Hello, Hello, Hello. It has been a while, hasn't it.
First thing I would like to say is thank you. Thank you all for your patience as I get back into the school grind while I continue to write this story. It is that patience that makes projects like this last and stay popular. You guys are awesome.
Speaking about popularity, this story has gotten decently popular. I would like to welcome all the new readers to this story as they make it this far. A new pair of eyes is always welcome here.
We finally crossed that 3-digit favorite mark. It makes me super happy that this story has finally crossed that milestone as I could not have imagined it would have garnered this kind of popularity, especially since it is a very specific kind of story. Even to today, this story has gotten an average of 100 views a day when content hasn't been published for a while, which is more than the first chapter the day it came out.
The reviews are a big help in little ways. I love hearing from the people who have been around a while, and I love hearing from new people who have an interest in this story. So, once again, thank you.
Like I said last time, this is the second part to a three-parter. I don't want to spoil anything, so you all shall get to the reading. Thank you for taking the time to read this note.
Chapter 21: The Enemy Inside PT. 2: Duality
I awoke from another sleep to begin the day of training. The sun was shining, but the air was cool. The one word to best describe the current atmosphere would be 'peace'.
However, I was not thinking about any of that at the moment. I got up from my laying position and stretched my back and earned a few cracks. I was exhausted both physically and mentally. It has been a week since the unknown spirit has been bothering me. A week of hell. I sleep, but I don't recover during it. In this calm atmosphere, I am kept paranoid. A few questions kept circulating my mind during the period, such as: where did this demon come from and why have I encountered it now?
This week has also affected the relationship between me and my friends. They notice something is off between us, especially Tigress. It isn't that hard to notice since I have often avoided them all and kept to myself. I barely say a sentence to them before parting ways.
I know that they are worrying about me as I would do the same if they acted as I am, but I can't look at them the same before my thoughts drift to my visions. The demon had the Five and Po kill me, me kill them, and just overall imprinted their lifeless bodies laying on the ground. It had brought me to the edge of sanity. During my sleep and while I'm awake, the demon doesn't stop.
I know why it is doing this. It is trying to weaken my mind so that it can take over. I wish I could say that it is never going to happen or that I am too strong for that, but am I? I can feel myself slipping.
The gong went off to signal that the day has started…
POV: 3rd Person
Six of the warriors opened their doors the moment that the gong went off and greeted their master, "Good morning, Master."
The seventh warrior, Kyle, exited his room a second after, "Good morning, Master."
The group looked onto him with varying degrees of concern. Kyle looked physically worn out. His skin was pail, eyes red, and darkened circles could be seen around his eyes. He held himself looser than he usually was.
Master Shifu lowered his ears. He was failing at trying to help his student. Master Oogway had entrusted him to take care of the Jade Palace and all that lives within its walls, and he was failing. He had been trying, but there were so many scrolls that Master Oogway had written himself that could be the apparition that Kyle had described, but none totally fit.
Master Shifu shook himself from his thoughts and tried to draw attention away from his student's condition. "Good morning, students. I expect all of you to be in the training hall within the hour." He began to hobble away.
Each of the Five and Po looked at Kyle as he just walked away from them all. He didn't need to look up to know that they were all looking at him. He rounded the corner and he was gone.
Mantis looked at the others, "What is wrong with him?" Viper came over and smacked him with her tail. "What! He is not acting like himself."
Crane agreed with the bug, "While Mantis didn't put in a very nice way, Kyle has barely said a thing to any of us. It is like the life has been sucked right out of him."
Everyone made noises of agreement, Tigress stood there silently. She was less than pleased with what had happened to her best friend. She wasn't angry with him. Deep down, she was hurt. Whatever was bothering him, he had not told any of them. She deserved to know, right?
Monkey spoke up while scratching his chin, "Even Master Shifu has been acting a little off."
Po's expression exploded into one of agreement, "I know, right! He has been reading a lot more and he seems to be stressed out."
Mantis spoke, "He didn't even acknowledge Kyle's darkened mood. He just glossed over it."
Crane questioned, "Do you think that they are connected? Master Shifu reading more and Kyle's depression?"
Viper nodded, "It is possible. Whatever is happening, the best we can do is support our friend."
They all agreed as they headed to the kitchen to start off their day with a meal.
