~*~*~*~...~*~*~*~

"She's married to someone else."

"I don't believe you."

Jun Pyo laughed, a short barking laugh devoid of any real humor. "I don't care."

Jae Kyung searched his face for any hint that he was kidding, but saw nothing to indicate he was less than serious. "Geum Jan Di married someone else," she repeated the words, trying make it sound right in her mind, but couldn't.

"I don't understand."

"I don't care.'
At his repeated use of the phrase, Jae Kyung narrowed her eyes at him. "Who is she married to? Do I know him?" She asked the question though she suspected she already knew the answer.

"Yoon Ji Hoo."

When she heard the answer and her suspicions were confirmed she was startled at the severity of her anger. She had given up on Jun Pyo and now it turned out it was for nothing. She bit back the curse that was on the tip of her tongue, "This cannot be happening."

"What?"

"Jan Di… our wedding didn't happen because of her and now she is married to someone else. Not just any someone, Ji Hoo! She married Ji Hoo."

Jun Pyo was about to comment on her severe overreaction to the news when he remembered that his mother had a camera in his office and decided this would be a good opportunity for him to make the witch think he was buying the pile of lies she was trying to get him to believe. He casually looked down and deliberately gave the impression that he was unaffected by the words "They were seeing each other in secret for quite a while. For about a year, I think."

Ha Jae Kyung saw red, "You mean the whole time we were planning our wedding and Jan Di was constantly on the wings of our relationship she was seeing Ji Hoo?"

Jun Pyo was feeling slightly uneasy about his words, now that he saw how they affected her but it was too late to take it back. Slowly he replied, "Yes, I'm not really sure on the timeline but apparently it's been going on for some time."

"That... that... argh! I felt so horrible because I was marrying you and she looked so heartbroken about it…" Jae Kyung settled down and reached over to pat Jun Pyo's hand. "I'm sorry Jun, I know this must upset you."

"I'm fine."

Jae Kyung scoffed, "If you were fine without her you wouldn't have gotten on your knees to beg me to call off the wedding. Don't try to play me."

"I'm fine," Jun Pyo repeated, and he kept his face impassive even though he was now twisted up with wonder about her assertion that he had gotten on his knees before her. It sounded like nonsense to him, groveling to anyone was not something Goo Jun Pyo did.

Jae Kyung studied him and through the red haze of anger she could see that while he looked like he was doing okay, she didn't buy it. "I don't think so Jun, I know how much you love her." Still she felt pain at the thought, even months later and she could remember how it felt giving him back to Jan Di. It wasn't something she had planned on, but finding out the President Kang had kidnapped Jan Di and was holding her hostage to get Jun Pyo to go through the wedding had been too much. If she had gone with her impulse and married him he never would have forgiven either of them.

At least that was what she thought at the time, now she was face with his calm composure and she knew she had made a mistake. She should have married him when she had the chance. At that is what I'm going to do, Jae Kyung decided. He isn't tangled up in his infatuation with Jan Di any longer and I am going to make the most of it, but first there is something I need to take care of.

"Jun!" Jae Kyung popped up and smiled brightly at him. "I'm leaving first, but I'm coming back to see you soon."

Jun Pyo's replied with a casual, "Don't bother," but Jae Kyung just let that roll off her shoulders.

She left the office quickly, losing her smile at the door. Outside the office, she spoke in a low voice to Chin, "I need you to get the jet ready. We're leaving for Korea tonight."

~*~*~*~...~*~*~*~

Ji Hoo watched Jan Di with apprehension after he spoke from the doorway. She had nodded once, gesturing that she heard him, but said little else. Watching her out of the corner of his eye he walked further into their room and greeted Jun Hee, "Noona, this is a wonderful surprise."

She looked at him with eyes filled with an apology, but answered in a similar tone, "Ji Hoo… it's good to see you again. I'm sorry for showing up unannounced."

"You know you are always welcome," Ji Hoo said reassuringly.

