Nate hurried to the lake. He looked at the rock, but Ella wasn't there. He went over to the rock and found Ella laying on the ground. He picked her up trembling and rushed home. The doctor was still in with her in her bedroom. Nate waited outside impatiently. I didn't protect her well, he blamed himself. How much do I have to hate myself? He waited until the doctor came out. "Is she okay?" he immediately asked the doctor when he came out.
The doctor smiled at Nate and put his thumb up. "She just had a headache. Women usually have that when they're pregnant, so you have to take extra care for her. I got my other patient too. You should stay with your wife," he said as he walked away.
"Thank you," Nate bow at him and went to Ella. She was still sleeping. He stretch out his hand and hold her hands. "I'm sorry," Nate apologize to Ella. "I'm sorry," and that was all he could do. He put his head down while holding Ella's hand with his hand.
Ella slowly opened her eyes as she just woke up. "Hey," she said with a soft smile. "I'm okay," she said as she grip Nate's hand.
Nate smiled at her. "You scared me there," and he fake a laugh. "You know I could've have a heart attack?" he fake a joke. Ella laugh. "Promise me you won't go there ever alone."
Ella looked at Nate: "Yeah, promise."
"Pinky promise?"
"Yeah, pinky promise," Ella said as she cross her pinky with her servant.
"After you rest, wanna go to the market?"
"Yeah, let's do that," Ella said as she closes her eye again and fall asleep. Nate stay with her the whole time. As Ella fall asleep, her handkerchief fall off to the ground. Nate picked it up and looked at it. It says Ella on the corner with white roses surrounding it. Did she had this with her the whole time? he thought. Maybe she remember her name? Is that why she said that she saw this weird dude? Nate was being suspicious right as he asked himself more question. After 3 hours, Ella woke up again. When she woke up, Nate was sleeping in beside her holding her hand. She rise her hand still holding onto Nate's hand and put her other hand on top of his. Then she slowly wake him up with her hand. And she slowly stroke his brown hair backward. Then Nate slowly wake up. "You awake?" Ella asked.
"Yeah," he said as he kiss her hand that he's been holding. Ella blushed in red. Nate look up and saw Ella face blushing. He laugh and this time he wasn't faking it. It's cute, he thought. "Do you like me now?" he asked. Ella blushed more and sat quietly. Nate laugh again: "I'm joking." Then he stood up and help the princess out of bed. "Let me help you get ready," he said as he helped her. He brushes her hair and tied it up into a ponytail. And put some makeup on her. And gave her a lovely dress.
"We're going to the store, do you need anything doctor?" Ella asked as she and Nate were about to head out.
"No. Have a nice time you guys," the doctor waves at them as they went.
"Do you think we had enough meat?" Ella asked Nate.
"I think we might need a bit more for the patient," he said.
As they walked by a ice cream store, Ella stopped. Nate went as he didn't notice that the princess had stop and kept on walking. Ella looked at the ice cream and water stroll from her face. That look so delicious, she thought. Wait, I've never ate ice cream before. And then she smiled, my baby is hungry. Then she chuckle happily. "Nate," she turn around and there was no Nate. "Where is he?" Then she look around and there was a lot of people. Even though she had gone to the market she had never felt to scared before. I'm trembling, she thought. Nate, I'm scared, she thought to herself again. Please find me.
"Two ice cream please," said a man with a familiar voice. Ella look up. She was surprise to see the man in her thought. The guy that was in her mind that wouldn't stop popping out. He turn to her and smiled. His hair, his smile, and his voice all match the guy that was in her thought. He smiled at her again. "You don't remember me?" Ella shake her head from left to right saying no. He laugh at her. "I'm the guy from this morning. Well, it's okay if you don't remember me." The ice cream maker gave the guy two ice cream. "Here," the guy said as he gave Ella one ice cream. "Women usually like ice cream when they're pregnant," he said as he look down her stomach.
Ella slowly rise her hand and receive the ice cream. "Thank you," she said as she bow at him.
"No need to thank me," he said as if he's embarrassed. "What's your name?" he asked.
"My name? I don't have a name," she said as she looked at him. "And yours?"
"I'm Estein," he said proudly.
"Estein..." Ella repeat. "I feel like I've heard that name before," the king looked at her in amazed.