An hour or so had passed since breakfast. Master Shifu had decided to orchestrate a little exercise between his various students. It was a teamwork exercise that consisted of duos and a trio. The teams were: A trio consisting of :Po, Monkey, and Viper. The duos were Mantis and Tigress, and Kyle and Crane. Master Shifu made it into groups that usually don't work together that often in combat. Strategizing with our teammates was the key to success.
The three groups were on opposing sides of courtyard. They were huddled as they came up with how to defeat the other groups. Chatter could be heard between two groups, but not one of them.
Between Crane and Kyle, it was mostly silence. Kyle looked like his mind was elsewhere why Crane waited patiently for the Jade Master to come up with an ingenious plan to take out their comrades. He grew concerned over his friends lost gaze. "Ummmm, Kyle, are you alright?"
Kyle's tired eyes focused on Crane, "Yeah. Ummm, I just didn't get much sleep last night is all."
Crane's expression didn't change much. "You seem to have been like this all week. What is bothering you?"
Kyle looked over at the avian with a sheepish look, "I haven't slept much over the last week…"
Crane was about to argue further, but Master Shifu's authoritative voice broke though, "Get into your positions." Everyone was ready for the training exercise. Since Crane and Kyle didn't talk about a strategy much, they both looked a little nervous. They were going to have to wing it. Then, Shifu snapped his fingers.
Crane took off into the air while Kyle charged on the ground. They other two groups charged as well, but they seem to have had a little more confident than he did. Tigress lent her paw to the bug who promptly threw her forward. Her speed was terrifying as she was able to strike Po backwards. He made an 'oof' sound as he flew backwards. However, that left them open to a counterattack from Viper and Monkey as Viper slid from shoulder-to-shoulder as Monkey guided her body into Tigress. She struck out at the tiger who slid back a few meters.
While these series of attack occurred, Kyle was in a slight daze as to what was happening. He didn't know who to attack or how to do so. Monkey turned his gaze toward the human and began his assault. Kyle's vision flashed through a few images which left him open to an attack. Kyle was ready for the pain, but he felt something grasp his shoulders and lift him up. With this new leverage over Monkey, Kyle was able to kick the primate back into the ground.
Crane let him down a few meters later. Kyle gave the avian a thumbs up for his effort. They both faced forward to see the others regroup. No advancement was made by the others as they studied one another. Tigress and Mantis looked over to Crane and Kyle and began their attack there.
Tigress was able to throw the bug up into the air to intercept Crane while she went after the human. The engagement didn't last long. Kyle was able to deflect a few of her strikes but something clouded his vision. He didn't see his best friend in front of him in a friendly sparring match. He saw what the demon wanted him to, a monster that would work endlessly toward his demise. It was bastardization of that friend.
His muscles seized up as he stopped trying to defend himself. His eyes dilated in fear as the breath from his lungs was taken away. Tigress notice this change of atmosphere around her friend but was unable to stop her strike.
SMACK!
Kyle's body flew backwards and skid across the ground. He let out a groan as he got himself back into a sitting position. From that moment, the exercise was over. Tigress ran to Kyle's side to check up on him while Master Shifu hobbled over. "Master Kyle are you alright?"
Kyle shook away his dazed state away, "Yes, Master. I guess I just wasn't paying enough attention."
The red panda nodded his head, "That would be a good observation. You probably should keep your focus in battle. It could very well be your end if you don't do so." However, Master Shifu knew better that to believe the words of the human. That demon was messing with his mind, and it was becoming more frequent. He needed to continue his work. "That is all for today. You may do some training today but treat it as an off-day. I am going to consult some scrolls."
Master Shifu made his way away from the warriors as they all looked down at the human. Tigress asked with some concern laced in her voice, "Are you alright?"
Kyle gave a brief smile at her as he got back onto his feet, "I will be a little sore from that, but I am alright." His smile disappeared as it the stress on his face took its place as it had before. "I am going to meditate for now. Catch you guys later." He made his way between them and walked his separate way.
They were all a little shocked. Master Shifu never calls, and Kyle was just off. Mantis looked around to the others, "What the hell just happened?"
They group went their own separate ways. Viper turned around to see that Tigress's ears were lowered for a moment before he went towards the training hall. For Viper, this was an excellent opportunity to talk to her tiger friend. It looked like Tigress needed another friend right now.
Tigress had resumed her training in the training hall. She pushed all her frustration onto the helpless equipment that laid around. A small growl escaped her as she thrusted her palm into on of the wooden training dummies. A loud crack split the air.
