Miria, Marcus, Ying, and Blake were in team AYMM's dorm room everyone had bandages on them as they were treated after the battle for the breach but I looked like Miria's leg was healing up fine as she was able to walk on it but not too much.
"Any news on him?" Blake asked as Miria shook her head. "The Atlas military are keeping him under surveillance and aren't letting anyone see him until he wakes up." Miria said as she remembered after the fight Atlas came in and arrested Ared and hospitalized him keeping a strict eye on him waiting till he woke up he had been in a comatose state ever since his arms were cut off to save his life.
"I don't understand why I can't see my own brother and make sure he's ok." Marcus said as he clenched his fist in anger everyone wanted to say something but simply couldn't. Soon they heard a knock at the door and Ying stood up and opened the door to see Ozpin standing there. "I need to speak with you all meet me in my office." Ozpin said as he left leaving everyone to look at each other. Miria and Marcus stood up and began to walk to the door. "Hey Blake make sure you support your leader she might need it right now." Miria said as Blake nodded leaving the room walking in separate directions.
-Ozpin's Office-
All three of them sat down in front of Ozpin who had something to say to them. "I would like to say to you all that Ared should make a full recovery because his semblance is recreating his lost arms it's only taking a long time." a smile came across Miria and Marcus while Ying just smirked. "But sadly he will be under Atlas supervision and he won't be allowed out of that room until this mess is over meaning you will not be participating in the tournament coming up." Ozpin said though all of them understood that this was to happen anyway and just merely nodded.
"Ying I have also heard your Master will be coming to the tournament to watch some of the fighting." this caught Ying off guard he stood up suddenly making everyone look at him strangely which he composed himself and spoke. "May I make a quick call." to which Ozpin nodded and Ying walked to the elevator pulling out his scroll and leaving.
"Ozpin I have a question." Miria said as Ozpin looked to her and nodded for her to go on. "Why did Ared do this?" Ozpin sighed as he took a sip of his coffee before responding. "I'm sorry but I'm unable to tell you that but if you wish to know more about your leader of suggest you start at the beginning." Ozpin said as he pulled out his scroll and typed something and Miria's scroll rang which she checked to see and address on her messages. She looked up to Ozpin who nodded to her and Miria and Marcus stood up and thanked Ozpin and made their way out.
Marcus and Miria were now walking through the halls together and Ying was nowhere to be seen "What did he give you?" Marcus asked Miria looked at her scroll. "Its an address but I think we should go check it out during the festival." Miria said making Marcus raise an eyebrow and looking at her. "Why during the festival, why not now we could learn allot." Marcus said making Miria stop and look at him. "Because right now our friends are not in the best of moods and I'm sure Ared wouldn't want anyone brooding over him like this. Plus I believe he would love to see Ruby and them win the tournament." she said as she walked off leaving Marcus there to think for a bit. "You seem to know more about him then I do."
-Ozpin's Office-
"You didn't have to keep his friends away." Ozpin said as he stood looking out of his window looking at all the students that were down below. "I did what was right. We have no idea if he's even on our side." Ozpin then saw Ironwood's reflection on the window Ironwood was leaning on Ozpin's desk and wasn't even looking at Ozpin.
"He did provide us with some crucial information of the many other warehouses these members were huddled up in." Ozpin said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small USB. "Even you should know that doesn't mean anything." Ironwood said as he began to walk away. "They are both the same traitors."
Ozpin stood there before speaking to himself. "Their just like you doing what they thought was right."
-2 weeks later-
Miria, Marcus, and Ying were standing by the airship docking yard waiting for Ying's Master, Ying looked to have a stern face unlike his usual face which was quiet and almost devoid of emotions. They waited and waited until Marcus spoke up. "So what is your Master guy like I mean he sounds like a guy you respect."
Ying looked at Marcus and rolled his eyes. "Respect? No, my Master is somewhat of a freeroaming idiot that still belives that he is young that's why I don't really care much for you." Ying said as Marcus began to respond.
"Because I remind you of him." Marcus said as Ying sighed. "Exactly." Ying said disheartedly.
Soon the airship that Ying spoke of came in but unlike the other airships this one was different it was an oak wood color with gold edges giving it that antique look to it. As it docked the ramp came down they saw many different people walking off the ship all of them wearing a white kasaya that covered their bodies ranging from men to women old and young. They all took their places on the sides making a ayle and bowing as well this formation led to the three who were waiting when they saw him.
