Sorry to make y'all wait. I really have no excuse other than my laziness. I'll try to update more often because i hate making you wait.

Here's chapter 21, enjoy!

Okay, so I lied about needing an army, whatever. What we really needed was a traitor, an ally on the inside. With Zak and his powers we could get exactly that so long as Fiskerton was there. I really hated having to do it to him, and I'm sure Zak hated just as much as I did, but we had a time limit and we didn't want to go through and army that would catch us as easily as fireflies.

"Is the stone really here?"

"That's what I want to know."

"You mean you don't know?" Zak snapped. I sighed. Of course I didn't know! I was doing this purely on faith alone.

"I got the information from a source that may or may not be leading us into a trap."

"Did you get it from Francis?"

"Nope."

"Then who?"

"Ackerson."

"Blair! Are you out of your mind?"

"Maybe…possibly… it's highly likely." Zak rolled his eyes. "It's our only option." I reminded

"What kind of deal did you make with him?"

"He wants to see us when we get the last fragment."

"And you said yes?"

"What was I suppose to say? Go to hell? We don't want jack from you? All of this is your fault and we'll do this without your help?"

"Yes!"

"Sorry to say this, Zak, but we have a time limit."

"You don't know that."

"Well, if you hadn't collapsed in the clearing yesterday and controlled me unknowingly, you might be able to convince me, but sadly that all happened. We don't know how much time is left on the timer, and I would rather not take my chances."

"Fine, I really hope you know what you're getting yourself into."

"Please, I never know what I'm getting myself into."

"Yes you do."

"You say that and yet the whole reason this started was because I was trying to help you reunite with Fisk. Next thing I know I'm floating over the amazon forest in a giant orange blimp."

"Okay, so maybe you don't know always know what you're getting yourself into, but you seem to have a better sense of it than I do."

"Yes, where would you be without me?"

"If I hadn't met you my parents probably would have sent me to high school."

"Ugh, high school. You are very welcome, Zak Saturday." We both laughed from our hiding spot behind the bush. We were back in Washington about a mile and a half north of the Saturday house. We seem to end up here quite a bit.

"So it any of this ever gets sorted out do you think your parents will ever trust me?"

"Absolutely not."

"Even if you explained that it wasn't my fault?"

"They wouldn't listen to reason. No way. I would have to sneak out to see you just like I have to sneak out to take Wadi on a date."

"What kind of dates do you and Wadi have?"

"Magical ones." He said completely serious as he stared straight into my eyes.

"Um… let's try that again."

"Its not your typical dinner and movie date if that's what you're wondering. I hold the world in the palm of my hand; I can take her anywhere so we go on the run for awhile. We went to England once and hitch hiked around the country. We lasted four weeks before my parents were able to find us."

"You are the reason people call teenagers rebellious."

"It was so worth it."

"It sounds fun."

"If you ever convince Francis to backpack around any country, you better take some pictures."

"Why would we need to backpack around the world when I can just zap us there?"

"Right, of course. You can go anywhere with the snap of your fingers. Guess what, my methods so much more classy. Now that I have my powers back I can summon any flying cryptid to take us wherever we want."

"Oh yeah, real classy, Zak. It'll be like riding horses on the beach during the sunset."

"Wait, what?" he asked totally missing the sarcasm in her voice.

"Forget it, how's Fisk doing?" Zak's eyes glowed orange for a moment before fading.

"No one suspects a thing. It shouldn't be much longer until Fisk is on guard duty then he can give take and give the fragment to Zon and she can sneak it out to us."

"I really hope this works."

"I really hope they'll forgive me."

"I'm sure they will. Siblings fight, but they always make up in the end…at least that's what all the books say."

"You read books on relationships?"

"Yes, that's how I spend my free time. I read books on how to hold relationships with siblings so that I can experiment with it on the sister that I always wanted."

"Um…"

"Fiction books, nimrod. Broken relationships almost always mend by the end of the story. So, in the instance that Wadi is super mega pissed at you for cropping her out of the picture before the climax, the odds are you don't break up. And the odds are that your siblings forgive you as well."