Silence prevailed over the training hall, with exception of the heavy breathing from the tiger. She wasn't tired, she was more irritated than tired. She heard movement behind her and she swiftly turned around and got into a ready position. When she saw that it was Viper, she put her arms down. Viper smiled, "I didn't mean to startle you."
"You didn't startle me." Viper gave a look that didn't show she believed the tiger. Tigress continued, "If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing here? It is an off-day, shouldn't you be hanging out with Crane?"
Viper chuckled, "I would usually do that, but I felt like I should check up on how you are doing."
Tigress instantly caught on to what the serpent was trying to do, "Look, I appreciate it, but I am fine."
Viper shook her head, "I don't think you are. You usually don't take your anger out on the equipment like this." She motioned to all the broken training equipment. "I understand that you are angry with Kyle-"
"I am not angry with him." A little irritation laced Tigress's voice. Viper gave a raised brow towards the tiger. Tigress had blown her 'I am fine' argument, so she decided to come clean to Viper. She could trust the serpent, couldn't she? "I am not angry with him. I know there is something up with him. He isn't acting right, and he refuses to tell me what is wrong. I feel irritated, I am… I am…" Tigress looked for a word.
"Hurt." Viper said that word with much emotion.
Tigress hadn't experienced that negative feeling much, but she knew that Viper was right. She had felt the same when Shifu never showed her affection when she was young. She nodded, "Yes." Her mouth went a little dry.
Viper continued, "Tell me more."
Tigress grew uncomfortable. She wasn't us to emotional counselling, especially when it didn't come from her master. "Why do you want to know."
Viper let out a sigh, "I think that it is time that you come to accept your feelings for Kyle."
Tigress gave a raised brow, "And what 'feelings' would you be speaking about, Viper?"
"You have some sort of romantic feeling for him, whether it is something small or something like love."
Tigress let out a growl, "I have no such feelings for him."
"I think that you do. Crane and I have watched you two. You care deeply for him, and he cares deeply for you. Even now, I don't think I have seen you so upset like this before."
Tigress was still resisting the snake's words. "We are best friends, of course I would be mad at what is happening."
Viper smiled, "I have gone through the same thing with Crane. While we weren't best friends, I was always elated whenever he was around. I can see the same thing when you two are together. And now, you are more depressed than I have ever seen you."
Tigress was silent. Tigress had never looked at it in this way. She was definitely happier with him around and she always felt better when they hung out, but was it a deeper feeling beyond that of a friend? And now, she did feel… pain.
Viper could see that Tigress was thinking about what she was saying, "All I wanted for you to do was think about all of this. I know this takes some time to process and determine how you feel."
Tigress couldn't respond as Zeng busted through the training hall doors with a squawk. He looked like he was under a lot of stress. He was barely able to breath out, "Masters! Bandits, in the valley."
Tigress put on her gameday face as she nodded to the bird. "Viper, collect the others and meet me down in the valley."
Viper nodded to the tiger and swiftly exited the building. Tigress was in a four-legged sprint down to the village. Her feelings were going to have to wait.
Viper was able to collect the other warriors as they joined Tigress on the descend to the valley. Even Kyle looked like he was ready for the fight. The other masters said he should sit this one out, but he didn't listen to any of them. He was trying desperately to hold the delusion that everything was fine, and this was a way for him to keep it together in his mind.
Po looked ready as he performed a few punches to the air, "So what are we up against? Crocs? Gorillas? How about some of those wolves?"
Crane flew barely above the group, "Zeng said it was nothing too serious, but it needs to be dealt with."
Mantis smirked, "Should we have a little contest to see who can take out the most bandits?"
Monkey laughed, "I could bet some of my cookies on that."
Po joined, "If Monkey's cookies are involved, I am so going to be a part of this."
Viper shook her head with a smile, "Boys…"
Tigress collected everyone's attention. "We have a job to do first. Don't let your petty contests get in the way of the villagers' safety."
The guys stopped their joking as soon as the tiger was done speaking. They got within view of the village as they were able to assess the damage. Bandits ran around disorganized but within groups. It should be very easy for the team to handle.
Tigress began spouting out commands. "Everyone, split up. Viper and Crane, you two cover the surrounding area of the village. The rest of us will work on those already in the village."
Everyone nodded to the basic plan formulated by Tigress. Now, they got to work.
POV: Kyle
Nothing was going to keep me from fulfilling my duty as a Master of the Jade Palace. While I was tired, these bandits not much of a threat. They had no heavy infantry, such as a gorilla or rhino. Along with that, they were poorly trained with their weapons. Just the basic bandit hoping to make some easy coin off plundering.
