"So you're Takamine Mion Chan? You're definitely cuter in person~ Do you know who I am?"
"Such an annoying pick-up line… Why am I getting so angry?"
"Are you a fan? Mion has heard that line so many times so…"
"Mion sounds so natural… More like she looks angry…"
"Mou Takamine Chan. I'm Hyuuga Wataru, part of Callings. So, will you allow me to escort you today? We have to get to know each other more, even if it is our first encounter." One word in his entire act caught her attention (Do you know which one?). This led her to take ahold of his extended hand before even asking where he was planning to take her.
"Where are we going Hyuuga san?"
"Wataru is fine! My friend, Ome, gave me tickets to the movie theater! We'll watch whatever movie you want, Takamine Chan! Don't worry the tickets will get us into any one of the movies!"
"I wasn't thinking about that…" He heard her but very faintly.
"That's good. The last thing I want is to continue to look unreliable in your eyes, Mion."
"What are you whispering to yourself Wataru… k-kun?" His reply was a simple grin that posed too many questions. Trying to tell her not to worry about, Wataru found himself bringing up the movie choices. It made it simple that the movie theater had all the available movie posters side by side, in front of the entrance. And Wataru having special tickets also allowed the two to simply go into the theater of what movie Mion wanted to watch.
"Cartoon, cartoon, romance, horror, horror, and drama? What a weird line-up…" The guy of the date was still in a good mood when he asked his annoyed date, what her favorite genre of movies was. She was staring intently at the poster for "Spotlight", a dramatic movie, while muttering some unknown words.
"We recommend 'Who's next?'. The seats for both cartoons and 'Spotlight' have all been taken. We're sorry for the inconvenience." The woman at the desk accosted them first, obviously to look good in front of Wataru.
"What do you say Takamine Chan? That romance reminds of 'Gone With the Wind'." That made Mion smile because it was funny. But she needed to ask an important question. The tension of the conversation rose as she turned to the woman.
"H-How long is the movie?"
"Two hours. The reviews say that this movie is very good, in terms of horror. In fact, every Saturday we always have the most customers coming to watch this movie. Will you pick this movie?" She wasn't exactly in for the idea but Mion agreed anyway. As Wataru gave in the tickets, Mion went to the nearby pillar and dialed Ome's number.
"Hey Mion. Did you come for advice on how to beat Wataru at the game he proposed?"
"Well… Wait no! How long do you think I'd be able to take a horror movie Ome?"
"So you had to pick a horror movie out of all the screenings… You have my pity Mion." Stubborn Mion yelled that she did not need sympathy. And Ome's answer to her question was a short 10 minutes. If Mion was looking for reassurance, she was not going to get it from Ome.
"Only 10 minutes?"
"Anyway I'll give you a tip on how to make Wataru bring out his hidden desires-"
"I don't want to be the victim of Wataru's h-hidden desires…"
"Sure you do. Now listen…." Her voice got lower as Wataru approached Mion.
"It's time to go in Takamine Chan. The movie's about to start. The second she saw his confused face because he didn't know the contents of her conversation with Ome, Mion couldn't help but turn pink.
"You know I can already tell that this is going to be one love comedy date~" She hung up to avoid getting yelled at by a flustered Mion.
"S-So you know Ome too, Takamine Chan?"
"Y-Yeah Wataru kun… Shall we go?" Just as they pushed the doors of the theater open, the introduction of the movie started.
"My friends said that the main character's name is never revealed. The summary says that she's about 15 years old and when she went home, she found her dead parents killed by something supernatural. After that, she finds that something's always trailing her when she tries to move to her aunt's house. Apparently it was ghost that killed her parents and now they want her too! This is exciting!"
"Can you really call that exciting…?" Wataru turned to her and proposed another game.
"Everytime something's about to happen to the main character, we guess which side it's coming from with position words. If I win, the next place we go to will be decided by me. If you win, we'll go wherever you want~ How about it?"
"Like I'm going to allow Wataru to beat me." Her answer was a simple smirk. The movie progressed with no narrator as the tension rose in the audience. Even Wataru looked a bit nervous. The screen darkened as she opened the entrance door.
"Definitely behind her."
"Nope, I say in front of her when she opens the next door."
"D-Doesn't that mean that she'll catch it in the act…?!" As the door creaked open, a figure standing over the heroine's lifeless parents turned its head. The piercing eyes and madman smile caused Mion to grab Wataru's hand.
"Looks like I get a point~"
"Don't think of that at a time like this…"
"Is that Takamine Chan's way of saying, 'Think about me right now!'?"
"You're wrong!" A series of screams followed her loud outburst. The perpentrator of the murder crawled toward the main character's feet, hoping to drag her down. But because of hitting it with her schoolbag, the spirit retreated with another plan up its sleeve. That left the girl staring at her own parents with scared eyes. The camera zoomed in on the faces of the lifeless parents. Their despairing faces in a pool of "blood" left all the females (including the main character in the movie) in fear. The table and chairs having "blood" smeared all over them added to the scary scene.
"No wonder why this movie gets such amazing reviews." While Mion was getting dizzy from the scary moment, Wataru tried to force a smile. She tried to reassure herself that she wasn't scared while he tried to tell her that there was no need to act tough in front of her Her reply of "I'm not acting tough! Don't talk like you know me on a daily basis!" made him frown.
