A/N: Thank you so much everyone for reviewing. Especially to all of you who love this story, I'm glad you all like Cary. So I wrote this chapter just for you. It's been quite a while since I've written her POV. Don't worry; we'll still have Bells or Renesmee's POV in the middle for the continuation of the cliffy. Enjoy

Chapter 20: The Wedding Part 1

Carmen

Ah! Saturday, the sun was setting and yet mildly clouded which clearly means the day I can finally relax and just sit in the living room with my family as we watched movies drinking hot blood!

Today was not that day!

I was currently in my bedroom closet running through my millions of clothing and finding the perfect outfit for tonight. Tonight Brody was hosting a 'black light' party which meant I had a reputation to protect.

This house has been going nuts for the past few days and I just wanted some way to get away from all of the craziness and if Brody's Black Light party could offer that then I'd take it!

After what happened a couple of months ago with the whole 'Vampire abduction' and the Creseens coming after me and my sister, Brody found it hard to trust me again and became distant from me. I didn't let this get to me though, I mean, me crying over a boy? I totally don't have time for that…even-even if he's the cutest boy I've ever seen!

Carmen, you promised to remain calm over this. My conscious spoke to me.

Anyway, I knew that I wouldn't be allowed to step foot out of the house unless I'm either going with one of the family members, wolves or Cathy since I need 'supervision' and I'm the most 'vulnerable' person in the house. Whatever!

I hated that everyone in this damned house (yeah dad! I said it) doesn't trust me at all I mean who couldn't trust my pretty face?! Ugh!

Firstly, my family is like this 'royal' family in Forks and almost everyone knows the Cullens now. You know how people are; they have their own comments about us so whenever they see my non -aging parents and grandparents or see how the kids grow up in a fast pace, it kind of gives them lip lashes and not to mention our undying beauty!

Secondly, I have one of no…the most embarrassing and over-protective parents in the history of parenthood ! So there was no way I could pass by them. But I had a plan which may or may not get me killed.

I heard a knock on my door reach my ears as I listened to my favorite band 'One Direction'. Zayn Malik is hot!

"It's open!" I called out.

My older sister Cathy appeared in the room. I gave her a small smile. Cathy was the best. I don't know what I'd do without her. Don't get me wrong, my cousins Renesmee, Jason and Diego were awesome but Cathy is more than that. She's my sister, my other half, the better half.

"Hey," She said.

"Hey," I replied as I applied the finishing touches of eye-liner. She set a cup hot blood for me in front of me. I groaned and shook my head. "No, I'm good."

She gasped.

"You never turn down a cup of blood!"

"I know, that's what puberty does to you I guess." I said with an eye roll. "Not that I don't want it, it's just I'm a little loss of appetite."

"But you just ate two meals and one refill of coke?" She said more of a question.

"Maybe…I'd like to try something new." I said with a shrug. She raised her eyebrows. "Okay, enough with the questions Cat!"

She chuckled and moved her gaze to the mess in my room.

"What's up with all the makeup and clothing lying around? Are you going to a ball or something?" She asked.

"Alright, you got me!" I sighed. She frowned. "I'm going out." I stated.

"I think I figured that when you told mom and dad earlier." She laughed. I smiled.

"What they don't know, is I'm going to Brody's house."

"Figured that too," She said with a chuckle. I rolled my eyes.

"Well, what you don't know is he's hosting a party…that I'm invited to." I said. She lifted head and gave me her disapproval 'Catherine smile'.

"No way are you going to Brody's party," She said. Well it was technically more of a statement.

Okay let's get it straightened. Cathy disliked Brody from the beginning of our little 'relationship' or whatever you called it. Actually, ever since she entered Forks High and met him. I never got the extent of her dislike for him but long story short, she called him a prune. I mean even though none of that is true, I understand that she's just trying to look out for me. That's what sisters do right?

"Why not?" I said innocently.

"You seriously want to go to that prune's party?" She said.

"No I just want to waltz over to the library instead." I said sarcastically.

"You know how suicidal that is?" She said.

"What wrong could happen at a Black Light Party?" I asked.

"Well I don't know. For starters, there could be alcohol and all that nasty jazz and secondly. Let's not forget the homicidal/kidnapping vampire we encountered not so long ago that almost sentenced you to death by biting you!"