A few boars charged me with different weapons all ready to strike. A pose that I was quite familiar with as I have seen it a thousand times. I dodged the first strike and grabbed the arms of the unlucky boar. I spun him around and kicked him into a wall.
Another one came forward to strike me. I guess that they all wanted to fight me one-on-one. He didn't even register the strike. I kicked him backwards into the a few of his friends. They were all out for the count.
I looked around to see that the others were busy with a few bandits. They were not in any trouble. I turned around to see the apparition looking down at the unconscious bandits. "Pathetic. This village deserves a real threat."
I snarled, "What point would there be for trying to create misery for the Valley?"
The apparition shrugged and looked at me while I was in a defensive pose. "You can relax, I'm not here to bring you a nightmare."
"Then why are you here?" My heated gaze never leaving the form.
"It is time for the world to finally see you for what you are, a harbinger of doom. You are going to be a real threat, and I am going to help you." Their gaze turned malicious and cold.
I was now on guard, "And how are you going to do that? You already said you can't hurt my friends like this, so what leverage do you have over me?"
They apparition chuckled, "You don't think that the nightmares and visions were just for show, do you? They are a way for me to penetrate your mind and take control. While you are stronger than the usual host, you fell like the rest of them." My head pulsed from a migraine, and my vision was beginning to grow dark and hazy. I could see some bandits coming my way. "Once I'm in control, nowhere in China will be safe…"
POV: 3rd person
The final bandits were scattered and running from the village. Tigress let out the final heavy breaths as she looked around. She could see Viper and Crane coming back from their post, and the others were beginning to regroup with her. All except one…
Monkey looked around, "Where's Kyle. You think there are more bandits that he is dealing with?"
Crane took to the air, "I guess there is only one way to find out."
It didn't take the group long at all until they came upon noises that didn't sound pleasant to the ear. A flesh hitting rock permeated in the air as the group rounded the corner into an alley. They were greeted with a horrible sight. Kyle was crouched over one of the boars and was currently smashing hit head against the ground. The boar had long pass died.
The group looked at the at the scene to see blood-soaked rock and broken bodies. Some were barely alive, others were very much dead. They all focused back on the human as they could tell something was off. He wouldn't ever kill if he could help it in any way.
Mantis was first to speak, "What happened back here?"
Kyle's form stopped what it was doing and stood up slowly. They group noted how blood dripped from his knuckles… not his blood. When he stood, it was almost robotic. Like any thoughts was stripped from his mind.
The group became on guard. Tigress stepped forward, "Kyle, is everything alright?"
Kyle didn't answer as he flipped backwards and kicked Crane out of the air. The warriors weren't at all prepared for this. Kyle was able to land once again and threw Monkey over him. They all took a leap backwards as to avoid the attack from their friend.
Viper plead, "Kyle, what are you doing? You are our friend."
Kyle chuckled, but it didn't sound like it usually did. It felt cold. His face lifted as he gazed at the serpent. His voice was dark and deep, "Not anymore." His eyes lost their usual blue color. It was replaced with a blood red.
He grabbed the Viper's tail as he swung her around and threw her at an unsuspecting Mantis. They both crashed into a wall and left a few cracks.
Fully realizing that he wasn't going to be peaceful, Tigress gave the order. "Take him down." There was a little pain in her voice, but she understood this was no longer Kyle.
Crane and Po charged from one way while Tigress came from another. Kyle was able to jump and kick Crane down to the hard, stone ground while Po still tried to reason with the human. "I don't want to hurt you; can't we just talk this out."
Kyle didn't answer as he kicked the panda through a cart of supplies. The cart shattered as the panda flew down the alley. Tigress spun around and pinned Kyle to the wall. She looked into his eyes to see their state. She was unable to process this. How could this be…
"I will do what is necessary to protect the village." Her eyes translated an unspeakable coldness.
Kyle spoke, but it wasn't with his warm voice. "I'm sure you will, Master Tigress. He definitely holds you in very high regard. I will be sure to break you, it will make it easier to control this form."
Kyle grabbed her paw and perform a side flip. The pain from the twisted appendage was bad, but the kick that he delivered to her head brought the real damage. Her head smacked into the ground. She looked up to see that he was about to deliver a final strike, but his movement was stopped when he was a few centimeters away.
