Chapter 21
Tori's P.O.V.
I rolled over to get into a comfortable position, reaching around for Luke. I felt nothing, but the coldness under my fingertips before I pushed myself up. The other side of was cold meaning Luke has been gone for a while. I push myself up, rubbing my arms trying to get rid of the goosebumps before grabbing my shirt and slipping it on. I walked around the room looking for any clues to figure out where Luke went before I noticed something blocking the sunlight from breaking through the window.
It was a sheet of line paper, with nothing on it. I pulled the paper off to get a look outside before finding something I never wanted to see again. I pulled down the binds, picking up all my clothes and shoving them in with my other stuff. I quickly showered, fuming over a reason why he would do that.
'Why would he do that? An act? A plan for Amelie? Why?'
I couldn't keep doing this. I finished as quickly as possible. When I get away I'm going to burn everything of his. Every single thing.
Mark my words Lucas Black, because two can play your game and I'm more than willing. I checked out from the hotel and jogged outside.
I walked by them watching as he paid no attention to me, only to the girl he was with. I purposely shoved them before getting into my taxi. I sat down giving the man directions to my house and turned towards the window, watching him.
He had finally turned to face me and was staring at me with pure hatred, I imagined my eyes mirrored his expression. We held eye contact before turning back to the girl, pressing a kiss on her lips, staring at me the whole time.
He really did have the nerve to do that. I spun back around and stopped paying attention to the real world, getting lost in my sea of thoughts with one question on my mind.
'Was it all a lie?'
