So I am sorry to bug you guys but I really need some help. I'm doing a new Naruto story and I have no clue on the main pairing. It would be Hinata with Naruto or Garra and I can't decide. I know not all of you read Naruto Fan Fic but if you have even seen the show give me an opinion, pleaseeee. You can post in comments or PM me or whatever. Just help me decide!

"This is going to be so much fun! I'll get to see Tsubaki again!" In spite of the news he had just told her, Maka seemed anything but disappointed unlike the young reaper.

"Hm indeed. We will also be dropping by Darkness's kingdom to help build up relations." He had told her a few days ago but only now did she start packing. Granted, there wasn't much of anything to pack but there were still servants who could do that. The boy pondered on the many mysteries of women while Liz and Patti joined in the chaos.

"Oh boy! Oh boy! Maybe there will be some really cute guy huh, sis? Maybe then you could actually get a boyfriend!" Liz shot Patty a wicked glare before accidently dropping a heavy trunk on her.

"Oops. My hand slipped." Patti quickly squirmed out from underneath looking no worse for the wear.

"You're so mean to me." She turned quickly out of the room and pouted through the halls.

"Don't worry. I'll go get her." Maka smiled and exited the room with a small wave. "Here Patti! Here girl! I got some sweets for you!"

Kid shook his head at such a ludicrous display. He knew that, if he had wanted to, he simply could have demanded her back into the room and she would have come, but Maka seemed to enjoy this more so he let her have her fun. "She sure has a way with us, huh?"

"Pardon?" Kid was folding another one of her skirts and placing it into the back before him. With all the confusing patterns mixing together making them symmetrical was hard and dizzying work.

"You know, the demons. It's almost like we are drawn to her. She so... bright." Liz sighed and smiled a bit in the way Kid had grown used too. It wasn't necessarily a happy smile but more one of amusement.

"Of course we are, she's human. What else would you expect?" Kid gritted his teeth and zipped the carrier closed roughly. He set to work filling out more travel documents.

"No. It's more than that and you know it." She looked slightly off to the right where outside in the courtyard she could see the two munching on some cakes. "You know Kid. There's nothing wrong with being attached. In our world, it's the only thing that keeps us going."

He simply grunted and returned to his work.

"Why not try doing something nice for her? Just because?" The she demon smiled softly. She was much more observant than anyone expected.

"Where are we going?" Maka asked. She was blindfolded and wandering through the streets of the city with only Kid to guide her. A few moments ago he had tied and scarf around her eyes without saying a word and led her away.

"It's a surprise." She could hear a small smile in his voice and way content to follow him movements. She had no reason to fear anything anyway.

It wasn't long before they slowed to a stop. Kid guided her up a few stairs and through a door he had held open for her. She heard a bell chime to indicate they were inside a store.

"Ah, my young Prince what may I do-... uhhhhh?"

"Hush. Maka are you ready for you surprise?" The girl shook her head eagerly and started to bounce a bit in place. As much as she hated to submit to the loss of sight the girl was excited. It seemed so out of character for the prince to do anything like this. Finally she felt his fingers deftly untie the knot at the back of her head and the silk flow down off her face.

Maka screamed as she was met by a wall of viscous looking weapons. There were spiked maces and Morningstar's handing from hooks on the wall. Long swords glinted dangerously in the light and some wicked looking mystery weapons swung from chains on the ceiling.

On instinct Maka hopped back into Kid at the starling display of violence. He looked down at her somewhat shocked and disappointed.

"Are you not pleased? I thought women enjoyed shopping." Then Kid did something Maka couldn't help but giggle at. He pouted.

Looking at her questionably as she suppressed her laughs only made the situation more entertaining. She couldn't hold it in any longer and fell to the ground in a fit of hilarity.

"I don't understand..." Kid meanwhile was simply lost. He had done as Liz had suggested and took her out to get a surprise. He figured something she picked out would be better than what he did.

"Uh... Sir. Not that I'm not glad for your patronage, but I would like to point out that women generally like shopping of the clothing and jewelry kind, not the weapons of death and destruction kind."