"And now I'm still standing, threat eliminated." I replied. Cathy can be such a mom sometimes! "And-and I'm sure if I ever come across that situation again, hopefully Renesmee's friend Derek will be there to save me again."

Derek was by far the hottest man I've seen on the planet. I don't know why, but something about him just spells 'sexy' to me. It's not like I have an undeniable connection with him but a girl can dream can't she? I mean. The moment he lifted me in his warm arms and placed me on that tree I couldn't help but lean against his hard-toned chest…Ugh Carmen Rosalie Cullen!

"You're an idiot." Cathy stated. I gave her a smile and that's when I got the text hoping that it was from Brody but instead from Jamie, Brody's sister and my best friend.

Hey, party starting in 20, meet you at my house... xoxoxo

-Jamie-bam

I couldn't help the squeal in my throat come out as I began running around my room inhumanly as I cleared up my room to make is seem neater and grabbed my purse and iPhone that was on charge.

"I'm heading over to Jamie's now since mom and dad are out hunting and I don't want to meet up with them now." I informed to my sister with a light laugh.

When the 'humans' ate, the rest of the family went hunting, meaning, Renesmee and Jason's parents, and our very own Emmett and Rosalie went out hunting and to probably get some fore-play action going on –Yeah mom! I know what you and daddy do every night –. Jasper and Alice on the other hand stayed because Alice is currently working on the finishing touches for the wedding and Jasper's just helping her out because he loves how she worked so hard and never broke a sweat. Okay Ew!

My grandparents were kind of supervising the children but knowing we could take care of ourselves, Grandpa Carlisle was in his office and Grandma Esme was in the backyard decorating flowers and god knows what.

I began walking towards my door but was stopped by my sister as she stood in front of me. I scoffed and looked her in the eye.

"Is there a problem?" I asked her, getting quite pissed.

"Yeah, I'd like to kindly ask you to stop seeing Brody. I don't trust him; he's a danger to you which means if I catch you with him again, I'll literally rip his arm off. You're not walking out this door." She said sternly. I sniggered lowly.

"Sweetheart." I began. "At least my boyfriend isn't a giant aggressive dog so I suggest you save that assumption. I think I can handle a sixteen year old."

I laughed and tried moving my way passed her but her vampire speed beat me to it as she grabbed my hand tightly. I glared at her.

"Let go." I said gruffly. She didn't loosen her grip. "I said let go!" I shouted. She narrowed her eyes at me.

"Okay, okay, take it back a little." I heard our father's voice reach our ears as his cold hands moved us apart. Cathy and I still shot daggers at each other.

"What's going on here?" Our mom asked as she stared between us both. Cathy shrugged at me as she crossed her arms. I rolled my eyes and moved them away from hers to my mother and fathers.

"Nothing, nothing at all," I whispered. "I think I'm just going to go to Jamie's." I replied and began walking out of the room, not even expecting an answer.

"I'm going to see Seth." Cathy said to our parents.

Ugh! I couldn't believe Cathy know! She's being such an ass now. Cathy and I never fought like that before, ever but now she's just acting nuts.

"Cary, where are you going?" My best friend Diego asked as he reached me. His voice was squeaky because he was transitioning into puberty. I couldn't help but snigger at it. He groaned.

"Just heading over to Jamie's," I told him. I stared at him up and down to see him wearing a muscle shirt which showed off his defined muscles which I had no idea where he got from. "What are you up to?" I asked.

"Oh, just helping Jasper with the seats for the wedding. We're actually heading over to the hall now."

Renesmee and Jacob are actually getting married near the beach. Alice ordered a giant hall for the reception –because the guest lists is like crazy– and they would get married on a cruise ship where they'll enjoy the view of the crystal waters of the beach. It'll be a beautiful sight. But they don't know that yet.

"Ah! It sucks that I can't go with you."

"Yeah and even if you could've, Alice insisted that we shouldn't allow you because she's sure you'd tell Renesmee about it."

One thing about Diego was that he never called Jasper and Alice as Mother and Father even though they adopted him. I think it's because he's still trying to get over the fact he doesn't have his biological mother in his life and his so called 'father' treated him like dirt.

"When are you people going to start trusting me?" I groaned. "I can keep a secret!"