"You said they were fiction books, right?"

"Yes."

"I'm doomed." He moaned falling back onto the grass.

"Hey, you're an attractive young white male, if you aren't grounded for life after this I'm sure you could easily find a new girlfriend. As for siblings, I can't help you there. "

"Except I don't want a new girl friend or siblings."

"Then I'll be sure that Wadi understands that it was my fault and not to blame you. As for Fisk…yeah, you're on your own. "

"I don't know if you'll have any credibility after all this is over."

"She'll believe me, trust me, Zak, it's a girl thing."

"I don't like the look in your eyes." He huffed.

"Of course you don't"

"I wonder how long we're gonna have to wait." Zak wondered his eyes shining orange again. "Oh?"

"What?" I asked. He stood up as a green prehistoric bird dropped out of the sky.

"That was faster than I was expecting." He said as Zon dropped the stone fragment out of her mouth and into his hands. "And this makes six."

As soon as the stone touched my hands I felt a surge of power. I didn't pass out this time, thank god. Six fragments, at last, but not the whole stone.

"So now what?" I asked Blair.

"I don't know. He said I would know where to go after all was said and done."

"So do you know where to go?"

"Nope."

"Great." We had the final fragment, but now we were stuck at a crossroad. "So what do we do now?"

"Go back to rock Farrow, I guess." I turned and thanked Zon for helping us before taking Blair's hand as she brought us back to our little clearing.

Upon arrival we could sense that we weren't alone. We couldn't see him, but he was there. Jeb Ackerson was watching us from the shadows…as usual. Blair walked around the clearing and stopped opposite end to me.

"We got the last stone." She called, "Now where do you want us to go?"

"Blair, what's you're favorite color?"

"Blue." She said immediately. Her hands shot to her mouth as a look of surprise surfaced on her face. Why had she answered him?

"Blair, when's your Birthday."

"I don't know. Know one knows. My birthday is the day my parents adopted me."

"Blair, why are you answering his questions?" I asked, but she didn't look at me, I don't even think she heard me. She was glancing around the clearing as if trying to find the source of the voice or maybe find some answers as to what was happening.

"Blair, do you remember anything before you were adopted?" Why was he asking her all these questions?

"Shut up." She hissed.

"Answer me." He returned in a demanding voice. A voice that compelled her to answer.

"No I don't remember anything." She responded as if the words were forced out of her mouth.

"Do you know who I am?" why wasn't he affecting me? His voice was different than before, I could hear the difference, but why was Blair being affected by it and not me? Was it because the questions were directed at her?

"Do I? No not really." She mumbled. "Should I know you?" she stumbled a little and looked a bit dizzy. She had her hand on her temple as if it would stop whatever was happening to her.

"Would you like to find out?"

"Blair say no." I ordered. I wanted to snap her out of whatever haze she was entering but I only knew of one way that could work, but I swore I wouldn't use my powers on her again.

"If you wish to find out, then come home, Blair, and be sure to bring your little friend, you know daddy likes to meet the people in your life."

"Daddy?" I asked completely lost. I glanced over to Blair hoping she might be able to make heads or tails of that, but she was down on the ground gasping for breath. "Blair!" I cried rushing to her side. "Blair, what's wrong." She just shook her head and grabbed my wrist. I tried to pull away but her grip was like iron.

There was a familiar shift in the gut of my stomach, the one I always felt when Blair teleported us anywhere. One second we were in the forest clearing and the next we were standing in the entry hall of the one place I never wanted to go back to.

We were in the abandon home of V.V Argost.

Dun-Du-DUN

The one place Zak never wanted to go back to. Why would Blair take them there, and what was up with Blair, she was acting strange.

All questions will be answered in time, but until then, i have a question for you that you will hopefully answer.

Who is your favorite of Zaks siblings any why are they your favorite?

Fiskerton, Komodo, or Zon?

I hope you all answer and i really hope this chapter wasn't as boring as it feels like it was.
