It's been several weeks Since the battle and Chisa still hasn't woken up. Lavi stays by her side the entire time not eating, or getting any sleep at all. Which worries the others as Lenalee comes in with a tray of coffee.
"How is he?" she asked worried.
"Still the same since we got here" Jade replies.
"He hasn't gotten anything to eat or any sleep at all" Allen says worried
"I can always knock him out. That way he can get some sleep"Kanda mumbles.
"Kanda!" both Allen and Lenalee says.
"What it was just a suggestion" he mumbles as Jade walks over to Lavi, puts a gentle comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Lavi you should at least get something to eat. You won't be able to help if you're exhausted" Jade says softly.
"No I want to be here when she wakes up" Lavi says
"Lavi, go and eat something. Take you golem with you that way if she does wake up we'll let you know" Jade says softly
"Fine, Allen can you come with me to the cafeteria?" Lavi asked.
"Sure" Allen smiles.
Lavi gets up and walks with Allen to the cafeteria. What he didn't notice due to exhaustion and a lack of not eating was a small cross stigma on Chisa's forehead that was being slightly covered from her bangs.
Lavi's pov:
As we walked to the cafeteria my stomach started growl louder and louder. I looked at Allen wanting to ask something but not sure if I should ask.
"See you are hungry Lavi. It's a good thing Jade made you go get something to eat" Allen smiles.
"Yeah," I said as I look at him for a moment, thinking. "Hey Allen?"
"Yeah Lavi?" Allen asked.
"How can you tell if you really like someone?" I asked nervously.
"Why are you asking me that? I have no clue at all" Allen says looking at him.
"Well I just thought...Cross might have given you a few pointers or something"I said, Allen snorts.
"Do you really think Cross would give me a few pointers or advice on how to tell if I liked a person or not? When he's busy being a womanizer and getting woman himself?" Allen asked.
"Good point…" I sighed.
"But why do you ask?" Allen asked.
"I...I think I might like Chisa more than just a friend" I mumbled looking down.
"Hmm I can try to help, " Allen says thinking for a moment. "Do you feel happy around her?"
"Yeah I do. At first I just thought of her like a little sister then along the way I found her to be really pretty and cute but determined and strong"I replied.
"Hmm okay, Does she mean the world to you...or um Do you feel the need to protect her?" Allen asked.
"Yeah. I was really worried about her when you guys were on that mission and now I wish I was there to help. Maybe this wouldn't have happen if I could have gone on that mission too"I said clenching his fist.
"Lavi..don't beat yourself up over this. It wasn't your fault that this happened..it was no one's fault either. We all did what we could to protect each other against the Akuma's...there was level three's. I don't know what else happened I think I passed out during the fight...but you could ask Jade she might able to tell you what happened" Allen replied.
"Thanks Allen...Now I have to wait a little longer to tell Chisa what I wanted to tell her" I sighed as we opened the door.
"What did you want to tell her?" Allen asked, I shake my head and smile a little.
"I can wait. I'll just focus on taking care of Chisa until she wakes up" I replied.
Jade's pov:
I leaned against the wall looking at Chisa and trying to remember what happened before we got back to the order. There was about three level three's and two level fours but no matter how many we defeated it just seemed like more kept coming on like an endless battle of Akuma.
"What made Chisa like this" I mumbled trying to remember as I closed my eyes.
~Flash back to few weeks back~
Kanda and I fought the Akuma's in unison and Allen and Chisa also fought in unison. I could feel the immense power flowing around them as they fought. the level fours. I looked towards Kanda who I heard Yelling. "Mugen activate: Netherworld creatures!". I looked back at the Akuma in front of me and jumped up into the air then kicked the Akuma hard into the ground but jumped back as it was about to shoot me.
"That would have been bad," I grumbled landing onto the ground and reached for my bow. "I'm going to need my other innocence for this..Boots isn't going to work"
I took my bow off and let it get covered in energy which made it look like two swords almost identical to Kanda's weapon. I stood behind Kanda as we were back to back, I glanced at him.
"You think we can handle this?" I asked,Kanda snorted.
"I won't get defeated by a pathetic level three Akuma. But I don't know about you, are you going to survive?" Kanda says gripping his sword hilt tighter.
"Same here. I won't lose to an Akuma" I grin.
We charged at the two Akuma's together not letting them get a chance to attack as we switched back and forth between both Akuma's to confuse them.
"You know we make a pretty good team" I smirked.
"Don't distract me shorty" Kanda says but at the corner of his mouth was a small smile.
"Hey! I'm not short..I'm the same height as you Kitty Kanda" I growled but smiled.
We get the Akuma's backed into a corner as Kanda finished one-off by slicing it half and I do the same with the last one. Suddenly I heard a loud thump and look over seeing Allen just hit a hill but is also covered in gashes and cuts.
"That doesn't look too good" I said worried.
"Don't you dare die on us bean sprout!" Kanda yelled over to Allen as I saw Chisa hit the hill and land next to Allen.
"This isn't going well..,"Allen says and looks up at Kanda. "It's Allen baKanda!"
"Now isn't the time to be arguing you idiots!" I shouted, smacked Kanda in the back of the head as I saw the Akuma fly over to Chisa and Allen.
