All available ninja were gathered at the base of Hokage tower. Tsunade was at the balcony, ready to make her speech.
"Attention Shinobi of Konoha. We have finally received the whereabouts of the hidden sound village. Now it's normally not in our nature to intentionally start a war, but this is different. You see, we've been at war with the sound since Orochimaru killed the third, and took Sasuke Uchiha for himself. This is our chance to even the score. I don't expect you to volunteer for this. It's optional, but your help will be appreciated. No doubt, if we can strike hard and fast, Oto will be nothing more then a memory. Allow me to introduce to you, for leader for this high class mission...Naruto Uzumaki" Tsunade said. Naruto took to the Mic. Many booing could ber heard.
"Shut up. You know, I've done so much for this village. I have protected it will every fibre in my being, for god knows how long. In case if you didn't know, I am the son of the fox princess, Karyu, and the late fourth Hokage, Ken Uzumaki. But for those of you who didn't know, I'm not a half demon. Since the age of 12, I have been a full fledged demon, having merged my soul with my grandfather, the so-called, Hated Kyuubi. You know why Kyuubi attacked this village in the first place" Naruto said. that had silenced the crowd.
"Because he was trying to protect his daughter, my mother due to a false rumour, spread by Orochimaru. All I ask now, is to give me a chance. The council has, so why can't you" Naruto said. the crowd began to discuss, all the while some fangirls kept chanting for Naruto.
"I was appointed leader for this mission, as it was I who created this mission. The three years away, I have searched for the exact location of Oto. I found it. Orochimaru isn't safe anymore. I want to kill him, as he has brought me my pain. Making the village I love, hate me, due to a false rumour. Took away my father, grandfather, and my first surrogate grandfather, the Third Hokage. Then, he wants to use Sasuke Uchiha, to have as a vessel. He wants my brother, as his vessel. I won't stand for it" Naruto said. all the Ninja began to cheer, now feeling the sympathy of Naruto.
"You guys don't know how much this means. If you want to help me take down Orochimaru, once and for all, Give me a Hells YEAH" Naruto shouted.
"HELLS YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!" The entire Shinobi population of Konoha shouted. Naruto was moved by this.
"Thank you again. I expect to see some familiar faces for some of you, and I hope that we can all come back alive. Payment...revenge is our payment, in blood" Naruto said.
Later, Naruto was hanging out with the Rooki 8 (being that Sasuke is missing), Team Fantasia, and Gai's team. They were all at a campfire, drinking.. Except for Lee, he wasn't allowed any, due to getting very dangerous when drunk.
"I'm glad to see all of you want to help me, but I can't let two people do so. Sakura. You are a mother. Your child will be so messed up if you are to ever abandon you. And Hinata. I won't allow you to go. You mean to much to me, to even see a scratch on you" Naruto said. both girls were going to protest, until they realised that his words were true.
"The flames of youth shall-" Lee tried to say, before being glared at by everyone.
"Lee. Drop the flames of youth crap. It's old. You can follow that up. By getting some new gear. And for crying out loud, get a wild haircut. Geez" Naruto said. everyne laughed at Lee, who was embarrassed.
"Yeah. I mean, I can see this guy with an attitude, except he ain't showing it. Things aren't so positive in this world. Try to feed on the negatives as well" Gail said.
"Oh, and Gaara also said he and his siblings will help out as well. I visited them quickly before I came back" Naruto said to everyone. That was good news.
It was a good night for them, as in two days, they would begin their war.