Jun Hee smiled ruefully when she noticed where he was looking, such pretty words but his eyes are only for one person.

"How have you been Ji Hoo? Everything is going well with school?"

"What? Oh yes, everything has been going well. How have you been? How is your husband?" Ji Hoo said, forcing his eyes off Jan Di to focus on Jun Hee. "You left so suddenly I was concerned that something was wrong."

"Just some business that couldn't wait." Jun Hee said, waving it off. "I have been very well. Actually, one of the reasons I came to Korea was to share some good news with everyone."

"Oh? What is it?"

"I'm having a baby?"

"Really?" Ji Hoo said, smile breaking beautifully over his face. "You are pregnant?"

Jun Hee nodded, "I'm almost four months now. I didn't want to tell anyone until I went past the first trimester, but I thought this was a good time."

"Congratulations Noona, you are going to be a wonderful mother."

Jun Hee nodded, but after accurately reading the room she decided it was time for her to leave. "I'm going to leave now, but Jan Di invited me to come to Yi Jung's dinner tomorrow night. We will be able to catch up more than."

"Let me walk you out," Ji Hoo offered, but when Jan Di stood up he tried to wave her back down. "Jan Di, why don't you rest? I'll see Jun Hee Noona out and be right back."

"It's fine, I've been sitting for a while now," Jan Di insisted as she stood up. They walked to the door together and after Jun Hee embraced them both goodbye, they stood looking at one another expectantly.

Ji Hoo spoke first, "did you want to ask me anything?"

"I thought we were going to tell each other the truth from now on," Jan Di said, "what happened to that?"

He was silent as he thought it over and reached out to pull her with him. "Let's go sit in the garden while we talk, it's a nice night."

Jan Di allowed Ji Hoo to pull her out with him and they sat on the stone bench peacefully, enjoying the quiet night and breezy, fragrant air.

"Well?" Jan Di asked without inflection. She wanted to be angry, but she was more hurt than anything else.

"I didn't think you had to know."

"Is that your only reason?"

Ji Hoo nodded, without elaborating.

"Why would you think that?"

"Because I knew it would hurt you to realize that Jun Pyo watched us getting married."

"How did that even happen?" Jan Di asked with genuine confusion. "I was there, obviously, and I didn't see him."

"He showed up during the ceremony. He was outside the door and watched through the window."

"When did you notice him?"

Ji Hoo thought back, "we weren't too far into the ceremony when I looked up and noticed that he was standing there. It was a surprise," he admitted.

"I bet," Jan Di said under her breath. "He didn't say anything?"

"Not that night, he stayed for the entire ceremony and then left without speaking to me. The next day he did come by our house and we talked then."

"And?" she prompted when he stayed silent.

"He thought it was best to just let marry."

"Did he?" Jan Di said, sighing a little while the familiar hurt lanced through her. "He didn't care?"

Ji Hoo shook his head, knowing what a blow this was but not able to prevent it. He waited for her to think through what she had learned or ask him any other questions she may have.

"Jan Di? Are you okay?" Ji Hoo prompted when she stayed silent longer than he expected.

She refused to be upset, convincing herself she was okay. Jan Di shrugged, "it really doesn't change anything does it? Even if he was there, he obviously didn't remember or care that I was marrying someone else. So why should I care that he was an unexpected guest?"

Ji Hoo was concerned over the defeated tone of voice she used when she spoke, but decided that since this was a night for full truths it would be best to ask her about the phone call instead of waiting and upsetting her another time.

"Jan Di…. Woo Bin told me about the phone call you had with Jun Pyo."

"Oh," she said in a small voice, "I expected him to tell you sooner."

"He thought you already told me. Why didn't you?"

Jan Di tried to laugh, "look at the pair of us… hiding things from one another to offer unnecessary protection." Jan Di leaned her head against him and tried to settle more comfortably. "I thought you would be mad at him."

"I am."

"See?" She shot up quickly and pointed a finger him. "I knew you would be!"

