Harry tossed and turned in bed. He had done it all night, he just couldn't get comfortable. He couldn't find a comfortable position all night. He finally gave up and sat up, well he tried. It wasn't easy with his huge, 8 month pregnant belly, but eventually he got into a sitting position. He actions having woke his husband.
"What's the matter Harry? Are you alright?" Severus asked as he sat up too.
"Oh I'm sorry Severus, did I wake you up? I'm sorry." Harry replied looking deeply upset.
His eyes filled with tears.
"Damn hormones." He muttered as he wiped at his eyes.
"Harry, what's wrong sweetie?" Severus asked pulling Harry into his arms and rubbing his swollen belly.
"I'm so uncomfortable. I can't find a good position, my back hurts and I'm tired. I want to sleep, but I can't." He said with a yawn.
"Aww my poor baby." Severus said.
He pulled Harry closer to his chest and snuggled into is back. He continued to rub his belly. Harry snuggled closer with a yawn.
"Feel better sweetie?" Severus asked him.
"Much. Thank you." He told him as his eyes closed. "I love you."
"I love you too, Harry. Sweet dreams." Severus told him as he closed his eyes and fell asleep with his arms wrapped around his sleeping husband.

A few hours later the couple woke up to the sound of their alarm going off. Severus leaned over and switched it off, and sat up. Harry sighed and sat up as well, with Severus' help.
"Huh... I hate monday mornings." Harry said stretching.
"Me too." Severus replied. "Another week filled with dunderheads."
Harry laughed and swung his legs over the side of the bed and attempted to stand up. He failed miserably. Not wanting to gie up, he tried again. He failed. He tried one more time... He almost had it, but he failed. Again. He plopped back down on the bed, laying on his back, with his arms opened in defeat. He turned his head to look at his husband who was still seated in bed with an amused look on his face.
Harry sighed.
"Severus, can you help me up?" He asked.
Severus laughed and smiled.
"Of course sweetie." He replied, getting up.
He walked around the bed and stood in front of Harry. He grabbed a hold of Harry's hands and pulled him into a sitting position, before finally pulling him to his feet.
"Thank you Sevybear." Harry said.
"No problem, sweetie." Severus said.
They took a shower and got dressed and headed up to the great hall.
They walked up to the head table and took their seats. Dumbledore smiled at them.
"Good morning boys." He said to them.
"Good morning Albus." They replied as they filled their plates with the variety of breakfast foods that were on the table.
"How are you boys this fine morning?" He asked them as he sipped his tea and popped a lemon drop on his mouth.
Severus rolled his eyes at Albus' cheery attitude.
"Just fine." He said talking a sip of his coffee.
"Just great." Harry said, mouth full of food.
"Harry don't talk with you mouth full. It's impolite." Severus scolded his husband.
Harry nodded but didn't respond as he shoveled more food into his mouth.
Albus laughed, his eyes twinkling. Severus saw it and was immediately cautious.
'You can never be too careful when Albus has that damn twinkle in his eyes. I wonder what he has planned? I bet it's horrible and he's going to want me to be involved, I know it!' Severus thought bitterly.
Before Severus could ask him what he was planning, he had already cleared his thought, causing the entire hall to go silent. He stood up and addressed the occupants-students and staff.
"Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I have an announcement to make, and it'll make you all excited." He said.
'I highly doubt that.' Severus thought
"As all of you know, Valentines day is this friday. To celebrate we will be having a Valentines day ball." That was as much as he could say before the hall was filled with noise.
Girls screamed and cheered while boys groaned and complained.
"Ohhh that sounds like fun Severus. Doesn't it?" Harry said.
"Oh yes dear, it sounds very fun." Severus replied with a forced smile and a pained look on his face at that meer thought of the Valentines day ball.
His comment changed Harry's mood from happy and cheerful to hurt and ashamed.
"Ohhh... I understand Severus. You don't want to go to the ball with me. I understand, really I do. I mean I'm fat, and ugly and.." Harry started to say before he was interrupted.
"Harry that's not what I ment, and you know it. I'm just saying Balls aren't my thing. Besides we have a getaway planed, remember?" Severus replied, trying not to offend the hormonal man.
