Cynthia: Welp, I'm officially out of chapters ready to post. Happy holidays.

Geometry in itself came and went uneventfully. The teacher, Mrs. Euler, passed out a calendar to the class with everything for the next nine months scheduled. She explained class expectations and yadda yadda yadda…

The REAL interesting things were all the people that didn't recognize me. It was absolutely eerie to sit right next to someone who was in my elementary school without him giving me a second glance, I ponder as I head clear across the school to room 264 for English II, I wonder if this is how Syaoran feels… After double-checking the room number, I walk into the classroom.

A younger man leans over the teacher's desk on the opposite side of the room near some windows overlooking the courtyard. He smiles and gives me the new-kid speech that could have been summarized by just saying, "my name is Mr. Chook. Students call me Mr. C. Sit in a random desk because I'll just move you later."

I follow his instructions. Supporting myself with an elbow, I watch the hallway.

Moments later, Satoshi stops in front of the door. Seeing me, he blinks and rechecks the room number. He walks in and is greeted by Mr. C the same way I was. 'I don't suppose fate is on my side today,' he comments casually as he finds a seat on the other side of the classroom. Satoshi sets his shoulder bag on the floor beside his desk before producing a book from a pocket. He opens the book and glances at the pages.

Taking his lead, I look out a window. 'So what do you have first period?'

'AP English Literature A,' he replies coolly. Satoshi's icy regard surprises me.

'Sup' with you?' I ask. 'What?' I add lightheartedly, 'are you jealous that I was with Daisuke or something?'

'… No.'

'Oh.' I blink with realization. 'Is this about taking an AP class? If it is, I'll spare you the rant and say I agreed with the others about your classes.'

Satoshi isn't given a chance to respond before Mr. C starts class.

-Later-

Satoshi left before I could talk to him, so I headed back to the other side of the school for Chemistry.

I glance at the room number. 202. I'd swear the people who write these schedules try to make the classes as far away as possible. A spot of red catches my eye. "Oh, hey Daisuke."

The really redhead smiles. "Hello Silvia." Daisuke checks his schedule paper. "Is this Mrs. Delvy's Chemistry classroom?"

"I think so," I reply, "do you have Chem this period too?"

"Ya' I guess we're in the same class then!"

-Later-

Chem was fun. Mrs. Delvy was very nice and it was fun to sit next to Daisuke. After four days of only having Satoshi to talk to, it felt great to talk with someone. Next was Art Fundamentals. At least one of my friends from home is in my period. I'm still mad at Satoshi for making me take it, but after thinking about Satoshi's mood in English, I guess that means we're even.

Or he was just back to his normal self, I contemplate as I wait in the lunch line.

* Arg… * Solstice growls.

I blink. * Oh, hi Solstice, you've been quiet, what's up? *

* Lunch lines… *

I start to laugh but stop when some onlookers look at me strange. * What about them? You hate waiting? *

* Of course. We're obviously stronger than any of these feeble humans; we should get served first. *

* Sometimes I want to agree with you… * I admit while I try to peer over the crowd on the tips of my toes. A tuff of red catches my eye. Oh? "Daisuke!"

Daisuke turns around and spots me. He disappears into the crowd for a second before emerging next to me with a grin. "I glad you're here; I haven't meant many other people yet."

"Ya', same here."

'I'm glad you two are getting along,' Satoshi says blandly.

I turn around in surprise.

Satoshi easily descents the entry steps with his eyes closed. He wears a calm expression, yet a feeling of irritation emits from him. 'Because I'm getting sick of this.'

I'm about to ask him what when a small gaggle of girls come into my view behind him. I smirk. 'Dang, you're getting everyone but me,' I snicker.

"What?" Daisuke asks me in confusion. He's slightly too short to see over the crowd.

I laugh, "some kid is being stalked by girls."

"Oh. … Does that happen often here?" he adds timidly.

I stifle a laugh. Daisuke's so bashful. Dark must be dying of laughter. "More often than you'd think."

As if in confirmation of my thoughts, Daisuke starts blushing horribly.

The crowd parts slightly as Satoshi gets in line and leans against a wall.

"Hi-Hikari-kun…?!" Daisuke stutters.

"Niwa-kun," Satoshi replies coolly. He opens his eyes and smirks with victory.

Solstice: Ooohhh! Surprise! Busted!

Dinoval: A bit of a note, by my plot line, Satoshi retook his old last name after The Black Wings incident.

Cynthia: I might post a Christmas chapter tomorrow, we'll see. Of course that means a temporary huge time skip.