"You have? From where? Is it from a girl?"
"Yeah," now Estein had all ears for her. "She..."
"Where is she now?"
"Are you trying to find her?"
Estein looked down. "Yeah," he said slowly like he's sad. "You see, I did some bad things to her and I didn't notice my feeling for her. I kept on pushing her to go away from me, but she never did. She was loyal to me even when I did something bad to her. She's my Cinderella."
Ella was amazed. So he was trying to find her, Ella thought. "I don't know where she is, but I hope you find her soon."
Estien try to look happy. "Yeah, well, thank you. See you around." Then he walked away. Ella stood there seeing the man walking away. I hope you find her, she said in her mind. Then someone grab her hand. She turn and there was Nate. He was huffing and huffing.
"Where were you?" Nate said angrily. "I was finding you this whole time. Do you know that I was worrying about you?!"
Ella stood there looking at Nate. "I'm sorry-" Nate pulled her into a hug.
"Don't make me worry like that," he said as he blushed at her. Ella smiled.
"Sorry." Nate pulled back and hold her hand.
"This way you won't get lost."
Ella smiled as she eats her ice cream. They walked and walked. As they get close to home, Nate asked her how she get the ice cream. "This guy saw me looking at it and bought it for me."
"A guy gave it to you?" Nate was jealous. "You could've told me," he pout at the princess.
"Okay. Next time buy me a ice cream okay Nate?"
Nate smiled at her. "Yeah, I'll buy you a ice cream next time."
"Pinky promise?"
"Pinky promis," Nate said as he cross his pinky with Ella.
Estein on the other side was on his room thinking about the girl that she met today. I swear she looked like Ella, he thought. Maybe it's her, he thought again. Then he sign. A big sign. A knock was on the door: "Come in," said the king. Rose came in with a night gown. "What is it, Rose?"
"Please let me sleep with you today, your majesty."
"I'm tired and you should go to sleep on your bed."
"But I'm scared your majesty. I haven't had a good night sleep recently," she lied.
"Go back," the king order.
Guess I have no choice but to do this, Rose thought. She strip herself in front of the king. But before that she locked the door. She was full naked as she walked up to the king. "Please," she beg the king. "Just tonight hold me in your arms." She walked up to the king as she put her hand on his chest. Estien was still and not moving. Rose put her other hand on the king's face and pull it down so he can looked at her. Then Estein looked away.
"Don't waste your beauty like this. You should move on and love someone else."
"But I want you," Rose beg again. Then she push Estein onto the bed and ride on top of him. She lean down as she slowly kiss Estein on the lips. Estein move away before Rose could kiss him. "Now you're not even going to kiss me anymore? Am I that ugly now?" she begin to cry.
"Rose," Estein stood up and sit next to her. Then he hugged her. "I don't have any feeling for you. And I don't want to hurt you more than this. So why not just stop this now." Then he stood up from the bed. "You can sleep in my bed tonight if you want. I'll sleep somewhere else," he said as he walked out of the room. Rose scream as he went.
"Argg! I hate you Ella! It's because of you that Estein didn't like me anymore. I hate you!" After a while, Rose calmed down. Then she looked around the room and saw Ella's shoe. Her glass slipper. That was the first time that Rose had seen Ella was at the ball when the previous king was choosing a bride for the prince. Rose threw the glass slipper into the ground and scream again and walked out of the room. She went back to her room frustrated. Justin was already in her bed when she returned. "Why are you here?" she asked him.
"I'm here to cheer you up," he said as he walked up to her and hugged her. "Let me cheer you up," Justin said as he pushed Rose down on the bed.
"I really hate the princess. I wish the king never find her. She's such a trouble maker."
"Yeah. Let's hope he never find her."
On the other side, Nate and Ella was outside looking at stars. The doctor had fallen asleep and left the couple alone. "Nate?"
"Yeah," Nate said as he hold the princess's hand. "Is something bugging you? What is it?"
"I just notice that you've never said my name before. What's my name?"
"Why do you want to know your name?"
"It's just that when people ask me my name, I don't know what to respond."
He hold her hand tighter. "I thought you remember your name."
"I still haven't remember it."
"Then why do you have that handkerchief that said your name on it."