Ji Hoo gently pushed her head back down and rubbed small circles on her lower back, rewarded when she sighed in pleasure. He had learned weeks ago that a buildup of pressure there caused Jan Di to be especially irritable. Relieving the pressure greatly improved her mood. He scolded lightly, "I don't you not to worry so much. I am mad, but I've been mad at Goo Jun Pyo before, as he has been with me. It's not going to cause a break in our friendship."

"Don't fight with him over this," Jan Di ordered, but was less forceful than usual given that her eyes were closed and a small smiled played on her face.

"I would have to talk to him to fight and since he seems to be studiously ignoring me? That won't be a problem."

"I mean it Ji Hoo."

"We won't fight over this."

"Thank you."

They sat silently together as Ji Hoo continued to massage her lower back for her. "Jan Di… I'm sorry that Ju-"

Whatever he would have said was lost when Takeo came out of the house, calling for them. "Young Master! Ms. Jan Di!"

"Uh oh, we are in trouble now."

Ji Hoo bit back laugh at her amused tone, "is this the first time you broke your protocol?"

"I think so," Jan Di tried not to frown, "but it should be fine, we are just in the garden."

Takeo reached them, "Ms. Jan Di, you know you shouldn't leave the house without letting us know where you are."

Jan Di grimaced; I guess it's not fine.

They went back into the house with Takeo following and Tae Sung standing by the door watching them with his arms crossed. Jan Di offered a quick sorry before escaping further into the house. Ji Hoo stopped by the door to the living room and picked up the canvas bag he had dropped there.

"What is that?" Jan Di asked, pointing to the bag.

"I found some videos today that I wanted to bring home to watch."

"What kind of videos?"

"Just some old videos from vacations and things like that."

"Oh… do you want to watch one now?"

"You want to?"

"I think it would be nice." She pinched his cheek. "I bet you were a cute kid."

~*~*~*~...~*~*~*~

"Jan Di!" Ga Eul said brightly as she was lead into the kitchen by Seung Won. She threw him a quick thanks before turning back to her friend.

Jan Di looked over from where she stood at the counter preparing dinner, and smiled at her friend. She quickly assessed her face and saw that though she was putting on a good facade, Ga Eul was already sad over Yi Jung leaving. Sensing that Ga Eul wanted to keep things as normal as possible she just kept the smile on her face and went back to cooking. "Hi Ga Eul! Did you bring everything?"

Ga Eul nodded, "I don't see why we needed to bring so much soju. We can't even drink."

"It'll be nice for the guys to be able to have a toast to themselves."

"I guess," Ga Eul shrugged, she had never been big on drinking and she didn't see any reason why she should start now that Yi Jung is leaving. She didn't want to ruin their last days together by being drunk and then hung over. "Can I help with anything?"

"I am almost done. We just need to wait for everyone to get here. Yi Jung drove you didn't he?"

"Yes he is in the other room speaking to Ji Hoo sunbae."

"Okay, then we just need to wait for Woo Bin, Si Yeon, Jun Hee Noona, and Il Hyun and his girlfriend."

"You invited Yi Jung's brother?"

"I thought he would want to say goodbye as well," Jan Di explained as she finished peeling the garlic for the samgyeopsal. Taking off her gloves she gave her hands a quick sniff, thankful when they smelled fresh.

"Oh, Yi Jung told me some news on the way here."

"What is it?"

"Il Hyun and Eun Jae eloped yesterday."

"Seriously?" Jan Di paused her movements.

"Seriously... I guess it was an impulse and they only came back to Seoul to say goodbye to Yi Jung before they go on their honeymoon."

"It seems like it was a doubly good idea to invite them, then."

"I guess," Ga Eul said faintly as she thought of all the implications. Yi Jung hadn't had much of a reaction when he relayed the news to her and she was hoping that things didn't become uncomfortable for him. "Huh... did you say Jun Hee Noona?"

"Mmm, yes." Jan Di answered as she washed her hands to cut the pork. "She showed up last night and I invited her to join us. You know she has always been fond of the guys and this will be her last chance to see Yi Jung for a while."