"Whether we are acting or not, that sounds like something Mion would say anyway… How uncute…" She withdrew her hand from Wataru's grip.
"Why are you getting so embarrassed Takamine Chan? We held hands before too~" Because the movie went to the funeral, Wataru felt that this was the perfect time to have some fun.
"Because we both know that I was wearing gloves…" Even if she knew that Wataru was purposely provoking her, Mion couldn't help but shake with a mix of anger and abashment. And before they knew it, the one minute funeral had ended with a simply view of the crestfallen face of the daughter left alone. Because she refused to speak and just looked down, Mion really did feel a small resemblance between the protagonist and herself. That face reminded her of herself as a child, before she decided to busy herself with being a top model. The image of her waiting alone, in hope of her parents coming home at least once every week, haunted her as Mion continued to watch the movie. Even after the funeral, the depressed look didn't come off the girl's face. School became something that she couldn't enjoy and she dreaded going to her aunt's place because, no one was going to come greet her. Her aunt was one of her only relatives left and she wasn't home often from business trips. There was no one she could go to for support. It was obvious that the mysterious killer was still stuck in her mind. Mion started feeling scared when a shadow was approaching the main character from behind as she stood there frozen from knowing how much danger she was in too.
"Are you waiting for me to come for you too?" The voice creeped out the audience.
"M-Mama?" A pale hand grabbed her ankle as she turned the other way.
Mion let out a big yell that surprised other people. After ten minutes, the crowd just found out who they were watching the movie with. Other girls also let out similar yells as the persistent ghost's face was zoomed in by the filming camera. Despite letting out her piercing yell, Mion still shook with fear for upcoming horror scenes as she tried to hide her face by sinking lower than the vacant seat in front of her, When she looked up, the heroine had escaped from being dragged into a manhole by the vengeful spirit out to get her but looked down to see her white sock drenched in a handprint of blood.
It seemed that he was more interested in continuing their game.
"Looks like the game won't be continuing…" He laughed at her pout.
"If you want to play so much, play by yourself Wataru kun." The heroine ran to her aunt's house and quickly opened the door. Darkness was staring back at her. It was set in winter, so there wouldn't be any sunlight penetrating through the windows anyway. The second she proceeded to her open bedroom door, Wataru sprung into action.
"Sorry in advance." Mion felt so weak when she couldn't struggle against Wataru's grip on her. It was only for a second that she felt herself being pulled by the wrist into his chest. After a few seconds of silence, she found that he was simply doing it to help her feel less scared by obstructing her view on the red paint stained bedroom.
"I appreciate your idea of helping me Wataru kun… But Mion is a bit nervous because it's the first time she's been hugged by a boy-" He let go of her immediately from embarrassment. Despite this, his mood lightened up when he realized that she just phrased her own embarrassment behind that facade of hers.
"There's no other girl that is so interesting…" Mion yelled again when she saw a fake hand coming out of the luggage the main character had yet to unpack. Of course, she instictively grabbed Wataru again, basically recreating the same situation she just got herself out of.
"Don't make it sound like I was the one that needed Wataru to be here…"
"Checkmate. But since she's in this state, I'll let that go… Because it's my duty to protect her." The commercial break relieved the watching crowd as some people sighed. While he was thinking of protecting her, the chance to tease her was too tempting to let go so when the lights turned back on for a minute, Wataru got ready to raise his voice.
"Ahem. I'm happy that you're so daring but Takamine Chan, it's hard to move in this position." Everyone turned to them and people started flipping out that Takamine Mion and Hyuuga Wataru had been sitting near them the entire time. Mion instantly jolted away from Wataru. The male customer two seats away from them was about to succeed in catching her but Wataru staring at her perplexed face grabbed her by the arm and pulled her into him. And the same situation happened. More questions sprang up. Wataru didn't get the retort he expected. This is because Mion was preoccupied on trying not to go crazy being buried in Wataru's arms. And… Despite being a top idol, she was trying to not go crazy about being so close to Wataru, she could smell his cologne.
Steve: There's nothing to be ashamed of, Mion Chan- *gets a big kick to the face*
Mion: What are you talking about? I'm not thinking of anything but him letting go!
Steve: Mion Chan~
Mion: Get away!
Ome: Well at least we've established that Steve's a, Do-M idiot.
Seiji: Wait, I thought between the two, Steve would totally be a sadist like you-
Ome: You have my condolences Mion. And for one thing, I'm not sadistic. I have my own category.
Seiji: Y-You do?
Ome: Of course. It's the "Two strings to one bow" category!
Mion: Help me!
Ome: I'd prefer not to. But I'm sure Saori would-
Saori: Idiot son! You're chasing the wrong person!
Ome: He is not-
Seiji: Come on Steve! You still need to repay Ome for leaving you behind today!
"Why am I flipping out about having to be hugged by Wataru?! Even if I was rejected, it doesn't mean that I have to like Wataru! More like that shouldn't be the case!"
"You're so cute Takamine Chan. Is being this close making you turn this red?" Before she knew it, he was staring at her face with a boyish grin. His features being up close was the last straw. Mion pushed her way out of his grip and stood up with a pink face.
