Chapter 21 I only had Ice for you part 3

I swear I can fee him and his crew is turning around sharply and heading straight for us.

"You have made Don Karnage very very angry!" We heard him growled in the other line. I snatched the radio and talk in it.

"H-he was just kidding! It was all just a silly just a joke!"I talked fast and try to make a good laugh. I heard him inhale in anger.

"A joke furless girl?! You all dare to make a fun over the greatest pirate ever walk in history?!"He screamed in the other line almost hurt my ear. That didn't go well. I rubbed my ear and then Baloo took the radio call from me and spoke, smirking.

"Nope it's not a joke, I have the rubies right here in my paws." He laughed. "Oh, I wished I could see your face now Karny!"

"Um, I don't think you should call the pirates on this batch Baloo," Kit gulped, right when he saw the air pirates coming after us. "We aren't safe even in Cape Suzettes yet."

"Yeah, we 're not even close to those cliffs and these air pirates are gaining on us," I added.

Baloo only tips his hat, acting like he got this down. "Ah relax guys, I know what I'm doing." All of sudden we get a radio call and I know what it was I swallowed.

"Sea duck this is Cape Suzettes control," A voice called.

"Aha see I told you we'll make it!" He grinned.

"Your hold the clear for landing," Baloo's face turned to shock after the radio called."Please assume holding over,"

"But this is number one emergency!" He exclaimed. "We got pirates up on our tail dock!"

"I'm sorry were in two planes and one glider ahead of you, you just have to wait," The Cape Suzettets control answered. Then Baloo made this fake scratching nose.

"Air control come in!" He said. I looked over at him in stunned, can't believe he's going to disobey them while Rebecca has her hand over her face like she has to deal with this. "I can't hear you, there's too much static," Again he made his fake scratching nose before hang up.

"Air Control says to wait!" Rebecca said.

We're going in anyway." Baloo argued, taking his seaduck full speed towards two cliffs.

"I say we're not!" She retorted.

"Baloo she has a point, you can't break their rules," I added. He looked at her and I and points at his window.

"From six to one they say we do!" I know he does have a point since we can't fight off them much longer but it'll get worse for him if he's not following their law. With that Baloo took a full speed towards the between the cliff and I saw a massive airship going in slowly. "Trust me I know what I'm doing!"

I grip Kit's seat to steady myself. "I hope you are doing this right!" Then we hear gunshot passing and it barely hit the seaduck but however, it made small broke the window near Kit and I making us yelped.

"GIVE UP BALOO!" We all hear Karnage roared in his radio. Before one of the air pirates can take another shot the Seaduck finally made through between the cliffs. I sigh in relief while Baloo smiled proudly.

"Whoo made it!"

"You shouldn't be doing this Baloo," Rebecca spoke, looking uncomfortable of how he was making this bad decision.

"And if you got, a better way draw me a postcard," He answered in a sarcastic way, focusing his driving. Then Kit look out his window and gulped.

"They're still one behind us skipper," I took a peek over and saw there was one after us, was surprised the Air control haven't even shot them yet.

"Shouldn't the control be shooting by now?" I asked. Baloo didn't answer my question instead said.

"It's not our biggest problem at the moment britches," We all looked ahead and I bite my lips to see the airship ahead of us. Everybody hold on!" With a swift movement, he made his seaduck tilt to the side of the wall but he was too quick that Rebecca and I didn't have time to grip on to something. Instead, we both crashed one another on the side and we all yelled when Baloo passes between him and the airship. The seaduck manages to get through and we flew on towards the city ahead of us.

"See I told you I know what I'm doing," Once again Baloo smiled, looking proud of himself and got his seaduck to fly right direction. He glances at everyone. "Is everyone okay…" He stops to see Rebecca and I on the floor with junk stuff all over us. "Oh,

"Yeah, we're fine," I grumbled getting up after shoving some small boxes off. I help Rebecca up and she dusted herself. When she was done she'd has a strict look and walk up beside Baloo."

"You're going to regret what you did,"

Baloo rolled his eyes of her act. "Oh come on Becky for once can you trust me on one simple thing?"

"Whenever you listen, you are told buster," She answered, Baloo was about to make a comeback but Kit piped in.

"At least we're all safe that counts. And don't forget we even saved much of rubies and jam."

"He's pretty much right," I added, as I went beside her. "If we even gave Don Garbage those rubies we would've flushed down our twenty-five grand down the toilet."

"See she gets it,"Baloo grinned.

"But,"I frowned at him, "What you did was unnecessary stupid and dangerous,"

He let out a groaned from our stubbornness. "Soon you'll thank me later, both of you." Soon we arrived at Higher for Hire and Kit and I unpacked some strawberry jam from the Seaduck. But Kit and I have to dig out rubies before we can give the barrels to the customers which it was a pain in the ass to do since these diamonds can camouflage easily through the jam. When we finally got all the rubies out, I've helped out giving the strawberry jam to the customer. It went out pretty well when he gives us a 5 grand total cash and soon another customer will be coming to pick up his rubies.

I decided while we're waiting for him I can quickly use a bathroom I walked in my room sigh heavily. "Man what a day," I muttered to myself and went in to do my business. When I was done, I heard Rebecca calling me.

"Ashley your not done yet, you still need to help with another customer."

"I'll be right out!" I replied, washing my hands. When I was about to head out, I caught a glimpse of a white envelope on my window sill. I gasped and rushed over and grabbed it without hesitating.

"My secret admirer he's was here!" I ripped it and pull out a white paper and as usual, has nice inked. I begin to read thoroughly.

Dear Ashley,
Forgive me for not giving you this letter sooner, it's been pretty busy lately.
So, I heard many stories of what happened, that was pretty dangerous for you to involve fighting crimes. Well at
least your safe now that's all the matter. One of these days we can finally meet together. I'm looking forward to seeing you.
And I hope you are as well. My heart still beats for you and I hope from my imagine you are
perfect woman to me.

I thought my heart was going to burst of how my secret admirer is sweet and kind. I smiled and begin to imagine what he would look like when I meet him. Maybe he can be strong? Handsome? Who knows, as long as he treats me well. I couldn't help reading my letter more even close to the end how he's says I was perfect. What if he changes his mind when he sees me? I thought. Then it was cut short when I heard Baloo screaming.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOUR TAKING AWAY MY LICENSES?!"

Uh oh," I muttered, knowing that doesn't sound good I stuff my letter in the rest of others in my drawer and rushed out to see what was going on.