"But clothing and jewelry are not what she needs. They are not practical." Maka finally coming out of her fit had managed to climb up using Kid as a support. Wiping the tears from her eyes she took one last shaky breath.

"Kid...hehe... why are we here?" The reaper looked at her with less confused eyes before addressing the now put together girl.

"Well after that last foray we had on the trip to the Life kingdom I thought it best if we were to acquire you a weapon to better defend yourself. I thought it would delightful to you but I guess not." He seemed somewhat put out and Maka began to feel bad for her outburst earlier.

"No Kid. You're right. That's a great idea!" She then turned to the weapons master and smiled. "Geeze nothing like a sharp and pointy object to make a girl feel better huh?"

He simply smiled and chuckled at the girl before turning to the Prince. "Well in that case what can I help you with?"

Snapping back to his normal self, Kid walked up to the counter tugging Maka along by the hand. "Well, we are going on an extended trip and need something that is light and versatile for her. Something good for traveling and won't break but can do serious damage if necessary."

"How about that one?" Maka pointed to a fencing sword on the wall with a spider webbed cage. Before she could even imagine herself with it in her hand the man at the counter shook his head. "No, that won't be sturdy enough for travel. It's made more for duels than battle."

He seemed to think on it for a moment before looking to the Prince. "We just had some magical items come back from the enchanters but I have yet to catalog their full abilities. However, I think I have one fit for what you're looking for. Come on back."

The pair followed the stout man behind the counter and through the door into a stock room. He unlocked a door and opened it to allow the two to step inside. Maka instantly felt a way of foreign air hit her. It sent waves of Goosebumps riding across her skin and her heart racing. They hung on the wall much like the other expect a few glowed in the light while others crackled with flames or sparks of electricity.

"Yup little Missy. These are the genuine magical weapons that I'm known for! Gotta keep 'em out of the amateur's hands. You could really do some damage with some of these. Now where did I put that..." Maka went to touch one of the blades made seeming out of something but jagged ice when Kid's hand darted out to reach hers.

"Don't touch." He whispered by her ear. Cramped in the much smaller space which was obviously only meant for two people Kid was pushed up near her back. She shivered softly as his breath tickled her skin and blushed. "I don't want you getting hurt."

"Here it is!" the man exclaiming brought Maka out of her trance and was able to shift her way slightly father from the reaper, and yet still not far enough. He held out a small silver stick about the size of a relay holder they used in gym when they ran track. There was nothing special about it, just a dull flat gray to keep light from reflecting off it and a few engravings.*" Let's head out back so you can give it a whirl, eh?"

Kid nodded in an almost enthusiastic way. Maybe it was just her, but Maka couldn't exactly see what was so special about a metal stick. However, she was following wither she liked it or not, Kid made sure of that. She was dragged out of another door hidden by boxes into a training ground of sorts.

The ground was hard packed, but eve, dirt with targets and dummies just lying around. Some had been ripped to shreds while others had been impaled with arrows and possibly bullets. Maka could have sworn she saw a throwing ax or two.

"So how are the girls treating my masterpieces? You know they should have them maintenanced soon." The man hands her the pole...thingy. She traces it with her fingers looking for a button or an opening but is unable to find one. Maybe it's a projectile thing.

Maka casually points it away from her and flicks it. Absolutely nothing happens. She's running out of ideas and it's getting to her. Her face contorted into an ugly pout as she hit the thing against the ground. He said magic right? Holy shit! Maybe it's a light saber.

"Are you ready Miss?" The weapon smith addresses her curiously. Maka realized she hadn't heard a word of their conversation, which was probably explaining how to use it. "Uh, could you repeat that last part again?"

"I said that I haven't cataloged it yet so I'm not sure what it does. The only thing those damn magicians said was that it was light and meant for traveling.*"

"Ah right... so what do I do?"

"Well... that's the thing. Your guess is as good as mine. Just try not to make it blow up. We aren't in the minefields you know."

