As the final Eridium pipe was destroyed the Loaders shut down and the tube holding Angel disappeared. She fell onto the base in a slump. Roland came up and checked her pulse.
"She's dead." he declared.
"What kind of man would use his own daughter." Lilith asked.
Raider looked to her as did Maya. Both of them knew the reason why, and she was part of it.
"The kind that needs to die." Roland said before turning to the others. "Jacks way got no way of charging the key, we can stop him..."
As he spoke Raider tried to move, but couldn't. Looking to the others it looked like they also tried to move but couldn't. The only explanation he could think of was a localised gravity field that only affected them and not Roland or Lilith. A loud bang made them look at Roland as a hole where his heart was appeared and Jack appeared before them.
"YOU BASTARD!" Lilith yelled as she tired to charge at him but he locked a collar around her neck before pulling her up.
"You know what they say, the most dangerous person alive is the one with nothing to lose. You have taken everything form me, now I'll destroy this world, Lilith kill them." he ordered.
"AHHHH NOOOO!" she yelled as her tattoos turned a pinkish red and suddenly the hunters where gone.
OOOOO Athenas
Ever since Maya had left the new High confessor wanted her back, or dead. Since that bandit made it clear that she was on Pandora and they where not going to get her as her powers just grew then he would kill the one she loved. Raider was worth a lot dead then alive, in front of the confessor was a man around 5,9. higher then the confessor who was 5,6.
The man wore digital camo similar to Dahl green camo. He also had Hyperion style armour but with dark green and a dirty yellow. His face had scars, a lot of scares. A bounty hunter, he was known for all his contracts completed.
"Your record seems… promising." the high confessor said.
"Of course it does you nut, now what do you want?" the bounty hunter asked.
The confessor slid over a wanted poster of a man with the rare unlimited reward. The hunter looked from the poster to the confessor.
"The monster of Arcadia, you want him dead."
"Yes, you see he has killed the previous high confessor and corrupted a child of our flock. We wish for him to be removed from this existence."
"You do know his reputation right? In the bounty hunter gilds, clans, families and groups all call him the 'survivor of hunters'. They all want a piece of him, he has sent them back in body bags with no identifications. He's the price every hunter and merc wants."
"So, you'll do it?" the confessor asked.
"Yes I will."
OOOOO Marcus' house Sanctuary.
The Vault hunters apered on top of each other with Krige on the bottom.
"Ugh what happened, and can fucks get off." Axton said.
After getting off each other they took a good look around.
"A lot of safes." Gaige quipped.
"Marcus munitions." Raider quipped pointing at an image of Marcus on the wall. "That guy has an ego bigger then the sun."
Non of them said anything as they looked at each other with knowing looks on each other's faces. Without another word they then began to ransack the apartment grabbing what money and weapons they could get their hands on. Once they where satisfied the seven then left the house and passed a disgruntled Marcus who was likely to charge them more for their next purchases. Reaching he base Mordecai and Brick looked at he map as the Hunters moved around the table.
"So Angel was a Siren?" Brick said. "Seems hard to believe."
"Same." was all Raider said.
"But now we have to stop him, if he wakens the Warrior then we're all dead. We need to find him." Axton said.
"The Info stockade, that's the best bet." Mordecai said.
"Agreed, but it's going to be tough." Gaige said. "The stockade is one of the most heavily defended areas on Pandora."
"We can always drop in." Maya suggested making Axton look to her.
He then looked down at the map. "Maya, I don't think you should go..." he said calmly as possible making all of them look at him.
"Why?" she asked.
"Yeah why?" Raider asked.
"Your pregnant." he said making everyone stare at him him with their jaw's almost hanging lose. "I learned from Zed when Raider left. Maya the reason why you've been felling off, is because you have a kid inside of you."
The Siren's hands moved to her belly as if to protect her child. All of the hunters looked at each other in a mixture of shock and disbelief. She looked down and took a deep breath.
"I'll be ok, in my research when a siren is pregnant the child is in no danger of being hurt until the sixth month. My powers will protect the child, unless I'm killed but my powers will be greater." she said.
Raider nodded. "Ok, as much as I hate to admit it she's right. Not to mention we need a siren against the warrior."
"Ok now with that out of the way, Raider you where a Hyperion employee for a good number of years what do you know?" Axton asked.
Raider took a deep breath and looked at the map.
"Well, I don't know where the warrior is like the rest of you so the stockade is the best bet but I need to operate the system. However there is going to be a problem, the bridge. It's a lift bridge so Jack can deny us entrance. We need explosives to take out the motors."
"Ahhh yes I know where we can get those." Brick said.
"Agreed but Maya, I would like to say this. I don't want you on this until we hit the warrior. Meditation would be a good idea."
Maya opened her mouth but closed it and nodded. "Yeah ok, meditation did help my powers."
"Plus you need to calm down this child will take a lot out of you. So take it easy." Raider said making her nod before the two kissed.
OOOOO about 5 years ago Hyperion station.
Dressed in a white shirt with yellow stripes down the sleeves and yellow trousers Alex jumped on top of one of the lost legion soldiers and shot him in the face killing him outright. He then stood as Jack entered.
"Jack?" he asked. "I thought you died."
"Alex?" Jack said. "Same here, but then again being from Arcadia I think that you can handle yourself… which you can." he stuttered seeing the dead bodies.
"Yeah well something you lean in a warzone. What are you doing here?"
"Well, I'm looking for a Vault. This is the best place to do it."
"A Vault? Humm." Raider walked up to a console and typed a few keys in. "I'll run a scan."
"Ok.. wait what? How can you do that? Your a low level employee."
"Well…." he said with a smile. "I may not be too much of a computer nut like you, however I did swipe the master code from the CEO. Thankfully it doesn't have a watermark and no one will notice."
"Oh ok."
Alex then stared at the screen. "Scan Inconclusive?"
"What? How can it be inconclusive?"
"Wait a sec." he typed in a few keys and fast. "That's the reason why, too much eridium, Vauts have an eridium presence but with the opening of the first vault. It's screwing up the sensors. That and possibly the…." Alex then cough a very throaty cough so much so that he turned and doubled over.
Jack moved up as he then noticed blood come out of his mouth, but looking at it he noticed a slight blue hue to it. The only thing that could do that was plasma radiation.
"Plasma radiation, it's not infectious is it?" he asked.
Alex looked up at him and gave a wary smile. "No it's not, but it takes yeas to kill."
"Listen I have a plan for Pandora I could use your help."