"Don't worry Cary, I trust you." He said giving me a kiss on the forehead. I smiled. He was now about two inches taller than me and still growing!

"Are you sure you still want to be the ring beerier? I mean you're physically able to be a groomsman?" I told him.

"You think so?" He asked. I nodded.

"Hell yeah, you're getting quite hotter than usual. I can't believe your stealing my title Diego Damon!" I teased with a pout and crossed my arms. I loved calling him by his full name.

"You should know by now that I'd never steal your title mi Cara Bonita," He said smoothly. Something about what he said made me blush a lot. Well anyone calling me beautiful makes me blush.

"Dee. You just know the right things to say." I said as I wiped a fake tear. He chuckled.

"What was up with the commotion earlier?" He asked.

"Oh that." I said with an eye roll. "It was nothing." I said. He nodded understandingly, realizing I didn't want to talk about it. I then heard voices coming from the living room. The family must be back but with a new guest?

"Who's here?" I asked. Dee shrugged.

"I don't know must be someone close to the family." He said. I smelled the air to find that it was a scent of a human.

I knew almost everyone that was related to the Cullens since our parents told us about them but never have we been introduced to a mortal…well besides Bella's father and the Quileute's.

I began trotting slowly downstairs with Diego behind to take a look at who it was. Uncle Edward and Bella stood by the door as they chatted to the guest and invited them in. We then saw a woman we haven't seen enter the house. She looked beautiful for a mortal. Something about her reminded me so much of Aunt Bella, I always thought she looked so much like Charlie but this woman changed my mind. I don't know maybe a mixture of both?

"Please Renee come in." Edward said.

She must be Renesmee's grandmother because I put the pieces together realizing her name was a part of hers.

I guess this wasn't my place to be right now. I thought to myself and got up from the stair.

"Well I guess I better get going." I told Dee.

"And you gotta go," He said sadly. I smiled and gave him a light punch on the shoulder.

"See ya later Danger Dee," I said. He smiled back. Diego was the only person who made me happy in situations like this.

I walked slowly down the stairs and out of the house.

Next pit stop was to Brody's party.

… …

Renesmee

Laura and I were continuing our little conversation in my room as we looked through our yearbook photos and scrapbooks after my talk with my mother. I learned that it wasn't me who she was upset about. It was just the fact that I was growing up way too fast for her and she couldn't keep up. She doesn't want to refer to me as her little nudger anymore but I assured her that I'd always be, forever and always.

"Dylan looked funny in this picture." I said showing her the picture of our very own geek. Laura laughed.

"I'll miss him. I hear his currently studying at Princeton," She told me. I smiled.

"I bet he'll be some technical geek in the Google world." I said. She nodded as she paged through her book. "Hey I was wondering if you asked your parents yet about the whole 'werewolf hunter' thing."

"I couldn't do that yet, I mean I don't know why I can't just walk up to them but what if they'll ask who I got the information from and that would lead to me telling your secret and I don't plan on doing that." She said. I nodded.

"Yeah, you're probably right."

"Hey, is it crazy if I told you I feel bad things happening before they happen?" She asked. I frowned.

"Well no. Why?"

"I don't know, like when I told you about my sister's life being in danger almost four years ago, I kind of knew she was going to die."

"And what are you feeling now?" I asked. I knew it was hard for her to talk about her sister's death. Christie was one important person in her life.

"I feel like I'm standing in mud whole of danger." She whispered lowly. I frowned. Did that mean she was psychic?

"You're scaring me Laur,"

"It's probably nothing." She said.

The knock on my door was brought to our attention. I immediately got off my bed to open the door to see Jennifer standing by the door. I gave her a bright grin as I pulled her into a hug.

"Hey, didn't know you got in." I said to her as I invited her in.

"Yeah, I just flew by in. Hope you didn't mind." She said giving Laura a slight wave of the hand. Laura smiled back but it seemed to be forced.

"Not at all, Laura and I are just busy scrolling through our yearbook photos." I said as I sat back onto the bed and she sat on the chair. "What's up?"

"Well I just wanted to tell you that Nahuel and I are going back to Brazil now."

My eyes widened.

"Already?" I questioned. She nodded sadly. "Wow, well it was great having you here,"

"It was great being here and meeting your wonderful family Ness." She said. I smiled. "You two Laura," She said to her.