"Why does this need to happen on a mock date?!"
"This was simply a mock date?!" Wataru burst out laughing.
"And there you have it folks. Sorry for the suspense."
"You planned this didn't you?!"
"Now, now Takamine Chan, sit down. The movie is back." The movie had fast-forwarded to the next day. It took an even more horrifying turn as the heroine found blood tracks leading to her classroom. It made it worse that no one was in the hallway. At least some people had to be in the school at 7:30. But the hallway was totally empty.
Mion heard the girls in the front, quiver with fear. She thought she was thinking too much too. When she put her trembling hand up, it was entwined with Wataru's bigger hand whem he grabbed it. Her gaze left their linked fingers and fell to the movie.
"That's right. If I don't go along with this, who knows what Wataru would do to tease me again… I'm not losing!" The screams of the audience and the heroine's coincided. Mion's eyes were face to face with a horrible massacre scene.
"Don't worry." When the girl in front of them looked back to see Mion gripping Wataru's sleeve from fear, he put a finger to his lips. The loud screams made Mion unable to answer Wataru's question of if they were still continuing the game.
Coming out of the theater, Ome was back on the phone with Mion. Ome's teasing of, if Mion had fun in there was cut short with Wataru's obesession with winning against Mion.
"So Takamine Chan, am I allowed to count the game as my win?" She remembered back to the one round of guessing and how she lost before she "forefeited" anyway.
"Where do you have in mind?"
"I actually don't have a place in mind… It was just something for fun…"
"Mou! If you thought of a game with that as the prize, give the prize some thought!"
"Then how about we walk around until I find the place I want to go with you?"
"How sweet~ What, did give into your hidden desires Mion Chan?" She hung up from embarrassment. After telling him that she didn't want to go around the entire town to find a place and his "Rodger!", Wataru grabbed her hand and ran out of the movie theater with her. not minding the contact. They set off on a brisk run until he stopped when she called his name/ He turned back to see Mion looking into a, no matter how you look at it, cosplay center.
"I never thought you had this hobby Taka-"
"Don't spew nonsense. I just see one of my friends in here." He looked in to see Rizumu and Jiro in there. His eyes widened when from around the corner, he saw Kiri and Sasahara also appear, actually changed to take pictures. His hands made a T when he turned to Mion. She took it as a time-out. He nodded as she sighed.
"If we go in, this game might not turn out well Mion…"
"I don't back down from a challenge. I'm Takamine Mion after all."
"You mean you want to actually dress up as a character and get your picture taken?"
"I don't mean that! It's not like I like cosplaying or anything!"
"That faces says otherwise Mion."
"Is Wataru that cowardly that he won't take the challenge? With all of them in there, it will considerably harder to address each other as Wataru kun or Takamine Chan-"
"Oh? Then I'll take you up on that. How about I change from Takamine Chan to Mion Chan?" She crossed her arms as she said no.
"Because you'll use it to annoy me." He laughed.
"Then this game I proposed isn't annoying you?" She realized what she just said. She commanded that they go in, to which he playfully said yes to. Kiri and Rizumu rushed to Mion while Jiro rushed to Wataru.
"Don't worry Mion. Ome gave us a call already, saying that we should play along with your gokon game."
"We're not playing along for the fun of it ok?" Jiro was grinning.
"Who knew Sasahara kun had a fetish for cosplaying? More like what's with you and fighting costumes? You suit them too much!" Wataru grinned at Sasahara in a samurai outfit.
"Why are you ignoring me? Wataru tan!"
"Be quiet. I don't like cosplaying."
"But he got riled up when Rizumu Chan-" His intimidating glare stopped Jiro.
"So simple… Even when Hibiki's not here, he is protective of Rizumu Chan…" Before the two got a chance to look around, they got dragged in, which left the other four waiting to get their pictures taken. And that's when Rie and Hibiki also came in.
"Rizumu! Why-"
"Rie, Hibiki… Yo…" Rie just smiled.
"Let's go Hibiki!"
"This way, Hibiki sama, Rie sama." He dropped a small trinket in her hand as he passed by. It was a small brown bear covered in a pink suit with a candy wrapper ribbon on one of its ears and a box in its hand. As she popped open the lid of the light colored box, a Prism Stone was staring at her. A special blue hem laced two piece knit dress with white tights was encased in the blue Prism Stone. The medium length part of the dress was celeste while the bottom was gray colored. The black boots went up to a little below the knees. While Rizumu thought it was cute and ecstatic that Hibiki chose this method to give it to her, she felt that something was missing. It wasn't sincere feelings because she could feel how sincere Hibiki was by attaching a cute bear with it, more like it was like an accessory to the outfit. But she pushed it to the back of her head because she really was happy. Even though she had left them alone, he still came and gave her a present. Jiro and Kiri were having fun laughing at a scowling Sasahara.
"Just top that if you're so angry~" Kiri said in a mocking tone.
"Kazuya, you funny dog~"
"Wataru's here so Mion's here too?" Rie wondered as she saw Wataru standing by the lady picking out an outfit.
"Mion sama? Do you need any help? You've taken a long time-"
"N-No!" Rie and Hibiki just watched a Wataru walk in front of the dressing stall with a soft smile.
