As they landed to the ground they looked at each others eyes, "W-We should get going. . P-Phantom." His smiled at her full of joy and life, "Let's keep going we have to get out of here!"

Mercedes nodded her head, "Right, we should should be careful I sense someone coming closer." Phantom grabbed her hand and pulled her next to him, "We can't be to careless." She blushed as they walked down with not many worries, until they heard the screams of fighting. That's when they remembered they were in the middle of hell.

Phantom looked all around the room and started to run with his hand on Mercedes. "Phantom, what's wrong?!" Phantom looked back and kept running forward. Mercedes about to look back then Phantom yelled at her, "DON'T LOOK!" Mercedes eyes looked back, Phantom kept running his speed was increasing that Mercedes couldn't follow.

"Phantom. . . I'm still to weak, please slow down!" Phantom didn't listen and quicken his speed, Mercedes was suddenly pulled by her leg. "P-Phantom?" He just kept running, she tried again "P-Phantom!" Nothing but speed and the wind in their way, "PHANTOM!" Suddenly Phantom finally looked back, something was grabbing Mercedes leg and it wouldn't let go.

The mysterious looking tentacle leaded a trail down the hall they were running, Phantom took out a card and cut the object at Mercedes leg. Suddenly a hiss came out of the surprisingly silent palace.

"P-Phantom?" Phantom put himself in front of Mercedes, protecting her at any costs. Suddenly again something wrapped around Mercedes but this time the waist.

"PHANTOM!" Phantom turned around and Mercedes was being dragged away from Phantom's side. Phantom tried and reach for her but she was pulled back faster than his speed. "MERCEDES!" Mercedes screamed and all that was heard was her body being dragged away and Phantom's steps running after her.

Phantom passed through a door and say Mercedes laying there with the rest of the heroes. "MERCEDES!" Her eyes shoot open and screamed, "STAY BACK PHANTOM THE-" A tentacle covered her mouth and kept her silent.

"WHO DARES TAKE MY MERCEDES!" The door slammed behind Phantom, he looked back at door. "This doesn't scare me!" Mercedes saw something creep next to Phantom's leg, she started to shake out of the grip of the tentacle. Phantom looked at Mercedes, "Shh it'll be fine don't worry."

As Mercedes tried to get out of the grip, the tentacle attacked Phantoms and hit him in the chest. Her eyes widen, she muffled her screams. Phantom eyes fell blank and he fell forward to the hard ground.

The tentacle shivered away from Phantom and Mercedes mouth, Mercedes ran to him and looked at his wounds."Phantom?" Nothing.

"Phantom. . .common please wake up we're almost out" His torn lips kept shut, Mercedes looked all around her. Bodies all around her, Mercedes couldn't cry she lost her tears when she was tortured no matter how much she wanted to knew that they all lost there battles, all of them.

"A-Aran?" Nothing but her blood flowing out of her body. "Evan?" Only silance from him. "Luminous?" His eyes were open but he wasn't responding. Her words got caught up in her throat.

"A-Anyone?" The palace was filled with nothing but her sorry screams. A sudden voice answered, "Oh look at the poor queen. Can I kill her now?" Mercedes turned to see the four that hurt her friends, she quickly shuffled back. Lotus walked closer to her, "Come now I want to see you with me again." She started to shake in fear and kept moving back.

Then she felt something in her hands, she looked at them and almost shirked. Blood from Phantom was in her hands, she looked at his body, and covered her mouth. Then Orchid pulled her hair, "Now now I'll finish him off and you stay and watch as I kill lover boy here." Mercedes tried to get free," Please stop I'll do anything. . . just stop this."

Orchid threw Mercedes back, Mercedes looked at Orchid. "Sorry but not this time, we don't need this guy he just causes trouble." Orchid took Aran's weapon and hovered it over Phantom. Mercedes screamed while Lotus holded her back. "Goodbye Phantom!" A sudden power hit Orchid to the wall, Lotus looked at Mercedes looking down. He pulled her back and her eyes were glowing white, "Aran. . .Evan. . .Luminous. . . Phantom!"

Power generated to her from the bodies of her friends, her wings were forced out of her back. Her bows formed at her hands, her eyes glowed completely dark blue, her purple dress turned into a a long blue over coat with purple shirt and black pants. "Take one more look around cause here is where you all DIE!

"Which one of you idiots did this to Phantom?" They all looked at each other and smirked. They all said at the same time, "The Black Mage!" Mercedes looked wide eyed, she then narrowed her eyes and then she attacked Lotus. She whispered in his ear, "You wanted me now you got me." She stabbed him with one arrow in his chest.

Blood spattered all over her face giving it a killing sensation drowned her. Orchids eyes widen at the site of her brother dying in front of his own eyes, tears formed in her purple ords. Orchid pounced at Mercedes, "ORCHID DON'T!" Screamed Anilla of the top of her lungs, it was to late. Mercedes had went in extreme speed, by Phantoms power, and grabbed Phantoms' cane and hit Orchid in the head with it.

Both were frozen in place, Mercedes flashed for a second and then appeared next to Athena. Athena was wide eyed and looked at her sister, "Mer-" She was cut off by Mercedes plunging her arm through her chest, blood slipped down the mouth of Athena. 'Good-bye little sister. . . I tried so hard to save you."

Mercedes smirked, "But now you won't be a pain to me anymore, you deserve what you got." Anilla had her eyes widen, "S-Strength of A-Aran. . .Intelligence of E-Evan. . . Judgement of L-Luminous. . . S-Speed of P-Phantom. . . and Pureness of Mercedes." Mercedes turned around, "Oh how correct you are my dear. Our most powerful skills make a 'Truth' and my mind well,I lost all of my pureness and that's just how pissed off you got me!"

Anilla try to run but Mercedes speed was to fast, "Oh you are the one that's gonna die slowly." Mercedes slammed her against the wall taking Anilla's breath out of her lungs.

She took out one arrow and lightly pressed it against her heart, although it didn't go through yet. "You feel the pain. . . the same pain you gave me. Oh now I see why you tortured me."

Anilla gasped in the pain, trying to keep in her screams. Mercedes pushed the arrow further to her chest, finally a scream happened, "Enjoy the last second you have. . .bye bye."

Mercedes pierced the arrow through Anilla, blood flowed out of her mouth. As Mercedes coldly let her body drop to the floor, a shadow creep up to her. Swiftly she turned around and smirked, "Hello Black Mage. . . I was wondering when you were going to show up. It about time."

The Black Mage's orange flame eyes narrowed at Mercedes, "Fool. . . my darkness will consume the pureness out of you." Mercedes chuckled, "One I have Luminous power so I doubt that. Two the pureness was far gone when you attacked my love."

Mercedes kicked him and it threw him hard against the wall hard. The wind escaped his lungs, "Fool. . . If they could not kill someone as simple as you then I shall!"

Mercedes stepped back, "Lets get started shall we!" Mercedes pounced at the Black Mage this is where it all rested to her faith.
