"Bad luck blondie, you don't have a chance of beating me." Kankuro said with a smirk.

"You shouldn't underestimate your opponent." Ino said.

"Let the second match begin." the leaf ninja said.

Ino immediately threw two kunai at Kankuro while simultaneously jumping back.

"Nice try, but not good enough." Kankuro said blocking the kunai with one of his own and then running to throw a punch to Ino's side.

Got you, Ino thought before revealing she used the substitution jutsu, "Ninja Art: Mind Transfer Jutsu."

"Mind Transfer, what's she talking about?" Temari asked.

"Wait Yamanaka, that explains everything." Baki said. "The Yamanaka clan is known for mind alteration techniques, she's in control of Kankuro's body now."

"What, but wait isn't that?" Temari asked.

"Yeah, I have no idea what's going to happen now." Baki said nervously.

"What the, there's no mind in his body." Ino said in shock. "Wait, that feeling."

Suddenly Ino took the bandaged object off of Kankuro's back and threw a kick at it only for her leg to stop in mid-swing.

"I don't know what you just did, but you won't be beating me that easily." said a voice from inside the bandages.

"What, what's going on?" Ino asked before Kankuro revealed himself to be inside the bandages. "I must admit this is going to be an interesting match."

"That might be, but I'm going to win." Ino said confidently.

"Well, this is going to be an interesting match." Kakashi said calmly.

"What do you mean sensei, how is this fight interesting, Ino took over his body and now there's another one of him." Naruto said.

"This Kankuro is a puppet master, he controls a puppet from a distance and has it fight for him, but now Ino is controlling the puppet body." Kakashi said. "In other words this has become a battle over who has more control."

"I get it, so the one who manages to have the puppet do what they want is going to win." Hinata said.

"That's not the case, Ino's jutsu is powerful but it only lasts for five minutes." Asuma said walking up. "It's already been two, so Ino needs to finish this quickly."

"Wait, but if they're fighting over control how can Ino possibly win in less than three minutes?" Hinata asked.

"We'll have to see what happens." Asuma said calmly.

"Well, why don't we see how skilled you are." Kankuro said manipulating his puppets arm behind its back.

Ouch, my arm doesn't bend that way, Ino thought before whipping her leg around and kicking Kankuro in the chest.

"Alright, now I'm mad." Kankuro said. "Let's see how you handle this one."

Oh crap I feel like my arms are being pulled out of their sockets, I just need a few more seconds and my jutsu will end, Ino thought.

"Game over kid." Kankuro said before separating his puppet into pieces.

"Ino!" Choji yelled in fear.

"I'm alright, the jutsu wore off just before he split up that puppet." Ino said. "Alright, I know when I'm beat, I give up."

"The winner of the second match is Kankuro." the leaf ninja said.

"Smart choice kid." Kankuro said before jumping back up to his teammates.

"Hey Ino, are you alright?" Asuma asked.

"I'll be ok, but I'm upset I lost so easily." Ino said. "Let's got out of the way, the next match needs to start."

"Right." Asuma said before helping Ino up to the stands.

"We will now select the next two shinobi for battle." the leaf ninja said.

"Ok, it's my turn to show these guys what I can do." Kiba said confidently.

"Don't overestimate your own abilities Kiba, there's quite a few shinobi here that we don't know about." Shino said. "You aren't even in this match."

"What, who's fighting than?" Kiba asked looking to see the two ninja who were going to fight.

"The third match, Hinata Hyuga vs Dosu Kinuta." the leaf ninja said.

"Well, this is going to be interesting." Dosu said before jumping down to the stadium. "Nobody is going to be saving you this time, you got lucky in the forest."

"Hinata, what's he talking about?" Naruto asked.

"We were unconscious in the forest, those guys must have attacked Hinata." Sasuke said. "I'm guessing someone helped her out."

"Don't worry, I have an idea." Hinata said jumping down. "You won't beat me."

"Oh, the little girl thinks she can beat me." Dosu said. "Let's see just what you can do."

Hinata immediately ran towards Dosu and tried to kick him in the face only for him to block with his arm guard.

"My head, what's going on?" Hinata asked painfully.

"My arm guard takes the sound from an impact and amplifies it to levels that can be used as a weapon." Dosu explained. "You can't defeat me."

"I won't quit, Byakugan." Hinata said confidently.

Dosu simply raised his arm and struck his gauntlet with a small tap.

"Not this time." Hinata said with a small smile.

"What, why isn't my technique effecting you?" Dosu asked.

"My chakra, I'm using it to shield my ears from your attacks." Hinata said. "You shouldn't have told me how you fight."

"I see, but there's more to my technique than damaging your ears." Dosu said calmly.

"What, what are you talking about?" Hinata asked nervously.

Suddenly Dosu ran right towards Hinata and punched her in the stomach.

"What, how did you…" Hinata asked collapsing to her knees.

"The human body is excellent at conducting sound waves." Dosu said. "You might have protected your ears but I can strike at your organs directly."

"I'm not giving up, Eight Trigrams Sky Palm." Hinata said weakly.

"You're mistake little girl." Dosu said before punching her again.

"That's enough, this match is over." Kakashi said before teleporting down. "You don't need to kill her, you've already won."

"She's the one who wouldn't listen to reason and quit." Dosu said calmly before teleporting back up to the other sound ninja.

"Kakashi-sensei, I'm sorry I didn't win." Hinata said quietly.

"You did very well Hinata, you should only be proud of yourself." Kakashi said.

"Thank you sensei." Hinata said before falling unconscious.