"Nothing will come out to get you Mi-Takamine Chan. I'll be standing here until you come out so don't worry."
"I wasn't! Mou! I'm not even going to bother to talk to you!"
"Eh?~ Why not?" Her mood improved as Wataru waited.
"Mah~ Wataru has grown up~"
"H-Hibiki… Why are you here?!" He whispered.
"Of course because my date wants to take a commemorative picture. But to think that Wataru would be able to do such a feat…"
"Stop making fun of me Hibiki!"
"As a reward for your work, here." Wataru stared at what he gave him.
"And it's not even a reward for me… Then again-"
"On second thought, you go get dressed too Wataru! Don't you dare make me wait so long!"
"Whatever you say, Takamine Chan!" The other two went to get dressed too.
"Wow. Hibiki's on a totally different level than you Jiro. More like why are you trying to cosplay a younger boy?" Rizumu compared the prince in white and gold with the boy trying to cosplay Echizen Ryoma.
"It's fun that way!" The second Rie neared the corner. She was showered with compliments by Rizumu and Kiri. She was wearing a strapless and bright yellow princess/prom dress. The front part of her hair was pushed to the front.
"Thanks Rizumu, Kiri. You aren't going to try anything on Rizumu?"
"Since I got dressed, you have to too Rizumu!" Kiri was wearing a red kimono with beautiful pink blossoms as the design. Rizumu didn't have to answer because the group was preoccupied with what Kiri dressed up as.
"Hm? A hostess?" Rizumu and Rie were thinking the exact same thing.
"No! I just wanted to try on a kimono!"
"We were just joking~"
"Hey! Kazuya looks good in this outfit! You look truly dashing!" Already talking about compliments, Rizumu grinned at Kazuya who was turning away, embarrassed. Rie didn't understand why Hibiki just suddenly let out a relieved sigh.
"Truly the moon and the soft-shelled turtle." Mion came out with a off the shoulder lilac aristocrat gown. There was a rose choker around her neck.
"M-Mion Chan! What's with that outfit?!"
"I'm apparently an ojou-sama. Got a problem with it?" Then he turned away embarrassed.
"In fact it fits you too perfectly…"
"Mion, did you put make-up on?"
"They put on very little mascara and some lip gloss."
"Huh? They made me put on red lipstick instead-"
"I can totally see why~" Mion teased.
"Wait, wait, if Mion's an ojou-sama, then Wataru's going to be…" Hibiki laughed as the guy came walking toward them as he was fixing his necktie. Kiri blushed because she was the first to notice his appearance. The second she turned around, Wataru took her hand in his and kneeled down.
"Sorry for the wait, ojou-sama." Rie and Rizumu face-palmed as they should've expected it.
"As expected of Prince! You look great in black!"
"You think?" His gloved hand ruffled his hair as he blushed. When Mion took a closer look at him, she had to admit that he did look… well acceptable.
"Those tails on the butler outfit suit you Wataru~"
"The oneesan said the same thing. Something like 'Wataru sama fits the image of an active butler that is always running or jumping'-" As a response to hearing that the photographer was ready to take pictures, Rie pulled Hibiki into the camera's view. They smiled at each other as their pose.
"Rizumu, why are you- no, why don't you try something on too?"
"There's no meaning in it… And I'm just not suited for these things." The manager approached Rizumu.
"This should suffice. What do you think Rizumu sama?" She smiled at her reflection in the hand-held mirror, with a candy clip clipped in the middle of her bangs.
"This is not bad too…" Hibiki looked over and the tiniest amount of blush appeared.
"Nice expression Hibiki kun!" The cameraman saw where he was gazing afterward and took a picture of Rizumu, from the side view.
"Don't take a picture of me!" She suddenly got embarrassed as Mion smiled at her. He was surprised at her happy smile and went along with her request to be next, not understanding Mion. Getting a thank you as her reply to his asking why she was in a good mood, made him surprised. Wataru's upper cheeks reddened.
"You know that you've done many things that deserve a thanks too right Takamine Chan? And the date's not over. I won't let it end here." He extended his hand. She took it. He heard a soft yes escape her mouth.
"Now for the next pose! Wataru kun, kneel down and kiss Mion Chan's hand!"
"Eek! Why?!"
"Butlers do that all the time! Go go!" Jiro was not helping the situation. Wataru's unwavering eyes made Mion flustered as she closed her eyes when the shot was taken.
"And now the photo-shoot is done! Because you're all with or are an idol, it's free of charge."
"W-Where should we go next?" Hibiki turned to Rie.
"On second thought, it doesn't feel right if it isn't a group date…"
"Of course our game won't be ending here right?"
"Of course. You're on, Wataru."
"Let's see who trips up first, Mion Chan."
"Don't call me that!"
"Why not Mion? It sounds cute!" Rizumu intervened.
"Simply because it sounds cute. I'm not cute."
"Of course you are!" Kiri linked arms with her.
"You have to be for Prince to make that expression… But of course I won't lose to Mion! But that's another day…"
"We all really ended up at this ice rink didn't we…?" Kiri looked at the twelve of them all gathered backstage. Kyoko and Jun came too.