Ying's master he wore a dark green kasaya robe and a purple scarf around his neck his white beard reached past the scarf. His bald head reflected the sun's rays and his skin with tanned to a golden brown color. His eyes were open just a little but to others his eyes appeared to be closed. He was surrounded by four guards who wore orange kasaya robes but unlike the others they all had a sword in their left hand to protect the master of anyone were to try and attack him. The guards and Master walked up to the three and Ying bowed Miria and Marcus didn't understand and bowed their heads. They heard a small chuckle from the master who shook his head. "Their is no need to now to me I'm your guest i'm the one who should be bowing to you." as they all raised their heads Ying spoke up. "Yes but it is a sign of respect you old fart." Ying said making Miria surprised waiting for this master guy to be angry but instead she hears him laughing. "I'm not old little one im as healthy as an ox. But I did hear about a young girl you met tell me does she have-" the master said as he made a groping motion in the air but before he could finish he caught Ying's fist which was aimed for his face.
"Oh your touchy so does that mean I was right?" the master said as he let go of Ying's fist.
"it doesn't mean anything you senile old bat." Ying said as the master turned and looked at Miria and Marcus. "So who are these two are they part of your team?" he asked as Ying looked to Miria and Marcus. "Guys this is Master Yiyo."
"Just call me Yiyo I don't like being called by my title." Yiyo said as Marcus went for a handshake. "Its nice to meet you sir." Marcus said as he saw the trained eyes of the guards watching his hand intently it was almost unnerving. Yiyo grabbed his hand and shook it. "The pleasure is all mine."
Yiyo looked to Miria and spoke. "And you must be Miria." Yiyo said and she shook His hand. "So you must be a headmaster of these people hold you up so highly. Yiyo chuckled and shook his head and let go of her hand. "Sadly I do not hold such an honor. No but unlike others my village lives outside of the walls and we live peacefully with our guards routing Grimm from coming in and I hold a large garden in which I teach the people who come in how to fight in the ways of the flow of battle." Yiyo said as he looked to the others who were still bowing. "They just hold me so highly because I have given them such a large gift that the only way they think is to repay me is to treat me with the up most respect." he said he whispered to one of his guards who turned and looked to Yiyo's students.
"Master Yiyo says for you all to enjoy your time here in Vale!" the guard shouted making all the students stand straight and walk in different direction speaking to each other in excited tones. Yiyo looked to his guards and spoke. "You guys as well go on shoo." he said as one of the guards spoke up. "But sir…" he was then cut off by Yiyo. "I'll be fine I'm with my top pupil plus I'll be going to see Ozpin once in done." he said as the guards nodded and left him.
-Beacon Halway-
The four of them walked the halls of Beacon showing the many things it held like the sparring room and the dorms. As they continued walking Yiyo reached down and grabbed a piece of paper off the ground and looked at it. "Sir?" Miria said as she turned to see he wasn't following them the others stopped and walked over. "This dropped out of your pocket." Yiyo said as he handed over the picture of Ared's parents. Miria grabbed it and put it in her pocket. "Thank you."
"Why do you have that picture if I remember correctly he had a son not a daughter." Yiyo said as everyone was surprised at what was said. "You know Ared's father?" Marcus said as Yiyo nodded. "During one of his missions his people passed through my village and they stayed for a bit before leaving for the fort. He told me about his wife and son. So Ared was his name how is the boy?" as he asked this everyone went silent but Ying spoke up. "He's our leader but he got involved in crime but he did it to help everyone he's in the hospital in a coma because he lost his arms." Ying said as Yiyo nodded slightly. "Does he know about his father?" Yiyo asked and everyone nodded. "We were told by Ozpin that the fort was destroyed after an attack." Marcus said as Yiyo shook his head. "I guess they wanted to keep the truth hidden."
"What do you mean?" Ying asked as Yiyo looked around before looking back at them. "Do you know who was the one who attacked the fort?" Yiyo asked as everyone shook their heads. "It was Pythius himself. He slaughtered everyone in the fort and left his sword and disappeared. No one knows where he is." Yiyo said as he began to walk past them before saying one more thing. "Don't tell anyone for its connected to something even more hidden that the teachers here don't want you to know be careful." Yiyo said as he walked on turning the corner heading to Ozpin's office.
"Ared's father killed his fellow comrades why?" Miria asked as she then looked to Ying and Marcus. "We're checking out the house now."
