotics:
Biotics is the ability for some lifeforms to create mass effect fields using Element Zero nodules embedded in body tissues. These powers are accessed and augmented by using bio-amps. Biotic individuals can knock enemies over from a distance, lift them into the air, generate gravitational vortices to tear obstacles or enemies apart, or create protective barriers.
All asari are naturally biotic from birth, though not all choose to develop their abilities. Biotics of other species are individuals who were exposed to dust-form element zero, or colloquially, "eezo", in utero and subsequently developed eezo nodules throughout their bodies. These nodules can generate mass effect fields when energized by electrical impulses from the nervous system.
Eezo exposure is by no means guaranteed to result in biotic ability. On the contrary, most fetuses that are exposed are not affected at all. Others will develop brain tumors or other horrific physical complications. In humans, only about one in ten eezo-exposed infants will develop biotic talents strong and stable enough to merit training, and these abilities are not always permanent. In extremely rare cases, humans who were exposed in utero but did not manifest biotic talents as children can develop them during young adulthood through additional exposure.
Once a person has been identified as having biotic ability, they may be outfitted with a surgically implanted amplifier, usually installed around the time of puberty, in order to make their talents strong enough to be useful. Some races have experimented with biotic drugs to stimulate power instead, such as Red Sand. They must then develop conscious control over their nervous system, which is a long, slow, difficult ordeal (except for the asari, who possess a degree of control naturally). Biofeedback therapy is commonly used to aid in this process. Once trained, a biotic can generate and control dark energy to move objects, generate protective barriers, or restrain enemies. Biotic abilities are activated using a technique called "physical mnemonics", in which the biotic uses a physical gesture to cause neurons to fire in a certain sequence, sending an electrical charge through their eezo nodules and creating the desired effect. A biotic may enhance certain aspects of his or her biotic abilities by installing implant upgrades called bio-amps.
Biotic abilities fall into three general categories: Telekinesis, the use of mass-lowering fields to lift or hurl objects; Kinetic Fields, mass-raising fields to immobilize objects (in combat, usually enemy projectiles or enemies themselves); and Spatial Distortion, the creation of shifting mass-effect fields which rip apart any objects caught within them.
So basically their like Jedi warriors except the exhibit blue energy from their bodies. For some reason when I look at the pictures with the biotics I can't help but think of the red misty aura around my brother when I see the blue glow from the biotics. There is a huge reference between the two. If Paxton was here at the moment, he would be talking to me about how interesting it was to see how the human chain has evolved so much under just a short state of time.
Before I could read more about biotics, I grew tired and decided to shut my eyes for just a while. Only a little while. I need my rest and I need to prepare for the mission. I got a few more days to to grow attached to theses people. Maybe I will talk to Tali for a little while more tomorrow. A thing I found interesting was these Geth. Apparently Legion the robot is one of them. Maybe I'll ask him, or It as a matter of regarding machine what the Geth truly are besides a race of machines. I wonder how they got made? Maybe Tali will tell me tomorrow after breakfast. I haven't really seen Liara today, she's been spending time with Shepard. I hope she hasn't told anyone about who I am.
If they knew who I really was, will they ever look at me the same way again? I know already that I am on most of these people's shit list, but still. I am an outsider. I have no place amongst these people and they feel uncomfortable around me.
That night I went to sleep, I dreamt of what it would have been like to have raised my sister and see her go to school and make friends. It was so real that I thought I was actually holding her in my hands when I was taking her to the zoo. It was only when I woke up the next day that it was all really a dream.
I have decided to have Point Man talk because how else was he going to interact with Shepard's team. I want the Normandy team to have an understanding of the Point Man and get well with him. But to do that he had to actually discuss things with them. Now that Point Man has already talked with Garrus, Miranda and Tali, they are slowly realizing that Point Man isn't really the enemy. The same thing cannot be said about Jack. Why I wanted to do a point of view perspective with the Point Man was to show what he's thinking about when he's not killing people and trying to coexist with the Normandy and living in the future.
I know that the whole idea of Point Man being frozen in a chamber by Armacham for over 136 years is a little cheesy in some cases, but it was the best I had. As for Samara being mentioned in this chapter, it is to show that she is not dead, but also not alive. She will be assisting the Point Man, but she won't be doing any fighting since she lacks psychic powers. What I want everyone to know right now, is I am not sure if I will do a sequel or not. I mean if I do have a sequel, what will it mean for Mass Effect 3? I never played the game yet, I am still waiting until I am able to purchase enough of the DLC's to get the whole game. From what I do know, people say the game's ending sucks and people recommend me to get the extended cut. I don't know if this is true or not, so do tell me in the reviews if you decide to leave one.
Now why I wanted to have Point Man in this story is because in most Mass Effect xovers, you see much legendary characters in gaming like Master Chief or Alex Mercer from the Prototype games, you even see characters from anime as well as a bunch of other characters I can't name right now. But I wanted to add Point Man into the picture because I think he is an interesting person to write about. You never know whats going on in his head, he has an incredible storyline in the first F.E.A.R. game, he's the son of a ghost that is basically a goddess with all that psychic power and he killed his own brother who now haunts him like a demonic curse. To me F.E.A.R. will always be a favorite game and Mass Effect as one of my most well played RPG games.
If a sequel does come into the works, I would like you guys to help me with ideas on how the 3rd game of Mass Effect will play out. ALthough when I am finished with this game I don't know I will directly go straight to Mass Effect 3. I think that if I make a sequel to this story, I might have Point Man just go off on some adventures doing his own thing with some of the characters of Mass effect or on his own.
Now another things is Paxton Fettle. From what you guys can already tell things are boiling down between the two brothers as their tolerance for the other is slowly getting thinner. I am thinking at the end of this story maybe I might have a final clash between the two.
As for the Third Child yes I will have her in this story clearly, but the question is will Point Man be able to save his sister? If he so happens is able to finally reunite himself with his sister, what will Shepard do if she finds out about the true dangers of a psychic as powerful as the third child? Will Shepard kill the third and pull a huge renegade move by killing Point Man too?
I have not yet decided, but if anyone has any suggestions whatsoever, please contact me or leave a message in the reviews. Another thing I can assure all of you is that the ending will leave you thinking and will also come to a complete surprise. Until next time everyone. Before I forget I would like to thank the Mass Effect wiki for the codex files in this chapter. I'm out y'all.

P.S. Also I might be out for a month or perhaps two or so...My reason is because I am going back to my hometown and I am going to have to say goodbye to the good computer I am working on and say hello to my shitty nonfunctioning one. Sorry everyone.