"Let's do Jan-Ken-Pon to decide who gets the spotlight today!" The girls all gathered in a circle and put out their hands. Rock beat scissors and therefore Rizumu was the winner.
"How about all six of you girls perform together? It's been such a fun day anyway." Hibiki suggested. Only thing was, the premiun Prism Stones for KIYUMI were not ready. They didn't care and were happy to just go in their regular performing outfits.
With that settled, Shou and Wataru approached Aira and Mion to give them their stones. Just his smile gave Aira confidence. Dropping the Prism Stone in her hands, Shou whispered that he'd always be Aira's support. Her Prism Stone was pink with a hem laced and layered knit dress. The theme colors of gray and pink was a set with Rizumu's. There were white polka dot tights and black boots to go along with her individual outfit.
"Kora, don't say that like we're parting or something. That will never happen alright?" Those words made Aira feel happy. She couldn't find any words to say so all she did was smile. And that was all it took to make Shou flustered. Mion looked into the purple Prism Stone and saw a black and gray two piece and hem laced and layered knit dress that matched Aira and Rizumu's. The black books also matched. In Mion's case, she got diamond patterned tights. Hibiki walked in front of Rizumu with a smile on his face and his hands behind his back. Wataru, Shou and Hibiki (in that order) pressed another Prism Stone on the lips of the girl they were in front of.
"Wha-!" The other six just found something to protest about.
"The hat is definitely needed in that outfit~" Hibiki said as Rie and Kazuya dragged him away from Rizumu.
"You thought something was missing right Aira?" Seiji dragged him away as well.
"We made them with your images in mind."
"Wataru tan! You can't do that so suddenly!"
"Prince!" They dragged him away just like Hibiki and Shou's situation. MARs ran to the dressing room with KIYUMI running after them.
"Idiots… What was that 'And last up…'?!"
"Mah mah Shachou…"
"Eheh… It was the best thing we could come up with…"
"True idiots…" Kyoko was even more unimpressed that they started blushing after doing something so "idiotic". Wataru's phone lit up as he got text message.
" *Grin* After doing something so idiotic, don't go thinking that this is the end to the dates~ More fun things come up~ That being said, get embarrassed by the next set of events Callings!~ Go go!"
"Di-Did she purposely send me the message to make fun of me?" *He's referring to Go Go Callings!* Wataru was shaking with anger, well anger and some embarrassment because Ome knew what just happened. Callings all read the message by the time the girls came out.
"Shou san?" He fell down when Aira seriously scared him by bringing her head down to his to find out why he's looking down at the floor.
"Are you going to flip out like-" Hibiki did the same as he seriously looked frightened when he saw Rizumu next to him. Watary heard Mion call his name with the –kun honorifics. He turned around to see Mion kneeling to his eye level.
"Woah… This president is just scary…" Jiro stayed away from Kyoko calculating all the money she could earn once MARs advertises it.
"You look nice Takamine Chan." He instinctively reached to touch her cheek but she turned away. Aira and Rizumu also turned away before that same situation would happen to them. Simply seeing an entire line of blush on all of their faces caused Callings to do the same. KIYUMI blushed, seeing their crushes going totally red. And Jiro, Kazuya and Seiji followed in suit when they caught sight of MARs's expressions.
"Damn Ome… You planned this didn't you?" Callings thought to themselves. Jun and Kyoko couldn't comprehend how all twelve kids turned red in less than a minute.
"This is irritating! Girls, it's been decided beforehand that the song that will be done is We Will Win."
"Before that," Aira walked over to Shou. "Thank you for this happy-lucky coordination Shou san!" To hide his embarrasssment, he stared at the blue and white fedora on her head.
"Did that lighten your mood?" Rizumu went red when Hibiki brought his head close to hers from behind.
"Of course not!"
"Go out and fun. That's the most important Rizumu." She smiled.
"Thank you Hibiki! Kokoro Juuden!"
"The game is not over so don't you dare give up before Mion gets back!"
"W-Wait for us! And the Batopons! MARs!"
"Go Rie!" Jiro shouted. Seiji grabbed Mii's arm.
"Are you feeling jealous?"
"Not really~" She turned and skated after MARs, leaving him with a smile.
"Hurry up and go."
"I know! You're so rude!"
"Minna! We're MARs and KIYUMI! Please listen, We Will Win!"
Say Go! (Say Go!) Say Fight! (Say Fight!)
We Will, We Will, Win! Win! Win!
Say Go! (Say Go!) Say Fight! (Say Fight!)
Namida no KAKERA Hiroi atsumete
Yume no tsuzuki Tsunagi awaseyou- MARs threw their respective Batopons up as Aira caught Rizumu's, Mion caught Aira's and Rizumu caught Mion's. They all jumped at the same time, performing DoReMiFa Slider, with even more radiance than before.
PINCHI no kazu dake CHANSU ga aru to(Go! Go! Let's Go!)
Atsuku inochi Kagayaki hajimeru
(Do It! Do It! We Can Do It!)
"KIYUMI go!" KIYUMI followed right and threw their green, red and yellow Batopons in the air as well. Just like their counterparts, Mii caught Rie's, Kiri caught Mii's and Rie caught Kiri's.
"Sequel to DoReMiFa!"
