Chapter 21: Itsuki's Log Case 117: Entry #5

Things are becoming far more troubling than I had imagined.

I recently read the reports regarding the incident within the gunpowder squadron, the Queen's most loyal security branch.

A traitor attempted to steal the royal rings of wind and water at the academy and nearly escaped.

Thanks to my brother yet again so I've heard though I cannot seem to give much thought on his interaction with Henrietta.

He has been unwilling to divulge what had happened the other night during Henrietta's secret plan to draw out yet another traitor.

That time it was a member of her own government!

If not for her judgment or Kazuko protecting her majesty chaos would have engulfed this country.

On the subject of the gunpowder traitor, the reports from the captain says she was interrogated and had been the key to identifying the government official.

Her sentence was apparently reduced though I find it unlikely, given how Agnes figured it out due to her vice- captain's incompetence.

It's one thing to have security guards being corrupted in the grand scheme of things.

However an official of government is far worse.

He was the grand judge of the court, and he had much weight in the system.

The amount of treachery only confirms my suspicions regarding the integrity of Henrietta's government.

I regret to say but recent events have made it abundantly clear that the royal guard can no longer guarantee the safety of the Queen.

I may need to request The Order send in my personal guard.

They are followers dedicated to my view of things and would die for me.

Something the Mobius Strip offers to those who protect it.

It would mean that it would enact the, Divine Intervention, gambit.

My troops would keep things in a state of martial law while I command the affairs my way.

It would ensure balance in the end but it's a risk seeing most people view it as invasion.

Couldn't blame them seeing how it mirrors tactics similar to the result of invasion.

However it is not invading, it is protection and it's only temporary.

I am still wondering what came between Henrietta and my brother.

Perhaps it's nothing I should concern myself with maybe but it should be known what it means in the grand scheme of things.

If they have grown too close, then it would present...complications.

Henrietta would shield Kazuko from my nosing in their business regarding their past.

Which makes me question, Is Kazuko even talking to her about it?!

It's critical that I figure out what happened to him.

Things would be too much at risk if not uncovered.

Even the slightest detail could compromise my entire occupation and this world.

The Multi-verse is at risk if I don't figure it out.

Kazuko must confront her on this matter immediately. Or at least when things are calmer.

Kazuko's feelings are starting to deter him from his true goal for getting close to Henrietta.

Focusing on what must be done now I must send in a request for preparing Divine Intervention so that when I need it I will be ready.

Kazuko must find out the gap in his memories and Tristain must advance against the enemy.

Too much is happening and I have little time to deal with all of it alone.

As I look at this country I fear that Divine Intervention may be necessary.

The subject of my next report will focus on my thoughts of Kazuko's compromising relationship with Queen Henrietta