"The feelings mutual," She replied. Jennifer nodded understandingly. I glared back at Laura and she shrugged.

"Where's Nahuel by the way?" I asked.

"Oh, he's just saying goodbye to Leah but he was gone for like three and a half hours."

"Well that must be one special goodbye." I said with a low snigger. She laughed and nodded knowingly.

"Well I guess I better be off, thinking of taking the window because I'd like to hunt first."

"Wait. Before you go," I said and got off the bed to check in my cupboards and pulled out a patterned envelope and handing it over to her. "Here,"

"What's this?" She asked.

"It's the invitation to my wedding. I want you, Nahuel, and Huilen to be there. It will make one happy bride if you were." I said. She smiled.

"Thanks. We wouldn't miss it for the world." She said pulling me into a hug. "Good luck at the altar by the way." She said on my shoulder.

"I'll need it." I replied with a chuckle.

We smiled at each other as we pulled apart for her to leave. She was stopped at the window by Laura.

"Jennifer, wait!" Laura called out. "I'm sorry for the way I've been treating you it's just-"

"You're afraid I'd steal your boyfriend from you, I get it. But you have to realize that that boy loves you to pieces, he talks about you all the time so if you're having doubts than I suggest you don't. That boy's a keeper."

Laura was left speechless by this, I'm sure she had a sense of assurance by this.

"Bye," Jennifer said with a warm smile before heading out of the window.

I think that was a start of one beautiful friendship with Jennifer.

"Wow," Laura said finally.

"That's what you get for judging too quickly." I laughed. She rolled her eyes and threw a pillow at me. I gasped and threw it back and it soon became a pillow fight.

It was stopped when my vampire senses kicked in when I heard the voices of someone unfamiliar. I frowned. We had a guest?

I tried smelling the scent of the person to realize it was almost familiar to my mothers. Who could it be?

Renesmee, listen to me carefully, I'm in contact with your brother right now in order to project this thought. You and Laura should come down exactly when I tell you to, your brother and Jake will be with you now understood? He said. I frowned but obliged.

Something serious is about to happen today…

… …

Carmen

Brody's Black Light Party

I finally reached Brody's house which was like a ten minute walk from mine. He had a smallish kind of hall in his backyard which his father uses to use for surfing equipments and garage sales but left it open. When I entered through the door, I was completely shocked. I watched as the upbeat music I heard from outside got even louder and bright colors everywhere. It was completely blinding, neon lights placed on every corner of the room and the disco in the ceiling only making it brighter. I also watched as shirtless guys and girls completely covered in colorful paint on their bodies. Let's just say it was really colorful.

"Cary!" Jamie exclaimed as she came over to me with a can of Sprite in her hands. "So glad you made it girl!" she said giving me a hug. I snickered.

"This party is crazy!" I said.

"What?" She shouted back. I laughed.

"Are you sure your parents are fine with this?" I asked my friend. Who should've been studying for her history exam tomorrow? I'm guessing.

"Oh Brody set this up! So if they find out it's his head!"

I laughed.

"Where is he anyway?" I blurted out. "I mean, not that I care what! You're crazy!" I laughed awkwardly.

"Don't worry Cary, I won't tell him you still care about him." She laughed. Jamie was okay with my relationship with her brother, I mean not at first but she was.

"Hey Jamie, would you want to dance?" Joey, Jamie's crush came up to us.

"Would I?" Jamie exclaimed.

"I'll meet you guys later, I'm just going to the restroom." I told them. Jamie nodded as she walked away with Joey as they danced freakily together. I laughed as I walked to their restroom.

After doing my business, I washed my hands and stared myself in the mirror. Wow I looked good today.

I couldn't help but feel a sense of danger soaking up in me. Like something bad was going to happen.

The moment I felt air breeze passed me freaked me out completely. I realized maybe I was being delusional as I wiped my hands. When I decided I'd take a quick peek at myself in the mirror, I saw a scary looking zombie ghost looking creature –with blood dripping off his open tongue and fangs sticking out– standing behind me. I realized a piercing scream.

He snickered. I rolled my eyes.

"I scared you huh." Brody said taking the mask off and showing it to me. "Not as good as the real ones,"

Brody always believed that zombies existed but I'd always tell him that none of those things ever existed and that he'd never find proof of a supernatural being, unless he met an alien.