"That's true," Ga Eul agreed. "Why is she in Korea?"

"She had some things to take care of," Jan Di said, evading a true answer.

"This has become a bigger party than expected," Ga Eul said she inserted the gas cans into the portable stoves that would be set on the table to cook the pork. "I had thought it would just be the six of us but it should be fun."

"Are you doing anything after the party tonight?"

Ga Eul nodded, eyes lit with curiosity. "Yi Jung said we are going somewhere but I'm not sure where that is."

Jan Di laughed, "Knowing him, whatever it is will be spectacular."

She looked at Jan Di with curiosity, "What do you mean?"

Jan Di cleared her throat. "I never told you this, but when you are Yi Jung had your date, that first date long ago, I followed you. Pretty impressive."

Ga Eul burst into laughter, "Oh... I never knew you didn't realize the truth."

"What truth?"

"Jan Di... that wasn't a real date. We were just going out to make you think we were dating. The guys were trying to get you and Jun Pyo together since everyone knew..." Ga Eul trailed off after she mentioned Jun Pyo's name. She hadn't talked about him with her friend in a long time and she wasn't sure how Jan DI would react to it.

Jan Di didn't say anything, just smiled a little. "Wow you really fooled me." Jan Di thought back and let out a little gasp, "Did Woo Bin trick me on purpose? He showed me Yi Jung's "Five Seconds to Kill" and I was sure I was going to end up kicking Yi Jung in the face for trying that with you."

"Five Seconds to Kill?" Ga Eul asked, before shaking her head. "Nevermind, I probably don't want to know."

"It is something else," Jan Di laughed, "Woo Bin demonstrated for me, and even then I felt nervous for you. Unnecessarily I guess."

~*~*~*~...~*~*~*~

"Are you all ready to go?" Ji Hoo asked Yi Jung as they played a game of pool together in the basement recreation room.

"I'm all set," Yi Jung replied. "I already shipped most of my belongings so I don't even have to deal with that tomorrow, just take my luggage and go to the airport."

"Do you need a ride?" Ji Hoo offered.

"Woo Bin is going to drive me, but you can come too." Yi Jung hesitated. "Don't bring Jan Di though, I am planning on saying goodbye to Ga Eul tonight and I don't want her to think I'm excluding her from the airport."

"Then why can't she go?"

"I think she is going to cry," Yi Jung admitted. "If she is upset, then I will become upset and it will be harder for me to go."

"Are you really finding it hard to leave?"

"Ji Hoo," Yi Jung said with reproach, "of course I am. I am excited for the possibilities that lie ahead of me but at the same time, it is hard to leave everyone and everything that I'm familiar with for so long. This isn't like a vacation, it's for four years."

"You should do what I'm doing and graduate early," Ji Hoo advised."

"How early are you graduating?"

"I'll be done in two years."

Yi Jung shook his head, "I don't see how you are going to accomplish everything. You are both a medical student and getting your business degree. With everything you have to do, how are you going to have time for Jan Di and the babies?"

Ji Hoo hesitated before he answered, wanting to be open but unsure how far to push it. This was the first time Yi Jung had mentioned his ties to Jan Di and the babies without the hint of censure or anger.

He cleared his throat, "That is why I am cramming as much as I can in right now. When the babies come I'll have more free time to help."

"Is everything ready?"

"We are setting up the nursery next week, everything we need is order. The only issue we are having now is that I want to hire a nanny to help Jan Di but she is sure she can handle it herself," Ji Hoo frowned, sincerely annoyed. The fight they had had over the hiring of a nanny had been one of the more exasperating arguments he and Jan Di had had since she moved in. "Even if she can handle it I think that she should accept the help. Two babies are so much more work than one and she doesn't want to take any time off school so a nanny is going to be needed eventually. I don't see why having help earlier is too much."

"You should tell her that hiring a nanny earlier will help her get used to the idea and allow her to observe the nanny in action before she leaves the babies alone with them."