Viper held with all her might to subdue Kyle. Her body locked around one of his shoulders. She was able to hold on, but her grasp was slipping once he tried to pry her off. She was slipping a little and she feared that she wouldn't be able to hold on much longer. That was until a certain panda used his belly to bounce Kyle down the alley.
Viper unwrapped herself at the right moment was to not go with him. She helped Tigress up. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine. It was unexpected, but he won't get another chance like that." Tigress rubbed the sore part of her head.
Po spoke, "How are we supposed to beat him? He has shown that he is fully willing to kill us, and we won't do the same."
Viper affirmed, "And we still won't."
Mantis, Monkey, and Crane joined the other three. Monkey asked, "What is the plan? Kyle is kind of going crazy and he is kicking out butts."
Tigress shook her head, "I don't think that is Kyle."
Mantis scratched his head, "Ummmm, did you not see him? We only know one human."
Tigress elaborated, "What I mean is I don't think it is him fighting. His eyes were different, and he spoke in second person like he was someone entirely different."
Viper nodded, "I saw his eyes. Do you really think that it is someone else?"
Tigress nodded, "This must have been what he was hiding from us all. Another spirit must have infected him sometime recently. It is possible that Master Shifu knew of this and was trying to solve this."
Crane spoke, "That still doesn't solve what we should do right now."
Tigress thought for a second before she thought of something. "Alright, here's the plan…"
Kyle picked himself up from the rubble. He cracked his neck a few times to work out the kinks that had developed from his tumble. "Damn that panda can pack a punch." As he tried to move forward, his muscles seemed to want to resist the motion. The demon at the controls chuckled. "Still resisting, are you? Don't worry, when I'm done with your friends you will no longer resist."
"So, you aren't him."
Kyle looked over his shoulder to see Tigress. A devious smile formed on his face, "No, I'm not. I am something greater." The others jumped down and around him. "Surrounding me won't work."
With silence, the warriors all attacked the human. Kyle blocked and dodged all their strikes. When they were open to attack, he would strike them in places that would leave a mark. First, he knocked Monkey out with a strike to the face. Soon, Viper and Crane were out of the fight as their wounds kept them from continuing. Kyle turned forwards and saw that Tigress and Po were standing side-by-side.
"It is fitting that you two are the only ones left. Both people he cares immensely for."
Po expressed his anger, a tone that the panda doesn't usually hold, "You won't get away with this, so get ready to feel the thundah."
Po and Tigress charged Kyle as he was quickly put into a defensive position. He blocked as many strikes as possible, but a few did get through. A palm strike by Tigress smacked him into a wall. He shook his head to clear its haziness, "Now that is more like it."
This time, Kyle started the assault and directed it at Po. Po blocked a lot of them, but a strike found its way into his shoulder. Both Tigress and Po retreated a little, "Owww! Doesn't he seem, I don't know, stronger and better than before?"
Tigress nodded, "The spirit must be using its own power to get an edge over it. Just stick to the plan, it will work out."
Po nodded and looked forward to seeing a cart flying towards him. He didn't get out any words as it struck him and sent him flying backwards. Tigress looked from where Po once was to the human walking towards her slowly, "And then there was one."
He jumped forwards and sent a barrage of attacks her way. His movements were stronger and faster than before, and she was sent into a wall. She was out of breath and her body was screaming in abuse. Tried as she might, she was unable to get back to her feet. The demon knew this.
"How does it feel, Tigress, to fail. I know everything about you as I have gone through his mind to look at all your guys' forms. I know your fighting styles and weak points."
Tigress weakly got to her feet, "It seems like you didn't look well enough."
His eyes narrowed, "And how is that?"
Tigress spoke with some venom in her voice, "You forgot one of the lessons that I taught him, always mind your surroundings."
Kyle looked around to the incapacitated warriors. He noticed that one of them was missing. His eyes shot open with realization, "No…" His form went limp and fell forwards. Mantis was on the back of Kyle's collar. He must have struck him as the base of his neck to effectively knock him out.
The others were coming, and Po was walking back down the alley. He looked like he was mostly alright, a few scrapes here and there.
They all looked down at the unconscious form of their friend. Tigress motioned towards Po, "Help me carry him back to the palace. Crane, I need you to notify Master Shifu of the situation."
The group, minus Crane, was able to climb the many steps towards the Jade Palace. Waiting at the top was Master Shifu and Crane. Master Shifu held a look of great concern.