"That's not mine. It's a guy's handkerchief. He gave it to me this morning. He's the same guy that gave me the ice cream."
"What's his name?"
"His name..." she pause. "Why do you want to know his name?"
"Ahh. Never mind. I'm hate myself for being jealous." Then he blushes in red again.
Ella laugh at him. "I'm glad that I have you," she said. Then she pulled out the handkerchief. "Ella? Is that my name?"
"Yeah," Nate nod at her.
"Why does he have my name on it then?" she asked.
"Maybe he's girl has the same name," Nate said clueless. Though he didn't know that it was Estein, he still had some suspicious that it might be Estien.
"Yeah," Ella said as she looked at the sky again. Nate took off his coat and put it over the princess. "Thank you," Ella put the coat on her.
"Ella do you love me?" Nate suddenly asked. Ella stay still deep in thought. "I really love you, so I want to hear what you think of me."
"You're a really kind person, but I don't know my feeling yet so I can't answer you right now."
There was a quiet moment for them. The Nate begin, "It's okay. I mean I make it awkward huh. I know you probably don't understand your feeling yet so I'll wait until you really know your feeling."
"Nate..."
"Huh?"
"Why did you like me?" Nate look at her.
"I like you because you are you. I like you because you're kind and you're always true to everything that you said. I love you because you are you." Ella hugged him.
"I've always wanted someone to tell me that," she said as she hugged him tighter.
One months have past and Ella stomach grew more and more. She touch her stomach again. "Hi, baby are you hungry," she said happily to the baby. "Do you want some ice cream? Let's go ask daddy," then she went to find Nate around the house. Nate's not in the bathroom. Not in the kitchen. Not in the bedroom. Not in the yard. Where is Nate, Ella thought. Maybe he went to the lake, she thought. She put on her coat and went to find Nate. In a couple minutes later, Nate came back. He was carrying log as he put them in the cabin.
"Ella, I'm home," he called. He waited and there was no answering. Then he went inside the house and there was no one in there. "Ella, where are you?" Maybe she went to the market, he thought. Then he rushes to the market and find her.
On the other side, Estein was sitting on the rock in the same lake that Ella have been sitting at with five ice cream on a bag. He thought that if he eats all the ice cream then his heart wouldn't be bursting like this. This'll cool down my head, he thought.
In far away, Estein looked like Nate. Slender and shinny hair when the sun is shining to it. "Nate!" Ella called out. "I want some ice cream!" Ella scream happily. "Let's go and buy some ice cream!" she scream again so Nate could hear her. But it wasn't Nate.
Estein turn around mad because someone was ruining his sad mood. He turn around and saw the resemble Ella. The girl that had look like Ella. What is she doing here? he thought. Isn't she suppose to stay home? He stood up and walked over to the woman. As Estein get closer to Ella, she notice that it wasn't Nate.
"What are you screaming about?"
"Sorry, I thought you were my husband," she laugh in embarrassment.
"I heard you say Nate, right?"
"Yeah. That's my husband's name."
"Nate..." Estein repeat. "I feel like I've heard that name before. Nah."
"Oh, here," Ella handed him his handkerchief. "I washed it. I can't believe your girlfriend had the same name as me," she said smiling. "Well, I got to go. Bye," then the princess turn around.
"Wait," Estein thought. He was totally confused now. "Your name is Ella?"
Ella turn to face the man. "Yeah. I just found out a month ago that my name is Ella. Bye," and she turn and walked away. Estein stood there and froze. How could this be? Her name is Ella and she had the same face as Ella, is she the same person? Estein decided to follow her. Ella walked as she didn't notice that someone was following her. Then she saw Nate running up to her.
"Ella!" Nate cried. "Where were you? I was worrying about you?"
"I was searching for you too," Ella said.
Estein was behind a tree listening to their conversation. Should I peek and look at her husband? Estein ask himself. Yeah, I should. He slowly shift his head so he could see the man's face. And he was surprise when he saw Ella's servant. What's he doing her? he thought. The servant gave the woman a ice cream and they walked off. Estein stood leaning against the tree and thought to himself. If Ella's servant is with another girl then Ella must be alone? I have to find out. To BE ConTinueeeeee...
