"He was a champion of K'un L'un," Khan says solemnly, "He deserved a better death. I realize this will be of little consolation."

Cage grits his teeth in rage as he races toward Khan. Khan creates a wave of telekinetic force the tears through the ground, and pushes Cage back as it blows off his shirt and rips his pant legs. He roars angrily as he digs his legs into the ground and pushes against the invisible force as Khan attempts to push him back. Ava attempts an attack from behind but he quickly turns and fires a blast that knocks her out of the air. With him distracted, Cage leaps into the air with both fists raised above his head, but Khan raises his forcefield just in time. The impact sends chunks of rock and dirt into the air and once it clears slightly, Khan is embedded in rock with his forcefield still raised. Meanwhile, the cliffside underneath them buckles slightly as the rocks begin to crack and fall away. Khan looks frightened as Cage raises his fists again and brings them against the forcefield, which causes the cliffside to break away even more. One more blow completely smashes Khan through the rock and a large chunk of cliff breaks away along with Khan. His forcefield withstands the force of him bouncing off the side of the cliff as he falls to the shallow stream below, but it soons disappears after that, flickering like a bulb going out. A semi-conscious and wet Master Khan lies in the water and his eyes flutter slightly as he opens them in time to see the broken boulders from the cliff fall toward him. He screams and raises his hands just before they hit the water.

Cage peers over the ledge at the pile of rocks in the stream below, "So much for living forever."

Ava picks herself off the ground and goes to Cage, placing a caring hand on his shoulder. "He was a good friend," he tells her, "I took him for granted but he was a good friend." They stand in silence as they mourn Danny Rand.

Nearby, a single hand reaches over the edge of the cliff, getting the attention of Cage and Ava. Danny pulls himself up, now dirty, bruised, and exhausted. Once he is on his knees, he pulls his mask off tiredly, "Did we get `im?" Cage smiles and rushes to Danny, lifting him up in a tight bearhug.

"And... now we're hugging," Danny says awkwardly, "Why is this happening?"

"I thought you were dead, man!," Cage lets him go.

"I learned how to climb mountains in China. I can handle a little cliff. I mean,... I climbed up the side of your apartment building the other day."

"Whatever, man. I'm just glad you're alive."

"Thanks, Luke," Danny smiles.

"That's so sweet," Ava says thoughtfully, eliciting an annoyed look from Danny and Cage, "Seriously,... the bromance? Totally cute, I don't care how badass you guys are. Gives me the feels."

They stand overlooking the cliff as the sun rises in the distance.

The next day, Bob Diamond is released from the hospital. He walks with a cane down the ramp and is greeted by Ava who smiles and hands him his talisman.

"Here. You can send it off to China now," she tells him, "Hopefully, it can make it to the post office this time."

He takes it, "So it's all over now?"

"Yep. We got the guy responsible for all this and the White Tiger is in safe hands."

"You still keeping your piece?"

"Of course. With all the trouble these things caused, I need some kind of souviner. I almost died about four times."

"Wow,... So you actually wore the entire amulet yourself and youd didn't manage to get greedy about it."

"I was fighting for my life so I didn't have much time to think about it. Either way, I'm not sure if I'm cut out for this sort of thing."

"But it was fun while it lasted, wasn't it?"

"Honestly,... Yeah."

"So what about Abe Brown's piece?"

"Luke Cage is delivering that one himself," she puts her arm around him, "C'mon, I'll help you to the taxi."

Luke Cage enters the Abe Brown Dojo with his talisman and Lemarr notices, he turns away from his class and approaches him. "Think this belongs to you guys," Cage hands the talisman to him, "Try to hold on to it this time."

Lemarr smiles, "Sure, thing."

"Hey, about the other day, I just wanted you to know you were right about everything you said."

"No problem."

"Y'know, if the kids wanna see me, I'll stop by maybe next week or something."

"Yeah, we'd love to have you."

"Thanks," he shakes his hand.

As Cage leaves the dojo, he approaches Danny who is waiting by his new car. "So, case closed," Danny tells him, "No lose ends."

"Yeah, case closed."

"Going after the Maggia again? I promise, I'll stay out of your way this time."

"Nah, not yet. You were right. I gotta clear my head a bit before I go after them. I can't afford to get stupid."

"Well, if you need any help..."

"Thanks, man. I'll need it. Especially now that the company is getting sold. Who knows what will happen now."

"Yeah, about that. It has a new owner."

"Really? Who?"

"Me."

"You?"

"Yeah, I bought Heroes for Hire."

"You did? So,... What, are you my boss now?"

"Yep."

"Oh, man. I'd rather just be unemployed."

"Tell ya, what. I can sell it back to you."

"Really? How much?"

"A dollar."

"Yeah, no thanks," he gets in the car.

"I thought I'd make the offer," Danny gets in the driver's seat.

They drive off into the distance.

"So how much am I gonna make now?"

"Already negotiating are we?"

"Oh, yeah."

"I haven't decided yet."

"You know I'll go on strike."

"Well, if I go on missions with you, I'd say I wouldn't have to pay you that much. Y'know, because I would be doing most of the work, of course."

"Oh yeah, which one of us is stronger?"

"Which one of us can do a 360 degree kick?"

"You can do that? Really?"

"Yep."

"Like Jean Claude Van Damme and everything?"

"Yeah."

"I'm impressed."

"Thanks."

They continue to go back and forth as they drive on.

THE STINGER

Danny and Cage enter Danny's private dojo in his house. "So I have this thing at the dojo tomorrow and I want to impress the kids," Cage explains, "I need you to show me a few moves."

"I give classes to Misty and Colleen every week. You can always train with them."

"Might be a good idea. Those ninjas showed me up a little too much back there."

"Okay, let's start with dodging. Bullet proof or not, you really need to learn to get out the way."

"Show me."

Danny takes a boxing stance and Cage stands in front of him. "When I say 'ready', I want you to cock your head to the left," Danny tells him. Cage nods and gets ready, "Got it." Danny braces himself, breathes, and then calls out, "Ready." He strikes and, instead of dodging, Cage recieves a punch to the nose and both men shout at the same time.

"You weren't supposed to hit me," Cage says angrily.

Danny turns and clutches his fist, "You were supposed to get outta the way."

"I tried. You moved too fast."

"...Almost broke my hand!"

"You punched me in the nose."

"C'mon, you barely felt it," Danny shakes his hand, "My whole hand is numb."

"Now you're just being dramatic."

"I think I have my work cut out for me."
