After being beaten, handcuffed, beaten a little more, and thrown into the back of a prisoner bus, Hezekiah was starting to think that maybe he really made a mistake agreeing to run this mission. The communist soldiers were gracious enough to inform them that they were being sent to Camp Hainan.

Hezekiah had heard of Camp Hainan in the briefings about Chinese activity. So, the CPA really was starting a Communist revolution in Iscariot lands. Too bad the CPA also had a bone to pick with the ILA and NATO.

The prisoners sat in a school bus model that was painted green with red and gold markings on its side. Hezekiah was taught to read basic Mandarin when he signed up and knew that the bus wasn't taking them anywhere good. The rest of Misfit sat behind him on the bus, filling up about half of it.

Cathy and Flint sat behind him. Cathy had her head bunny head on Flint's shoulder, she had curled up and whimpered to herself. She was hit in the eye with a nightstick, and who knows where else, all Flint knew for sure was that she was in a lot of pain.

Flint nudged her, "Don't worry alright. We are going to get through this. Somehow, I promise."

Cathy shook her head, "It's not the thought of being held prisoner that scares me, it's the fact that I failed my people."

"No. Don't say that- "

"Mission failure, Flint. Misfit has always been known for its victories and wins but this time we cant win. We are going to die, Flint. And if I die without being able to defeat the Iscariots then I failed not just this mission but my country."

"Hey, look at me," Cathy refused, her bunny ears hung over her face and casted a shadow over it, "Hey come on. Look at me." She finally looked up and Flint saw tears and two red eyes from crying.

"You didn't fail. You don't fail by dying. You fail by being afraid to fight. And damnit Cathy, you fought a good fight. Alright?"

"Then what good am I dead."

"It's not about dying, Cathy. It's about what you did while you were alive. If you die now you would be a martyr. People would have your face all over flags and posters and stuff. You know people would love you even after you die."

Cathy just looked at him, making Flint a bit nervous, "I-I mean, I ain't the smartest guy in the world-"

"Ha! You got that right Flint" Hezekiah jeered from ahead, Flint kicked his chair and murmured something under his breath along the lines of Fucking asshole.

"As I was saying. I don't know a lot, but I know how people think y'know. And they won't think your bad just because you died with your fists swinging. You know what I mean. I mean shit, look at Martin Luther King, look at him man. He fought to end segregation and stuff and they shot his ass dead. And we have an entire month dedicated to him and people like him. You see what I mean?"

Cathy had no idea who Martin Luther King was, but she understood exactly what Flint was saying, she nodded her head. Still not convinced, Flint nudged her again, "Hey, and don't be afraid. They are probably going to talk to us, maybe hold us in jail for a few days and then we are out. I mean we have international laws and stuff." Flint smiled making Cathy feel a little bit better.

"Thank you."

"No problem."

The bus sped through the countryside, but soon it entered into a more tropical environment. It crossed a bridge onto a island, through a gate with fences and walls, into a gigantic military complex that was smaller than Fort Ithaca but still powerful. All around, Chinese soldiers, CPA guards and red flags and banners hung around. Chinese tanks and vehicles were everywhere. There was no civilian habitation like in Fort Ithaca, it was purely a military complex.

This was Camp Hainan. And this was where they would be spending the rest of their sorry lives.

They were rushed off the bus by a guard who spoke almost no English, they were prodded with cattle rods whenever they didn't understand an order, and they were rushed into a military complex. Taking an elevator that led them underground, they found where the prison was. And it was huge.

The prison was a massive underground complex, built around a central control area. Cells adorned the sides of the cave and they were layered one on top of another up to six cells high. or about six floors. They were quickly led past the main containment area into an off room. A darker room, where they were beaten again but this time a little lighter, and the lights were turned off.

Hezekiah was dragged into a chair and strapped in. He was worried this would happen, there would be interrogation tonight. Yay!?

A light shone from the roof and across from him Hezekiah could see Jay strapped in a chair as well, they both looked at each other and nodded taking slight comfort that another one of their squad members was there to experience whatever pain would come next.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here? A squadron of Marines, a Avian girl, and a Iscariot? What a strange combination," A guard who spoke perfect English appeared from out of the shadows with tow others behind him.

Hezekiah kept his mouth shut, "So, 2nd Lieutenant Hezekiah Brooks of the U.S. Marine Corps, Corporal Jefferey Hastings from the U.S. Army, and our audience" Hezekiah looked around and noticed for the first time a glass window. No doubt the rest of Misfit was being held to watch them get tortured while the guards pressed them for answers. He also noticed that Jay's name is actually Jefferey. Wow.

"You have some talking to do. What was your mission. We detected your vehicle heading towards Fargo, and your vehicle was the only one so it couldn't be an invasion operation. So, I ask again what was your mission in Fargo?"

Silence, Jay and Hezekiah made eye contact, silently vowing a vow of silence. The man turned his attention from Hezekiah to follow his eyes, when he realized what the soldiers had done, he grew a wicked smile, "So we want to play hard to get now do we? Fine, I ask you one more time. What was your mission in Fargo?"

The man produced a taser from his jacket, and rammed it right into Jay's stomach, Jay instantly reeled back and started screaming at the top of his lungs from the pain.

"Hey man, leave him alone! You bastard!" Hezekiah barked at him. The taser stopped and Jay was left in a slump gathering his breath and his thoughts.

"Ready to speak, are we?" Hezekiah shook his head, "So be it," and the stun gun was turned on him. Now it was Hezekiah's turn to feel the exhilarating thrill of having hundreds of volts being sent through his body at one time. His muscles began to twitch without his consent and he too reeled back from the pain.

It ended soon. A dead soldier was no good to the Chinese right now, "Hey Hezekiah, these fuckheads aren't going to get shit out of us! No way!" Jay mumbled after he witnessed Hezekiah being electrocuted.

"Well it's a good thing I brought help then." The two guards both pulled out stun sticks and proceeded to shock and beat the two soldiers. Until Filo put an end to it.

"Stop! Alright, I give in! Alright," her voice pierced through the dark room.

"Go ahead my lady. I'm listening."

"We were going to pick up a VIP from Fargo. And bring them to Earth."

"And who is this VIP?"

"I-I don't know-"

"LIES!" Hezekiah and Jay both received a shock.

"No I swear! I have no idea. Just let them go!"

"No, you're lying to me. And to the CPA, and to China. Lying against the government is worthy of the death sentence, and the only thing keeping me from sending you all to the executioner is diplomatic niceties. Now tell me what you know or these two die!"

"I don't know! I swear!"

The man sighed in frustration. Today's session wasn't going as expected. He spoke something in mandarin to the other guards and Hezekiah and Jay were lifted out of their seats and dragged out of the room. Hezekiah couldn't feel his legs and on the brink of blacking out.

There was a scuffle behind the glass, and he knew that the rest of Misfit was being sent to their cells.

"Hey, Jefferey. Your name isn't really Jay?" Hezekiah asked weakly as he stumbled on the floor being dragged by the guard.

"Naw."

"Well I'll be-"

Darkness.
