Guys I'm back! Its only been like two years, but here's another chapter to No Way. I am so sorry I've been away for so long. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
After her previous eventful day, Clary had a wonderful Friday. Her and Jace joked throughout their classes, Simon explained to her the hilariously ridiculous plot to a low budget science fiction film he had watched the night before, Magnus covered her art class in glitter, and Sebastian skulked a nice distance away when they passed in the hallways.
After the last bell of the day rang, Clary happily made her way through the parking lot to her car. Jace was taking the bus home, because she was headed straight to Isabelle's to get ready for their clubbing experience later on. Even though Clary now enjoyed Jace's presence, she still appreciated a drive by herself. There was nothing better than driving alone with the music blaring and the windows down. She shuffled through her CD collection until she finally decided to jam out to Neck Deep's "Life's Not Out to Get You" album. She popped the CD in, turned up the volume, and pulled out of the parking lot.
It wasn't long before Clary pulled her little car into the Lightwood's massive driveway. Mr. and Mrs. Lightwood owned a national PR firm, and had some of the biggest celebrities as clients. To put it simply, the Lightwoods were loaded and lived in a gorgeous mansion. Alec and Isabelle were so down to earth that sometimes Clary forgot about the wealth they had grown up around. Clary made her way up the beautifully landscaped walk, but Isabelle had the door open before Clary even had a chance to knock.
"Come on Clary, the boys are going to be here in two hours, we have to get you ready," she exclaimed, yanking Clary up the stairs to her bedroom.
"Does it really take two hours to get ready Isabelle?" Clary grumbled.
"No Clary, it takes three, but we're going to have to make it work," Isabelle explained seriously.
"If you say so Izzy," Clary laughed from the bed as Isabelle started rifling through her walk-in closet.
"Here, this is just your style Clary," Isabelle yelled back as she threw out a black t-shirt dress. Clary started to protest but smiled when Isabelle hit her in the face with a green and black flannel shirt. "You can even wear those ratty old Converse you love so much,"
"Usually I hate when you pick my outfits Izzy, but this one is perfect," Clary beamed at her best friend.
"I know, I know. Don't get all mushy on me Clary, I'm still going to make you do your hair and makeup," Isabelle laughed as she pushed Clary into the bathroom to change. When Clary emerged, feeling confident in her outfit, she saw Izzy wearing a floor length, skin tight, black and sparkly spaghetti strap dress.
"You look absolutely stunning Isabelle, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised," Clary gushed, smiling as Isabelle did ridiculous poses in front of her mirror.
"You look beautiful too Clary, all thanks to me of course," Isabelle smirked. "Come on let's get this beast tamed" she pushed Clary into her vanity chair, poking at Clary's curly red mane.

Clary was reading magazines on Izzy's bed and Izzy was finishing applying red lipstick when the doorbell rang. Clary rushed downstairs, opening the door to reveal Jace and Simon. The two were in an argument about whether a T-Rex or Clifford the Big Red Dog would win in a fight. Without even acknowledging Clary, they kept arguing as she rolled her eyes and led them into the Lightwood's pristine living room. Magnus and Alec were already sitting on the couch laughing at some reality show on the tv, so Clary left the boys in the living room, and ran back up the stairs to grab Isabelle.
When the two girls descended the stairs together, all four boys were engaged in a heated discussion. Simon and Alec yelled that Clifford the Big Red Dog would kick a T-Rex's ass while Magnus and Jace argued that Emily Elizabeth's furry friend stood no chance against the pre-historic gigantic lizard.
"Are they really talking about what I think they are?" Isabelle asked Clary when they walked into the living room.
"Yeah they really are Izzy, can you believe we call these people our friends?" Clary laughed
"WILL YOU FOUR SHUT UP?" Isabelle yelled at the boys. They all turned to look at her, seeming to just be realizing that the girls were in the room with them.
"We're going to Pandemonium remember? That's why we're all here," Clary reminded them, speaking more gently than Isabelle had. Jace turned to look at Clary as she spoke, and didn't stop looking at her until the group was outside. They all laughed as they climbed into Simon's lame yet convenient mini van. The back windshield was littered with bumper stickers that Simon had collected over the years, and the paint was chipped, but they all fit to go clubbing in it. Simon and Isabelle sat up front, Magnus and Alec sat in the middle two seats, and Jace and Clary squeezed into the back row. Clary, with her short legs, had no problems, but Jace moaned and groaned about not having enough room for his lanky self. He finally got frustrated trying to fit behind Magnus' seat and just sat in the middle, sticking his long ass legs in the aisle between Magnus and Alec.
He had more room, but now he was practically on top of Clary. He didn't seem affected by it, but Clary was hyper aware of where their thighs toughed and their shoulders brushed. The ride to Pandemonium was about a half an hour, so Isabelle played DJ. She forced the group of friends to listen to One Direction and Justin Bieber, and although they'd never admit it, everyone lightheartedly sang along. Many singalongs later, the mini van pulled into the parking lot of the club.
"You look beautiful tonight Firetop," Jace told Clary as he helped her down out of the van.
"You don't look so bad yourself Goldilocks," Clary retorted, attempting to hide her reddening cheeks behind her equally red hair.
Pandemonium Club chapter is in the works, so don't worry!