"Or as lethal!" I replied with an eye roll.

"Okay, sure, I deserved that, I deserve basically everything you say about me and how much you hate me for not talking to you but… but you know I was pretty instrumental in throwing this up." He said motioning to the party commotion.

"You set up all of this for me?" I asked. He nodded with his extremely good looking smile. I couldn't help but stare down at him to see he was shirtless. Holy molly!

"Yeah what do you think?"

"If I wanted to go to a rave, I'd get on a time machine and go back to the 80s!" I said to him and patted his chest before heading out of the restroom. He groaned but I was careful enough to sway my hips invitingly so he knew I was messing with him.

I finally made myself through the crazy crowd but was stopped when Brody stood in front of me.

"Oh I see what you're doing,"

"And what would that be exactly?" I asked, crossing my arms together.

"You're playing with me aren't you?"

"And what's that supposed to mean?" I asked with a laugh. Oh Brody knows me too well.

"You're mad aren't you?"

"I'm not mad!" I exclaimed.

"No?" He asked.

"No," I stated. He nodded. "Just a little frustrated,

"Sexually?" he asked.

I blushed scarlet red and tilted my head up to stare at him in the eyes but only to see him looking the other way even though he knew I was staring at him. I decided to walk over to the person involved of painting the people and asked for a paint brush. I then walked back to where Brody was standing and pulled my shirt off only leaving me in just a bra and jeans on.

"So, do you want to stand there obliviously or do you want to paint my body?" I asked him. His eyes widened for a second as he saw me but soon controlled his composure.

"I wanna paint your body." He said. I smiled and handed him the brush and he began painting all over me.

Brody and I danced for about an hour or so and kissed –a lot– after he painted me.

We swayed together even though there was no slow song but it was still as sweet as ever. I decided to move my hands that were on his chest up to his neck and the back of his head just assessing his unique humanly beauty. I smiled as I reached his eyes and got on my tiptoe to crush my lips onto the side of his neck and gave it a little lick. He moaned lowly and moved his mouth to the side of my neck as he began nibbling on it. I couldn't help the unexpected moan come out of my mouth as I felt his warm tongue dance around my skin.

It's affirmed that Brody and I's relationship is very intimate. I know it's wrong but we can't exactly keep it in. We just love each other so much that we would do anything and everything for each other's needs. Not that I gave up my innocence or anything I mean, I'm only 15/4 years after all.

The sensation of his tongue dancing on my skin stopped when I caught the sight of a figure standing about 18 feet away from us. It wore a dark black cloak around its shoulder almost covering its dark metallic shiny armor and it had a mask on. It stared at me deep in the eyes and I was shocked to see its eyes flash red.

"Carmen?" Brody asked in concern. I moved my eyes to the other side of me to see the same figure standing also about 18 feet away from me. I stared at my left to see the same exact thing!

My head was going crazy and I was becoming dizzy. I didn't even acknowledge the words said by Brody.

"Are you okay?" "What's wrong?"

"I-I think I need to get some air." I said as I walked out of the party. I gasped when I reached the back door.

"Whoa Cary, were you okay back there? You kind of blacked out." He said.

"I-I'm okay I just…needed some air." I told him. He didn't look convinced. "I'm fine beau, its okay."

It must've been something stupid really.

He nodded and walked up to me. We took a seat on the log.

"You've got some paint on you," I told him as I motioned to his cheek. He laughed as he tried wiping it away but nothing smudged away. "Still there,"

"Damn it!" He laughed.

"Uh, let me." I told him as I used my thump to wipe it away. I accidently scratched his cheek with my nail. "Sorry," I snickered. He just shook his head as he stared at me in the eyes. I soon met his eyes completely and leaned in for a kiss but he backed away as he saw something from behind me. I frowned.

"What?" I asked. I followed his gaze to see the figure standing right in front of us. Brody and I screamed loudly as we tried back away but the last thing I could hear was Brody's voice asking if I was okay when gas covered me and rendered me unconscious…

… …

Bella

I couldn't believe my mother was here! I mean sure, it was incredibly great to see her here back with us but at short notice?

"Well aren't you guys happy to see?" She asked us.

