Ambush
"Hear what" Treecko asked puzzled. Eve was covering her ears and squeezing her eyes shut as if she heard an ear-slitting sound. "That laughter" Eve yelled at him. "Who's laughing" Treecko was even more puzzled he thought Eve was going crazy. The cave was silent accept for the sound of dripping water occasionally. "Dusknoir" Eve whispered falling to her knees clutching her head even harder.
Eve could hear nothing but laughter all around her as she fell to her knees. She knew it was Dusknoir's voice that was making the noise. Treecko was at her side in an instant she saw his lips move but heard nothing. Her head was pounding and the room was spinning around her. She saw something glint in the corner of her eye she quickly drew her dagger still holding her head with one hand. She slashed the air where she had seen the glint. It hit something not rock but a body. A Sableye felled to the ground blood pouring from his wound. She watched as the pool of blood turned to sand and ran up to it source. Then a few seconds later the Sableye was a pile of sand blown away by a powerful wind even though they were in a cave. Eve's hand was shaking and lost grip on her dagger and it slid away.
Treecko saw the Sableye turn to sand and saw Eve drop her dagger before it slid away. He knew that she was right about Dusknoir being here but he couldn't see him. "Eve let's get out of here" he called to her but she didn't move. "She can't hear you" came a deep voice that echoed through the cave. "Dusknoir" Treecko growled "What have you done" he gritted his teeth while speaking. Dusknoir appeared before him "I have merely excluded her from our conversation" he answered flatly. "Or made her weak with your tricks" Treecko retorted bitterly. "Here is the deal" he continued unfazed "You come quietly and I promise not to hurt her". Treecko lunged at Dusknoir attempting a pound attack "You'd hurt her anyway" he shouted. The attack went straight through Dusknoir. Treecko had forgotten that normal attacks don't work on ghost types.
Eve saw Treecko fighting with Dusknoir and the many pairs of gleaming eyes watching the fight. All she could hear was laughing though as her vision darkened. Then a voice came through the laughing "Fight it Eve, your friend is in trouble" it called before only laughing could be heard again. Eve saw Treecko firing Bullet seeds and dodging Shadow balls. She crawled across the floor to where her dagger lay and reached out to grasp it. When she touched it a light shone and covered her vision. The laughing became a deep cry of despair. When the light cleared she heard only the cries of battle from Treecko and Dusknoir. She stood up gripping her dagger tightly as it shone with white light. She was across the room in a heartbeat between Dusknoir and Treecko.
Eve appeared in front of him her eyes blazing with feeling. She slashed Dusknoir's chest before leaping into a mid-air back flip. She made a motion for Dusknoir to come to her and he did leaving Treecko to tussle with a dozen Sableye. Eve fought Dusknoir moving quickly never in the same place for more than two seconds. She slashed quickly at Dusknoir and sometimes ended up by Treecko's side. She took out a Sableye before moving back to her own fight. Treecko shot Bullet seeds wildly hitting Sableye and turning them to sand. He wished he could help her but every time he tried to move closer to her Sableye blocked his path. He saw a dark pulse clip her shoulder and she staggered back a step or two before changing the hand that held her dagger. "Is this all you've got" he chuckled and moved toward the passage that was behind him. It was the left passage and Eve followed after him darting a quick glance at Treecko and nodded. Treecko nodded back to her. He could take care of the rest of the Sableye. Once they left the room the Sableye's numbers seemed to dwindle and he finished them off quickly.
Eve ran through the passage way until she emerged into another room a dead end. Dusknoir was waiting for her. She walked towards him holding her dagger ready. "Eve I hoped you'd come" he said smiling. Eve didn't answer instead she growled like a Poochyena baring her teeth. "Come now my dear" he soothed "You do want to see your father don't you" he questioned her. Eve tried not to listen but it was hard because Dusknoir was suddenly beside her whispering in her ear. "Why don't you just give up, that's what your father wants, he wants to see you" he told her. "Does he really want to see me, maybe I should give up" her mind was clouding with every word Dusknoir spoke. "He misses you Eve so why don't you come with me" Dusknoir voice was sweet and reassuring. Eve dropped her dagger "I will" she whispered.
Eve: man am i being hypnotised or something

Eve: That's so unfair can't i just punch him that'd be more exciting