Ji Hoo cheered up, "Good idea Yi Jung. Thanks, I don't know why I didn't think of that sooner but it will probably work."

~*~*~*~...~*~*~*~

Jun Pyo sat in the bar, immune to the noise surrounding him. Even though it was the weekend and in America it seemed most people only worked five days a week he didn't follow that structure. He still went in to the office every day unless he was required to be at some other function. He had always enjoyed New York while traveling, but it was different when he was living here.

I miss my friends, Jun Pyo admitted. He could remember the last time he had been away from them for so long. He was determined to make this work, but didn't bother making an effort in gaining new friends. He knew he couldn't be himself around them, not knowing if one might be one of his mother's spies. She had done so in the past, hired someone to try to befriend her only son so she could keep closer tabs on him. Unfortunately for her, Goo Jun Pyo was a picky man who didn't care to attempt a closer relationship than necessary with most people.

So why had he gotten close to Geum Jan Di? Every time he tried to deny the depth that their relationship might have had, he was denied the opportunity. That girl…. whose name he couldn't remember…. who had showed up yesterday…. had sounded utterly convincing when she spoke to him. The fact that she was unaware of the tiny problem he was having with his memory gave her assertion more weight. She spoke as though he already knew everything she was saying and she was just reminding him.

Jun Pyo sighed inwardly, not allowing the other patrons to see his misery. Well now what am I going to do? Jun Pyo thought with mixed emotions. It's not like I was wrong for asking for a paternity test. It is what any man would have done. If she had just agreed then I wouldn't have so much doubt about her truthfulness.

There were so many questions to be answered, but they would have to wait until he had the advantage over his mother. He was so close to achieving what he wanted. The chance was close to nil that anyone would find out what he was planning, only two people knew everything in its entirety and those two people could be trusted. Soon he would have to start keeping Secretary Jung in the dark, not because of distrust but because the more people who knew a secret the more likely it would get out. He wasn't worried about a malicious or deliberate attempt, but of an accidental reveal.

Jun Hee Noona was the only one other than himself that was completely invested in the outcome. Therefore, she was the only one who would know when he was ready to strike.

~*~*~*~...~*~*~*~

After the rests of the guests arrive Jan Di called them into the dining room, where along with Ga Eul she had already prepared the table for everyone to eat. There were three stoves laid out. Jan Di was on the side while Ga Eul was on the other each taking care to make sure that there was enough pork cooking for their individual groups. Jan Di had been worried about the stove in the middle of the table but it turned out that Woo Bin was used to eating samgyeopsal at home, though it was usually the maids who handled the cooking for them. He had assured her that he had spent enough time watching and was confident he wouldn't burn any of the food.

Dinner was going well when, everyone seemed to be having a good time and was eating a lot. It turned out that the only three people who hadn't eaten samgyeopsal, at least not the way you were supposed to, before were Ji Hoo, Yi Jung, and Si Yeon. It wasn't a surprise when you thought about the fact that Si Yeon was primarily raised in America while Ji Hoo hadn't had a lot of family growing up. Making samgyeopsal usually involved a group since it could be a hassle to prepare everything for one person. Yi Jung had eaten the food before, but have never prepared it himself and had never seen it done.

Jan Di was showing Ji Hoo how to wrap the food in the lettuce leaves, but she kept laughing at the way he was trying to eat it.

"Stop trying to be so neat Ji Hoo! No tiny bites, just stuff it in your mouth."

Ji Hoo stubbornly refused and took a bite out of one side, causing it to fall apart with the contents spilling onto the table. He looked up sheepishly at her, and she just smiled.

"Here," Jan Di took the wrap she had just made for herself and stuffed it into his mouth before he could protest. She grinned and nodded encouragingly, "See? Isn't it better to eat it this way? It's so good."

Ji Hoo watched as Jan Di went to make herself another one when he glance up and saw Yi Jung watching them with a resigned look, tinged with what he thought was annoyance. Jan Di followed his gaze and saw who he was looking at.

