A/N: The beginning part here is Cat on the phone with her publicist. You can only hear what Cat is saying.
This is just a filler chapter. Sorry for the wait. It's kind of short.
Narrator POV
(6 months later)
"WWAAHHHHHHHHHH"
"Robbie can you get Cadence I'm on the phone!" Cat called out to Robbie who was in the other room before continuing her conversation.
"I know that, Marsha but I'm not leaving Cadence all day without her mother." Cat argued.
"When she doesn't need me. Maybe a year and a half? Two years? Would you leave Carter?" Cat asked.
"Exactly."
"I don't care what Jimmy thinks, I'm doing what I think is right."
"Okay so you can tell Jimmy that and that both Robbie and Cadence will come on tour with me whether he likes it or not."
"Thanks Marsha. See you soon."
Cat hung up the phone before burying her face in her hands. Her boss was trying to get her back in the studio as soon as possible and release her album. But an album release means more interviews, more long hours at work, and more traveling.
Cadence was only 6 months old and there was no way Cat was leaving her every day.
Cat groaned, straightening up and heading to Cadence's room.
Cat entered the yellow room to find Robbie in the rocking chair, rocking her back to sleep in his arms as she drank from a bottle.
It was about 1:00pm and it was Cadence's nap time.
"You got her back to sleep?" Cat whispered, walking over to him and kiss her head gently.
"Yeah…" He trailed off, standing up and going over to her crib.
Once she was back in her crib and sleeping, Cat and Robbie left her room and headed down stairs.
"Everything okay?" Robbie asked, gesturing to the papers that were spread out along their counter top.
"Yeah…they just want me back to work soon but that's not happening until I feel it's right." Cat explained.
"Of course. They can't force you to leave your baby." Robbie agreed.
Cat sighed heavily, running a hand through her long red hair.
"You okay?" Robbie asked gently.
"No…yeah…it's just everything is stressing me out right now." She groaned.
"Why?"
"Because I have to deal with the album, the next album, interviews, the tour…and everything that goes on around here." She sighed again. "I just need a break."
Robbie walked up to her, wrapping his arms around her from behind, swaying her back and forth as she leaned into him.
"Then take a break…" He mumbled against her hair.
She chuckled. "I wish."
"Cadence is asleep, you aren't doing anything right now…just relax." He soothed, kissing her neck gently.
She closed her eyes as he continued to kiss her neck softly, enjoying the moment of peace. Cat turned around in his grip, wrapping her arms around his neck before pecking his lips. After pulling away, Robbie leaned back in, kissing her tenderly.
He tried to pull away but was pulled closer by Cat who was gripping the collar of his shirt, kissing him eagerly. She slowly slid her tongue into his mouth as he pulled her closer to him. After a moment, Robbie lifted her up, placing her on the counter top in front of him, continuing their make out session.
"WWAAAHHHHHHH!"
"Let her…put herself…back to sleep…" Cat said in between kisses, knotting her fingers in Robbie's curls.
Robbie just moaned in response, continuing to kiss her roughly.
"WWAHHHHHHHH!"
"Cat…" Robbie mumbled, pulling away gently, nipping her top lip.
"Robbie…" She mimicked.
"I don't think she going to go back to sleep." Robbie stated as Cadence continued to cry, resting his forehead on hers.
"But I want to make out with youuu…" She complained.
"Later. I promise." He said, pecking her lips softly.
"WWAAAAAHHHHHH!"
"Ugh…I guess Momma should go get her baby." Cat groaned, hopping off the counter.
"Go get her Momma." Robbie teased, patting her butt lightly as she walked away.
…
…
(8:00pm)
"Cat come on. Talk to me." Robbie begged.
Cat just turned her back to him in response, switching threw channels on the TV.
"I didn't mean it!" He tried.
"You called me stupid Robbie! You hurt my feelings!" She pouted, still not looking at him.
"No I didn't! I said your idea was stupid!"
"That's still mean!" She yelled, whacking his chest.
"Ow! Can you be quiet!? You are going to wake Cadence up!" He hissed. "And you can go up there if she wakes up." He threatened.
"What's the difference? I would still be the one going up there any way!" She yelled.
"WWAAAAAAHHHHH!"
"See what you did." Cat spat, heading upstairs.
"What I did? You're the one yelling and getting mad over something stupid." Robbie argued, following her up there.
"Yeah. My stupid idea." She spat.
"Cat come on! I didn't mean it!" He tried as they reached her room.
"Did you even notice that you haven't even apologized?" She asked, before closing the door on his face.
…
Cat came down stairs and half hour later after finally getting Cadence to fall asleep.
Without a word she sat on the couch, as far away from Robbie as possible, not even sneaking a glance at him.
Robbie smirked, scooting close to her. "You come here often?" He asked her, acting as if he didn't know her.
"Only when my husband is being an ass hole." She responded.
"Well do you mind helping me with something? My wife is really pissed at me for something stupid I said…and I want to make it up to her." Robbie explained.
"Try apologizing." She said, still not looking at him.
"Well I figured I'd make it up to her…without using words…" He whispered, getting closer to her. "Any suggestions?"
Robbie couldn't help but smile as he saw her lips curve up in a small smirk.
"You're lucky I love you." She smiled, finally looking at him.
"Am I forgiven?" He asked hopefully.
"Depends…what do you have to offer?" She whispered suggestively.
"What do you want?" He asked.
"You." She smiled deviously before kissing him passionately, knocking him back onto the couch as she straddled his waist.
A/N: I know it's short but I only updated this just because I haven't updated in forever. I'm thinking of stuff for this story don't worry.
BTW I changed Unconditionally to Believe instead. When I first thought of the story I was thinking about Katy Perry's song Unconditionally but the theme of the story has changed dramatically and Believe by Justin Bieber fits it perfectly.
Like, you know when you are writing a story and at first it is supposed to have one meaning then the next thing you know you took a totally different turn? Yeah well that's what happened haha.
I'm in the middle of a chapter for Believe but it will probably be up tomorrow. Hope you liked this even though it was short. It was just a little filler to keep you guys accupied.
Love yous
Madison