"Mom, of course we're happy to see you it's just we're a little surprised." I told her as we walked into the living room.

"Please Renee, come in and feel at home." My husband insisted. Renee smiled at him as she took a seat on the couch.

She shouldn't have come at this time Edward! What are we going to do? I asked him as I released my shield so he could read my mind. He gave me a weak smile as he put his arm around my waist. Oh no! I didn't put my contacts on! She's notice a lot of difference of me and the eyes would surely freak her out more! Today was not my ideal to act human and lie to another family member. My husband walked up to me and gave me a reassuring squeeze of the hand.

"It's been like forever since I've seen you two, what has it been like? 8 years? And I have to say that you've changed a lot Bella, your skin is paler and you're more radiant now. I'm starting to think your turning into one of the Cullens."

"Mom, it's because I am a Cullen now." I laughed. She smiled back.

"Oh right. Totally forgot. Old age is creeping up on me." She said. "Gosh you guys haven't changed these past few years? Bella you're still as beautiful and Edward you are just like the handsome 18 year old I left behind all them years ago."

"Well I believe I was 18 and I half Mrs. Dwyer."

"Oh right and son, if I told you once I've told you a million times…Don't call me by my last name or we'll have a problem." She playfully scolded him moving her index finger in motion. We both chuckled.

"How did you get here mom?"

"Well my workplace decided to give me Vacation air line ticket to Seattle since my pension is around the corner and also since I've been working with them for almost 15 years. It was just a little something to commemorate my good loyalty to them so I decided 'why not go visit the Cullens'. And here I am."

"Oh that was really generous of them. We were actually meaning to go to Florida sometime next month to surprise you with a visit but I guess you turned the clock on us." Edward said with a light laugh.

"Yeah, Edward and I really wanted to visit you and Phil mom."

"Oh I'm sure you did." She teased. I rolled my eyes. Edward informed that he was heading to the bathroom but I knew that he was getting the kids ready and probably telling them that their surprise visit was their grandmother.

"Oh how's Phil?" I asked.

"He's good. He decided to retire from his job to coach baseball kids at the school and I just left him to chaperone a road trip to the Grand Canyon for a drive around." She told us.

"Oh that's really good for him. I'm guessing you guys are good too," I told my mom. She smiled back.

"But tell me about yourselves, anything knew? I mean, it's been eight years I'm sure there has to be new interesting things happening in your lives."

By now Edward was back from talking to the kids and we were both sitting in the living room trying to figure out what to say.

"Well we graduated from Dartmouth and I got my degree in English Literature whilst Edward over here got his degree in medical." I said. It wasn't a complete lie. Edward and I have been taking online classes for the past years and got our degrees. Edward occasionally worked with Carlisle coming up with possible ideas for medication and he'd always cover up for someone at the hospital. But with me, well I haven't exactly had the time to find a job.

"Still working on my honors," He said with a light grin. Renee nodded approvingly.

"That's good son, very important to work hard, the opportunities might not be there in the future." She said with a warm smile. We smiled back at her. "But I'm sure that's not entirely it."

She wants to know more about our lives. I should've known. Now I know where I get my 'stubborn-bility' from.

"Renee, it's good to have you with us." Carlisle said as he and Esme entered the room, saving us from possible doom.

"Carlisle and Esme, it's great to finally see you again. I've been wondering why it's so quiet here, I was half expecting Emmett to popup out of nowhere," She sniggered. We laughed in return.

"The rest of the family is busy with other inactions." Esme said with a small smile. She nodded.

"Okay Bella, I know what you're doing. You're trying to get out of this, but you're not getting out of this one today."

"Um…" Should we just tell her the truth? I mean not the fact we're vampires but that we have children? I have no idea at this point… I thought to Edward.

He gave me a small smile and a squeeze of the hand and looked up at Carlisle and he gave him a nod.

"Renee. What we're about to tell you is something that may or may not be hard for you to take it and not believe. But please try to stay open minded would you? It's just to give us a sense of assurance that you understand the situation and why we had to do that." He poured out. Renee looked reluctant as first as she frowned at both Edward and I. I didn't know what he was doing.

What are you doing? I asked him.

"She's questioning her beliefs. She's known that there was something about us and a lot different about you the first time she saw you. She knows but doesn't want to admit it to herself yet." He whispered.