She sighed when she realized he had noticed her feeding Ji Hoo and was not happy about it. Jan Di grimaced, this has gone on for too long. I'm going to have to talk to him tonight before he leaves.

Soo Yeon came into the room, announcing, "You have another guest, Ms. Jan Di."

Jan Di looked up and with complete shock dropped the chopsticks she had just used to grab a piece of pork, "Unnie! What are you doing here?"

Ha Jae Kyung stood in the doorway and watched the group with an angry look on her face. Without saying a word she walked in and slapped Jan Di across the face.

Ji Hoo stood up immediately along with Woo Bin and Yi Jung as protests filled the air. "Unnie! Why did you do that to Jan Di?" "Who is that?" "Monkey!" "Ha Jae Kyung!" "Monkey!" Jan Di pressed a hand to her now reddened cheek as Soo Yeon grabbed Jae Kyung to prevent her to do further damage.

"Hey! Get off me!" Jae Kyung immediately protested. "Chin! Come in here!"

Jae Kyung's loyal guard immediately came in and saw the woman holding her charge and leaped forward to free her. Soo Yeon saw that, and pressed a hand to her ear. "Seung Won! I need back up in here."

"Stop!" Jan Di said and when the guards paused she continued speaking, "she is a friend. This is just a misunderstanding."

"Big misunderstanding," Jae Kyung said with a bitterness. "I gave up everything for you and you threw it away."

Jan Di winced, "You just don't understand what happened unnie. Let me explain it to you."

"You don't have to explain anything," Ji Hoo said as he glared at the girl. "You don't owe her any explanations."

"And you! Didn't I tell you we had to give them up? How could you do this to your best friend?"

Jan Di was acutely aware of the eyes on them. Si Yeon looked especially interested in the story. She stood up, causing Jae Kyung to notice her pregnancy for the first time.

Jae Kyung lost her anger and asked with a great deal of confusion, "Are you... are you having a baby?"

"Unnie," Jan Di sighed, "Let's just go to the other room and I'll explain everything to you, okay?"

Ji Hoo stopped her with a hand on her shoulder, "do you want me to go with you two?"

She noticed the glare he was sending Jae Kyung and patted his hand where it rested on her. "No we'll be okay."

The group watched as the two ladies and their bodyguards left the room and as soon as they cleared the door Si Yeon spoke up. "What was that about?"

Ji Hoo sighed and ignored the question. Woo Bin tried to shush her, or at least make her obvious enjoyment of the drama not so apparent, "It's nothing Si Yeon, you don't need to worry about it."

"How was that nothing? It was like this American Soap Opera's I watch. They are awesome! There are always fights breaking out at parties."

"Si Yeon, please. Don't."

She pouted and spoke to her fiancé, "Woo, why do I feel like everyone knows something that I don't? How is that fair?"

"We don't know anything," Eun Ja spoke up. She was curious as well, but she was old enough to know it was none of her business and it wouldn't do anyone good to push the issue. She just wanted Si Yeon to realize it wasn't a conspiracy to keep her in the dark.

"Well, fine." the group sighed in relief when they thought Si Yeon had given up. "So who did that girl give up and why did she slap Jan Di for it?" She sat up straighter when a thought occurred to her. "Did... did... Jan Di cheat up Ji Hoo?" She asked the question, forgetting that Ji Hoo was still at the table.

Her question was met with groans for most of the table, and she looked at them with confusion. "What did I say?"

~*~*~*~...~*~*~*~

Jan Di sat down awkwardly next to her friend, she opened her mouth to speak but closed it again immediately when she couldn't think of the words to say. Finally, she told her honestly, "Unnie, I'm just not sure where to start it's a long story."

Jae Kyung bit back the words, 'don't call me unnie", and instead told the younger girl, "Why don't you start at the beginning."

"I guess our second beginning started after you called off the wedding. When we came back to Seoul Jun Pyo and I were happy, but we couldn't be together because his mother blamed both of us for the broken agreement with The JK Group. When we saw eachother it was in secret, but we were so happy."

