So, two chapters today…Because they're both so short. I have the next chapter, but I like the ending of this chapter too much to make it just the end of a paragraph.
Ava arrived at the docks only minutes after Dr Blowhole disappeared into the water.
"Um…Hello? Guys? Is anyone here?" Ava looked around. "Helloooooo?"
It was silent.
"That's….it did say the docks…" she walked forward. "Hmm…" she walked forward. She knelt down besides four penguin marks on the ground. "These marks. Unless they all decided to sunbathe, they must have been…knocked out." She frowned, and sniffed the air. "Knock out gas," she told herself. She sighed. "My stay seems to be extended."