"What's going on?" Renee asked.

"I'm sure you've heard of supernatural creatures' right?" Edward asked her. She nodded.

"Yes. Like werewolves, mermaids, wizards, witches, griffins, goblins, ghosts, zombies' right?" She asked. Edward and Carlisle nodded.

"Well what if we told you that they could very well exist?" Carlisle asked.

"Are you trying to give me a confuse me guys?" She asked. We shook our heads.

"We just want to make you understand," Edward said. "Yes. What you're thinking of us is quite correct, we are what you think." He added. Her eyes widened. "And to answer your next question: Yes. I just read your mind."

"Okay hold up. This is so crazy!" She said as she stood up from her seat.

"I know it's hard to comprehend but it is true. Not entirely in your imagination but it is true."

"We can't give you the full extent of the story because it could only bring you into great danger. Our world isn't safe for humans."

"But Bella's a human?" She said staring at me like I just lied to her face. I hid away from her gaze. "Oh right." She said realizing now.

She just realized that I was turned into a vampire and if she knew that vampires existed, that would either mean her death or her being turned into a vampire herself, unless we kept as much of the truth from her.

Her next question shocked us all…

"So, I'm guessing you don't have kids right?" She asked. I stared up at my husband whom looked down at me and gave me a small smile.

"Not exactly…" I began.

"Renesmee and Jason, come down." Edward said in as normal as speaking to a person who was only 30 centimeters away from you.

Renesmee and Jason came walking down slowly from upstairs. They came walking to us, Renesmee's arm around Jason's and both Laura and Jacob right behind them. Jacob and Renesmee gave us a small smile until they met Renee's eyes. She stared at both of them in astonishment. She saw exactly what she expect but a little less then she bargained for. She saw Renesmee's similarities to Edward, with her long bronze hair, high cheekbones, perfect eyebrows, straight nose, strong jaw line and his full lips and to me her chocolate brown eyes.

Whilst when she saw Jason, she saw me in him. His wavy light brown hair, soft cheeks, and smooth lips but he also inherited a lot from Edward, like his tallness, body structure and his amber-brown eyes almost making it seem as if they were green.

She looked a little light-headed as she began collapsing to the ground but composed herself.

"So the-these are you-your …children?" She stammered out. Edward and I nodded.

"I know it's kind of hard to believe but you can see it in their flesh. They're our children." Edward said with a smile as he turned to our kids. She still looked confused.

"Very well…um…I do see that, one looks exactly like you Edward and the other like you Bella but…you're only 27 and those two look like 17-19 year olds. You were not pregnant at 8…um...Bella?"

"I'm sorry for not telling you sooner, I know it's completely hard to believe but these are our children. You can see the flesh and blood on the cheeks, our eyes. They're our children-"

"Sorry honey. May you shut up for a moment?" She asked as she began walking up our kids. She looked them deep in the eyes as she moved around and their eyes followed her. She gasped. "What are your names?"

"Renesmee,"

"Jason." They both said to her.

"I can't believe I missed their births!" She gasped out, totally forgetting and not realizing that her supposed grandchildren are teenagers instead of toddlers. "Have you got them on tape?" She asked.

"I'd prefer you don't watch them."

She nodded understandingly and turned back to face them.

"Amazing," She laughed. "I'm Renee but you can call me-"

"Grandma" Renesmee said with a smile. Renee was now currently flooding with tears of joy that she just leaned in to give them both hugs. I couldn't help but also get emotional as I watched this sight. I get to watch my own mother interact with my children. What I've been dreaming of for the past seven years!

"Mom, we'd also like you to meet the special people in our children's lives. Jacob and Laura," I said to my mother as I motioned to the two who were standing by the wall. Jake gave a slight wave and Laura a small smile. Well they were shy today.

"Oh Jacob, Billy's son right?" asked Renee. I nodded.

"How did you know?" I asked.

"Well just because your dad and I are divorced doesn't mean we never kept in contact with each other."

I laughed at her statement. She then walked up to them. "Please sit down children." She insisted. They smiled at her and they all took their seats. Renesmee on Jacob's lap on the one arm chair and Laura and Jason sitting next to each other with their hands interlocked. Renee held her hands to her eyes.