For the past three weeks, Harry and Severus had been planning a trip for valentines day weekend. Something romantic and special. It was the last time they could get away before the baby was due next month. They were planning on going back to Italy. They had gone there on their honeymoon and fallen in love with it.
Harry got a dreamy look on his face as he thought about their upcoming trip.
"Oh yeah, I can't wait to go to Italy again." He said.
"Besides, I think you're beautiful, and sexy, and breathtaking, and amazing, and if we were free this weekend I would definitely take you to the ball, baby. You're beautiful." Severus said, taking Harry's hands in his.
Harry blushed and smiled at Severus.
"Do you really think that or are you just saying that?" He asked.
"Why would I say those things if I didn't mean them. I wouldn't do that." Severus told him.
"That's true Sev, I'm sorry I thought that. It's just ya know hormones and stuff. I love you." Harry said.
"I love you too." Severus replied.
He brought the hand he was holding in between his to his lips and kissed it.
Finally Albus got the hall silent again and continued on with his announcement.
"Now as I was saying, the ball will be held on Friday at 8:00 pm and will continue until 10:00. All years are welcome to attend. On Wednesday and Friday, all students will have a free period for an hour and a half in order to go to Hogsmead or Diagon Alley in order to shop for your party wear. " Albus finished.
When he sat back the entire hall was enveloped in chatter, girls discussing what to wear and who they want to ask them. And they boys discussed who they were going to ask and if they had to go or not.
Among the excited students were Aphrodite and Lily. They were soo excited, and kinda worried. They were afraid they wouldn't get asked because of who their parents were.
The rest of breakfast was filled with the students chatter about the upcoming ball. When breakfast was finally over the students and staff made their way to their classrooms.
The entire day was filled with the student body talking about the ball, it was a lot more fun than paying attention in class. That resulted in many incidents through out the day, especially in potions. 3 cauldrons exploded and a few students were injured, and more had detention.
Finally it was dinner, the day was finally over. The great hall was filled with chatter as usual. In order to discuss the ball, Lily and her friends Ivy, Joryden and Juliet sat at the Gryffindor table with Aphrodite and her friends Lauren and Erin and their (Aph and Lily) cousins Carson, Hugo, Rose, Hazel, Rachel and Scorpius.
"I wonder who's going to ask me?" Lily said as she sipped her pumpkin juice. "I hope it's Mason Greengrass (2nd year), he's soooo cute and he has the most gorgeous eyes.. emm."
The girls nodded.
"You two would make a cute couple sis." Aphrodite said. "As for me I hope Dallas Turner asks me... I know he's a third year but he's hot. And when he plays Quidditch... emmm yum."
Her comment made the other girls laugh.
"I agree with that, he is damn sexy." Rose said
For the rest of dinner they talked about which guys they wanted to ask them and why.

Harry and Severus spent the entire evening meal talking about the ball.
"I wonder who is going to ask Aphrodite and Lily to the ball." Harry said as he ate his streak and mashed potatoes with pickles and hot sauce.
Severus eyed the concoction and made a face.
"Anyway I hope someone decent asks them, if not they are getting..." Severus started.
"Getting what? Detention? Their arses kicked? Come on Sevybear, whither we like it or not they are going to get asked out and agree whither we like approve of their choices or not." Harry said.
"Fine, but I'm telling Minerva to keep an eye on them while we're gone." He grumbled.
Harry laughed and shock his head as he continued eating.

The next couple of days passed quickly. The twins were asked out by Mason and Dallas, respectively.
Wednesday and Thursday came and went. Harry and Severus had taken the twins shopping for their shoes and dresses and jewelry. It went a lot better than Harry and Severus thought it would. Aphrodite picked out a beautiful purple, knee length , sleeveless, flowy dress, while Lily pick out a lovely pale blue dress that came to the middle of her calf. They both had beautiful black 1 inch heels (That's as high as Severus and Harry would allow them to buy at their age). Lily also got beautiful shimmery silver hoop earings and Aphrodite dangly silver earings. They color coordinated with their dates, who were going to wear matching color bow ties.