"So what happened?"

"His mother realized that while I could handle what she threw at me I wasn't able to stand her going after the people I care about. First thing she did was cause Ga Eul's father to lose his job. He was forced into early retirement. Woo Bin got him a job at one of companies, but it scared me. Then I found out she was going to do a take over the Su Am Art Foundation, buy it up and break it into little pieces. That's when I realized she wouldn't stop until she got what she wanted."

"What did she want?"

"For me to be out of her son's life, completely out. So we made a deal, she would leave everyone else alone and I would leave Seoul."

"You're here so obviously you didn't leave," Jae Kyung pointed out.

"I did leave. It's just... Ji Hoo found me and came to see me. He told Jun Pyo where I was and he came too though I didn't know he was there that day."

"What happened next?"

"I wasn't there, but from what Ji Hoo told me... he was walking back to his car when he heard a car coming to him and before he could move Jun Pyo came out of nowhere and pushed him out of the way, ending up hit himself."

"If he saved Ji Hoo's life, how could you betray him?"

"Unnie! Please let me finish," Jan Di blew out a breath and pressed a hand to her now throbbing head. "After he was hit by the car he was in a coma for months before he finally woke up."

"That's a good thing isn't it?" Jae Kyung asked as she noticed the sorrow on the Jan Di's face.

"It is," Jan Di agreed, "except for the fact that he didn't remember almost two years of his life. He didn't remember me."

"That's crazy!" Jae Kyung laughed. "I saw him in New York and he..." She trailed off when she remembered Jun Pyo's odd behavior and reactions to some of the things she said. "Oh... oh!"

Jan Di nodded. "I tried to make him remember, but he hated me." Jae Kyung reached over before she could stop herself and brushed a tear away from the corner of Jan Di's eye. "He still doesn't like being around me. I gave up trying to force him to remember when I turned up pregnant. It was time to put the child first I told myself. It was easier said than done, but I managed to do it."

"That doesn't explain... does Jun Pyo know-"

"That I'm pregnant?" Jan Di finished the sentence and nodded. "His mother knows I'm pregnant and suspects that Jun Pyo is the father."

"Is he?" Jae Kyung asked. When Jan Di nodded she continued speaking, "Then why marry Ji Hoo? That doesn't make sense."

"Kang Hee Soo tried to have me kidnapped," Jan Di said simply. "Ji Hoo married me to protect the babies."

"Babies?" Jae Kyung squeaked the word.

Jan Di smiled softly down at her belly, "We're having twins, a boy and a girl."

Jae Kyung smiled at the thought before remembering Jun Pyo.

"What about Goo Jun Pyo? Where does he fit in?"

"He... he doesn't believe me anymore about the babies. He wants a paternity test."

Jae Kyung ignored the sadness on Jan Di's face. "What about your life? How does he fit into your life?"

"Right now? He doesn't."

"Jan Di... you've given up on him?"

She didn't answer and only looked up when Jae Kyung grabbed her hand and told her seriously. "I am going to get him back Jan Di."

Hope you enjoyed the chapter!
Thank you for taking time to read and review:)

A.N. 1) - For anyone that still may be interested in reading this, I apologize for the extremely tardy update. My computer ended up crashing and I lost everything for my stories. Since I had redo all the timeline and character profiles, along with rewriting the chapters I felt lazy and procrastinated too long. I tried my best to recreate the story I had already written. The major points of the story are the same but the way that content is expressed is a bit different. I apologize if the flow of the story is different then before. I am not longer ahead by multiple chapters but will do my best to update on a frequent and regular basis.

A.N. 2) - Honestly this has been uploaded and ready to post for a couple of weeks now. I just can't tell if it's any good or not. It probably isn't but I am going to stop thinking about it so much. If I don't post it now I will probably abandon the story and I don't want to do that. I am almost done with the next chapter now so hopefully that will be up soon.
