Chapter 21 Burying the Hatchet [Romeo and Juliet Extra: Yes!]

Diamond's POV [Romeo and Juliet Extra: This is the first time the story's in Diamond's POV.]

One Hour Later

I knocked on Austin's door.

Said person opened.

"Diamond", he said in shock. "What are you doing here?"

"Can I come in", I asked.

"Um...", Austin said unsurely. "Sure. Come in."

I did just that.

"What are you doing here", Austin asked.

I didn't answer. Instead I gave Austin his journal.

Said person looked at it in shock.

"Where'd you get this", he asked.

"Violetta gave it to me", I revealed. "I don't know where she got it from though."

Austin just nodded.

"Did you read it", he asked.

"Yes", I replied. "Austin, why didn't you just tell me you had feelings for me? Why did you lie."

"I was a kid", Austin pointed out. "I wasn't really thinking straight."

"You clearly weren't", I stated. "But I could've reacted better as well."

Austin looked at me in shock.

"I'm sorry Austin", I apologised. "I let this go way out of proportion."

"I did too", Austin stated before holding out his hand. "Tell you what? Why don't we just burry the hatchet?" [Romeo and Juliet: Please do! Please do!]

I thought for a moment...before taking Austin's hand.

"Sounds good." [Romeo and Juliet: Yes!]

"Great", Austin said before letting go of Diamond's hand. "So...now what?"

"First", I started. "We need to go talk to Violetta and find out how she got the journal."

Monday

Violetta's POV

I was at the studio when I heard this.

"May Violetta Castillo please come to the teacher's lounge. Thank you."

"What's that all about", Francesca asked.

"No idea", I replied.

With that I made my way to the teacher's lounge.

And when I did...Diamond and Austin was there.

I sat down in confusion.

"You guys wanted to see me", I asked.

"Yes", Diamond replied. "Violetta, where did you get Austin's journal? And the truth."

I gulped nervously before giving my Answer.

"Austin", I started. "Do you remember Roxie? That girl from the party?"

"Yeah", Austin replied in confusion.

"Well actually", I started. "That was me."

Upon hearing this...Austin looked at me in shock.

"You were Roxie", he asked in shock.

"Yes", I replied. "I did that so I could find out what caused you two to hate each other. Then maybe use it so you two would make up."

"Now why would you do that", Diamond asked.

"So I could be friends with Tomas again", I replied.

Then...Austin and Diamond did something that shocked me.

They...smiled.

"Well", Diamond started. "You'll be happy to know that your plan worked."

Upon hearing this...I looked at Diamond in shock.

"It did", I asked in shock.

"It did", Diamond repeated. "Austin and I realised how childish we were acting. So, we're putting this stupid rivalry behind us." [Romeo and Juliet: Yes!]

"Does that mean..."

"Yes", Diamond said before I could finish. "You can be friends with Tomas." [Romeo and Juliet: Double yes!]

Upon hearing that...I grinned from ear to ear.

I then launched myself at Austin and Diamond and gave them a big hug! [Romeo and Juliet: Hug attack! My favourite kind of attack.]

"Thank you so much", I said.

"Why don't you go and tell Tomas the good news", Austin said.

With that I ran out of the room.

I saw Tomas and tackled him in a hug!

"Violetta", he said before pushing me back. "What are you doing?"

"Our plan worked Tomas", I revealed happily. "Austin and Diamond made up. And they said we can be friends!"

"Really", Tomas asked happily.

"Really", I repeated.

With that Tomas grinned from ear to ear.

He then picked me up and spun me around.

This would've been a perfect moment...but then this happened.

Suddenly, I heard somebody clear their throat.

I turned around...and saw Leon. [Romeo and Juliet: Oh poop.]

"Leon", I said nervously.

"What plan are you talking about", Leon asked.

I sighed before giving Leon an answer.

"Tomas and I worked together to find out what made Diamond and Austin hate each other so much", I replied. "We did, and we were able to get Austin and Diamond to make up."

"So", Leon started. "You guys are friends now?"

"Yeah", I replied.

"I don't like it." [Romeo and Juliet: Oh no.]

"Why", I asked.

"Because he's your ex", Leon replied.

"Technically we never dated", Tomas pointed out.

"But you still had feelings for each other", Leon pointed out.

"The key word being had", I stated. "Leon, I understand your concern. I would feel the same way if you started hanging out with Lara again."

"Who's Lara", Tomas asked.

"She's my ex girlfriend", Leon revealed before looking at me. "And I would never put you through that."

"And I would never tell you not to hang out with Lara", I stated.

"So you're saying I can hang out with Lara", Leon asked.

"Yes", I replied.

"Good", Leon stated. "Because I was thinking about hanging out with her after school. Why don't the two of you come with?"

I knew what Leon was trying to do. He was trying to make me jealous to make a point. But I wasn't going to let him win that easily."

"Sure", I replied. "Let's do it."