And just like that Maka found herself back at square one. Thankfully, she had already tried all the stupid looking ones herself so all that was left were ones that seemed reasonable. She tried throwing it, only to have it tumble on to the floor. She tried bludgeoning something over the head, only to have it do the average damage of one of her Maka chops. It was still enough to make the two men nervous.

"This isn't really going well, sir. I'm sorry but is there anything else?" Maka began walking towards the men casually flipping the weapon in the air.

"We, with that force you have behind that arm we have a number of staves and hammers you may like..."

"That sounds-" The ground must not have been completely even as Maka's foot slightly mistepped in a shallow hole. However, it was enough to make her lose her balance. She was mid-toss as she stumbled and sent the hunk of metal flying into the sky. Maka tracked it with her eyes as it rose. Suddenly the small pole began to glow, extending out from each end. As it reached the Apex of its height it began to solidify and fall straight back down. Maka's hand flew out to keep the glowing bolt of death from slamming into her head. She wrapped her hand around it and threw her arm back just in time to avoid a wickedly sharp black and red blade from stabbing into her side.

"Oh... it's a scythe." The Prince stated as if he were discussing as something as simple as the weather. "How appropriate."

"I nearly got impaled Kid! How are you just not concerned?!" Maka's heart was beating fast as she stared at the shimmering point. It looked vicious enough to cut through steel and she was sure her rib cage would be no obstacle to it.

"Well it's not like you'd die. Just a little blood and a ruined shirt, all easily replaceable." He waved his hand in a dismissing manner and the man next to him just silently laughed.

"But it would HURT!" Maka protested loudly. He simply shrugged and began to discuss payment. Sighing Maka gave up the argument as Kid began discussing the price with the store owner. Really though, Maka didn't mind much. It gave her an excuse to play with her new toy...

The week flies by as the group prepares to leave. When the day finally comes Kid is waiting in the courtyard yet again for their horses. This time, Maka is with them, debating heatedly with Liz over a map while Patti is chasing a rabbit around the yard. That poor creature...

Kid's attention is pulled when he hears the thundering footsteps that can only be Bronte's...followed by some shrieks of terror. Kid truly did love his gift from BlackStar and he was happy he would be riding his pet back to its homeland.

As usual the white horse came racing around the corner with the poor handler chasing after it. It glanced swiftly around the court yard until its gaze landed on a shocked looking human. With a hoof stamp of triumph it charges toward the girl with a speed even Kid couldn't stop. Everything froze for a moment as the reaper felt panic strike.

The horse was just a few feet away when it skidded to a halt. It shoved it's head into her insistently until she lightly pat him. She smiled and scratched him behind the ears while he nuzzled into her. War horse my ass.

Unfortunately for Maka the static electricity of his flames was sending her hair into pin straight lines that pointed up to the sky. The prince couldn't help but find this amusing as the other girls laughed while Maka just stood there confused as she could get.

He smiled for a moment before insisting they move along. It was a wonderful start to their trip with only the first of many silly and fun diversions. However, Kid wasn't sure how long it could stay that way.

Dear Diary,

Maka got a new weapon thingy today! It's from the same guy who made me and sis's guns! Man is he awesome! Maka asked earlier today how magic weapons were made and I realized I didn't know! Silly me. I have been using one FOREVER and I never even asked! So after hunting down Morphus and pouncing on him (which Maka did not approve of ) we made him tell us. Did you know that when we find special or unique weapons from the human world we send them to the enchanters to make them all magical! Even the ones that never worked, the magic people find a way to make them. Of course you didn't know that since you're me. Tee hee!

Hello,

I started working on some more one shots that from now on will be stored in the Carved Hearts story of mine. However, they are sad... just sad. So if you read them... I warned you.

The filigree carved on to Maka's scythe is a leaf like scroll just to improve grip. It disappears during the shift.

The magicians are neutral ground. They care nothing for the wars or treaties of the land and all work equally for all of the kingdoms making magical items for the inhabitants the underworld. Noone really knows where they came from. Not even Lord Death and he made the damn palce. For obvious reasons the death kingdom uses them for weapons but in the Kingdom of Darkness BlackStar has them make powercores to build his stars around.