"Oh I'm going to cry." She said. We sniggered and I got up and handed her a napkin and rubbed her smoothly on the arms. She flinched at my cold touch but didn't acknowledge it.

"This is really a family." She said.

Esme announced that she was preparing dinner for us. It was getting quite dark now. We were all in the dining area giving Renee all the details and letting her catch up on all the things she's missed.

"So they all graduated?" She asked. I nodded.

"Yeah, we haven't fully decided on going to college yet, we just want a break from school now." Jason said.

"And I'd like to just go off on my own for a while. Probably travel the world or something." She said smiling at Jacob who she sat next to. Renee couldn't help but look disapproving of their relationship. I mean, Jacob didn't look like the rest of the kids.

He looked about 27 and how ironic is his almost to that age. She was already looking out for her granddaughter but what she didn't know is Renesmee and Jacob were soul mate already, bound to be together. I guess we'll explain the imprinting later or I also guess we need to tell her about werewolves before that. Ugh!

"Oh well. I hope you guys get the best out of it." She said with a smile. "I couldn't help but see things from your wedding as I came here. Are you renewing your vows?" She asked us.

"Not exactly, well not at all actually but you're right about the marriage thing." I began. "My daughter Renesmee and Jake are getting married."

"I'm sorry what?" She asked.

"Renesmee's the one getting married."

"But-but-"

"I know. She's very young to get married. Even Edward had a hard time dealing with it."

"Still am." He said. I smiled.

"But you have to understand that this man right here." I said motioning to Jake. "I couldn't ask for a better man to have our daughters hand in marriage because I know they're right for each other, just like Edward and I maybe even more but I do believe it'll work out. Mother's instinct told me from the beginning when they first met." I assured her. She nodded understandingly.

"And we were wondering if you could make it?" Renesmee said to her as she and Jake shared a bowl of salad.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world. And it wasn't like I was leaving anyway," She sniggered. I smiled. "When is the wedding?"

"In less than 10 days." I said. Her eyes widened.

"Well pucker me up because I think I need to get a thousand boxes of tissues," I said. The entire table laughed, even the shy Laura.

It was so great having my mother with us again…

Laura's facial expression changed our moods immediately.

"Laura what's wrong?" Jason asked his girlfriend.

"Something happened to Carmen," She stated. Wait what?

"Who's Carmen?" Renee asked.

"What's wrong with Carmen?"

"How would you know something's wrong?" Renesmee asked.

"Because I feel it as well…" Alice said as she came into view.

… …

Carmen

I finally woke up from my unconscious state to see myself tied up on a chair and to what looked like an underground lair. It was dark and dusty. I couldn't stand to be here.

"Let me out of here!" I screamed out.

"Oh no, that won't do," A voice vaporized around the room. It was dull and raspy almost as if zombies' existed.

"What do you want from me?" I cried out.

"We want to find the wailing woman,"

"I don't know what you're talking about!" I sobbed as I tried ripping through the tight ropes. I knew they used some kind of trick to it because I couldn't use my vampire strength.

I then heard whispers of voices coming from every angle of the room. They soon became louder and more frequent and rapid that I just closed my eyes shut thinking that this was all just a dream.

The voices ended when I realized that the hold of the grips got tighter.

"Who are you?" I said light-headedly. They didn't answer all I saw was darkness. Then a hum of a song and someone singing brought me back to my senses.

Something strange in the neighborhood

Bringing back what was once lost

Care givers and peaceful raffle deities

Never to be found

But the wail of the Banshee is always loud

Finding its way, in seeking out the supernatural

But leaving its bay is always unnatural

Unless it lies beneath the chosen one,

"Do you hear that Carmen?" The voice returned. "We want you! You! You!" it uttered out repeatedly.

"What do you want from me?" I replied.

"We want you to scream!"

I then felt a huge garret reach my neck and twisted slightly. I released a piercing scream as I was being strangled…

A/N: I know, drama before the wedding. But as Edward quoted, "What's a wedding without some family drama?" I hoped you all loved Carmen's POV. I know I've been getting a lot of asks on when I'd update her POV. Oh and you'll be seeing more of Brody in the next couple of chapters.

New Dawn and Childhood Beginnings might be updated soon. And The Story of Renesmee Masen will definitely be updated during the week so check it out!
