A/N: Thanks to Death Princess for this one! Thanks for everyone's suggestions, and for keeping me on my feet! I'm sorry for this being sooo late. But I've been risking my grades with Fanfiction, so you guys had better make this worth neglecting my homework.
I feel like I've been neglecting my other stories, however... No matter! :D I can resolve that problem easily!
*Thalia*
I spotted a lone demigod, looking angry and very cold. 'Luke!' My mind screamed. I turned around, making sure none of the other hunters had seen him. Good. I ran from the tents, to Luke.
"Luke," I called quietly. "Luke!"
He looked up. I grinned, running faster. Luke started running towards me, smiling widely. We collided head- on, which hurt a lot. Luke picked me up and spun me around. I tried to keep my laughter to a minimum, as not to notify my fellow Huntresses of my circumstance.
"What are you doing here?" He asked. I frowned as he set me down. "The Hunter's camp is about a mile away. What are you doing here?" Luke scruffed his shoes against the snow, his hands moving into his pockets. "Nothing," he lied.
"Uh huh." I folded my arms. "What's the real reason?"
"I had to see you again." He said quietly.
"I'm sensing that there's something more to that statement, Luke."
"I'm risking our fates here, and you- you're just blowing me off!" He said angrily.
I shook my head. "Luke, no, that's not it."
"You know what? Maybe I should just leave. You won't listen to me anyways."
"Luke, please, don't go!" I begged. "I need you; you have no idea how much I missed you."
"You became a Hunter." He said darkly. "If you really loved me, you wouldn't have joined them. I thought you hated them, anyways."
"I did."
"Then why would you join them?"
I folded my arms. "You showed that you didn't care about us anymore. I saw it in your eyes when we fought, Luke, on Mount Tam. I saw the hatred."
"I don't hate you!" He shouted. "How could I hate you, Thalia? After everything we've been through, how can you say that?"
"You left Annabeth." I said, tears streaming down my face. "You said you'd always be there for her. You promised, Lukie."
"Come with me." He pleaded. "Please, Thals, come run away with me. We can be a family again."
I wanted to. I honestly did. But he broke my heart too many times already. He wasn't worth reliving all that pain. I shook my head. "I'm sorry, Luke. I can't." I turned around, holding my head high, and keeping my tears in. No more would I cry over this boy. No more.
This wasn't my best. But it wasn't my worst, either. And...I just had to put in "No more" (it's from Doctor Who). I hope all you Whovians out there caught it. ;) If you did...YOU'RE AWESOME! If you didn't...go watch the 50th Anniversary special.
Whoo! I finished two in less than a day! I'm so proud of myself!
Now, down to more pressing matters. Which should come next: Reyvian, Persephades, or another god x goddess? Or one from the books. If it's cannon, awesome! If not, that's cool too. Just NO SLASH.
Love ya! :3