The Akuma is about to stab Chisa but her cloak covers her like armor as she jumps backwards and stabs the Akuma right through the chest, I heard her growl. "Die pitiful Akuma" before it turned to dust. Suddenly I heard another thump but it was closer to me and when I looked over I saw Kanda collapsed by the tree.
"Must be exhausted…"I shrugged.
Another Akuma is about to beat up Allen who is unconscious now. I heard Chisa growl again and charge at full speed toward the Akuma as she stabs it right through the chest as well.
"Leave him alone!"she growls.
I go over to Chisa and look at her as more Akuma show up and surround us, one laughs.
"Shit...they just keep coming," I said and looked at Chisa, saw that her pupils were slit like a cats when they're angry. "Kid hold onto something"
Chisa nods as I activated my innocence and the silver like material that usually covers my legs fully wrap around my entire body. I lifted up my arms as Air starts swirling around me soon creating a tornado. I closed my eyes as I felt my body move in circles getting closer to the enemy as one Akuma gets sucked into the tornado's vortex then explodes one after another. Soon the last Akuma gets sucked into the vortex and just as the Akuma explodes a bright flash of light made my eyes open and the tornado disappears and I land on the ground feet first but then fall my to knees.
"Jade!" Chisa yells as I looked up towards but felt a presence coming towards, I look back to see an Akuma about to stab me but Chisa suddenly gets in front of me, gets stabbed instead.
"Chisa…." I say shocked trying to force myself to stay awake.
"You pathetic Akuma must die. putting others in pain" Chisa growls then my vision went black.
~End of Flash black~
I opened my eyes and looked at Chisa worried and shocked, wondering if what she heard was really Chisa before she blacked out.
"So that's what happened.." I mumbled confused.
Chisa's pov:
I opened my eyes only seeing darkness and a dim light in front of me. I could see the outline of a shadow but I had no idea who it was.
"Jade-san is that you?" I asked.
"Wow, I can't believe you were able to beat me" a mature sounding voice said.
"W-what...I..I don't understand" I say confused.
"Let's plays come on please?" a childlike voice said giggling happily.
Who was that voice..I don't recognize that voice...or the voice before...but it does kind of sound familiar. Why is it so dark though?
"Thank you for the delicious candy and sweets you got me the other day" a rough sounding voice said.
"Come on lets a play game" one voice begged.
"You better not cheat this time!" another voice laughed.
"He really favors you" a quiet mature voice says.
"We have to leave...I don't like what he's planning," another voice said seriously. "Yeah I know I don't want to have to leave the others either but we have no choice. And I know you don't like what he's up to either"
Who was that last voice? Who was he talking to..about someone planning something? Maybe the Earl? I'm so confused.
"Hello? Who's there...can someone tell me what's going on?," I asked confused as a the voice I heard just a minute ago start talking at the same time and I hold my head."I can't understand you…"
"Don't reject them" a deadly calm voice says softly but was louder than the other voices.
"Don't reject what?" I asked confused
"Don't reject the memories..you mustn't reject them..you have to remember" the voice replies.
"Remember...my memories?," I asked as the loud ringing noise comes back. "I...I can't..concentrate..this noise..it hurts"
"You must remember..fight it and remember. You have to" the voice says as the ringing noise starts to die down, suddenly a see an image of a man who looks like Tyki.
"T-Tyki?" I asked.
"I hope we don't have to fight each other….," Tyki says sadly. "Maybe I'll find another poker partner someday"
"We played poker?," I asked confused as another image flashed in my head and this time its a little girl. "Road?"
"Please don't leave us!..Who am I going to play with?!" Road cries.
"What are these memories..I don't understand," I say more confused as another imaged of a tall muscled guy flashed in my head. "S-Skin?"
"I'm going to miss you. you were really sweet!"Skin cries as another image of two boys flashed in my head. "David…Jasdero"
"You're starting to remember…"the voice says softly
"Who's going to play games with us..please don't leave please!" David sobs.
"Who's going to play pranks on Tyki and Skin?" Jasdero sobs too.
"Please tell me what's going on?!," I scream confused as an image of a small black cat flashed through my head, it looked up at me before one last image of a man similar to Tyki flashes through my head. "Lulubell...wait..who's that?"
"Come on lets go..we can't let the Earl catch us!" the man says as a battle scene flashed through my head and the scene I remembered when I first joined the order where a girl was lying in a hospital bed. "I'm so sorry..this is all my fault..I brought you with me...and you were hurt really badly. the least I could do is make it so you don't remember that way the Earl can't find you and you'll have new friends, family and be happy"
"Mr. Walker you have to leave now..visiting hours are over" a nurse says as the man finishes wiping the girls memory away.
"Please take care of my friend," he says sadly and looks at the girl. "Maybe...we'll meet again"
"We will take care of her I promise"a nurse says as the man leaves, the nurse closes the door.
"Walker?...is..is that Allen? No it can't be he doesn't look like Allen" I say confused.
"Your slowly starting to remember. That's good" the voice says.
"Who are you..please..tell me I'm confused" I say as the lights turn on and I see a mature looking woman with tan skin, cross stigmas going across her forehead, Dark brown hair with a few silver strands that's being tied in a loose ponytail.
"My name is Mia" the woman responds
"Mia...why are you showing me this?" I asked.
"Because...I am your Noah" Mia spoke softly as I open my eyes and sees everyone sitting next to me looking all worried.