As soon as they got back from shopping Lily and Aphrodite placed their things in their respective rooms in their dads' quarters and headed up to hang out with their friends.
As soon as they left Harry and Severus began their discussion.
"Don't you think the girls dresses are beautiful Severus?" Harry asked as they cuddled on the couch by the fire.
"Yes they're very beautiful. I just wish they were going with some one their age." He replied.
Harry sigh. 'Back to this again.' He thought.
"Severus Mason is only a year older than Lily and Dallas is only 2 years older than Aphrodite, but barley. There are 20 years between us Severus, it could be a lot worse. Besides it's not like they're getting married, they're going to a school ball which will be heavily supervised. Besides Minerva agreed to watch their every move for us, nothing is going to happened. At most a good night kiss." Harry said.
"On the check?" Severus asked.
"Of course on the check. If those boys try anything else to our babies, they're going to face two very angry, powerful parents." Harry told him.
"Good." Severus replied hugging him more closely.
Harry laughed and snuggled into his man.
Friday had finally arrived.
Of course Dumbledore being Dumbledore he canceled all the afternoon lessons in order for the teachers to help with the preparations for later that night.
The girls and their friends were hanging out in the Potter-Snape quarters while Harry and Severus help set up.
"I can't wait for the ball later. It's going to be so fun." Erin said.
"Yeah I know I'm soo excited." Ivy said.
The girls chatted about that for a while, until Lauren noticed the suitcases packed and ready to go by the fire place.
"What are those?" She asked pointing to them.
"Oh those are dad and father's luggage." Lily said.
"There going to Italy for 3 days for a romantic weekend." Aphrodite added.
"Ohh Italy. " Joryden said.
"That's sweet, are you two jealous you can't go along?" Lauren asked.
"A little, but they deserve it. It is the last time they can get away before the baby's born." Aphrodite said.
"Yeah that and it's better they're all lovey dovey and mushy in front of stranger and not us." Lily added, a grimace on her face as she thought about how gross her parents could be.
They all laughed.
It was finally time for the ball. After dinner, girls went their separate ways to get ready.
An hour and a half later, at 7:45, there was a knock on their quarters' door.
Severus and Harry were busy helping the twins with the finishing touches and taking picture when they heard the knock.
"Coming." Harry said.
He walked to the door and opened it. Standing there was Mason Greengrass and Dallas Turner. They were wearing dress robes with bow ties that matched the girls dresses.
" , . Please come in." He said.
They followed him in and through to the living room. As soon as they entered and saw the girls, they were speechless. Aphrodite had her long, black hair curled and pinned up, a few loose curls framing her face. Lily had her long, black hair curled as well only hers was lose with a flower pinned in it by her left ear.
"Lily, you look beautiful." Mason told her with a shy smile.
"Aphrodite, you look amazing." Dallas said.
"Thank you." The girls replied.
Severus glared at them as they talked to the twins.
"Before we take pictures and send you four on your way we have some rules." He said,
"Father." The twins groaned.
He ignored them.
"There will be no touching apart from hand holding and dancing, which will be kept appropriate. And if you wish you may kiss them good night. On the check. Understand?" He asked.
The boys nodded to afraid to say anything.
"Good." Severus said.
"Severus, stop scaring them." Harry said.
Severus made a face but said nothing.
They took pictures of the couples and sent them on their way to the great hall. Before they left they said good bye to their parents.
"Good bye dad, father." Lily said.
"I hope you two have fun." Aphrodite said.
They hugged their parents.
"See you Tuesday and bring us back something." They said as they left.
Harry and Severus laughed and told them to be careful and have a good time.
Once they were gone, Harry turned to Severus.
"Ready to go sweetie?" He asked.
"Yeah, lets go." Severus said.
They grabbed their luggage and each other and flooed to their hotel in Italy where they would spend the next 3 days being sappy and romantic.
The ball went wonderfully. They ate, drank punch and danced. When the ball was over the boys walked the girls back to their respective common rooms, ending the wonderful night with a sweet kiss on the cheek.
A/N: And there it is folks, chapter 19! I based the discussion they had at dinner about boys on what me and my friends say about guys at lunch... on this was more G rated.
