Ch.21
Cupa's POV
'What the hell happened' I thought groggily as I woke up slowly opening my eyes to a familiar sight, I was lying in a bed in Blitz lab/medical area. Rolling onto my side I saw another shape lying on the bed next to mine. The shape I recognised as the girl who we saved in the nether. 'The nether, shit what happened' I thought as I slowly began sitting up. "We kick the shit out of them" a vaguely familiar voice said. Freaking out I looked around in an attempt to find the source. 'I'm in your head idiot' the voice answered to my unspoken question.
"What" I said but was quickly cut off.
'Think it, we don't want to wake sleeping beauty up just yet' the voice said cutting me off.
'Who are you and how are you in my head' I said in my head getting upset at the thought of someone being in my head.
'I'm you stupid' the voice deadpanned mentally.
'Wait, what' I said shocked at the answer and wondering how she knew the voice was deadpanning.
'Because we share the same mind, so you know what I'm thinking and vice versa' the voice once again answered my question.
'But how'd you get there' I said.
'Well when you threw yourself in front of that lightning bolt, quite bravely I might add, your body became supercharged with energy and changed temporarily to better manipulate this energy, however this put a lot of strain on your mind, so it created me to deal with this influx of power' the voice said as I finally realised that I had gone through a process for a creeper known as becoming charged. When a creeper becomes charged they usually explode massively and die due to the influx of energy being too great, but because I'm a hybrid it affected me differently. 'Exactly right, there are those brains of ours' the voice said.
'So if your me but different, what do I call you' I said finally coming to terms with what was happening.
'I'm you, but charged so, how about CC' she answered confidently
'Short and self-explanatory, I like it' I answered still apprehensive about the person in my head.
'Oh just to let you know not all of the energy was dispersed and it has affected our organs, it seems that our explosive generator was finally healed by the surge but has now been altered to be able to output immense amounts of energy' CC said a little nervous as to how I would take it.
'Does that mean I could trigger a surge powerful enough to supercharge me again anytime' I said weighing the pros and cons of this.
'Not whenever you want, most likely only in a high stress situation but it may occur at random times' CC answered.
'So if that happens I'm guessing you will once again take control' I said feeling apprehensive at the fact that I could so easily lose my own body.
'Don't worry, it's not like I can permanently take over and anyway if I could I wouldn't, so, we cool' CC said to her smiling happily.
'Yeah, we're cool but I have one last question, how do you know so much about what's going on inside our bodies' I asked only half curious as the rest of her was mulling over what all this meant.
'Oh that's easy, because you in control I don't to focus on doing anything so my thoughts are free to analyse everything in our body' CC answered quite happy that I hadn't freaked out much.
'Well I'm still tired so good night' I said as I lied back down and fell asleep again.
Author's notes
Just want to say this chapter was strangely fun to write so expect more internal arguments in the future. Also I just want to clarify to everyone "this is speech" and 'this is what I use for internal dialogue' such as thought and CC and Cupa's conversations, just so no one gets confused. Thanks to whiten the wither for your review last chapter. Finally I just want to know what you guys think about this chapter especially I want to know your thoughts on CC.