"Huh?!" MARs stared in disbelief. The three skated higher and higher and continued the tune with SoLaTiDo Slider. MARs smiled.
"They sure got us." Their hair blew in the wind as they looked up at their friends.
"Are you guys blushing?"
"No! It's just cold!"
"Why'd all of you answer?" Kyoko gave them a suspicious look. Jun peered out to see MARs giving smiles to KIYUMI while their hair blew in the wind.
"It's simple Shachou-"
"It's not like that!"
KOKORO no BATON wo Tsunagereba Nani ka ga kitto kawaru hazu
Mo gyuuto Gyutto Nigitte Motto
Yume ga kanau PO PON NO PO~N
Aira and Mii skated in opposite directions. At the same time, sparkles surrounded their figures as they peformed Fluttering Petals of Love-Duo. One side was occupied by pink flowers and the other engulfed in light green flowers to show Mii's theme color. As they landed in the flower petals both of them winked as they held hands. Aira, Mii, Mion and Kiri gave way to Rie and Rizumu that held hands as they both skated to the middle.
KOKORO no BATON ga Tsunagereba WAKU WAKU, DOKI DOKI utaimasu
Boku tachi no kizuna ga Asu no kiseki umu hazu sa
They jumped in opposite directions before successfully pulling off a duo remake version of Stardust Shower. Rizumu rode on the meteors on the right while Rie rode on the left side. The second they landed on the ground, they skated and switched sides which made Rizumu on the left side and Rie on the right side when they winked in synchronicity. The second the Prism Jump was over, Kiri and Mion jumped as well. The pair peformed Honey Kiss Duo with Mion on the left side and Kiri on the right side. And this remake ended with both Kiri and Mion appealing to the fans with another wink to add to the kiss marks.
Say Go! (Say Go!) Say Fight! (Say Fight!)
We Will, We Will, Win! Win! Win!
Say Go! (Say Go!) Say Fight! (Say Fight!)
"Wow! 5 Prism Jumps in one show! This will be big!"
"They sure are amazing…" The eight watching from backstaged were all surprised when they saw the rink light up with even more noticeable radiance as the six girls were ready to do another Prism Jump.
"I-It can't be…" Shou started.
"They're all going to jump?!" Hibiki finished.
"Can all six of them really do one Prism Jump together?" Wataru said with a bit of worry in his voice. (Please keep in mind that at this time Prism Arcs did not exist so 6 people doing one Prism Jump hasn't been accomplished yet.)
"T-This sounds kind of risky…" Jun reassured Kyoko that they'll be ok.
"Why exactly are we worrying?" Callings just let out sighs as they shook their heads.
"Why aren't you senpais worrying?" Jiro asked.
"Because, with MARs, anything can be possible." Hibiki replied. Seiji stared at the smiling and anticipating Shou.
"That confidence he has in Aira Chan… Is that because he's been with her longer than I have or because he actually likes her…?" In a way, Seiji felt inferior because he couldn't believe in Aira's abilities like Shou could easily do. All six of them jumped together. Suddenly the scenery changed and everything had become like a beautiful day in spring where the clouds were out and the flowers were dancing in the light breeze. Large, but very beautiful bubbles appeared as the six girls were riding on them, as if taking them as the ride to the sky. MARs grabbed KIYUMI's hands simultaneously.
"Sky's the limit!" Rizumu shouted.
"Fly(Habatake)!" Mion followed up.
"Wings of eternal friendship!" MARs shouted as if they wanted everyone to hear. A happy scene of the girls linking arms made everyone happy before the Prism Jump faded.
"And you guys are cold again?" Kyoko looked at the teenage boys with an annoyed look on her face. The second the guys saw MARs and KIYUMI emitting even more sparkles when they smiled, they turned red again. Rie looked at the orange haired idol full of happiness and shining even more brightly than she was, with a satisfied smile.
"With this, my mock date with Hibiki ends." She whispered to Rizumu before she left the stage. Rizumu looked worried when she dragged off Hibiki. Mion rushed away to change before she went home.
"Have fun with Shou san, Mii Chan!" She dashed backstage to be stopped by Shou.
"Good job Aira."
"T-Thank you Shou san… L-Let's go Seiji kun! You said we'd go-"
"I'll meet you outside Aira Chan." He purposely cut her off to annoy Shou since he wouldn't know where they would be going.
"Let's follow them Shou san." Mii appeared behind him with a mischievious smile.
"What are you guys doing? Wait… You guys aren't on dates are you?!"
"W-We're on mock dates!"
"For what reason?! I won't tolerate this!" All the teenagers ran off.
"It's been such a weird day… Yet why do I not feel relieved to be alone? More like should I really be alone around this time?" She wasn't in the mood to think of irritating things but she couldn't help but think about her situation. With a scowl on her face, Mion ran into Wataru, who was looking for her.
"This is why I really shouldn't have gone home alone!" Mion's face was buried in his chest.
"You're right. Thank goodness I found you."
"Wataru kun, I thought our date was over, what are you doing?"
"I'm hugging you. At least give me this as a reward for actually finding you before anything happened to you Mi-Takamine Chan." Mion thought back to how he really did escort her pretty well today.
"Fine then. There's a park nearby. Do you want to go there?"