Tigress stepped forwards and bowed, "Master."
Master Shifu hobbled over to Kyles form, "Master Crane has notified me of what has occurred. I was afraid that something like this could happen. Come inside, I have a place that you can lay him."
They all walked through the massive doors and into the Hall of Heroes. Viper made her way to Shifu's side. "Tell us, Master, what are we going to do about this spirit."
Shifu made his way towards a large collection of scrolls that were in a pile. "Until today, I didn't know what to do. His symptoms could have been a result of many different poisons or demon possessions."
Tigress growled, "So, you did know! Why keep it from us!"
"For the benefit of the village, you all had to be kept in the dark. You wouldn't have been able to perform your duties if you all knew."
Tigress got angrier, "It could have killed us!"
Both master and student glared at one another. Master Shifu composed himself once again, "You are right, Master Tigress. It was unwise of me to keep this information away from you and to ask him the same." He motioned his hand at the unconscious Kyle.
Tigress let go of her frustration and looked down at her friend, "What do we do now?"
Master Shifu motioned for them to come closer, "I was getting to that. Before now, Kyle was only experiencing visions and nightmares. Any of those could be from a poison of the dozens of different spirit types that roam."
Po scratched his head, "Ummmm, what now? There are a ton of dead guys roaming around?" He looked over his and around his shoulders.
"Until they gain passage into the spirit world, they do roam around. There are passive spirits and active spirits, which are far rarer. Passive spirits seem more asleep than awake as they move about. The world around them doesn't affect them in any way. Active spirits roam around with total awareness of the material world. While they roam, they cannot affect anything within the material world." Shifu looked through the scrolls while he was giving this lesson.
Monkey asked, "Then how could Kyle get affected?"
Shifu answered while still searching for the correct scroll. "It is possible that Kyle was affected by some chemical to allow this spirit to take residence within his body. While it can't affect him directly, it can weaken the link between body and mind."
Crane finished Shifu's thought. "Allowing the spirit to take over."
"Correct you are, Master Crane."
Tigress asked, "Then what can we do to help him?"
Master Shifu found the scroll he was looking for, "Usually it takes a long time for a spirit to take over, possibly decades. However, this one was able to do it in a week. This aggressive take over could only mean this is one spirit…"
He handed the scroll over to Tigress so that his students could look at it. Mantis asked, "What is a 'Hei-an Spirit'?"
"It is a dark spirit, one that can only be removed through one method. Two of you must go into Kyle's mind and help him remove the spirit. It is highly risky for whoever goes, but our only option."
Monkey was confused, "What do you mean 'help him'?"
"Kyle's consciousness it always going to be tied to his body. He will be there to help any who go within."
The group talked amongst each other as to who will go. Tigress just looked down at her friend, she already knew that she would do whatever it took to rescue him. "I will go."
Everyone looked at her, and no one argued. Po stepped forward, "I will go as well. This spirit needs to be brought to justice."
Master Shifu nodded, "Come over here." He motioned to a place that had a mat laid out. The group made their way over while Po and Tigress carried Kyle over and laid him down as they sat right next to him. Master Shifu opened a wooden box to reveal a stone that was black and one that was white. He placed the black one in Kyle's hand as it glowed a little.
He then brought the white stone over to the two. "These are 'Psyche Stones'. The instant you touch this, your consciousness's will be transported within his mind. I cannot tell you what it will be like as I have never done this, but I can tell you on thing. It will be beyond most dangers you have faced. Any failure could lead to your consciousness's being destroyed and your bodies becoming empty vessels."
Tigress nodded, "We understand master. We will do anything in our power to ensure our victory." She looked down at Kyle. A feeling that she had barely felt washed over her. It was almost as if she knew the pain that Kyle was in at this moment.
Master Shifu nodded while he bowed, "I am proud of you both. Now go."
Po and Tigress grabbed the white stone. There senses were dulled to nothing as darkness enveloped their vision.
Two Parts down, one to go.
Now I bet you are all wondering why this took so long since it isn't a longer chapter than usual. I had written about half of it and decided it wasn't going into the direction that I wanted. So, I cut out large chunks of that and started over again. It was painful, but I hope it was worth it in terms of content.
Now, the next chapter will have a major reveal. I wonder if any of you guys can guess it, feel free to try. Someone has to see what is coming.
Anyways, Favorite, Follow, and/or review if you haven't already. As for the review part, it is always nice to hear from familiar faces (names).
Until Next Time.
