Korra and Jack returned to Republic city. She was excited and scared, but she knew that Jack was perfect for her. She refused to have anyone deny what they felt for each other. She was really just thinking about Mako. He was the jealous type. Even though they weren't together, Mako was a sweet talker. She refused to fall for him anymore.

"What are you thinking about?" Jack nudged her shoulder.

"Just" Korra paused. "Us."

"We are going to be great together."

Korra took Jack to Air Temple Island. He was so in aw and he hadn't even seen much of the city. It wasn't that his home wasn't nice, this was new.

"Korra!" Tenzin yelled. "You think can just run off and not discuss where you are going. And who is this?"

"Tenzin this is Jack. My boyfriend. I went to go get him to bring him back to Republic City."

"You ran off to get some boy. Can't you choose to be more serious about something else."

"I thought you'd be happy that I moved on pass Mako. You hate him and you know it. "

"I don't not. I just wish you would be responsible and listen to me when I ask you to do something. That is all." Tenzin stormed away.

"He seems nice." Jack said.

" You'd should see him on a good day."

The sun began to set and as Korra and Jack survived the young air benders and their intimidating parents, she couldn't help but be relieved. She went to bed a tad bit annoyed. Tenzin separated her and Jack into two different rooms. She tossed and turned before she finally got into a comfortable position to sleep. She drifted into a daze, but she wasn't yet asleep. A creep and a small thud startled her. A warm body pushed against her. It ran its fingers through her hair. It placed its warm lips to her neck. She moaned.

"I hate having to be twenty feet from." Jack whispered.

"It's doesn't have to stay this way ya know." Korra blushed a light pink.

"I want to be with you." He kissed her ear.

"Jack" she whispered. She heard a noise in the hall and they both froze. "I don't want Tenzin mad at me anymore."

" Don't change your mind. I promise, I will not make him mad at you anymore." He kissed her on her shoulder.

"Ok."

Korra woke up the next morning with a heaviness in her heart that she never had contained before. She felt off. Jack turned over in the bed. He was asleep and dreaming peacefully, but it really ticked her off. He was peaceful and she was off. She slipped from the bed with a blanket draped from her body. She stepped into the bathroom and splashed water in her face.

"What is this?"she groaned. Korra dressed herself and headed off with Naga. Just the thought of Jack upset her core. She was disturbed in a way that it couldn't be explained.

"Hey stranger." Mako said.

"You want something?" Korra sounded bitter.

"Well no."

"Then leave me alone."

"Hey Korra!" Mako grabbed her arm.

"What!"

"Let's talk."

Mako and Korra laid in the green grass of the park. She stared blankly at the sky.

"Have you ever done anything and then regretted it?" Korra closed her eyes.

"Yes, plenty of times. Why did you ask?"

"Well. I brought Jack back to the city. We spent last night together."

"And."

"We became very close."

"Oh!" Mako widen his eyes in surprise. "That's close. You barely know that guy."

"I know, but it felt right at the moment. He loves me and I want to make him happy."

"Korra! You did that!" Mako jumped up.

"I know, I now feel stupid."

"I don't trust him."

"You don't know him!"

"He sounds terrible. I think he's taking advantage of your because you are the avatar."

"He's not like that! He is a great-"

"Guy! Of course he would start off that way to draw you in!"

"You know what, talking to you is waste of time!" Korra stormed off.

"Don't say I didn't warn you."