"Oh? Takamine Chan is actually willing to have a talk with a boy, near the swings and on a cold winter night?"
"It's my obligation for the mock date, today." They walked a block down to the park and headed toward the swings.
"So what'd you think of the date today Mion?"
"It was fun and heart-throbbing!" She said with sparkles around her face.
"I need to work harder don't I?" He knew her well enough to take that as a so-so in Mion's book. The conversation just took a turn when Mion asked about Kiri's whereabouts. She frowned when Wataru replied that she helped him to find her when she purposely went on ahead.
"Well either way, I would've still went after you Mion."
"What, am I not allowed to support Kiri?"
"Yeah, that's about right." She stared at him leaning on the swings pole. His stoic face made her a bit worried about what she just said.
"Why do I have to listen to what Wataru says?"
"Because I was seriously worried about you. Listen to me just this once will you Mion?"
"I don't want to. Even if we went on a 'date', why does that have to mean that I have to listen to Wataru of all people?"
"I guess you're right. How about I take you home now Mion?" She followed him silently. That relieved smile of his bothered her but Mion was reluctant to ask him for the reason behind it.
"Mou! Just come out and tell me why you're smiling! It's irritating me!"
"No way Mion. Speaking of which, because you went home earlier, I slipped and called you Mion. Who loses this game?"
"Of couse you lose. You're the one that called me Mion first. What? You still want to end this date with calling each other Takamine Chan and Wataru kun?"
"Why not try that out?"
"I'm not interested."
"Then I'll end the date with a cool phrase."
"Suit yourself."
"Wait wait, you need to turn this way Mion." In unison, they stepped forward while facing each other. "Takamine Chan, I for one had fun today. When I become a better escort, how about we meet up again someday? Whatever your answer is, I'll always remember today~ Good night Takamine Chan!" She grabbed his sleeve.
"We're not going to see each other for a while? When's someday Wataru?" Everything got confusing for him when he heard the way she addressed him.
"You have other people for support. Maybe in 10 years when I'm suitable to be your-" He saw tears dripping down her eyes. She muttered words that had to do with Jun. He panicked. Wataru tried to reassure her that he didn't mean it that way but nothing was getting through to her. He grabbed her arms into a light embrace.
"Why are you always like this…?" He caressed her head.
"Sorry, I went too far with that line. I won't leave Mion alone as long as you don't want me to." He continued to stroke her hair as she obediently stood there, letting herself be comforted.
"Where are we going Kazuya?!" Rizumu was getting dragged by him. He, himself, didn't understand why he was heading in the same direction Rie dragged Hibiki in. But because of the big crowd, Kazuya and Rizumu were separated when she tripped over the curb. She was going forward and Kazuya had no way of reaching her.
"Amamiya!"
"Someone stop me!" And the flirt she knew so well came and stopped her before she got to the busy street by wrapping his arm around her shoulder/neck area.
"Safe! And now… Come with me, Rizumu." A rare, stoic yet a bit angry expression was on his face as he held her hand and dragged her out of the throng, to a less crowded area that would lead to her family apartment. Rizumu was resisting the urge to ask a mountain of questions. Then again, it even made logical sense to her that if he came rushing to find her, he wouldn't want to talk about his other affairs. Then someone she totally forgot popped in her mind.
"Ah! Kazuya!" Hibiki frowned the second he heard the way she addressed the guy that had almost caused her to get seriously injured.
"Give me a serious answer Rizumu." He gently pinned her to the fence of the nearby park. "Why are you thinking of Sasahara kun when he almost got you gravely injured from carelessly losing you in the crowd?"
"Y-You were watching?"
"That's beside the point. Answer me."
"Do I really have to answer? It's none of your business Hibiki. Just like it's not my business what you and Rie did today."
"But I want to know what's your relationship with Sasahara kun."
"But you don't need to know right? Let's just drop this topic Hibiki. What's between Kazuya and me has nothing to do with you and what's between Rie and Hibiki isn't something I should get in the way of."
" "Kazuya and me', I don't like that." He leaned closer. She grabbed his sleeve as she closed her eyes in fear of who this unknown Hibiki was.
"Hibiki…"
"I didn't even get half-way… You sure are relentless Rizumu." He let out a sigh as he leaned back.
"Why are you here Hibiki? I thought you and Rie-"
"Again with that Rizumu? It was a mock date and Rie ended it. You are not getting in the way of the date. Rie said so herself. So stop thinking that this is your fault ok-"
"But I can't get in the way of Rie's love for the second time! Don't you understand how much you shouldn't just leave Rie lone?! She likes you!"
"I don't understand! Can't you think of my feelings too Rizumu?! What if I don't want to spend all my time with Rie?!"
"But I can't-" Her voice was getting louder as drops of tears fell from her face. He went over and grabbed her hands. He tried to soothe her tantrum without having to raise his voice to no avail.
"Get a grip Rizumu! I don't care if you don't want to get in the way of Rie's love! I want to be around you! Don't make me repeat this so many times!" His façade blew over as he started shouting about how just being around her is not something that Rie would feel sad about. It was true. Rie had finally stopped holding a grudge against Rizumu. It was just that Rizumu never realized, which led to this outburst. When the rhythm of her breaths slowed down, Hibiki decreased his grip on her joints.
"I really do hear this all the time don't I?" More tears dripped down her narrowed eyes. He let out an exasperated sigh as he tried to figure out what to do for her. "Rie won't hate me for being around you?" His eyes enlarged. He took her cheeks in his hands.
"No, she won't hate you. Trust me on this Rizumu."
"You really promise?"
"Yes. Believe in me, Rizumu." Pink tints appeared on her cheeks when she finally grasped that she was putting trust in a serious Hibiki that was holding her cheeks up to his face, in a pretty much isolated place (in other words, they're A-L-O-N-E~).
Hibiki: You wrote that to annoy didn't you?!
Ome: No no, this time it was Steve's idea. Apparently having dashes between those letters makes them stand out and therefore when readers read it, it catches their eye~ How about I put them in bold too?
Steve: This isn't the first time that you guys were left alone now is it?
Hibiki: That's not here or there. What would you do if you and Ome were alone and it got broadcasted everywhere?
Ome: That ain't happening~ *Runs off*
Boys: Don't leave two guys here!
Steve: This is starting to sound… Just ew.
Hibiki: You started this!
Wataru: Let's just switch over to Seiji and Aira Chan's Arc, shall we?
Hibiki and Steve: Don't come here Wataru! There's already too many men here!
Steve: At least make this a harem!
Ome: All readers that would like to slap him, go ahead~ Now for real: Adams and Aira's scene!
Staring at the cold but glittering lake were the two teenagers out on a mock date. Amazed by the beauty of the water, Aira had nothing to say. More like there was nothing she wanted to do but continue to stare at the beautful scenery before her. And Adams, being the gentleman, of course, just watches her.
Seiji: *popping vein* You just did that to make me angry didn't you?!
"Adams~ You're totally going to do a playboy thing soon aren't you?" When he saw sight of Aira putting her hands together and making a wish, suddenly his feelings took over his common sense. While Aira was busy making a wish to be happy with everyone after hearing from her mother that her hopes may be answered if she did it when the lake was glittering, Seiji leaned closer to her.
"What an impure motive Adams."
"What are we doing here anyway?"
"If Shou was here, he would jump in. We can't have him disturbing such an entertaning date now can we?"
"Be more obedient about other things, will you?" She declined as she changed the subject to how they were going to get in the way of that. Steve's only suggestion was to call Aira's phone. Ome took that suggestion because she had been meaning to ask Adams a question that he shouldn't flip out about. Aira's phone rung with "Hop, Step, Jump!" as the ringtone. Before his mouth touched her cheek or possibly her lips, Seiji pulled back when Aira stared at him with confusion.
"Aira Chan, who-" Listening to the song made her happy so Aira technically ignored the call. The two, who climbed on the nearest tree, gapped when the call went to voicemail.
"Fine I'll call Seiji!"
"Wouldn't that have been the better idea from the beginning?"
"Yo Seiji. You were about to do something interesting weren't you?" He looked up and saw them, sitting on the branch. He covered his eyes as a play on a face-palm.
"Don't you find invading someone's privacy a problem?"
"Privacy? Don't you see people walking by?" Ome grabbed the phone as Adams braced himself for whatever she was going to say. Because he was a playboy, Ome thought that his answer would be a calm yes.
"Oi Adams, question. When a girl closes her eyes, is it that much of an ambiguous hint?"
"Of course not!" He yelled as if everyone around them heard the question. Ome whistled at how he did end up flipping out.
"Adams, you lacked willpower?"
"I don't want to hear that from a little girl that can't finish horror movies!" That struck a nerve as her mouth was forcing a smile while figurative fire surrounded her entire body. Steve tried to reason that they had come to watch over the date, not to ruin it. Of course, she was in no mood to listen.
"What about you?! When a girl closes her eyes, you think she's giving you a hint to make out with her! You damn playboy!" She shouted to which even oblivious Aira heard it. The guy freaked out trying to explain this to Aira. She inched away realizing how she was about to get kissed because she wasn't paying attention.
"I know I fool around with girls all the time b-but…" Turning his head away made it look like he had even more ulterior motives. Basically he was digging deeper into his grave. She stared at his anxious persona with sympathy. She reached and grabbed his hand.
"Let's promise that you'll try not to kiss every girl whose eyes are closed, ok?" He wanted to fall down and never wake up because she really believed that he would do that to any girl. Well maybe his eyes wouldn't be closed so earnestly but it's safe to say that he WILL do domething along those lines. But sincerity in her eyes caused him to really promise her by doing a pinky-promise. While Steve inquired on why they suddenly went back to normal, Ome clicked her tongue.
~Be aware of what can happen if you close your eyes when you're near a beast~ At max, close your eyes for 3 seconds~
Steve: So why is it that today's advice actually sounds like advice?
Ome: *grinning* Why else?
Steve: You must be really angry about what Seiji said…
Ome: You're damn right I am.
Steve: Give it 10 minutes and that grudge will be gone, readers. *sighs*
Kiri: Ome! Do you want to go out to eat a parfait?
Ome: I'll go!
Steve: Should I have said 10 seconds? *girls leave* Wait! Don't leave me here! It's lonely!
